“Located inside food court of a supermarket, this is such a hidden gem even expected my standard as a Vietnamese. The best authentic, high quality and affordable food I've ever had outside of Vietnam! Every single dish I've tried on the menu was excellent! Highly recommended!“

“Don’t order with your eyes because you won’t finish… trust me, it’s that good! They have to have the “best” Viet BANH CUON (steamed rice rolls) in town! Also the best BANH Mi Chao (Beef, sausage, meatball, eggs, and French roll skillet) for a great value too! I will most definitely come back again …and I live 30 minutes away in East Chula Vista! I highly recommend. 5 STARS!!!“

“Very positive first experience. Chicken wings (salt & pepper) were tasty and crunchy. Egg rolls were deliciously light. Banh mi and chicken pho were 10/10 - will definitely be back to have these again. Great quality food. Service from Christie was prompt and professional, and her recommendations were a hit! Atmosphere is clean and music is good.“

“Very impressive Banh Mi sandwich here at Bale French Sandwiches! Their price is unbeatable, all the Banh mi are under $6.5, and their size aren’t too small. It’s like a 6 inch sandwich, perfect for one person. The sandwich has a lot of stuff inside, it’s filled with veggies and meat. I ordered a BBQ pork and a beef Banh mi, both are awesome. I highly recommend this place, plus their service is so friendly!“

“Our go-to place with friends and family. They have a lot of good dishes for everyone and can accommodate large groups. My little one loves the calamari appetizer, my other child always gets the Pho and my favorite dish is the vermicelli bowls. The staff is super friendly. It's the perfect spot for a casual and enjoyable meal.“

“wow wow wow! I came here yesterday and it will now be my go-to place when I am in Mira Mesa! Talk about express, I was nervous that I wasn't going to make an appointment in the afternoon, but chose to eat lunch here anyways. I was in and out within 45 minutes. You sign in outside and wait for someone to bring you to your table. Right when you sit down, the menus are there. Within a few minutes, the waiter came asking for our orders. I urgently scrolled through ordered pho and egg rolls. A cart came with our waters and drinks. about 5 minutes after that our eggs rolls came. About 5 minutes after that, all our orders came and there was 4 of us. By the time we finished eating, we had only been there for about 30-40 minutes. We would of stayed longer but felt like we needed to leave as they wanted to clear our table for the next group. If you are short on time and want a delicious meal, come here! I have never had such fast service, the food was hot and delicious, drinks were continuously getting filled. Normally, start to finish would be about 1.5 hrs to 2hrs, we were out and full in 45 minutes. The price alone is another reason to come here, way cheaper than other places i have gone to. Ample seating and they have it down with seating arrangements. I can't wait to come back!“

“The best authentic Vietnamese"banh mi" in Southern California. I live in LA, but every time I travel to San Diego, Paris Bakery is always my first place to visit. They have a variety type of Banh mi with reasonable price, their tastes are always delicious.“

“Best vegetarian Chinese food I've had! Really good fake meat, the flavors are spot on, and the portions are really large. It's nice that steamed rice comes with your meal. Highlights are the shrimp, Kung pao chicken, sweet and sour chicken, and the chow mein. Everything was so good, and we couldn't finish it all. Order at the counter and food comes out quickly. Inside is very casual, nothing special, but plenty of seating.“

“They were pretty nice and were patient. My friend is kinda slow at ordering haha. But it was good pho and a very fair amount. The meat was like 5/10, pho itself 8/10, noodles 8/10, restaurant 8/10.Would of been nice to have some mint, or some kind of flavor like mint and lemon in the water. Ya know just so it stands out.I’ve had the black bean fish that was also very good but a little more pricey.“

“I am so glad I found this place. They have so much different buns to choose from. Of course the #1 is the original, so it's a must try. But I will eventually try them all! They also deep fry them too so make sure to try that out. They also have egg rolls and Vietnamese coffee.“

“Since our local banh mi spot burned down, we had not found a new place that compared but this new place is amazing and their sandwiches are delicious! I would give them 5 stars but if I don't get there early enough, they tend to be out of croissants by noon and they are opened until 7. This has happened to me numerous of times. Other than that, they are awesome!“

“This is our favorite Vietnamese place for lunch or takeout. Their beef soup has the right amount of heat and very satisfying. The family love their banh mi sandwiches. I usually get the bun (vermicelli noodle bowl) or roasted pork belly rice plate.“

“What is lacking in interior was made up in my meal! Stir fry chicken & vegetables was delicious! The lean cuts of CB sicken reminded me of PF Chang’s yet the price was much more affordable. The sauce was equally delicious with great amounts of healthy vegetables steamed perfectly! I can’t wait to return to try her Pho.“

“This place is honestly great, they have the sweeter boba which I like and their drinks are really good. Their cookies you can tell are fresh made, not store bought with chemicals. It’s a hidden gem and beats a lot of the Convoy St shops with way easier parking!“

“First time patron. The pho, spring rolls and egg rolls were good. The atmosphere was nice with modern Vietnamese music. Looked and felt clean making my first time eating experience there good. After being served the waiter did not follow up with us on drink or dessert and it was not busy. Otherwise was satisfied.“

“The food: 1. The mì quảng ếch was alright, the flavors were not as bold or captivating as I expected, I added a good amount of chili to it. The frog meat was very, very tender to my liking. 2. My friend ordered the bún mắm heo quay and this was way better than what I ordered tbh. Pork belly was very crispy, the fermented fish sauce was bold and rich with umami and acidity as I expected. The pickled carrots and daikon that came with the noodles added some pleasant sour taste as well. The service: Average, the waitress came to take our order and she asked us if we needed anything else. Nothing extraordinary. The ambiance: The music could be a little louder, I could clearly hear other people's voices in the restaurant. It was pretty empty on an early Saturday evening though. Be warned that it's a struggle to find parking in this plaza's parking lot.“

“This is definitely not my first time here and I really don't know why it took me so long to write a review. So lazy! Anyways.. the service here is always amazing. They have a huge craft beer selection and wines I believe. I only come here for the food! We had the chow mein with beef, spring rolls, fried tofu, combination noodle soup with flat rice noodles and roasted duck noodle soup with thin rice noodles. Al were delicious. The roasted duck was flavorful and not oily. Love the clean taste of the broth. Can't ever go wrong with spring rolls. The tofu might have been a tad bit over fried but it's not gonna hinder this review. The chow men was delicious. The noodles were deep fried and it held the gravy well. When ever we are in the area we always stop by.“

“If you can eat gluten this place is fantastic. They have a lot of GF next to dishes but in the small print below, on the menu, it says it can be made GF but you have to ask. I have been sick 3 days now because of this misunderstanding. I may go back, but maybe not. This is why I prefer to eat at home.Dietary restrictions: Be absolutely sure to tell your wait person that you must have GF or other dietary restrictions.“

“Pho restaurant next to Lucky Seafood Supermarket. Very pleased to walk into a nicely decorated, bright, and inviting dining room. The staff is very attentive, bringing ice water and menus immediately.Ordered dac biet pho for lunch. It was a good and hearty meal, they gave us a lot of meat (rare steak, brisket, fatty brisket, tendon, tripe, and meatball) and veggies. I like their broth and felt very full with the portion given us. Prices for food are very fair for the amount they give you. We didn't try anything else, but I'd come back to have their pho again if I'm in the craving. Thank you for great, attentive service.“

“Every time I visit, the food comes out so quick. I tried the brisket pho, and it was great. It comes with a lot of noodles, and the broth flavor is delicious. I also got a Thai tea boba which was a little too sweet for me, and the boba pearls had a weird texture but overall still good. They have plenty of tables, so it's usually not a long wait. The staff is very attentive and quick. I've been here a few times already and plan on coming back.“

“We've been here before and their food is pretty good. They just remolded the place and it's more inviting now that it's more spacious. We called basically at 8:35 at night and asked if we can still go there and it as we were only 5 minutes away. There were 3 of us and they were willing to let us go there and eat inside which was pretty cool. They were getting ready to close for the night but they were nice enough to allow us to go there and eat inside. The food was good, service was quick and nice inside. Definitely recommend it.“

“We came in on a Friday night so the wait was a bit long but wasn’t too horrible. We ordered salted fried shrimp and two small combo pho. The salted fried shrimp was spot on and wasn’t oily at all, it was super crunchy and delicious head to tail (yes you eat the whole shrimp). The pho broth was okay but they gave us soooo much meat and lots of varieties of cuts, so it was still very filling. One down side is they don’t have condiment bottles, and gave us sauce packets. Overall, a cozy and satisfying meal for a cold night“

“Excellent banh mi, but so much more: incredible, stoked fusion food. Bahn Mi tacos, fries, breakfast burritos and crazy, fantastic salt and pepper wings. Anything you grew up with had a San Diego taco shop, but with Vietnamese spin and great service. You can't go wrong here.“

“Everyone else's food was good except mine so minus a star lol. I ordered ahead for pick up 3 appetizers and 2 main dishes about $95. Our food was ready when promised and packed well no leaks. Barbeque chicken wings were awesome. Both types of imperial rolls were excellent and still crispy even though I hit traffic getting it home and came with ample lettuce, herbs and sauce. The peanut sauce we liked the best. Clay pot Salmon was small but tasty. Jasmine tea was terrible I decided to spit it out and toss it after the third sip. Vegetable fried rice was lacking the " fried" aspect more like undercooked dry vegis tossed in leftover rice so I couldn't recommend that dish. Overall decent, a bit pricey but typical for that area.“
