“Excellent hot pot, with great selection with the AYCE option. The staff are wonderful as usual, always friendly and helpful! I would recommend the new Sichuan soup base if you like spicy and the red peppercorns (Ma La)! Thank you for telling me about it, and then swapping out my soup so we could try it! ❤️100/10 ??“

“Fantastic experience at this hot pot restaurant! Warm atmosphere, friendly staff, and the hot pot was just amazing - rich, flavorful broth with a great selection of fresh ingredients. Highly recommend for an authentic and satisfying meal. Can't wait to return!“

“Wish sign was Liuyishou Hotpot vs Liuyishou San Diego, would have tried sooner haha. Have a decent baseline for hot pot and this place surprised me. Ayce can be rightfully expensive, but $35+$3 aycDrink was very reasonable for everything offered. Place has a lax, non-pretentious feel. Several solid soup bases to choose from (Mala/Mushroom for us), meat/seafood options were great along with dozens of other staples. Food service was fast and staff were all very friendly/helpful, no sign of "being annoyed" at your requests that I feel a lot of places don't manage or temper enough. Oh and they even cover dessert. Shoutout to the $3 drink add-on with fresh watermelon juice, herbal tea and passionfruit options. Definitely making it back here. Note: We went Monday early dinner service 5pm, so unsure how it is when really busy.“

“Pretty solid place to eat. Parking is always a challenge, and sometimes the wait to get in. But food is consistently good. Super loud sometimes with some parents letting their kids screech at the top of their lungs - which is fine - but you have to be ok with not being able to have a conversation with your table unless you’re louder in those cases. It’s a good family place, good place for an office lunch, fun bar. Overall it’s good.Vegetarian options: There are things labeled vegetarian. You can also ask to make certain dishes vegetarian which they were fine with when we asked.Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly. Always see families there.“

“TL;DR good spot with some amazing items (e.g. intestine spicy noodles) albeit slightly lacking in depth of soup flavor but worthy of a late-night meal Spicy Noodle is a good spot with a small selection of noodle dishes with some accompanying side dishes like lamb skewers and other from the Chengdu region of China. Most of the staff here spoke fluent Mandarin and you have an ordering system similar to what you'd find in prototypical Chinese establishments. That shouldn't deter you, this place is a good spot to satisfy a noodle craving Here's where I'll be a little bit more critical. The meal itself was decently priced around $17 for a single person ordering one item after taxes/tip. The food wasn't spicy imo and barely broke a sweat albeit I do enjoy spice so this could also be an individual scenario. The broth was also somewhat lacking in depth of flavor. It could have been that the intestines soaked up most of the flavor as the intestines were much more flavor-packed, however, I enjoy a richer broth and this was slightly stronger than the seasoning you might get with some spicy noodle packet All that is to say, it wasn't the most impressive place but the intestines noodle dish was above satisfactory simply because it's a hard dish especially cleaning the intestines from having a gritty texture. I commend them for this alone, everything else are nitpicks for me but would definitely consider returning as they had some other dishes that caught my eye like their spicy beef noodle dish“

“I'm not as familiar with Chinese cuisine beyond the obvious, so I couldn't have found LanZhou without a recommendation from a friend. Thankfully I found it! Super fresh noodles in several shapes and sizes in so many sauces, or dry, or in a soup. I had the soup and was very pleased. I ordered a few other dishes from the pretty long menu for which I had no preconceived expectations at all, and they didn't impress like the noodles. My wife had the noodles in a saucy dish, which was also delicious. The atmosphere is brightly lit and colorful, and feels a little like fast food ambience, but the friendly, informative servers were fast and attentive, so that impression evaporated quickly. Nom nom!“

“We dined at Mandarin House Friday evening and thoroughly enjoyed our entire experience. The food was extraordinary and the staff made us feel as though we were guests in their own homes. Our two entrees were perfectly prepared with the sauces complementing the main ingredients instead of overwhelming them. The taste and texture of the accompanying vegetables were exceptional. We appreciate the attention to detail and caring attitude of the restaurant's dedicated team, and we will definitely return often.“

“Great, authentic food. If you like Panda Express, maybe don't go here but I personally think this is much better than Panda. They also sell milk tea boba! I was finally able to try this place after the students finished their finals and I've got to say I can see why this place is always busy. My only issue is that it's really expensive to eat here. They sell food by weight but it's easy to get over $15 for a plate. However, they hold happy hours during the week, so you get a slight discount there. Anyway, definitely recommended if you feel like splurging on a good meal!“

“The food was authentic and tasted great! The xiao long bao is one of the best I’ve ever had! Service was okay. You can’t really customize the food if it were for children. For example, we wanted the orange chicken but with the sauce on the side. They couldn’t do it or maybe they didn’t understand us but that’s okay. They could really improve by greeting you with a smile and thanking you as you walk out. A friendly demeanor is what I meant. We walked in right before dinner time so it was really busy right after we sat down and the place was a full house with lots of noise. Understandable, but overall, a good experience.“

“This place has just become number 1 in my list. We go to so many different places in a regular week and the meat at this place is so delicious, they deserve like 10 stars. Plus the charcoal BBQ is another game. Best dinner of the month so far. People working were also super nice and attentive. The local was clean and the atmosphere and music is good. I'm definitely looking forward to come back soon. Good job team!Edit to add:I was here yesterday again. Only two days after the first time and again I can o ly say that it is going to be incredibly difficult to find another Korean bbq that can top this one. I shouldn't say this much because the wait might get even longer but to be honest it is realllyyyy good and I can't get enough. I'll be back in another 2 days.“

“China Fusion was excellent! The food was delicious with generous portions at a really agreeable price! The cream cheese wontons and Szechwan Beef were my personal favorites. The Beef with Broccoli was tasty but didn’t seem as flavorful when up against the Szechwan Beef. The restaurant was spotless and had peaceful classical music playing. China Fusion deserves all the stars from service alone. I’ve never been somewhere where the staff was so thoughtful, so considerate. We were greeted and seated and brought bowls of egg drop soup while we were looking over the menu. They were quick to take our orders, get us food, fill our drinks. One server even pulled out a chair for me to put my bag when he saw me trying to get open it while holding an infant. They packaged our leftovers for us and gave us an extra fortune cookie. Just small, thoughtful acts that really impressed us. We absolutely plan on coming here again and again.“

“My wife and I go to Thai Pasta for lunch at least once a week. The food is great and the people there are friendly. They do a lot of take-out and Doordash orders, but not a lot of dine-in, so it is normally a nice, quiet place for lunch. The food arrives quickly if you need a quick lunch, but there is never a rush to leave.“

“Black bean noodle and deep-fried pork came out pretty fast. Both are delicious! The noodle is bouncy and chewy, the black bean sauce is sweet and not bitter at all. The tangsuyuk is crunchy and the sour sauce compliments it so well. This is a big serving for 2 people and it’s only $27. You can’t go wrong with this combo. 10/10“
“The restaurant space is quite cramped but the staff's ability to regulate customers is quite good, you don't have to wait too long if you don't book a table in advance. The food is very delicious, perhaps this is the reason many Koreans come to eat here.Parking: There is free parking right in front of the restaurant, but because the parking lot is inside the building, there is constant competition for parking spaces.“

“This is definitely not my first time here and I really don't know why it took me so long to write a review. So lazy! Anyways.. the service here is always amazing. They have a huge craft beer selection and wines I believe. I only come here for the food! We had the chow mein with beef, spring rolls, fried tofu, combination noodle soup with flat rice noodles and roasted duck noodle soup with thin rice noodles. Al were delicious. The roasted duck was flavorful and not oily. Love the clean taste of the broth. Can't ever go wrong with spring rolls. The tofu might have been a tad bit over fried but it's not gonna hinder this review. The chow men was delicious. The noodles were deep fried and it held the gravy well. When ever we are in the area we always stop by.“

Knowing that I was buying food to celebrate the lunar new year, she told me about a celebration in the nearby public library. “Didn’t know this place existed until I stumbled into Sieu Sieu BBQ restaurant while visiting another store in the same plaza. No frills restaurant but authentic Cantonese BBQ! When they were chopping the roast pig in pieces, I can hear the crispy sound of the skin. 3 hours at dinner time, the roast pig skin is still crispy and the meat was perfectly seasoned (not too salty)!!!Also got a salted chicken. It was cooked just right, no blood still in the bone. Meat was juicy and tender. They also gave a big container of ginger onion condiment for dipping sauce. Yummy!Price is still a little cheaper than other nearby BBQ stores. Plenty of parking spaces. This is the place for roasted pork and BBQ items. We will be back for more!“
“Really really tasty and authentic jajangmyeon. When I'm in the area grocery shopping I will make a special trip into Zion just to get noodles here. It's a cute little spot tucked away in a food court but don't be fooled - the quality and taste is superior to restaurant jajangmyeon! There's also a super nice guy at the register who genuinely wants to ensure everyone loves their food. He even checks with customers before they close to see if they need a box or want anything else!! If you want a hidden gem, this is it!“

“This place has really good dishes and some really bad one. Most reviews here mention their Salted pepper Chicken wings, and there's a reason for that. They are the best dish in the entire menu in my opinion, maybe even Mira mesa. 5 stars for sure. Their salted pepper squid, walnut shrimp, cream cheese wontons are also really good. But where they lost me was anytime, I ordered something crunchy that is coated in a sauce, such as orange chicken. There's just so much batter that just absorbs the sauce and it becomes a soggy unappetizing mess. Anything that is served in a broth/soup is completely bland and flavorless. This place has some really great food but also really bottom of the barrel dishes. Figure out what you like, and just stick to that. Other than that, Restaurant was clean, servers were nice and attentive.“

“Updated reviewCame here again a year later and I have to say the food is very good. Had the ox tail soup, curried fried rice, fried dumplings, sweet and sound shrimp, and king Lao chicken. Everything was very good, fresh, and came out quickly. Service is still hectic though.———-I really wanted to give this place a better rating because it is really the only halal Chinese spot in San Diego. The food was ok and the service was ok. But I probably would not come here again. We ordered a few different dishes but many of them tasted the same. The lamb cumin was very different than other lamb cumin I have tried. This one was like doused in cumin powder and didn’t have any red peppers which at other Chinese restaurants always do. The beef soup tasted like pure soy sauce, just full of sodium. The curry fried rice we ordered is not what we got. My friend said last time he came it had a yellow sauce on top, this time was just a normal fried rice dish. Not sure what’s going on there. The place was very busy but the service was fast and felt hectic. The owners really should hire at least one server and not try to do everything on their own. I really hope they can get better because it is a nice spot.“
