“I love this place, and I love the people who run this place. The food is amazing, full of amazing fusion flavor. But I think the experience of sitting with your friends and chatting with Bee and Wali, the owners, is great. They have a way of making you feel seen and special. It's honestly a wonderful place and really deserves to be checked out!“
“10/10Visiting from Vancouver and OH MY GOODNESSThe best food I’ve had in A WHILE!!!My recommendation:- gem salad Is so fresh, perfectly seasoned, amazing texture and so delicious it was the perfect appetizer!!!- tar tar was AMAZING. I recommend mixing it in the sauce before putting it onto the bread that is still warm when they bring it out to you, which is so good. The sauce is a little bit tangy and has a bit of spice, which is perfect and really brings out the taste of the tartar.- spicy Pomodoro pasta was so delicious. The sauce, pasta, and ricotta ratio was perfect.- sweetcorn agnolotti was also so delicious, it was sweet but not too sweet and it kind of pops in your mouth when you eat it and it was very tasty.- banana pudding tiramisu IS SOOOO DELICIOUSThe perfect texture, temperature and consistencyAnd it looks amazing as well. I wanted to get another one but honestly I had to refrain myself from getting two of everything.Highly recommend the food and dessert.Got the drinks too and it was good but didn’t stand out as much as everything else.“
“I’ve been going here since 2020 and the food is delicious. The lemon garlic chicken is our go to and they are always so generous with their hummus. Recently we tried the cauliflower fritters and it was delicious. We’ve been adding it to our rotation. I never had Palestinian food til going here and now I we have it at least twice a month.“
“I absolutely love Bacari Silverlake location! Not only is the atmosphere incredible but the customer service is exceptional. I was just there for my birthday on Tuesday night and my server Kevin went out of his way to make it seem like a special occasion and helped contribute to making my night memorable! Thank you so much Bacari and Kevin!“
“As far as vegan/vegetarian food, this is fairly elevated fare. The food is well-presented and the staff quite nice. The space is modern and sleek with an open kitchen. We were seated in a far corner, so it was difficult to get the staff's attention at times. The acoustics are noisy and also, the open kitchen created heat and smoke, so the atmosphere felt a bit close at times. Still a bit of a hidden gem here.“
“The place is gorgeous, especially if you love a nice terrace. The food... Is it because it's the only middle Eastern gluten free place, or is it because the ingredients are fresh, or is it because the preparation is perfect, or maybe it's all the small details... I think it's all of the above, one of the best middle Eastern places in LA, and the best gluten free one :) enjoy their manahish!“
“What am amazing space. The picture here does not do it justice. The menu is creative and everything was delicious. The drinks are primary Gin and Whiskey based and were strong. Definitely not for the weak at heart. I appreciated all the attention to detail. It's probably one of the most beautiful places to dine in LA.“
“When we lived in Paris, couscous was in our dining out high rotation. We walked by this restaurant by chance a few weeks ago, and it re-ignited our appetite for Moroccan cuisine. We went today and behold, a new habit is born!Excellent food, charming decor, and the most attentive service. Will definitely go back again and again. The couscous royal is delicious. The generous piece of lamb melts in your mouth and the spices they rub the chicken won me over, while I usually find chicken a rather boring meat. This place is a treasure, it inspires a sense of cozy legacy, as if it had always been there, but it opened only four years ago!“
“Had a fantastic dining experience at "Bowery Bungalow"! The food was exceptional, with a diverse menu and delicious flavors. The service was attentive and friendly, and the ambiance was inviting. Highly recommend for a memorable dining experience.“
“I hosted my bridal shower at La Boheme Banquet Hall & Restaurant this past weekend and I can’t say enough how happy I was with the experience. The banquet hall itself has been designed very well for a mid-sized event. I looked at many places to host my bridal shower but I could not find any that accommodated what I was looking for until I found La Boheme. The owner, Arthur, is an incredibly nice man and very helpful. He provided feedback and worked with me every step of the way to make sure everything turned out exactly as I had envisioned. Most importantly, the service and food was ABSOLUTELY amazing. The staff at La Boheme is extremely attentive to all the guests and very responsive to all their requests. I received so much positive feedback from my guests specifically complimenting the staff and the delicious food. My event was everything I envisioned and I want to thank once again the amazing owner and staff of La Boheme.“
“One of the best places to eat Middle Eastern food in Los Angeles is Sahara Restaurant in Pasadena! ? I've been coming here since the 90s. The kebabs, hummus, tabbouleh, and Greek salad are my absolute favorites. Everything I've ever tried here is made fresh, yummy, and super delicious. ? The staff is friendly and attentive to your needs. They have an open-concept kitchen, so you can see them cooking all the food when you order at the counter. ?️ My family and I usually like coming here to have lunch on Saturdays before 3:00 PM (they close from 3:00-5:00 PM Mon-Sat, then reopen from 5:00 - 8:00 PM for the dinner crowd, closed on Sundays). They have parking in the back and two spaces for parking on the side of the restaurant. It's a fantastic place to relax and enjoy delicious food with family and friends. I highly recommend it! ?Parking: They have parking in the back of the restaurnt and 2 parking spots on the side, check signs for street parking in front of the restaurantWheelchair accessibility: They have a door large enough to accomodate a wheelchair“
“I’m Swedish and I agree with everyone here, fantastic pizza and I was overjoyed that he serves PIZZA SALAD!!! The taste is exactly like in Sweden and I’m just amazed with how great this place is! Twelve of ten, will definitely be coming back!“
“Obsessed! Among a sea of fancy, loud pizza places in LA, Heirloom stands on their own merit. I drive quite a bit just to visit this spot. The pizza is fresh, balanced, and delicious, the place is comfy, and the owners are kind. My ONLY complaint is that they’re not open more often (I always crave them on Friday).“
“I was finally able to check off Kismet after months of passing by it after work. The food was delectable and distinctive, and the service was great. The tahdig/persian crispy rice and the roasted maitake mushrooms were our favorites of the night. My boyfriend and I thought that some dishes could tone down on the acidity (like the carrot side dish). Overall, it was a solid dinner, and we would certainly be back to try the other offerings and the dessert menu.“
“Delicious food and friendly service. Ordered to go, but ended up staying and eating in the patio area which has heat lamps. This place is small and no indoor dining. Will definitely go back!Parking: Street parking only in a crowded neighborhood.“
“10/10 recommend. So flavorful and delicious. It’s always busy and for good reason. My friend who joined me is vegetarian and said the falafel was to die for. My grilled chicken plate was perfect and the portions are great. Two meals in one!“
“Glad i found this spot the food is amazing and the guy (I think he may be the owner) at the register is such a nice guy with a great personality! Will be back soon. Oh about that pic, i forgot to take a picture when the food before I eat it!! “
“To start, everything was so delicious and fresh. The food was so delicious that we had about 7 different items off the menu because we had to try as much as possible. We had called ahead and told the owner group of 5 of us would be dining. Once we arrived we were immediately taken to our table. The owner had already set the table with a couple of starters. We had sliced goat cheese, Mediterranean salad, and yogurt with fresh bread. We were given some time to enjoy our starters before the main dishes started coming out. We had the perfect amount of time between each course to truly enjoy our time. One dish was more delicious than the next with the complex seasoning and spices. The owner of the restaurant checked on us once in a while, which I thought was really nice as well. The restaurant has its own parking in front of the. It also offers indoor and outdoor seating. I would highly recommend you give this restaurant a try. In my opinion, the best Mediterranean food I have had.“
“We highly recommended. We’re coming here almost three years now . From high quality food up to customer service is the best by far in comparison. No where in Pasadena restaurant I can go for Mediterranean restaurant but “Mediterranean Grill” only. We keep coming back .Excellent and beyond expectation “
“Meals and memories are made here at Bianca’s deli. Bianca’s deli (est 1983) is a small Mediterranean deli cafe in East Hollywood. They serve fresh, healthy salads, wraps, sandwiches, panini and pasta. Furthermore, they offer good breakfast and coffee. They provide exceptional service and food. I came here over Lunch and ordered a Grilled chicken salad and a Pasta Primavera. Food was fresh and satisfying; portions were abundant for their modest price. Staff were assiduous, caring and professional.Overall, I enjoyed their service and food. I highly recommend this deli.“
“Fave spot in LA and order here at least 2-3x a week. Best, most creamiest hummus I’ve had in my life. Rice is cooked to perfection every time. Both their salads are delicious and refreshing, Tabouleh Oaxaca Salad is a must try. Taco plate with chicken and cauliflower is my go-to. Everything is fresh and packed with flavor. Prices are affordable/reasonable and portions are perfect. Owners are super friendly and you can tell they put a lot of care and passion into their food.Dietary restrictions: Vegan and vegetarian friendly.Parking: Has its own parking lot. About 7 spaces.“
“Amazing, fresh, flavorful food. I've always had a great meal here...lunch takeout and also catering for a small party. I highly recommend all of their kebabs, the mujadara platter and the fattoush salad. The owner is soo nice, always gives me a bottle of water when I pickup my order.Today, I got the fattoush salad, grilled chicken breast kebab, and the ground beef kebab. The kebabs come with some nice accoutrements...pickles, pepperoncini peppers, and cucumber. Soo delicious. This place is a neighborhood gem.“
“I lived in koreatown my whole life and i hate that i never tried this place until today. Food was so good here. I thought chicken would be dry just like other kabob places i go but this was the best chicken kabob i ever had. All their other plates were so delicious. I would recommend to everyone.“
“All I have to say is this: There is another Mediterranean/Mexican fusion in another part of East Los. THAT place gets a .25 of a star compared to this gem. Do yourself a favor. If you want that Mex/Med fusion you HAVE to come here. I had the Kebab burrito w/chile rojo and it's been on my mind ever since.“
“This is a little hole in the wall kabob shop in Glendale. What's interesting is when you're driving down the street, there are so many kabob places and we chose this one based on some reviews that we saw and the fact that it look like a mom and pop shop and it was! I love supporting small businesses and the people working behind the counter were so helpful and kind. I'm pretty sure the wife was the one that served us and she was particularly helpful and delivered excellent service. We shared a mixed kabob plate that ended up enough for both of us! The meat was super moist and flavorful, especially I took note of the chicken breast which often can be dry. I would highly recommend this place!“
“I’ve had a great experience here every time I’ve visited. Amazing food, chill vibes, generally good prices. I’m quite stuck on the Armenian cold brew they have as well. Also a decent place to have wine with a friend if you’re into that sort of thing. The lentil soup & everything on the menu is so fresh & tasty!“
“Visit was Birthday treat from daughter, who ordered for us inside while I waited at one of the couple of tables outside. We ate outside (had doggie with us), so can't speak for Service or Atmosphere. I can say that my meal (Lamb, rice, salad, babaganoush, pitta) was hot and delicious. Would absolutely go again and recommend.Parking: Small parking lot, and next door to cafe on one side and Laundromat on other so parking could be an issue. Side streets had plenty of spaces.“
“We had some delicious shawarma platters! The number of combinations you can make with the sides and upgrade to the fattoush salad is great. We had one chicken shawarma platter with rice, babaganoush, and labneh and one chicken shawarma platter with fattoush salad, garlic paste, and pita chips. All of it was very tasty. The garlic Toum was particularly good, as was the fattoush salad. Each platter comes with two thin pitas (the best kind). The shawarma was a more stewed chicken with onions and tomatoes than the usual kind of dry shredded off the skewer but it was so flavorful! Maybe best not to get it on rice because the ice absorbs all the liquid. We also got a cilantro jalapeno hummus that had a tiny bit of a kick. Everything was good, and the people were very friendly. We will have to come back to try more things!“
“There is not very much seating in the inside and it's a very small space. Luckily it was a nice day outside, so we ate there. The Lulu plate was very good. Great seasoned beef matched perfectly with the rice. The chicken gyro was just okay. I like having tzatziki sauce in the gyro and it was not present. Instead, they make theirs with a sauce similar to mayonnaise, so I don't recommend that unless you prefer a more mayo flavor. Overall, good service and sizeable portions.“
“This is an absolutely no frills restaurant with about 5 items on the menu, but they do them well. The monta (aka manti, mante) is the star of the show. Unlike other places that take a shortcut by using wonton skins, this place makes the dough from scratch and it really makes a difference. In addition to the baked monta, they also do a soup version in either tomato or yogurt. Their sou boereg ( Armenian cheese lasagna) is good also. All monta is cooked to order, so it does take a few minutes for your order to be ready, but it's totally worth the wait. Have an appetizer while waiting. You can also visit their sister restaurant in Pasadena, though it's tiny with only two tables on the sidewalk.P.S. I read some reviews saying that monta is supposed to be made with phyllo dough. Uh, no. I helped my mom and grandma make monta from scratch and they use the same dough you'll find here. And I was born in Lebanon, my grandmother was a Genocide survivor. So they know how to make it.“
“Every time we come here the food and service are excellent, wonderful chicken and shish kebabs...hummus is creamy, to die for, the pita is wonderfully grilled to perfection and the right amount of crispy and soft. The seasoning is perfect, the portions are amazing you will not go home hungry! we come here often and the wait staff are always amazing, very nice and helpful. theres a lot of Mediterranean and Armenian places here in Glendale but this place should definitely be on your radar if you're looking for a great place just beyond the hustle of downtown Glendale.“
“This is a great lil joint hiding away in a not often traveled part of DTLA. It’s a small and cozy spot but the food they cook up is delicious and very good portion sizes. Nothing is crazy overpriced and the flavors of everything are spot on. We got the beef and chicken lule combo and lamb chop combo and loved it all. The char and flavor of the chops and lule was amazing. Plus the rice that comes with it was cooked perfect and I love that it comes with a sumac seasoning to add. Would definitely go back and recommend“
“Been coming here since I was a little girl. My dad would drive all the way from San Diego to pick up the amazing food for us. It's been years since we've headed up to this area, but today we returned and the food hasn't changed one bit! Everything was delicious, fresh, and made with love!!! The staff (the owners) were so kind and helpful! Can't wait for my next trip!!!!“
“We've been going here for years - well before they moved to their current home at Lemon Poppy Cafe. The food has always been a treat - nourishing to the palate as well as simply feeling like home. The staff are wonderful, and the food they prepare is honest and refreshing, and portioned nicely. Happy to have them in the neighborhood, and hope they continue to shine a Romanian light on our neck of the woods for years to come.“
“The team here is great. I had the pleasure of hosting a party here in December, they allowed me to book the entire place for the night with full service and entertainment. The owners treat you like family and make sure you have the best experience. Their pricing is also so fair, it's hard to believe how good it is. They were very flexible to what I wanted the party to look alike and accommodated as needed. I wish I had better pictures of the initial time of the party, but here's what I could find. The food was a hit with my guests, everyone said their kabob was great. I personally loved all the side dishes too!“
“Let's see,- no-frills taco and kabob joint,- food is pretty dang good- they are not playin' with their red sauce. My mouth is on FIRE but it hurts so good... can't get enough.- they did just recently (Nov 2023) raise their prices, but it's still competitive. just LAST month it was a crazy good deal. now it's a pretty good deal.- service is usually really fast.“
“This is the best Turkish food in town. The quality of the food is great. Everything is fresh, The portions are pretty big. My favorites are Sultan Delight and Adana kabab. Their Baba ganouj is the best in LA. It's not heavy. They have a small area where you can eat but it's mostly takeout. This place is literally a hidden gem.“
“I love this restaurant! I eat here (or order from them on a delivery app) at least once a week, sometimes more. This is my absolute favorite restaurant. I highly recommend the chicken and filet combo plate. I can't say enough about this restaurant! The owners are nice, and always remember me.“
“I had a list of 10 Mediterranean places to go to lunch with my friend in Pasadena and I am glad I narrowed it down to this one. Now, I was a little weary about the food coming out as soon as we were paying BUT the food was pretty amazing. This just tells me that they are super efficient during lunchtime on a Saturday! The food was very flavorable and they have the best garlic spread I have ever eaten in my entire life! We will definitely be back! Not pictured here but don't miss out on the tzatziki either!“
“Pleasant experience having lunch here today. I went along with my husband as we were doing some business in the area. The spicy cheese beorek was the highlight of our lunch although the Armenian pizza was also great. I will definitely use again.“
“The Shawarma taste both chicken, and the beef are scrumptious specifically, the garlic sauce is amazing, I took the 24 plate cuz there is 12 and 24 so I got the 24. It’s more than enough for two people and the price is more than reasonable. Keep going guys. Thank you so much.“
“My Bookclub had a Wonderful meeting & and delicious meal at this lovely Family owned restaurant. There were 12 of Us Ladies & we were treated So Well! Our Server Lily was Efficient, Friendly & Helpful! Our Food came out Timely & Hot! Mmm!We All Loved the Hummus, Eggplant, & Cucumber dip w/pita to start. Oh, the Grape leaves were the Best I ever had! Yum!My Cornish he Kabob was so tender & flavorful! Our entire group were full & satisfied.I even ordered both the Lamb & Beef kabob dinners to take home. And of course more Hummus & cucumber dip.I feel the prices were reasonable & the service impeccable!“
“This marks my third order from Anwar's within a single month. The freshness and flavors are beyond description. Were it possible to rate with more hands, I'd award additional stars without hesitation. Concluding my review, dining here feels akin to receiving a warm invitation into someone's home, where the meal is served with genuine love.“
“If you want a true home cooked experience, you have to go to Caravan. I started coming here a year ago and now it is my go to for a hearty meal with my family and of course delightful conversations with the owners and staff. You will walk in there a customer but leave as a member of their family. Always remember to support mom/pop business!!!!“
“This was my first time here and the experience was excellent. I was greeted by a nice lady who helped me. I had a few questions about the menu and she walked me through all the options. I ordered chicken barg and beef koobideh with the creamy potatoes, mast musir and Armenian salad. I also had a side of hummus and pita. Everything was fresh, high quality, well portioned and above all delicious! The meal was delicious. I can’t wait to go back and try different things there. Loved the food, value was spot on and the ambiance was so cute plus it was spotless clean. I’m glad to have such a quality restaurant so close by!“
“We visit Salt & Olive anytime we visit Glendale. It is our absolute favorite atmosphere! Customer service is superb as well as their music. Most importantly, the quality of food is beyond words - never disappoints. *chefs kiss* ?☺️“
“Took a take out after reading their reviews and a long day at universal studios. The portion was a lot but the chicken was dry not soft and juicy unlike other Mediterranean joints.Their chicken wraps were good though. We were visiting the studios so stopped here on last day for dinner take out.“
“Pardis is a great Glendale option for Persian Food. The ambiance is inviting, the interior is modern clean, and the tables are spacious. The food and service are good, and the menu choices are plenty. The tadig and ghorme sabzi are a must. When you are craving Persian Food, Pardis is a good choice!“
“I felt like I was transported to Tumanyan street in Yerevan. The shawerma was fresh and delicious. The staff was insanely friendly, despite looking like they might be part of a tracksuit mafia. The Armenian soap opera playing on the giant flat screen was simply the gigantic cherry on top. Highly recommend this place of you want an authentic Yerevan experience, in every sense of the word.“
“We were looking for a Mediterranean spot near us via Google maps search and I was surprised that I never noticed this spot before (we come to the Sprouts next door on occasion). So, the place doesn't stand out, but the reviews seemed reasonable, so off we went. Wow! The food presentation alone put a smile on my face (pic is after I had eaten some already). Happy to say that everything tasted just as wonderful - fresh, light, tasty. My husband was impressed with the tenderness and flavor of both the chicken and beef. He had the beef kabob with humus, for our 3 year old I ordered the kids chicken kebab with rice (thumbs up for having a kid's menu!), and I had one of their specials - lentil fried rice sans meat.Apart from the food, the owner (I believe) who took our order and the cook who also served us were great. Neither overly friendly or impatient, they were a pleasure to be serviced by. They look you in the eye when speaking, are accommodating, polite, professional. Makes a difference, big time. All that to say that this hole-in-the-wall restaurant has made it to our go-to list. We'll be back agin and again as long as they're here.Kid-friendliness: They have a great kid's menu, decent portion.“
