“Been here a couple of times and the food is good and consistent. It's never overcrowded and the food is ready fairly quick. I was going to go for the reaper level hot but they wanted me to sign a waiver so I passed. I think I will go for it next time. I usually get the two sliders and fries. The pickles are always crisp and fresh. Good food and service all the way around.“

“Mashaallah started out as a food truck but now has a stall in the food court of Westfield San Francisco. Despite its humble appearance, this small business offered some of the best Pakistani food I've had in the city from its steam table of freshly-prepared meat and vegetable curries. A star dish here (which came recommended by Soleil Ho) was the Lamb Korma, made of super tender, lean, meaty chunks of lamb in a spiced curry. On my combination plate, I also got the Chana Masala (chickpea curry) and the Palak Paneer (cheese cubes in a velvety puréed spinach sauce), served along with rice. Every item was delicately spiced and flavorful without being too salty, and the garnishes of raw onion and cilantro brought out the freshness of the dishes. On the side, I also had an order of Garlic Naan (another star item), which was perfectly soft and chewy and had a wonderful flavor and aroma from the garlic and herbs. Overall, the food here was absolutely delicious, and the owners were so friendly and hospitable too!“

“My friend recommended this place to me. The place is fairly simple and clean. You order at the counter. There are a few tables for you to dine in, but I find most people order to take out.I like the Simurgh kebab sandwich. The kebabs were delicious but what stood out for me was the Turkish bread. It's not like anything I've had before. It is grilled, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It is probably my favorite sandwich bread now. They make them all from scratch.I've only been there twice, but it's a place I would return again.“

“Let's get straight to business... how was the food? 10/10. I got the Golden Burrito with steak. It was amazing! I let the staff know it was our first time trying it and they went into detail of how to enjoy it best with the different sauces they have available. It's also in a good safe part of town and provides clean indoor seating. Definitely coming here more often to try different items on the menu.“

“The best wrap I’ve had in the entire East Bay. The people here are genuine with the food even more authentic. I made it a point to u-turn and stop by last night. The team behind the counter really just mean business. No frills, just order your food and take in the normal buzzy gas station energy. “Do yourself a favor and run don't walk! The Karahi is made to perfection with slow cooked meat and pieces of ginger that give a nice textured spice to the dish. The Chicken biryani has caramelized onions folded in for pockets of sweetness. The chicken Makhni is a classic butter chicken that never misses. Their cheese Naan is gooey and delicious! I've ordered delivery and dined in before with no change in quality.“

“Was walking home and needed to have a late night dinner. This place was conveniently placed on my way back to Richmond. I ordered the bullseye burger and it really hit the spot. The portion was on point. Lettuce, tomato, onion, jalapeño, beef bacon, and a perfectly cooked, juicy halal beef patty on a substantial and voluminous bun. The best part was that the burger was accompanied by a generous heaping pile of shoestring fries :) I’m also glad I ordered the honey garlic wings to go. Let me keep the original fruit that they made, and they made me new food and had me pay for the additions and I recommend this place!!!! “If you know me, you know that I am half-Sudanese (Northern Sudan) and half-Egyptian. I moved here over a decade ago, and it was hard to find Sudanese food until I came across Z Zoul. The restaurant is a haven of warmth, cleanliness, and comfort. When I entered, I immediately felt like I was back home, thanks to the delicious aromas and the warm welcome I received from Arif. Aref served us the best homemade Sudanese food that brought back fond memories of my dad and family. The taste of the food and how it was presented just brought tears to my eyes. After the sumptuous meal, we ordered hibiscus drink (Karkade), which was the perfect finale. The food is very reasonably priced, and you get a generous portion for the price. If you've never tried Sudanese food, I highly recommend Z Zoul. My husband, who had never tasted Sudanese food before, and my son can't remember the goodness of Sudanese food. “I stopped here out of curiosity to after getting items from Arizmendi and Los Cantaros Taqueria. I got the Honey Cake slice, chocolate baklava, and pistachio almond cookies (gluten free). Hatice the owner is very friendly and answered any questions I had. The Honey Cake was amazing, just the right amount of sweetness, not too much. I ate up the cake and baklava but shared the cookies. My family members said the cookies were great. I'll try to arrive before 12noon another time to get their breakfast items, like the egg in the hole. This will be one of my new go to places for food.“

I am from out of town, so sadly I won’t be able to come here again unless I decided to take another trip to the Bay Area.The Rogan Josh was cooked to perfection, with tender chunks of meat simmered in a rich and aromatic sauce that had just the right balance of spices. “My wife and I went to Pizza Twist, Hercules with a friend who is gluten intolerant. We were delighted to have ordered two Gluten Free Pizzas (Cauliflower crust). One was Veggie Tandoori Paneer Pizza Twist and the other one was Chicken Tikka Masala. These were the most delicious pizzas we had in a long time. The new owners were very friendly. “Gosh, I absolutely LOVE Sajj. It is so quick, perfect when you're in a rush, but still want something yummy and healthy. Think mediterranean-style Chipotle. I love the chicken shawafel or pomegranate chicken bowl. Every single topping on there is a perfect fit. I usually get all the spreads and can't choose a favorite. You can't go wrong with the toppings, but I usually add the sumac cauliflower, onions, cucumbers, cherry peppers, arugula, and mint leaves, finished off with either the spicy tahini or cilantro mint chutney. I know some people love the lentil soup. The baklava is so flaky and nutty. Most of the locations I've been to are clean and nicely decorated. The staff is helpful and pack on the toppings on your bowl. I absolutely LOVE Sajj, I even have a loyalty/newsletter (which I almost never do). Definitely recommend.“

“Finally got around to trying this place for lunch, and kicking myself for not coming sooner. I got the chicken shawarma plate, and it was so good. The chicken was really delicious, the rice was seasoned very well, the hummus was great, and even the little salad had a super tasty dressing. The service was super quick and friendly. I got my food to-go, but they had some comfy looking chairs if you wanted to eat there. Definitely coming back here. “I've been meaning to try Dave's Hot Chicken for awhile after seeing their LA and Denver locations! Went to a show at the Paramount Theater and walked over to Dave's. The menu is pretty simple with their different order packages (Sliders/ tenders with sides). Went for the number 2 which comes with 2 sliders and a side of fires. It's cool you can pick two different spice levels for each slider! Got the Mild and Hot to try ($16 total). The Hot is bearable and you won't be dying for water (it's Extra Hot or higher that will get you to that burn feeling!) You can also order some of their sauce and honey to add on to your sliders and it's bomb! The fries are also cooled perfectly (and you can immediately dig right in without it burning your fingers or tongue). I'd definitely come back here!“

“A thank you shout out to Oasis Grill on Drumm Street. They catered our event which was held on Treasure Island a few days. I requested catered Veggie Mezza platter, Salmon platter and Chicken Shawarma (in quantity). The food was ready for pick up at the time specified and the lovely lady behind the counter helped me bring all of my goodies to my car. EVERYEONE loved the food. I would say the one thing I should have order more: Falafels. I did not get one, but next time! We catered for at least 30 people and we still had leftovers. Thank you Oasis Grill.
