“A toast to the New Year! What could be better than wine? A winery review, perhaps. Rancho Guejito opened its doors to the public five years ago.The property is made up of estate grapes and a grass-fed cattle ranch . The 32,000 acre rancho is part of a land grant from Mexico to the United States. The winery and vineyard offer tastings, which can be waived with a wine club membership. The cattle ranch provides for a portion of the food served on- site and they offer a meat program to take home. This has become my new favorite local spot to enjoy on the weekend. What is there not to like? Unique Varietals Wine Club (many benefits) Food On-Site Meat Program (beef variety) Live Music Hayrides (with wine pours) Open Seating Holiday Markets (change with each season) and Pet Friendly! I love their wines, my favorite is the red, Terret Noir. I love their meat, we make baja dogs and pot roasts. And, I love their atmosphere on-site, picnic tables spread out, music in the air and the hayride is sure to be a highlight for all Note: The markets here have an array of quality vendors. The Christmas market example included everything from honey, paint your own ornaments to photos with Santa! Cheers to the New Year! #RanchoGuejito # SanPasqualValley #TerretNoir #BeansandHanks #OnA HayrideTogetherWithYou“
“Their food is decadent and amazing. Their staff, a wonderful group. Never need to ask for anything. Their wine ? spectacular. This is a very small place. Reservations recommended. Don't miss out on the best Italian Cuisine in North County. Price $$$“
“A constant place of gathering for my coworkers and I who worked in the San Elijo Area. This time we met on a weekend for brunch. I ordered a Pannikin coffee and Cinnamon Toast French Toast. Really thick slices of French Toast, I’m kinda weird and prefer thin slices but this was still good. Others got an omelette or a wrap. Everyone like their food, service was nice, bit pricey but in line with the local restaurants.“
“Glad to be able to have authentic Italian in my neighborhood. Celebrated my mom's birthday. I always order carpaccio di manzo, and calamari fritti. It was rainy Monday at 6:30. The restaurant was very crowded. Recommend to make a reservation.“
“A complete gem! North County is an outstanding source for all things wine, but even better is their boutique wine bar to have a glass with friends or the owner. Like a small Napa winery without the vineyard. Jim is beyond friendly, knows everything there is to know about wine without being snooty. The perfect fit for the neighborhood and for San Diego. Best alternative to the big box wine store. I love the little outdoor patio, and especially like sitting up at the quaint bar with my girlfriend. She likes the huge selection of wines. A must during Christmas and the holidays, but even better throughout the year because you can pop in for a minute or just relax for hours.“
“Our first time visiting this place. We went last Saturday night to watch the “Horseshoe Lucky Band”. This place was spacious and had several breweries offering a variety of drinks at reasonable prices, an urban winery, and burger joint. Enjoyed listening and dancing to country music.“
“I had a very pleasant experience at Rosina's last night! We had a group of 6 for my nephews birthday. Our waiter, Colin, was sweet and attentive. Parking is street and they do have a side lot. It was busy even on a Wednesday so we walked a little but not far at all. The bread is delicious with the dipping sauce. We started with the arancini which I recommend! They are slightly smaller than I'm used to, so get 2 orders if you have a bigger party. I had the fusilli aka vodka with chicken and gluten free pasta. The G Free pasta is better than what I usually make at home, which was a major plus! I really couldn't tell the difference. Everyone enjoyed their meals! A great experience! Oh, and Wednesday is half priced bottles of wine!“
“What a little gem! This place instantly turned into our favorite Italian restaurant in the area. The 2-pasta meal is perfect to try things you can't decide between. And everything was done really nicely! The cream sauces are fantastic.“
“Due to a move and other factors, I hadn't been to The Cork and Craft for several years. I took some friends on Saturday 4/13 and had another excellent experience. The ambience is stellar, the food was delicious (Nashville hot chicken sandwich, salmon poke, seared salmon) and the service was top notch. The star of the evening was Gavin H. He is young, engaging and witty. And he didn't miss a beat (homemade potato chips aside!)“
“Carvers is one of our favorite restaurants It is a hidden secret near Von's in Rancho Bernardo. My husband lives the pork Chops & I love the filets or the Prime Rib. In the bar, they have weekend musics & they make a great burger“
“Being vegetarian for most of my life, I've tried many different Greek restaurants. Greek Corner Cafe (in Carmel Mountain) is AMAZING. My first time here & I tried the vegetarian combo plate ---> Everything, I mean everything on this plate was DELICIOUS! I can write in detail per item why, but you have to try this place for yourself. The service was awesome. Both servers, he & she, were friendly & had a very kind, gentle demeanor. I like that! The cook also came to see how I was enjoying my food & he too had the same disposition. Such sweet people. The ambience, I can appreciate. I've never been to Greece but they had Greek decor, a Greece mural, & played Greek music.Overall my fav Greek restaurant to-date! And the best Greek restaurant I'd say, in San Diego. A must-try! ... I'll be back.“
“Tried this restaurant on a short trip to San Diego. Only service complaint is that it took about 40 minutes from seating to having the first dish arrive. Had the following. Scores are out of 10. 1. Parker House Roll - 7/10. I really don't know what they are supposed to taste like, but have seen them on a few menus in San Diego so thought I would try it. The top of the roll had a nice crispiness and flavor. The interior of the roll was a little dense, but maybe that's what it is supposed to be. And it really is just ONE roll. It was large, but a bit pricey ($10) for one roll. 2. Kanpachi Crudo - 0/10. This is labeled as a "crudo" but it was smoked or something. Not a good flavor at all. 3. Raviolo - 10/10. Yummy! exactly as described with nice shavings of truffle. 4. Duck Breast - 9/10. Perfect except slightly overcooked. 5. Whole Roasted Branzino - 10/10. Just as described and delicious.“
“Absolutely fantastic food at very, very reasonable prices. The mozzarella di bufala is fresh, the antipasti were fantastic, and the pizzas were out of this world. Gregorio (the owner) was welcoming and took great care of our group of 9, even staying open past closing. Don’t miss this place!Kid-friendliness: Extremely kid friendly.“
“After attending a comedy show, saw an ad for this place with a discount code so we decided to check it out. My boyfriend and I each got mead drinks (his was something red and margarita esque; mine was blue). Then we got to sit down and mess around with the massive selection of games, encouraged by the friendly bartender. It was just such a chill spot to unwind and be present with each other. After finishing our drinks, we got to wander the gallery and see a wide variety of art, some to our taste, some not but all worth enjoying.“
