“I've been to many burger spots in my life, but I've never had a burger as good as the Chef Burger from Burger Bun. I'm talking perfectly seasoned beef, and delicious (but not overpowering) burger sauce, crisp vegetables, and the brioche bun is spectacular. There's no burger in Glendale that even comes close. The wings are also some of the best I've ever had and the homemade sauces are so, so tasty. The fries are perfect, and they have amazing milkshakes too. To top it all off, the service is ridiculously good, and the prices are fair. This is my go-to spot in town.“

Portion size was very good for the price. Teokbokki size was huge. The service is very good .Very kind staff and customer friendly. I loved the ambience and the local Korean vedios running in the television which made me feel like I was in South Korea. The staff gave us miso soup as complimentary which I really appreciate. “My 10-year-old son has been rating burgers around LA for the past couple of years, and we’ve tried a lot...from fast food to steakhouses, including plenty of the viral burger spots. Ever since his first visit to OG Smash Burger, he’s insisted it’s his favorite.

He has a little OG Smash shrine on the wall next to his desk and even designed and 3D printed a coaster using a photo he took of the menu. He also named our competitive duos team in Rocket League “OG Smash” as a tribute. That’s how much this kid loves this place.

We’ve been several times, and the burgers are consistently great. The staff is always friendly, too. We don’t live close, but we make the trip whenever we can. With all the burgers we’ve tried, OG Smash is still his number one.“

“I truly like Yaki’s and the way the food is prepared. If you’re under 21, you probably won’t notice much difference, and to be fair, the flavors are good. I’m writing this simply as constructive feedback — it’s completely up to you whether you want to act on it or not.

I still enjoy Yaki’s, but I only eat here a couple of times a year now because I personally have a harder time digesting some of the current ingredients.

The reality is that people in this area are willing to pay more for higher-quality beef and cleaner ingredients, especially in La Crescenta. The neighborhood has changed a lot — it’s no longer the same immigrant community it was in the 1990s with lower-cost housing. Today, it’s become a much more affluent area with higher expectations around food quality.

It’s also worth noting that La Crescenta locals have not traditionally supported fast-food style chains. Businesses like McDonald’s, Burger King, Pizza Hut, and Papa John’s didn’t last here for a reason. Residents generally avoid fast-food quality and prefer better ingredients.

I genuinely believe Yaki’s could be even more successful and stand out for another decade and beyond by upgrading just a couple of things — better quality beef for the bowls and higher-quality (possibly organic) hot dogs for Bulldog. With that small change, this place could be next level for the area

“If you're craving savory, sweet, spicy, crunchy, or all of the above- head to El Munchies! Lola was great. She recommended some things and was patient with us while we decided. Cool vibes, quick service- come on by! We ordered: Cookie ice cream sandwich (you pick what cookies and ice cream), Tostilocos, Esquite with Hot Cheetos, Elote with Hot Cheetos. “We arrived shortly after closure asking if they were open . The employee ( maybe manager ) cleaning up said they were closed and we walked away disappointed . The man called my husband over as we were walking away and gave him a leftover pretzel at no charge since he had no cash. Definitely made our night ?“

I saw them with my food order. And they had it for a while. My app said it was ready about 9 minutes prior. But I wasn't sure if there really was my order because I thought since this worker was by the drive-thru window, maybe it was for someone else. And then she finally came up to me saying , or rather asking me if I'm waiting for an order? I told them yes it was that one that they had in the hand and they had it there with them for a while.
