Great Filipino restaurant in LA. Service was superb, the food was very tasty but the calamansi juice was by far my fave!! So good! Definitely will eat here again when we visit LA again!! Highly recommend Max's!
Came here on a referral from a friend. We came in a group, were seated and honestly. The customer service at the counter was great! But when we got to our table the waiters were not so great. They seemed to be annoyed helping us. Anyways on to the food. I was told their fried chicken was the star of their menu. Not! No flavor and blah. Tried all of the other dishes and meh. I came here for dinner with a craving for Filipino food and I was not disappointed. Max's fried chicken is just wonderful if you like well-seasoned fried chicken with skin that is crispy, but not heavily battered then you are in luck. The lechon sisig was very tasty and with some lemon on top and with some garlic rice, it is a flavor bomb in your mouth.
