“Let's start off love the layout of this place very cool calm and collective atmosphere local atmosphere. The plating was very nice and aesthetic. The service was quick and attentive. You can get onto the waitlist on Yelp which I love. Biscuits n Gravy - 6/7 it was super filling and I would've appreciated they went easy on the sausage bits. It felt like a soup. But it was tasty and a different take on it. Side of eggs, SUPER SALTY Benedict - 7 the taste was ok, pork belly was a bit small and didn't go well with the benedict very well could've been better as far as pairing it together. The pancakes were 10/10 which is was the upside of our brunch light, fluffy and not too sweet and yummy fruits!“

“I like this place. They have a great wine selection and their charcuterie and small plates are delicious. The Marcona almonds are well flavored/seasoned. The olives are also well-marinated. Their meat board contains delicious selections of cured meats and cheese with some sweet jam. All of these items pair nicely with their Chilean red, which is a reasonably priced and tasty bottle. I've only eaten inside but they have a nice patio in the back. The inside is dim and cozy. This is a great spot for a date night or a night out with friends. It's not cheap by any means, but they deliver solid service, food, and wine. Enjoy!“

“3rd visit - Obsessed! Innovate cuisine and meticulous cocktails at the level everywhere else wishes they could. Negroni - All time fav because the bitter punches hard (sometimes too hard). This is the best I've had! Bitter and sweet balance exquisitely - not brusque. Crispy Potatos - Well done, but makes you wonder if size is right. Close to being a french fry - but large! Crispy outside, soft inside, well seasoned. Mildly curious aioli pair well. Not perfect. Maybe needs another sauce? Seared Hokkaido Scallops - Scared green curry would overpower delicate scallops, but texture remains in tact. Curry pulls out creaminess. Delicate, but flavorful. Warm and clean. Scallion paratha is so necessary to give heavy depth! Cheesecake - Yooo!! Creme Brule is my fav and this is rivaling it! Bright and tart while velvety with deep. Not heavy! You'll regret not getting. Martini - A must every visit! I love olives, but tried lemon this time and loved how big of a difference it made! Excited to try gibson/onion next!“

“Most excellent experience and food was perfect. We had the duck eggrolls and the ricotta stuffed squash blossoms as starters, both had a delish specialty drink. I had the house burger with 3 different meats ground in including wagyu. Was done perfectly med rare. No room for dessert this time. Will def go back. Service was nice, we sat at the bar. All in all a great experience.“

“Pretty good! I would go back to share with my other crew. Your fresh pasta dishes are good! The lobster pappardelle is really good! I want an order to myself! haha. Your mushroom fungi trecce is good. I don't like creamy sauce but this one is good. Hard to find a good bolognese pasta, but this one is good. The hamachi is good, nice tempura element. Lobster roll is excellent!! The family loves the lamb chops!! I am not a dessert person but your sticky toffee pudding is good!!“

“One word to describe this establishment AMAZING! I'm going to be a regular here for sure. The owner greeted me as soon as I walked in and asked if I had any questions about the menu. I already knew what I wanted to order so I went for it. I sat and talked to the owner while waiting for my food and he told me how he started his business and about his passion for cooking. Customer service was great! I have told everyone I know about this place. The food was a hit! Everything I ordered was good!“

Walter was the kindest and most helpful worker i've ever met. I've never left a review on yelp, but I could not have Walter go unnoticed. Truly a kind soul who cares about his customers. “Didn't want to be stuck in traffic for over 2.5 hrs to get home, so I decided to come here and grab a drink, watch some games, and let the traffic die down. They have minimal parking on the street but a large parking lot to the back. I was the first one here for at least an hour, which was really nice. They got televisions all over the place. So no matter where you sit, you get a good view of the game. They got some upbeat music playing loudly over the speakers. Some real head bangers!! Got me tapping my foot and bobbing my head!! It's somewhat dark, but well lit with all the neon signs and tvs. The booths were also really comfy. The waitress I had was amazing. Super nice. Checked on me frequently, since I was the only one there for a while. Very conversational. Great at small talk, so thanks. Knew the menu well. They have daily happy hours of beers, some food. And being a Tuesday, it was taco Tuesday!!!! Tacos were $2.50 each. I ordered one of each and they came out early quick. Feels like the ones you get right off the streets of LA (in a good way). Lots of protein. Packed with toppings. Double tortillas. More sauce on the side. They were all really good!! I had a couple of their beers. Had one on tap, an IPA, as well as another one in a bottle. Vibes here are really cool. It was nice just to sit back, kind of put my feet up and chill. Everyone was super nice. Upon request they can turn on the volume of any of the games. Unfortunately, someone requested the soccer game to be played on blast. Which killed the music. But I had been there a good 1.5 hrs by then, and I guess that was my cue to leave. And it only took an hr and 10 min to get home, mission accomplished!!“

“I always buy togo, this time I sat down and ordered appetizer, Bison Meatlove main course, Red Wine and Triple Chocolate Mouse dessert. Loaded Potatoes Hush Puppies Good portion, you can feel the flavors, but the tapatio sauce, being very strong, reduces the flavor of the potato, bacon, jack and cheddar cheese and green onions. Bison Meatloaf Incredible, excellent, tasty, perfect. I came for the Bison Burger, but this dish with puree and spinach is excellent. Just one BBQ Sauce is very strong and kills the great flavors. Triple Chocolate Mousse So so Service to serious, not to friendly...“

“I came here with my family after a visit to universal and it was a hit! Something for everyone- I got the veggie burger with sweet potato fries... delicious!! The service was great. Kat found out it was my first time here and she took the time to explain the menu and even gave suggestions on the sauces that would pair well with my meal. She was kind, quick and friendly! Give Kat a raise! The place was located in a convenient location with a nice ambiance and the bathrooms were clean! Super important for a public establishment especially a food place. I'd eat here again and recommend to others.“
“This is what happens when you support shitty businesses like Tendergreens studio city. Mazza actually had great food, nice ambiance, kind staff, and good music too. They didn't deserve to close! We need to do better. Never forgiving this community for actively supporting the business next door that has numerous health issues and bad service. I hope Mazza can come back one day.“

“We were greeted by our server comma bartender Nick. He was friendly helpful and Johnny on the spot. The Ambiance was very nice. We really enjoyed the feel of the place and all of the people that we encountered were very friendly. The food was fairly average for what we had. I should say for what I had my wife really did enjoy the three taco plate. I had the cheeseburger and I would give it a c. I had ordered it medium rare it was on the more well done side of medium. And I felt that the bread to meet ratio was not very good. We will be back however we have been to other granville's and like the food in general. It may have been just a bad day for me or for the burger:-).“

“The Stand is our favorite go to place. Fun for the family, great food, fun atmosphere, and a great selection of beer & wine. The Havarti and Mushroom Burger is divine as is the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. We normally get the fries well done as they are then crispy on the outside and perfectly textured on the inside! Watching sports and guests is the best!“

“The price is high for the quality of food. It is a nice place to go for a lunch meeting. The buns are not vegan. Only sourdough bread is. “They were running behind,I understand it was very Busy, but I could tell they were short handed on getting everyones meals out to them, the meals were done but the person packing up the meals was in need of help.Parking: People double park on the RED curb when waiting for food and it makes it hard to even try and get a parking spot. They usually have someone run in to get the food and the driver just sits in the car waiting, makes it very difficult for people to move around and to try to even get a parking spot.“

“We hadn't eaten a beef burger for a long long time as we've been avoiding meats other than fish. Yet, we thought it would be nice to have a good burger now and then.Nikkie was terrific! A great listener, knew the menu perfectly, exceptionally aware and alert about her customers and colleagues in general. When our fries were a bit undercooked by our standards, she explained they were as designed but that she'd order another order that would be crispier. We offered to pay for them, but she insisted that we don't. Truly unexpected.I think our only observation is that we thought the burger (which i sm certain is weighed) was just a bit small for the size bun they've chosen. Otherwise, flavor, consistency, cooked properly to medium well was flawless. Thanks for the wonderful experience. All five star, even atmosphere, simple because they do the best for what they set out to do...they are not competing for a Michelin star.“

“This has been the second time coming here, but first review. The food is really flavorful and filling. However, I dropped it a star (half star, really) because the sliders we got were a soggy at the bottom upon arrival. Easily fixed with a charred bun. However, the staff has always been chill and kind. Not bad vibes. There is plenty of space to sit. The pool table is a nice addition too. The beer selection is also nice as they have their own beer, but also from other socal breweries. There are seltzer and wine options too, which I nice if you are not into beer.“

“The UC Bahn Mi chicken sandwich & adult grilled cheese 10/10.Both were extremely excellent. Unique in flavor/quality, perfect meal size portioning and competitively priced. 10 out of 10 points for both sandwiches.Urbane Cafe has a excellent variety of healthy food options for all dietary restrictions. This location also had, excellent customer service, a clean/new establishment environment and a polished feel. The sandwiches were still warm 15 minutes later when we got home and the smell of the sandwiches in the car while driving home really stood out to both of us.First I will speak of their new "UC Bahn Mi" sandwich which I ordered for myself. It is extremely unique in it's flavor profile. The portioning was perfect, the amount of sauce on the sandwich was perfect, the sandwich was filling yet felt like a healthy light option.Tastewise, my tongue felt this sandwich was an artful expression of local and exotic world flavors combined perfectly at once.Hands down, I would recommend getting this sandwich over all others if this is your first time coming. Also, all sandwiches come with a quality side salad of spring mix, a couple Mandarin orange pieces, feta cheese sprinkle and balsamic oil and vinaigrette mixed dressing on the side. It's my first time coming here and the food is extremely fresh and the flavor combinations in their sandwiches are spot on. During our visit we purchased two sandwiches so I cannot speak of anything other than that. However, if the food that we got is a good representation of the unique flavor profiles of the rest of their food then I would rate their menu an A+. I give top scores for presentation, flavor profile, unique combinations, freshness, menu options, and customer service. Also, apparently you can get extra sandwich sauce on the side which comes in a pretty large portion cup.We placed a to-go order at the register around 2:30p they are fairly busy & it took about 12 minutes for our food. They bake their sandwich bread inside what looks like a large brick type open oven as a pizza place would do. When you order a sandwich, your bread is pretty much baked to order as you watch. They're able to do this as the sandwiches use a flat bread style. You place your order at the register they give you a number and you can wait anywhere in the cafe where they will bring you your food regardless if it is for here to go.It appeared as though it was the manager who was filling the roll of expediter, inspecting, packing & running completed orders to guests.I have to hand it to the person that was handling this at 2:27pm 3/8/24. This gentleman was extremely friendly, gracious, professional, warm, welcoming & part of why I would come back sooner. Please, pass on to him how noticeable good he is at the things that he does.I left feeling like I had made a good decision to go there and I would like to come back. The guests in this location appeared well put together with a mix of middle and lower classes. My final comment is not one directed to this establishment itself. My only complaint, if you can call it a complaint, is the general cost of eating out. The final bill with two sandwiches, each coming with a small side salad automatically was a competitive $24 which is a tidbit too high for me. The cash register uses a system to ring you where you are automatically asked to accept or deny leaving a tip to which paying customers likely never appreciate. The location seemed steadily busy at 1:30 in the afternoon on a weekday but not so busy where it was uncomfortable or a noticeable wait for food. There is plenty of seating inside and out with umbrellas outside and a fenced-in patio which is across the street from a park. It's very nice location where Inside the establishment I saw a nurse on her computer on her lunch break, families, professionals on lunch breaks and just local people or couples out getting lunch here. The seating arrangement inside is extremely variable from cushioned bench, booth, chair and high barstool style of seating options. The patio is very larg“

“We enjoyed everything we ate during our dinner at The Front Yard. Be prepared to spend some $$$, but the quality of the food supports the rate (especially in LA). I had the brussel sprouts, 12-minute cheese biscuit, the filet (with tasty mushroom sauce), and smashed fingerlings. I wasn't wild about the fingerlings, but everything else was SUPER yummy. I also enjoyed the blackberry cocktail, and one of the cabs they had on their wine-by-the-glass menu. My fellow diners enjoyed the deviled eggs (not my thing), the bacon-cheese biscuits, the tagliatelle, short rib, and mushroom flatbread. They also had the strawberry cocktail and the Garland 1972. Everyone really enjoyed their meals, and it was a nice place to catch up with old friends while we ate. I would highly recommend getting a reservation, as it looked like there were quite a few folks waiting for tables when we arrived.“

“Firefly holds a special place in my heart. My best friend and I rekindled our friendship here and have been going strong for 8 years. We decided to come here with friends for Easter Sunday and they took the best care of us. Even though we had a slight mishap regarding our food, the staff more than made up for it by comping that item, replacing it, and offering us a fabulous desert spread on the house. It was still a lovely experience and we'll both be back for more good times. Thank you!“

“What a great cafe' serving healthy food, smoothies, bowls and more. We were on our way to Laemmle theater and grabbed a quick bite here. Such a pleasure to see such a diverse menu with healthy choices. I had the turkey on sourdough with sprouts (quite good), my husband had the Cali-wrap, he definitely enjoyed! Having more time, I would have delved into the smoothie choices, but will definitely return to try other items. I have to say the baked goods looked scrumptious for sure! The Eat Real Cafe is just what you want to brighten your day with it's cheery, comfy setting both inside and out. Quite busy at lunchtime today, yet service did well keeping up. “We had a ladies lunch here on a Saturday afternoon. We made reservations online through Yelp about two weeks prior and were seated promptly on arrival at reservation time. We ordered drinks, appetizers, pizza, and flat breads to share. The buffalo cauliflower (has a nice kick), Brussel sprouts, and parmesan truffle fries were good, plentiful and crispy. The pear royale pizza and heirloom tomato flat bread were really good. The skinny studio heat cocktail was delicious and left me wanting a second round of it. Atmosphere is loud and it gets really packed and busy here. Service was attentive. There is a separate room in the back where a baby shower was held. Six Chow can accommodate big groups and is great for celebrations. Several tables were celebrating birthdays where staff came out with cake/desserts and sang at various times. Valet is available in the front, parking lot is small, and there are street parking.“

“I love this place. I didn't do all stars because I think the prices are high! The other reason is specifically the tea I order. The Peach tea. It's made in a type tea press, so the loose tea that's used could be used agin to make another cup of tea. But I think the loose tea is used once, and that's it! It would be nice that either the loose tea is bag and you as a customer can pour hot water over it more than once or give you the press to use while you dine in. That gives value and not wasteful I order the Thai Salad today and the Tempeh was cold and hard and seem less than usual however, the staff are always AMAZING and the food is delicious I would recommend this place over and over again!“
“What an incredible experience we had at Scratch Kitchen and Bar in Encino! My wife and I stumbled upon this hidden culinary gem on a weeknight, and little did we know that it would turn our 1-year anniversary into an unforgettable celebration. Initially, we had planned a cozy night in, intending to cook dinner together. However, as the idea of dishes and clean-up loomed, we decided to indulge ourselves and head out for a culinary adventure. With our devices in hand, we embarked on a Yelp research journey, debating between a steakhouse, a French restaurant, or something that encapsulated Modern American cuisine. That's when we discovered Scratch Kitchen and Bar - a name that immediately piqued our interest. With reservations secured through their user-friendly website, we quickly changed into our evening attire and set off. Upon arrival (after a playful bit of searching - like a grown-up scavenger hunt), we were greeted warmly by the staff and seated at the counter. They provided us with a brief overview of their unique concept and left us to ponder our choices. Opting for the Chef's tasting menu, we decided on the middle option. To elevate our dining experience, we brought along a cherished bottle of wine. Scratch had a corkage fee of around $25, which we found reasonable considering the occasion and the chance to enjoy our own selection alongside their culinary creations. The tasting journey began, and each course was a symphony of flavors, textures, and artistic presentations. From the moment the first dish graced our palates, we knew we were in for a treat. The carefully curated selection showcased the chef's mastery in marrying different ingredients to create harmonious compositions. Each bite was a delightful surprise, and we found ourselves savoring every moment and flavor. The staff's knowledge and passion for the menu were evident, as they provided insights into the dishes and engaged us in delightful conversations. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, allowing us to focus on the experience and the company of one another. Our decision to trust Scratch Kitchen and Bar for our anniversary celebration was rewarded tenfold. From the attentive staff to the exquisite Chef's tasting menu, every aspect of our evening was a testament to their dedication to culinary excellence. Scratch Kitchen and Bar is a true treasure in Encino, offering an enchanting dining experience that exceeded our expectations. The combination of innovative cuisine, warm ambiance, and attentive service makes this restaurant a must-visit for anyone seeking an unforgettable culinary journey. We wholeheartedly award Scratch Kitchen and Bar a well-deserved 5-star rating and will undoubtedly return to savor their creations once more.“

“I was in a part of town I rarely visit & played "Yelp roulette". I rust type in "highest rated" in current location & see what looks interesting. I'm glad I found CF Food Kitchen. It's a fairly nondescript restaurant with a simple interior in the corner of a small pod mall. It was "Wellington Wednesday". Other items looked great, but I've never had beef Wellington, so I figured, "Why not???". It comes as a three course meal plus warm, perfectly crusty bread. I picked lobster bisque which was very rich, creamy and lobster-forward even without many (any?) lobster bits. I took the desert to-go. The key lime pie was solid. The Wellington was good, not great. The pastry was kind of doughy & the mushroom duxelles was fairly flavorless. Luckily the beef loin and Demi glacé were excellent. Also the dollop of whipped mash was great with the Demi glacé and a few small veggies. The roasted gold beet was small, but the star of the veggies. The server was amazing: warm, welcoming, caring and knowledgeable. I hope I'm back in the area to try other items. They definitely focus more on the food than the ambiance, though.“
