The staff are friendly and attentive, always ready to help, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The location is very convenient, with easy access to nearby areas, so you can easily explore Sanlitun after your visit. “Great food, portions are bonkers good. Food quality is top notch and well worth the price. Staff are super friendly as well. I got a combo plate and unlike other Japanese restaurants I actually got beef that was properly cooked. After seeing the portions of the sushi rolls I will try those out next time because they were giant. Will definitely return.”

“An experience is fun when that moment fills your senses with life. Lucky Thai is an emotional space; the host lady looks at you with genuine interest and showers you with smiles. Once the food is placed, the very focused chefs create your food with intensity, rhythm, and grace. They are nonstop, choreographed, and full of flames. They will call you, and your food will be at the side counter. It's street food style, but inside the market. With the first taste, you know your decision was right, your intent to be there was rewarded, and your day will go well. “This place was referred to me by a co-worker, since I don’t know the area very well. What a great referral the pizza is like you build it how you want, but with an old skool pizzeria. It isn’t like Pieology. They have canned soda drinks, or two liter bottle soda, no alcohol. Vito the guy who made my pizza to perfection was telling me they have a really good Sunday BBQ from ribs, Tri-tip, 1/2 chicken, etc. They are only open in the evening hours, and the pizza is good size portion. Their small is the size of most mediums at other places. I highly recommend this place. A little more in price, but well worth the fresh ingredients and they won’t take tips.”

“I loved the matcha but they gave my daughter the wrong pastry and she got upset. Mind you it wouldn’t be a big deal but it was her birthday. The croissant was also not warm, and the girl had asked TWICE if I wanted it warmed up. It won’t refrain me from coming again, just hoping the workers are a little more mindful to their customers needs. ✨”

“Very good atmosphere, many bread selections including drinks and cake, and is packed on weekend. Wait line to purchase items is usually short maybe 5-10min. But overall, very good place.”

“Super tasty entrees all around. The beef brisket casserole was jam packed with flavor and super tender (melted in our mouths). The shrimp patties were super juicy and the perfect appetizer. The beef tripe noodles were beefy yet light. The surprise hit was the sweet and sour fish! Crispy and sweet, it was a great entree that was recommended by our waitress. Very friendly staff. Clean establishment. They even had a menu for the Quickly next door. Although I have to recommend their iced tea. Tasted all natural and refreshing. We will be returning!!”

I tried their Signature Beef Brisket Rice Noodles and was impressed by how tender the beef was and how rich the broth tasted—perfect for a chilly evening. “Glad to find a hidden sushi gem in Hacienda heights. I have been living in HH for 10+ years and we have been lacking authentic quality sushi. Theres a few Japanese restaurants in the area but unfortunately they are pretty westernize in terms of quality and options.

I have visited Sushi land a few times with my wife and the quality of the fish are great for the price and staffs were nice.”

“Used love this place and would come here often. Their fish 🐟 tacos 🌮 are delicious 😋 but it seems they have changed a bit.
The quality was definitely better before, maybe a different cook? Not sure. They're still good but not as they used to be. Service is always good, the staff are friendly and attentive. I've had their campechana and it's so good! Definitely recommended as well as their tostadas de camarón and pescado”

“I love coming here and it's very close to my house, reminds me of my grandma baking growing up. They make great tamales as well with lots of meat, very delicious. Their sweet bread are great a big variety to choose from. They open at 5am you won't be sorry if you stopped by and bought some thing to have with your coffee in the morning.”
