“Easily one of the top Peruvian, restaurants and chains. I like that chicken soup and the lomo saltado especially. This location is more of a drive-through pick up or delivery and I primarily just order through DoorDash. Certainly one of my go to choices for really good chicken, soup and meat.Vegetarian options: Good options to choose from“

“Having a delicious dinner, an excellent view, an excellent atmosphere with very professional service was one of the best experiences I have ever had in this type of restaurant. I highly recommend it, especially because of the explosive flavors of the food, something that you are not normally used to but something that you will love and can become addicted to.“

“Walking Santee Alleys makes you hungry and Mex Peru Gipsy is EXCELLENT, 5 star for food and service. My family ordered a little bit of everything - the gotta has a chipotle sauce which brings together the flavors perfectly. The menudo was authentic and they bring out all the condiments. The lomo saltado and tallarín was perfect. The serve is fast and friendly as if you're eating with family. Everyone here takes great pride in what they serve. Worth driving to even if you're not shopping the alleys.“

“This place used to be the biz. I cannot deny that their food is jammin' but their service and overall attitude have a lot be desired. This was the spot after the world reopened and the outdoor seating made everyone feel a little more COVID safe. I think they started feeling themselves a little too much. After my wife and I had our first couple visits there, it was great. However, subsequent visits went from awful to the absolute worst. They failed to recognize our reservations a couple of times and when they got it wrong, they made us rush to order. I would get their food again but suggest getting it delivered to spare their nonsensical restaurant/business practices. If you want the pulpo, get it there and not for delivery. And for some reason, when you get the saltado delivered, you don't get the egg. I'm assuming it's due to possible foodbourne illness issues. Five stars for food, one star for service/attitude.“

“Quick service window in Venice. You are sitting outside so be prepared for the wind and gray weather! The fish tacos were 10/10! So light! So fluffy! The yellow sauce took it to another level! Shrimp Saltados 8/10 had great flavor! Kinda messy for a beach day. The rice was hard, but overall delightful!“

Restroom is through the kitchen which is pretty unhygienic but whatever. Fresh ingredients and food was flavorful except for the eggs but overall solid. Pupusas were huge but I didn't try them.“

“A wonderful place with amazing food, we came here because the kids wanted sushi rolls while the grownups wanted Peruvian food, the selection was amazing the rolls are very creative with a Peruvian flair, we tried the Acivochado roll which by the name you can tell what it is, it was absolutely amazing and the other dishes were also great. “My go to spot for delivery , I've only ate once inside but usually I order for delivery and they never miss ! I always get the chicken with fries and the amount of fries they give you is wonderful ! The taste of the chicken is very Smokey but it isn't overpowering the ají sauce I always order extra the spice level is great I'm use to spicy salsas , foods I enjoy the level of this ají sauce .“

“Came in on my lunch break to meet up with a friend. I ordered for both of us and was told I could sit anywhere. We ordered (2) Saltado de Pollo lunch specials and (2) papa relleno. They brought us chicken rice soup which was hot and perfect for the cold day. The saltado de pollo was absolutely delicious. I had a side of pickled onions which were the perfect touch. There was a problem with the papas but the lady behind the counter was quick to solve the problem and was very apologetic. Bummed we couldn't stay longer to enjoy because we had to get back to work. Service was great, food was delicious and I'll definitely be back to try other dishes.“

“Pretty low key spot. Simple tables , kinda sparse design but clean and comfortable. Good service, but low key. Food was solid. Had the mixed Ceviche and it was solid. I'm a ceviche connoisseur, but this was comparable to what I'd generally get in Lima. On a really tough scale as someone who has tried some of the best ceviche recipes you come across in multiple countries, I give it a 7.5-8 out of 10. Really, good, deserving of a 9 out of 10 on an l LA Peruvian ceviche scale. It was served the very traditional way I don't often see outside of Peru. Good spot if you like Peruvian food.
