“This place used to be the biz. I cannot deny that their food is jammin' but their service and overall attitude have a lot be desired. This was the spot after the world reopened and the outdoor seating made everyone feel a little more COVID safe. I think they started feeling themselves a little too much. After my wife and I had our first couple visits there, it was great. However, subsequent visits went from awful to the absolute worst. They failed to recognize our reservations a couple of times and when they got it wrong, they made us rush to order. I would get their food again but suggest getting it delivered to spare their nonsensical restaurant/business practices. If you want the pulpo, get it there and not for delivery. And for some reason, when you get the saltado delivered, you don't get the egg. I'm assuming it's due to possible foodbourne illness issues. Five stars for food, one star for service/attitude.“

“Quick service window in Venice. You are sitting outside so be prepared for the wind and gray weather! The fish tacos were 10/10! So light! So fluffy! The yellow sauce took it to another level! Shrimp Saltados 8/10 had great flavor! Kinda messy for a beach day. The rice was hard, but overall delightful!“

“Really nice waiter attended us. We came here because loaded cafe had nobody attending guests. It was a cute little typical hispanic place. Restroom is through the kitchen which is pretty unhygienic but whatever. Fresh ingredients and food was flavorful except for the eggs but overall solid. Pupusas were huge but I didn't try them.“

“A wonderful place with amazing food, we came here because the kids wanted sushi rolls while the grownups wanted Peruvian food, the selection was amazing the rolls are very creative with a Peruvian flair, we tried the Acivochado roll which by the name you can tell what it is, it was absolutely amazing and the other dishes were also great. “I ordered Half tray of chaufa for my sister in laws bday it was a HIT !!! So much food it was 20 of us and feed everyone and still had some left .. and the ambiance when we went to pick up was awesome live music on a Fridays and sat !! “My wife and I ate here after an appointment at UCLA. It looks like it was a once hoping spot. It is connected to a ghost town of an outside mall. This was our second time here. I don't know if there is a lot of crime, but it sure had a lot of cameras. It made us wonder if maybe that's why the area looks abandoned. The food was really good and the service matched.“

“It's like eating a home cooked meal at your favorite Peruvian auntie's house :) Mouth watering flavors and a spoon full of goodness. You start off with their complimentary signature cup of this green rice soup and bread, was very good. On the table you have this delicious spicy tangy condiment that I wanted to spread on everything. Found the menu a little confusing to follow due to its structure and illustration but then understood the concept so make sure to ask the server if you have any questions. Our server suggested their popular dishes with the chicken. The chicken is their specialty and it's really tender, juicy, moist and flavorful. The garlic rice was also good but not as garlicky as I expected. Had the Combinados with chicken - the sauce and base were great and also the Vainita with chicken which was a little more dry and plain. We had to try the alfajores for dessert, to be honest, I've had better but it was served pretty ;) Overall satisfied. Mellow small place but busy, free parking lot in front.“
