“Bought a few cakes and they were all amazing, not the prettiest of cake designs but the taste and accuracy to the way Peruvian cakes should taste was spot on, specially the chocolate cake. The other baked items were also great, they sell food as well but I did not try it. The staff was friendly and allowed me to place a pick up order over the phone. Will return.“
“Very chilled and kick back place...Maybe because it was a Sunday It was empty...But lots of phone orders and pick upsFood was good ??? but no adult beverages.Daughter and I had a great timeWill definitely go back..Parking: It's a small place but food is good“
“I've tried many Peruvian spots in LA, and this one stands out with its freshness and taste. The quality in the food, such as the meats and vegetables, is super good and tasty. The potatoes are never saugy, and the ceviche is never smelly or fishy. It's not the cheapest spot to grab a Lomo Saltado, but to be honest, it's worth every penny. Pair your meal with an Inca Cola or a fresh juice like yheir Piña or Chica Morada if you've never tried them.“
“Visited for the 1st time on a Saturday , place was almost full . Clean , service was fast and friendly . Order Started with papa a la huancaina and tamal de pollo as starters , both 10 out of 10 - super delicious We also ordered a lomo saltado , one apanado a lo pobre and antucuchos with pancita The lomo saltado 10 of 10 ( presentation and flavor ) The anticucho with pancita ( mixto) was also delicious, the combination with the sauces and the left over papa a la huancaina sauce was perfect The apanado a lo pobre came late ( everybody else was done either way their meals ) but ate it anyway it was great Stop by worth the visit“
“Amazing food that though a little pricey, can definitely be worth the value. Their saltado de mar y Tierra combines meat with fish in their special sauce that I always need more of. Forget the name of the cookies but a dessert of theirs in a small bundle are also fantastic. Worth at least a try.“
“Foooood is sooooo gooooood. The one I went to was a taco stand, but honestly the service was nice and the server very understanding. It is outside, so you might be cold so it's probably better to have it for togo and eat it at home! Tacos are bomb and the quesadillas is not bad!“
“Came here last minute before closing and the lady working by herself greeted us with excellent service. She served us lomo saltado & it was delicious, it came in a large portion for a very low price. Definitely coming back great food and great service !“
“It's a little place but it's the best most authentic peruvian roasted chicken you'll find in LA.Great price good portionsLove the salad dressing. Need the recipe! It smells like peru when you walk through the door. With the wood they use to roast the chicken.“
“I cannot believe how delicious this place is, their lomo saltado is 100% worth it! And their green crack sauce is so addicting, delicious!! Super friendly service and they always explain the menu, and specials of the day to you!Parking: Parking is safe and easy to accessKid-friendliness: High chairs for the kids.“
“My wife from Northern Peru and I have tried so many of these restaurants in Southern California, but this seems to be the best and most authentic we have found. The owner's mother is from Piura (near my wife's hometown of Chiclayo) and she immediately recognized the care and special seasoning that went into the outstanding anticuchos (with several types of dipping sauce) and pescado frito (lightly breaded fried fish) that was done to perfection. Similarly, the maricuyao (passionfruit) and chica morada (purple corn sweet drink) were also fresh, not canned. Hands down, the very best for this cuisine of Northern Peru (which is also renowned in Peru).“
“Delicious food made with love and care the quality can be tasted and is full of flavor the chefs are professionals and every item here is delicious and not disappointing nice people just trying to serve good Peruvian food I'll be sure to come “
“In general, this restaurant is amazing there service here is very good.As for food it's very good but you do need to know what you are ordering because sometimes you need to find something that will satisfy you. The place look very well for a good restaurant.“
“Tried the Pescado a Lo Macho and flan. The flavor of both was just OK, The fish plate and the flan had a very appealing look. The service was prompt, cordial, and effective. There are some homeless people in the parking lot but I never felt unsafeThe restaurant is very nicely decorated inside.“
“My husband stopped for a quick breakfast and raved about the huevos rancheros! This restaurant is Peruvian, Mexican & Guatemalan. We look forward to exploring their diverse menu, such items like pupusas, ceviche, zarapes, pepian, tacu-tacu, pollo guisado and so much more. Cannot wait to sample more of them! ( For now, photos shown are from the menu only.)Next stop, I will revisit my review. Another small local business that deserves an opportunity!“
“My friends and I came here last night to grab dinner. I arrived first and was able to find parking alright in their small parking lot. This place just open recently at their new location since there were signs. When I walked in, I told her my friend made reservation for a party of 6 and got seated right away. The inside not that big but it's a decent size and I notice there was only 1 waitress working. When my friends joined, she started giving us water and the bread which was delicious when hot. They were able to accommodate for separate checks so that's always a win-win, just be aware that if you pay by credit card that there a 4% transaction fee. I got the Bistec A Lo Pobre and on the menu it said there no substitute but the waitress asked me what I wanted for my sides so I asked for double fries. Two of my friends got the Lomo Saltado and my other friend got the Fettuccine Dos Sabores. We all thought our dishes were delicious, the seating was spot on and the portion were a good size. We would gladly come back but also be aware that there also a convenient fee as well that they add to the check for some reason. Since we were a party of 6, tip at 15% was already included. I don't agree with the 4% transaction fee and the convenient fee but I can just subtract it from the tip amount.Vegetarian options: There are some healthy choices here.Parking: The plaza where this place is in does not have alot of parking spaces but you might be lucky if you come at night time since most shops in the plaza are closed.Kid-friendliness: This place is kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: This place is wheelchair accessible.“
“I like the flavor that chios has, I ordered a fish ceviche because I don't really like seafood, I loved it although the prices have increased a lot one thinks I liked it, I go to chios which is in Sepulveda, I don't like the one It's in van nuys, on the receipt is the portion that you have to leave, I don't know if it's legal because in other restaurants they don't ask for a portion, it's voluntary.Parking: The parking is terrible, it's a problem to park and you can't park outside because they won't let you, it's in red because the buses and bicycles pass and you can't park.“
“Howdy howdy Alright, listen up. If you're not sure about Listo El Pollo, I am here to push to give it a try. I was not looking forward to it, very hesitant but after 20 minutes of reviewing the pictures and reading the old menu pictures I somehow convinced myself. Trust me I went all in, I got the whole chicken special to go, which comes with two large sides and a 2L soda. Lots of food, for my sides I went for the fries, and beans. The fries are just regular fries house made I assume, 2.5 out of 5. The Peruvian beans also 2/5 . The chicken though! Wow, whatever rub they use made it delicious. That I will give a 6/5 that's how good it is. I also got the Yuca. The yuca was bare with nothing but I love Yuca so to me it was delicious especially bcus I dipped the yucca in that yellow spicy sauce which bam was a party in my mouth! I also got the rice chaufa combination with it all.. shrimp, lomo, chicken and egg and onions and man!! So honestly give it a try. I will definitely order again!“
“The lomo saltado was tasty. Just make sure to ask for the "real prices"I was given a menu with prices but the bill came with higher prices. They said they are getting "new menus" no apologies at all. I paid the higher prices but I felt cheated. Not a happy feeling. Watch out!“
