“Healthy simple food.I like it just the way it is. I got the #1 ejotes con huevo; scrambled eggs, green beans, onion, tomato & bell pepper; accompanied with queso fresco, beans, crema, avocado slice, and thick corn tortillas. Fresh, simple and not heavy. Plus the price is also fair. If we ALL ate good simple food vs fast food chain, we all would be better off“
“Thee best pupusas I've had in a while !!The cheese was picture worthy but we were so hungry we forgot lol. Wait time was great!! They even let my little Frenchie in with no problem my husband had the fried fish he devoured the entire plate thank you el Boqueron“
“This was definitely a great dining experience. They treated us well from start to finish. Our waiter was great! He made sure everyone was ready during our time there. The attention to the smallest detail was a truly impressive factor. The food was without a doubt one of the best meals I have ever had“
“The food was delicious. Very friendly & welcoming customer service. I loved the outdoor dining. The flowers smelled so good. Great ambiance. Freshly squeezed orange Juice. & Aqua Fresca. Opens at 7AM- 3PM.Serves breakfast & lunch.“
“I've never been there at night but it still gets good. I go to breakfast often and I love the re-vamp they have done. The menu has a new look even the workers are more professional. I really like the pupusas at this restaurant. 10/10 I recommend Bon appetit!“
“Really nice waiter attended us. We came here because loaded cafe had nobody attending guests. It was a cute little typical hispanic place. Restroom is through the kitchen which is pretty unhygienic but whatever. Fresh ingredients and food was flavorful except for the eggs but overall solid. Pupusas were huge but I didn't try them.“
“La Mañanera was so delicious, definitely recommend the Salvi-Mexican combo. Looked like the restaurant is expanding, and unfortunately does not have a restroom. Note there is a 45 minute wait for the Mamasota! So we didn't order it...“
“My family was in the mood for Central American food and after a quick google search I found this small hole in the wall restaurant.Glad I came here the food was delicious. The pepperoni popusas were bomb and cheesy (a lot of places skimp out on the cheese not here) . The garnachas were also good an order gets you 8!!!. Good bang for your buck. Will be coming back for breakfast.“
“I ordered pupusas, cheese, beans and cheese, and beans, cheese and chicharrones. The pupusas were delicious and served with curtido and the tomato sauce. They are fairly large and would recommend perhaps 2 per person at most. Now if you’re extra hungry, try the plátanos with beans and “crema”. They were delicious. The young woman who took my order over the phone was super friendly. My to go had napkins, silverware, and everything was packed neatly. I’d definitely recommend you try the food.“
“AMAZING! The pupusas were thick and juicy. I'm not picky about my pupusas so this hit the spot. A great meal after shopping at Flower District! The large Horchata was sooo good.. you know it's good when the straw barely fits the cup! The ladies here are so attentive and helpful! Very spacious, looks like it'd be good for an every day spot. They take Apple Pay!! Open until 1:30AM, but last kitchen call is at 12AM!!!! Home styled restaurant, family owned. Very limited English- support local business!!“
“I found a diamond in this beautiful family own restaurant. This is a Salvadoran and Mexican style restaurant. First, we ordered the Molcajete completo Cielo Mar y Tierra. Desayuno - and pupusas de Arroz. The restaurant is nice and clean and the food is so delicious. We also got carne guisada. And more pupusas de arroz ( instead of corn we choose rice).By the way, our Server Gladis was super nice friendly and professional. She took our order quickly and look at these large portions.Highly recommend Mi Pueblo Restaurant y Pupuseria. Either with family or friends come and support this local business. Thanks for reading“
“I've been here twice and have been pleasantly surprised both times. The ambiance is amazing. Clean, neat and happy. The staff on both occasions were superb. Fast and speedy service. On the second visit the place was full and yet the waitress didn't miss a beat. Cool calm and collective. The food is well proportioned and delicious. My hubby always orders either a beef caldo or chicken. He was pleased on both visits. I always stick to different types of breakfasts that are typical to our culture. They didn't disappoint. We will continue to visit this spot. Thank you for such a gem of a place. Blessings to you all.“
“What a delicious spot. The restaurant appeared clean with a few tables for sit down. I ordered pupusas de chicharrón and queso. I loved the texture of the crunchy pupusa from being slightly fried. It was a nice and light, delicate crunch. The cheese and chicharrón filling was flavorful. Putting tomato salsa and curtido on top was great too. I love picked cabbage curtido!! Also got 2 chicken tamales. These are made with slices of potato, two different chile peppers and chicken. They were melty tender (not spicy!) I had their fried plantain, beans and sour cream. The fried bananas were perfectly soft and sweet! Oh, I loved them! To drink, I ordered their home made horchata. That was really impressive. I think they toasted some kind of nut, maybe almonds and blended that together with the rice. It was very tasty, and not too sweet! Very nicely balanced flavors and seasoning. All that food and my drink cost me $27. I honestly thought that was a GREAT price. This is a lovely place! Be sure to stop by. The husband and wife are the business owners and were very nice :)“
“The customer service here is phenomenal it's a small family owned restaurant, and they treat their customers like one of their own, they are so incredibly friendly and very welcoming too! This place has the beat authentic Salvadoran food that will leave you craving to come back for more ! Parking is located in the mini shopping center right across to the left of the restaurant and it didn't bother me one bit there was plenty of space. So if your out and about and see this restaurant stop by and try a plate I promise you that your taste buds will forever thank you . Signed yours truly , one very happy Salvadoran customer.“
“A friend of mine brings me breakfast from here all the time. They do a breakfast sandwich that is so delicious. It's scrambled eggs with chorizo, beans, sour cream and a harder saltier cheese on sweet bread. It is a to die for breakfast sandwich. Their quesadillas (not the Mexican kind, the Salvadoran kind) are the best I've ever had. They also have a pineapple filled cream cheese muffin that's out of this world. Whenever my friend brings me breakfast from this place, it's just a better day. It makes me happy. Highly recommend.“
“Best tamales in LA. This family owned business really takes quality seriously and they also have excellent costumer service. We enjoyed almost all the tamale flavors and several items as well, including the vegan flan and the tacos. Would high recommend!“
“We love Gloria's. The ambience is not what you come for! Service is very good and staff is super nice and friendly. We love the fundido and it is addictive! Guacamole is tangy and delicious. Chips are okay. The enchiladas, tacos, and the carnitas are to die for. Margaritas are refreshing and strong. We will definitely be back!“
“Delicious, non-greasy pupusas with lots of vegan options. They give you tons of curtido too! An incredible deal for a healthy, nourishing meal, and the family who owns it is a pleasure to talk to.The pan de elote is especially good too, lots of sweet whole kernels.“
“The food is pretty good. Flavors are on point. Menu pricing online does not match what is in-store. Online menu says a 7 mares is 16.99, its actually 20.99 in person. Online pupusas are 2.75, they're actually $4.00. Expect to add at least $3.00 to each item for the real price. Other than that its good food for an okay price.“
“A friend brought me here today to try the rice pupusas, they were one of the best I've ever tried! The waitress was very attentive, and its a very cozy place. This is now my second favorite salvadoran restaurant, and highly recommend it!“
“Welcoming staff, clean, very tasty food. I'm a gringa, so no clue what true Salvadoran food SHOULD taste like.... This food was just straight up DELICIOUS!! Better than others I've tried, so I gotta think probably pretty authentic! If you find yourself with a pupusa craving, go for the queso con loroco or quest and beans.... Really enjoyed the food and the ladies working so hard and being so proud to share such yumminess.... brought back a big group of us and it was the same.... Thanks ladies!!“
“After the old El Salvador restaurant I use to go to went out of business I had to find a new one. I tried a few places and I didn't like it, luckily I found El Trebol. Food is amazing, it's always fresh! I have read a couple reviews in which they say the food took a long time to come out and all I have to say about that is DUH! Food here is fresh and made to order. The pupusas are some of the best I've had! Anytime I'm feeling under the weather I get the sopa de gallina india which is salvi version of chicken noodle soup without the noodles and a lot more veggies. This place is great do yourself a favor and check it out!“
“Carne Asada 8/10- very nice portion size. they had beans, rice, lettuce, onions (amazing), some vegetables and the carnePupusa (10/10)- the chicken was amazing!! So flavorful. Also got the steak and regular and they were so so amazing. It came with some sort of tomato base soup which tasted so delicious and some fermented vegetables. The wait was a little long, 25 min, but you know it’s real then.10/10 would eat here again. Thank you“
“This a great place for pupusas.I had both a loroco and a revuelta pupusa. The loroco was very cheesy and had a very nice light veggie taste from the blossoms. The revuelta was full of flavor and not overly salty. The cortiodo had a nice bite to it and a pleasant balance between the herbs and vinegar.I also had a tamale de elote, it tasted very fresh. It came with crema and beans, and was a nice finish to my lunch.I think they make their own tamarindo Agua fresca - it had a nice tartness without being overly sweet.“
“A few months ago I was looking for a new place to eat around LA I came across la Cabañita and decided to give it a try and let me tell you It has became my and my sons favorite place to eat I have try almost everything on the menu and is always a 10 out of 10 My son enjoy the cheese pupusas and I love the carne asada and chicken soup a mom I really appreciate when they pay attention to my sons needs and try the best to accommodate his request Costumer service is amazing , I truly feel like I'm home every single time. Come try it and see what I mean“
“Love this place! Most of the workers don’t speak much English- but they do well with trying to get u what u need…, I’m a big soup person and they make the BEST! Always hearty compared to all other places I’ve been too…. We always go back. Try the cow foot soup or the 7 seas… 2 of my favorites…. Every item I’ve had from them has been great! I highly recommend!!“
“Thank you to our friends and clients for your preference. We always hope ? to provide a good service ? that you like, any suggestion helps us improve service for you, our valued clients, blessings from us, your friends José and rubí portillo.“
“2nd time here. Had to come back, aannd will be back again!! Ordered the Sopa de Gallina. One word to describe; AMAZING!! The chicken breast was well seasoned and super juicy. Still in love with the rice. The broth, you can taste the passion, skill and time it takes to achieve the flavor. Always remember to be patient, great food doesn't take 5 mins. It was hot out today, but super fresh inside.“
“Reyna sure knows how to make an excellent pupusa. Of all the items we ordered for takeout/delivery, these were by far the star of the show.We also ordered some tacos and her steak tacos are pretty tasty as well! The chicken in the chicken tacos was on the dryer side, but that didn't stop us from devouring our meal.We also ordered the shrimp tostada which was another tasty item. We'll definitely be back for more pupusas soon!“
“This café truly adheres to a decent arrangement of guidelines technique on the most proficient method to deal with visitors or clients. I'm cheerful on the grounds that the waiters truly made us agreeable. I will certainly prescribe this café to everybody!“
“The times I have gone to the restaurant always have seats available even for a large party with no long wait times. Definitely recommend the Churrasco Santa rosa it offers a variety of food for a very affordable price service is always great.“
“The food was delicious! I really enjoyed the bean and cheese Pupusa with the cabbage and sauce on top. The fish and shrimp in garlic sauce dish ??was very comforting and creamy. I enjoyed the flavor of the horchata as well. Amazing proportions! The service was amazing as well! We really appreciated the lady who waited on us, she was so sweet and so helpful, I will be coming back here for sureParking: There were enough spaces and we had no problem finding a spot in the parking lot“
“Pupusas here are deliciosas!!!!! Prices are reasonable, they take debit card with no extra charge so that’s a plus. I recommend calling in if you’re taking to go because it can take them up to 25 minutes… the parking is not good but the taste and price are worth it :)We always get pupusas revueltas…“
“I have been a customer for years and it has never bothered me to pay dearly for a good plate of food or a good chicken broth but something I did not like was that for 2 orders of plantains even without cream and beans, as I told you, they will charge me almost 25 dollars, even so, I don't give it a bad rating because I like their food with the bananas, otherwise I would be very happy“
“One of my favorite pupusa spots in Los Angeles. The women who own/run the restaurant are very humble, my family and friends always give me great remarks when I bring these to pot lucks. I definitely recommend giving this place a shot, the bean and cheese pupusa is very delicious!“
“Great clean and well run spot in Wilmington! Delicious and freshly made authentic salvadoran food. The quesadilla, sweet bread, served nice and warm made in house is a must. We had the mojarra ? frita and chicharrones entomatados served with nice refried red bean, rice, and freshly hand made tortillas. Family restaurant with spotless facilities. Will be back!!“
“This review is based off of a Uber eats review and it’s probably way better in dining.I had their eggs with plantanes, chicharron pupusa, beef soup and cheeseburger with fries. The eggs were delicious and the plantanes were ok. The pupusa was pretty good and the soup was also good with a solid broth. The cheeseburger was also descent and fries were about average.I’d definitely order here again and I’m gonna try this spot in person because so think it’s way better in dining.“
“(Translated by Google) It is a small place but with very good service and attention, it is very nice to eat alone or in company, the atmosphere is pleasant, a good price and the pupusas are the best! The tanning and tomato sauce are very rich, the girls who serve are very friendly, even the cooks, I highly recommend the place to get to rest and eat something while watching a TV program, there are also typical desserts from your Salvadoran country and I think what mexican food(Original)Es un lugar pequeño pero con muy buen servicio y atención,es muy agradable ir a comer solo o en compañía el ambiente es ameno, buen precio y las pupusas son los mejor! “The two women were welcoming well we got popusas revuelta and queso reroco I’ve been to multiple pupeserias flor Blanca la Barca and to me this the sauce is spicy ?️ beautiful color what more do you want large size popusas I devoured sorry ? but it was so good we got to go hehe ?“
“Yelp says this place closes at 9pm, but they actually close at 7pm. Pupusas are a must order. Friend said her bean and cheese pupusa was literally beans on one half and cheese on the other half. I guess it was flattened out the wrong way when cooking. I tried the reveulta and chicken, both are delicious with curtido and salsa (not spicy). Plantains are delicious, especially with the beans and cream. Fried yucca was good. Service is nice and accommodating. This place was not busy at all on a Sunday night. This is a great place to satisfy any pupusa craving.“
“This is a super popular hole in the wall in South LA. It's cash only and parking is a little tricky but you will find street parking if you look for it. Be sure to know your order before going in as the staff is usually super busy taking orders. The Pupusas took a bit of time but it was worth it because they were so fresh. The filling to masa ratio was good, and the curtido and sauce was typical. I got a revuelta and loro o pupusa and both were super flavorful and stuff generously. I'm coming back to this spot for sure“
“First gen salvi here - this has been our new go to pupuseria since Cerro Verde closed. The pupusas, platanos, and beans are great, I haven't tried much else. God bless them for taking my dad's constant unsolicited business advice. I have only had to go food from here. Prices are fair for LA food.“
