“My review is based on a to go order only. First of all, I have lived in Hercules for 13 years and am embarrassed to say I had never eaten at this restaurant! I really don't know why... anyway so yesterday m daughter and I wanted a late lunch, we saw that this restaurant closes between 3pm and 4pm. It was 2:50pm but we thought we would take a chance and am so happy we did! We were greet immediately and the staff gave us no indication that they were about to close. They were very nice and accommodating. There were at least 3 other groups of people still dining at that time. Our orders were ready in record time. I had the Egg plant fried tofu and green bean dish which was very very good! Along with a small hot and sour soup, no pics to share, but I was very happy with my food and will be back soon!“

“Id say Cindy has one of the best Shrimp fried rice in the region. Their gas jet engine stove is so hot: the rice comes out toasty good! I told her I can tell your gas stove is at high temp, your fried rice cones out perfectly toasty! Worth a try! Love the bitter melon dish as well, and braised eggplant!“

“I visited this place 3 times. The first time when it first opened years ago. The second time last year and the third not too long ago .But my last visits are my favorite visits ? ?.I love the sweet corn dumplings. I love the cucumbers salad. The sauce that is in the cucumber Salad I use as a dipping sauce for my dumplings.The green onion pancake, though? Can I get three orders of that, please? Lol super simple yet very delicious.I tried their soup for the first time.The beef noodle I love the broth, flavorful but not salty at all. “Super fun lunch with a friend who introduced me to this restaurant in the Ranch 99 complex.We shared the salt and pepper tofu, Sichuan style twice cooked pork bacon, spicy garlic eggplant, crispy noodle chicken and pan fried chive turnover.Everything was super fresh and steaming hot. The tofu fried to perfection and soft & silky inside.We agreed to try item we had never had before and the twice cooked pork bacon and crispy noodle chicken were two of those items. The pork was very flavorful with the perfect heat level, and the crispy noodles under the layer of delicious chicken, mushrooms and fresh Vegis lent the perfect texture. The chive turnover was a fun dish.Our server, and everyone at the was friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back.Two things to know, parking can be a challenge as it is a busy area (there are multiple restaurants and shops in the complex, plus Ranch 99) and if you pay in cash, you get a free mini ice cream.“

“So glad they opened one out here in Vallejo to try out :) it is located in one of the busier plazas of Vallejo so traffic can be a bit of a concern around the parking lot. The inside is super small, the biggest table only has 4 seats, could possibly seat five. There isn't a lot of room inside really and it does get busy but not impossible to find a table to dine in! I would suggest possibly calling or checking in with a slight waiting time expectation! Otherwise, you could probably grab the food to go and eat outside or at a park nearby. Warm and busy vibes inside, perfect for an active lunch or dinner! The service was decent, food came out fast. The tables weren't really cleaned up too well so we had to wipe it down a little bit, and the staff usually is more casual so they probably will drop the food and leave you to your meal. I think the food always tastes pretty good across the multiple locations nearby. Personally my favorites include the soup dumplings and the molten lava buns! Their other common order foods are still really yummy though! Otherwise, would drop by if you're looking for good shareable food!“

“The name is 3 star ⭐️ but it’s definitely a 5 star especially when it comes to the food , very fresh made with care. Service and staff are nice and attentive, and the restaurant is very clean. To start I have the hot tea ,then garlic chicken, I prefer it crispy crunchy, or fried hard, chicken and shrimp noodle, and my fav green spicy green bean.“

“We came here for dinner and had a good experience. We ordered a Thai iced tea, special combo beef noodle soup, spicy beef noodle soup, and dry stir fried beef chow fun. Everything was delicious, and the service was quick and attentive. The prices are reasonable and the portions are large. Overall a good experience!“

From the fresh, crisp egg rolls to the full range of kung pow specialties to the Hong Kong style dishes to the delicately prepared seafoods (once in a lifetime candied walnut prawns for a life-changing experience!). Very sweet and welcoming young couple (yea, Mary) are the owners, the staff are well-trained and carefully selected, the service is impeccable, and the prices are very, very competitive. “A lot of these positive reviews seem to be from real gourmands, fans of specifically Yunnan-style cuisine, and people who recognize and appreciate the quality and authenticity of the food on offer here. Then there's me, who ordered from the part of the menu that is labeled "American" style. So I'm here to tell you that that part of the menu is amazing as well. Onion pancakes, fried rice, sesame chicken, and General Tso's: all absolutely delicious. Long reign Yunnan Style Rice Noodle! So glad this is nearby.“

“Came in on a Friday evening after finishing some business nearby. There were a few people waiting in the lobby area for their food. Being that it was my first time, I asked them how the food was and they looked at me like I was insane my takeaway was to absolutely try it. Unfortunately for me, they were super busy and weren't taking walk in orders. I was turned away but understandably. I called about an hour later because I really wanted Chinese food and the people in the lobby said I wouldn't be disappointed. I was NOT! Ordered 5-6 items, which were ready in less than 30 minutes. Orange chicken and the chicken and green beans were my favorite. So so good! This is definitely going to be my new go to spot.“

“The food is amazing! My go to order is Shrimp Fried Rice with an order of Egg rolls and a mango tea! The service is great, everyone is kind and greets you when you come in! It's usually not packed when i go, but it definitely should be because it's great here! The only issue is the parking spaces, it's limited but if you're lucky you'll find some, close by!“

“I was linked to this place because of my many food intolerance. However, I couldnt understand why my stomach hurt after eating their delicious fried rice. I later found out that they cook everything in corn oil and I have to stay away from that. Aside from that, they have gluten free options and the food is very good.“

“We moved to the area several years ago and LOVE our local Chinese place. Food is always fresh and delicious, service is stellar - always prompt and courteous. The ambience is calm and clean - restrooms, too! Prices are better than lots of other places - really reasonable, especially given the recent increases around the Bay Area. Orange chicken is crunchy and delicious, vegetables are fresh and crunchy in everything, the Hot and Sour is not overly spicy but very flavorful. We love the noodle and rice dishes, too. We also love the lunch specials, and enjoy take out from time to time. Plenty of take out orders keeps a busy kitchen and fresh food, but plenty of seating for when you want to dine-in.“

“Fast Chinese food. Big plate, great value. Food is usually pretty decent but look before you choose. If it looks like it's been the all day maybe it has. There are always fresh options and they churn out the popular dishes all day long. That's your best choice. Egg rolls are HUGE, eat them hot.“

“I've been coming to Hong Kong Snack House since I was a kid. I remember always asking my parents to get me some pandan egg puffs after trips to Ranch 99. Now, they're celebrating their 20th anniversary!Right now, you can come get your fave Hong Kong snacks (and more) and get 1 free when you buy 2! The owner who is always the one taking orders is very nice and funny. His little store has soooo many things, so take a look at what they have around. Packaged snacks and drinks, crepes, tornado potatoes, egg puffs, egg waffles, boba drinks, etc. They also have a very iconic Obama Stimulus Package deal of buy 3 get 1 free LOL My favorite things to get are their mango smoothies and pandan egg puffs. I will say their drinks are a little sweet for me. Although I haven't yet asked if they can decrease the sweetness. Congrats to Hong Kong Snack House for celebrating 20 years!“

“Our pastor introduced us to this place. Since then, we have been here for dates and group events. We also ordered take out delivery. Each time, the food has been served hot, fresh, and tastes good. Good portion sizes. Customer service is good. Would ho again.“

“I went here last night with my partner and my daughter and I’m so glad we did because it was awesome! Honestly the best Chinese food we’ve have since moving to the area 3 years ago. Everything is super fresh. My daughter ordered vegetable fried rice and there were actually hearty and fresh veggies in it! Im a vegetarian and ordered the “imitation” sweet and sour chicken. Normally im not big on fake meats but I’m so glad I got this because it was absolutely delicious. My very meat loving partner even liked it. The staff is extremely welcoming and very efficient. “Very delicious! I got the chicken and mixed vegetables with steamed rice. Their lunch special came with a corn soup, which was also tasty and a nice way to start the meal. I liked the sauce on the chicken and vegetables a lot. Rice just needed soy sauce. Nice and large portions. Also came with fried wontons and sweet and sour sauce. My husband liked the spicy orange chicken but didn’t find it spicy. We shared the Chinese chicken salad as well. Even their tea was good! Would happily come back.Parking: Shared lot with laundromat and liquor store, felt safe too.Kid-friendliness: Noticed a high chair.“

“When I read my prior review I realized how much we enjoyed the food. I was surprised that it appeared that we never went back. I had lunch here recently. I ordered the sliced duck in a spicy garlic sauce. It came with fried rice and hot and sour soup. I liked the duck, although it sorta tasted like beef. I had leftovers. When I took them home and examined the food, something I would never do sitting at a table with 10 women, it was indeed duck. Both the soup and fried rice were excellent. The food came to the table quickly. My to-go order took forever. The prices are higher than the other Chinese restaurants I have lunch at. Despite the higher prices, I will no doubt be back. They have an extensive menu with food that I seldom see on other menus. Also, I would like to try some other dishes“

“Fantastic and unexpected find! Hubby stopped charging and we stumbled upon this established, but unusual eatery that was simply fantastic! We had their homemade bone broth noodle soup and pork - it was both. Incredibly delicious. The 5 masala on the pork belly was fantastic. Our server, Ryan, was knowledgeable and proud of his family's business, history and heritage. too! so happy!“

Bbq Pork Fried Rice, Chicken Chow Mein, and Cashew Chicken. Not bad! Food flavor with lots of pork pieces in the fried rice and a good amount ofeat with the cashew chicken. The chow mein could've had more chicken but still decent. We paid about $40 for all which we didn't think was too bad. Overall, food was good and might become our late night goto Chinese restaurant even if it isn't "that" late night!“

“Grabbed food to go during the holidays for family that was visiting, and everyone loved it! The pot stickers are huge and delish,lemon chicken good, chow main was excellent, a spicy beef dish, broccoli stir fry, etc. everything tasted really good, and leftovers the next day were even better“

“Just booked a family table of 8 and our night was amazing. Our family has been coming to Hunan Villa for over 30 years! It is our favorite family restaurant. “This place has great hours It's a pretty typical Asian restaurant, we seated quickly. We got tea and drinks right away. They have a ton on the menu, almost overwhelming but it's good they have lots of options. We really liked everything we ordered. Also the staff was great, you do need to get their attention for extra stuff or the check. The place is very bright, loud they have different roasted duck hanging in the window, tanks of sea food, I really liked this place. Didn't feel rushed or the need to be super quiet, loved how casual it is here.“

“This is my go to spot for dim sum and Chinese food in town. We love the BBQ pork buns, salt and pepper fish, the roasted duck, and chow mein.The restaurant is located in an old bank in downtown Pinole. The room is large with plenty of seating inside, and plenty of parking outside.It can get loud when they are busy, and dim sum is always a full room.“

The chow mein was so flavorful, I usually need a substantial amount of sweet and sour sauce but this dish was delicious even before I added my sauce. Will definitely be a regular.
