The staff are so humble and they make you feel that you are at home,, my daughters and I visited his restaurant Sunday the 16th around 11 Ish the place it was already busy and we were party of eight kind of big party, but this sweet girl with all the respect was able to accommodate us even on a busy day and pretty much she always was paying attention to our table for any needs, unfortunately, I didn’t have a chance to get her name to add it on this review but overall this place is good delicious and I will definitely go back over and over again”

“I was conflicted about whether to give Rol 4 or 5 stars. I’m a sushi and hand roll aficionado. I’d eat it daily and I’ve been to most of the places in SoCal. The fish quality here is very good. I got the lunch special and at $16 for 4 rolls that’s a very good price. But the rolls are very small. Usually I can have enough at 5 rolls to be full. Here I had 6 and I could have still eaten more.
Other than that, I have no complaints. It’s a clean restaurant located right off beach blvd in main part of city. The servers were attentive and nice. I’m just a big eater and I would have to order 7-8 rolls to feel satisfied.”

The staff is incredibly attentive and welcoming; they take the time to learn your name and make you feel like family from the moment you walk in. The atmosphere radiates warmth and comfort, filled with the inviting aroma of freshly prepared Italian dishes, many of which are thoughtfully crafted by Dino, the owner. I’ve yet to be disappointed, and I come here often! Whether you’re celebrating a birthday or toasting to the end of a messy divorce, Capone’s is the perfect place to feel right at home. Be sure to grab a seat at the bar and meet José—the one and only Libation Master. He’s behind some of the most creative and refreshing cocktails I’ve had. His classic Old Fashioned, Pineapple-Ginger Martini, and Espresso Martini are a few of my personal favorites. “I read good reviews so we thought would go and give a try. Well the family and I had fantastic meal. My husband had a goat fish and said was very flavorful and tasty. For the kids (8, 11)we got a mild Lamb Korma and Butter chicken. With these I confirmed that they would be mild enough for the kids. The butter chicken and lamb korma even though was ordered as mild (no spice at all to it) it had an absolutely amazing flavor to it- perfect for kids. Now I have had a lot of butter chicken and hands down this was the best I have ever had. The chicken fried rice we ordered was very tasty as well. Highlight for my husband was the beer from India. He said it was very nice and complimented the food nicely.”

“Dropped in for my birthday, we’ve been coming to this shack for over 10 years. Come to find out the previous owners sold to a new amazing couple. Which kept the original flavors, menu and recipes. Still high standards with great flavor, and great portions. We stopped by a little after 10-11 am and got chatting with the couple who now owns the business and how they got it. A really amazing story and so so friendly, they gave our children a couple small dishes of sherbet while we chatted with them and waited for our burgers. Wish to have stayed and chatted longer but had to road trip back home. We will still be coming back as often as we can. WE LOVE POCKET BURGER!! ❤️”

“One particularly hot night my mom and I searched, “Best Gelato near me” and the top result was Mangiamo! After eating the gelato 3 times in a row, we can definitely say that title is well earned! The Double Chocolate flavor is for sure the best chocolate flavored Gelato in the whole state of California; not to mention it’s totally authentic too! The server is also incredibly kind and pleasant to talk to. Overall, this place is such a phenomenal experience and we would highly recommend it for vacationers and gelato connoisseurs alike!”

Portion sizes are lovely and on top of that the atmosphere is so lively, not to mention the stunning view of the beach. The bartender couldn't have been any more of a delight. She even had them make a patty for my service dog. I met an amazing vet Darren and his lady Becca. Hi Becca and Darren. I think we are going to be great boat friends. I have a 17 foot Boston whaler a Montauk fishing boat and and need other fishermen/women to take it out. Looking forward to many days on the water. “I used to go this del taco when i was a kid when my family would take a trip to the beach, always stopped here every time kinda like a routine habit. Hadn't been in over a decade until i took my daughter and wife after our first beach trip. Felt like i had too, for the sake of nostalgia. Perhaps my review is heavily favored in a positive memory but to me I like that it's a little crowded and a tiny little place, I love the food every time (My wife wasn't too thrilled but she's born and raised for Mexico so this is whitewashed to her (she says)) and the employees do their best and i think thats far better than expected for the area and its pace. Expect a line but it's fast and worth it.”

This review is coming from someone who is Persian and this is one of the best Persian restaurants I’ve been to in southern CA. There are some tables inside and a couple outside, but if you have a bigger party, I would suggest ordering it and walking down to the beach and eating it, perfect spot. I will definitely be back, I loved it!”

My only negative is the restaurant smells very greasy to me, but that only bothers me upon entering, after that I stop noticing it. Not a lot of ambiance, but this is not unusual for sushi especially in a strip mall.”

For the kids (8, 11)we got a mild Lamb Korma and Butter chicken. With these I confirmed that they would be mild enough for the kids. The butter chicken and lamb korma even though was ordered as mild (no spice at all to it) it had an absolutely amazing flavor to it- perfect for kids. Now I have had a lot of butter chicken and hands down this was the best I have ever had. The chicken fried rice we ordered was very tasty as well. Highlight for my husband was the beer from India. He said it was very nice and complimented the food nicely.”
