“The 2 slice pizza and drink special is such a great deal which is why I opted to come in here. They had a good variety of pizzas it was so hard to choose. I ended up getting it to-go because I was fishing nearby on the pier (only a 10 minute walk). By the time I got to the pier my pizza was a little cold and the crust was hard to eat but it did the job. For the price and what you get I am very satisfied. Not the best pizza I had but I did enjoy the ricotta cheese topped pizzas and the workers were extremely nice.“
“My husband and I had dinner here last night. And WOW! It’s a small place but those are always the best! Authentic Italian food and so yummy! And of course, service was great! Very nice people and AMAZING food! So good. I’m so pleased. We’ll be back for sure.“
“Terry and his wife are amazing. This place is delish. We had the prosciutto and arugula pizza and the burrata appetizer. Both were delicious. At the end of the mealnthey give you these warmed chocolate chip cookies with sea salt! Good prices and a good drink list.“
“I was having some work done at nearby Car Audio One, and I walked over to Empanada Spot to kill some time. The shopping center is small and quiet, and I wasn't sure what to expect - but I was very pleasantly surprised! The restaurant was very nice and well maintained or newly renovated. The Empanadas were delicious, as were the salsas (particularly the red Salsas). The Empanadas were a good size, but after initially ordering two I went back to order a third (and then talked myself into a fourth, LOL!).Overall would highly recommend Empanada Spot as a nice 'change of pace' from the normal fast casual dining spots; great food and friendly service made it a great experience.“
“Great service, not the best looking location, but some pretty darn good food! I’m petty picky about my pad Thai and they made it just right. Location isn’t the best looking but that’s not what we fatties are here for right!!!? Highly recommend :)“
“Came and ate here and had a few slushies. I had the Mexican Firing Squad, my husband had the Ube Colada. Both were delightful! To eat I had the Shrimp Fried Rice and my husband had the Fancy Grilled Cheese and added chicken. The food was delicious! Especially the SFR! It was a very large portion. A friend of ours had the wedge salad and it was huge and looked ? delicious. I will be ordering one next time. They had great music going on amd the staff were all super friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back!“
“We have ordered Kebabs before here, we recently ordered a meal kit that was all rice and hardly any meat, I mean it was a joke, its a $30 meal. I messaged them because we have ordered several times before and thought maybe they would try to make it right but they never replied. This was 2 weeks ago. We will never buy food here again! The servings are very small and there are tons of other places to eat or order take out around here if they want to be jerks about it! The food is average really, we order out frequently so as not to have to cook and live in the area. We got about $1 worth of rice and lettuce for a $30 meal plate, what a joke!“
“Frutti Mas is such a hidden jem! Whenever I come to town my family and I go and pick up my favorites. They are so welcoming and friendly and go above and beyond in giving the best service. Not to mention the food is delicious, we haven't had one thing we don't like! Their pozole is delicious, the tortas and wraps are so good. The smoothies are also so good. They over such a wide variety! Definitely check this place out!“
“Very modern and attractive open air setting. The patio on the water is great and design quite successfully brings the outdoors inside on a cool spring evening. We loved on our first visit which will definitely not be our last.Service was excellent too on a quiet Monday evening without a reservation.I normally have a fish entree and the oysters were tempting. But for some reason I chose the burger. It was delicious. They have a pretty good selection of wines by the glass, including a red blend called Pessimist which I buy by the bottle for home when it's available. Do try it. It is excellent!“
“First made the drive down to Blue Poke for a Yelp event, but came back a few times when I found myself in the area. There are a few other blue pokes that have since opened closer to central San Diego with one in North Park, but I think the quality varies from location to location- this location in National City being the best! First of all, the design of the store is so fun and I could tell it was clean and well maintained. I had a delicious poke bowl with my favorite spicy ahi (minced style). They have a good number of toppings to choose from along with great sauces. This is what I like to call "chipotle style" poke where you build your bowl, but everything was good! Easy parking to grab your bowl for take-out!“
“Freshly prepared food! The food is exceptional! Very tasty and well prepared and you can chose among many menu options. I love the service at the place and the chef is so friendly with the guests and always takes care to offer the best quality! I highly recommend this place.“
“Got the Mediterranean Bowl with tofu via delivery app. They know how to make a vegetarian dish that's for sure. Sour and salty dish well balanced with sweet potatoes and different textures. Not just healthy but tasty. Highly recommended.Vegetarian options: Meatless bowls and tofu as the protein option.“
“I always forget how good this place is for some reason. They knock it out of the park with really tasty, really creative sandwiches and salads. It’s sooo overpriced but it’s a solid treat every once in a while. Note that it is a bit slower than other places in the area, so make sure have about 10 mins to wait for your food after you order. If you have the time, it’s worth it. Also - get the pomegranate mint lemonade. If you’re already paying for the lunch, you won’t regret spending a bit more on that killer lemonade. Highly recommend all around.Dietary restrictions: Excellent gluten-free sandwich bread- not crumbly or dry.“
“I've been a customer since I was a teenager and lived down the street. Now I make the trip from the east county when I am craving a LOMO torta. Nothing like this combination and flavors. I like my lomo shredded, not the big slab of meat. Highly recommend it !!! My ultimate all time favorite!“
“Brooklyn Pizzeria is located on the corner of 4th and C Street in downtown San Diego. They have a good selection of pizza by the slice at lunchtime and a cool brick oven to cook their pies in. Service was friendly and they seem to do a good bit of business at this location. They have a few tables inside for dining as well as some window bar type seating by each window. The pizza as definitely solid and had a good flavor. The only thing I didn’t like so much was all the homeless people hanging around. It definitely takes away from the vibe of a good meal. All in all, thumbs up for food and service and thumbs down for atmosphere. Probably a better place to get take out from.“
“Tried this new little cozy place in my neighborhood that just opened, and it did not dissapoint. Food was amazing all freshly cooked. I ordered to go and my family loved it. The Drunken noodles with beef and shrimp was my favorite dish. The yellow curry was very tasty. Thai fried rice was on point and the crispy veggie eggrolls were good. Last but not least ..The mango sticky rice was excellent. Definetely will be coming back soon to try the Pad Thai noodles and the soups.??this could a new hidden ?. Enjoy!“
“Order your Monday special Brooklyn Pizza, 10 wings and three garlic knots. For 29.99. The pizza was pretty close to New York. I say acceptable. The wings were spicy hot and the garlic knots were exceptional. My suggestion would be have the wings sauce on the side. Would I go there again most definitely“
“Ah man! This pizza is delicious! We've been eating this pizza since 2000! I just ordered last night and we practically devoured a 20" and a 16", along with the buffalo wings! The buffalo wings were delicious, spiced just right! I almost didn't get any. If you want hotter you should call first. Yes we enjoyed a great pizza, wings, and a nice family size Greek salad! Eat this pizza guys, you'll definitely love it! Dine in too for lunch by the slice! Tell Louie thank you when you're done with your lunch, he'll definitely appreciate your business and remember you the next time you come!“
“Go inside lobby of 501 Office building. If you don’t know that this cafe is inside the back of the lobby of the office building at 501 Broadway, you’ll never find this place. There’s no sign outside for the bistro.I had the chicken salad sandwich. It was delicious. For us wannabe coffee snobs... The double espresso was bitter; perhaps because it was a little larger than I expected and using more water to provide a larger portion risks making a bitter espresso due to over extraction. The pastries looked delicious.Shop is cute, clean and comfy.“
“Wow, just wow! Who thought 13 year old boys could learn to cook so well! It was a 60 hour program on weekends from 9am-2pm. They learned so much and both chefs are so nice, helpful and talented. I would recommend this to all children and the parents! Bravo!“
“Service is quick and food is delicious! Only reason why they don't get five starts is because their green salsa tasted off when I got some yesterday. It was very watery and tasted weird. Other than that, the classic shrimp burrito was delicious.“
“So happy that this location came to Chula Vista. I use to live in Learn Mesa and would drive to this place after work. The tenders are always amazing and the food is always hot. Wanted to thank Jackelyn V for amazing service today! This location shares a parking lot with the car wash so parking isn't that challenging. I would recommend calling for pick up if you do not have a lot of time. Thank you for the amazing food!“
“Looking for a good, reasonable price lunch the 'never ending soup & salad' plus hot bread sticks is the deal $10.99 specialAll you can eat...but usually not necessary the servings are generous. We take a $6 to go entree home for another day.Service is just as good as if you ordered a $100 meal.“
“Food, service, and ambiance are top notch! Food: -Toasted Italian sub everything on it. It was exactly how I wanted it to taste; crunchy on the outside, warm, soft, some spice and a lot of flavor. -Pastrami with the works. So flavorful and good! Service: The kind gentleman at the counter suggested the heated Italian sub and I am so glad he did! Great suggestion ( and he was wearing cool glasses) Ambiance: Located on a corner downtown makes the window watching perfect. The walls are lined with windows, there is an adorable counter to eat at as well as a few tables. The funk music playing gave this place a cool and inviting old school vibe. 90% of the sandwich patrons were in fluorescent work vests eluding that this is the local fave amongst the real people of the city! I highly recommend coming here!“
“THE STAFF ARE VERY KIND VERY FRIENDLY VERY COURTEOUS AND THE FOOD IS BY FAR SOME OF THE BEST THAT YOU'LL FIND IN IMPERIAL BEACH LET ALONE SAN DIEGO. ALTHOUGH THE PRICES HAVE GONE UP BY ABOUT A BUCK OVERALL IN THE PAST COUPLE MONTHS THE FOOD IS WELL WORTH IT.“
