“My husband and I had a great dinner at Brigantine. Our server, Fernando, was really kind and helpful with recommendations - along with suggestions on places to visit while in San Diego. All of the food that we ordered was great. The jumbo crab cake was our all time favorite! We also had the grilled oysters, the chopped chicken salad, and the blackened swordfish. Everything was fantastic!“
“A delicious fish taco for on-the-go when I am crossing the Coronado bridge heading home! Economically priced, flavorful and perfect for one-handed dining (smile). I prefer the standard fish option vice the various shrimp and "protein-of-the-month" offerings.“
“The freshness of my sandwich was great. I got the chipotle chicken and avocado sandwich. The sandwich it self lacked flavor but the quality of the bread was appreciated. The vibe and freshness of this location is why I highly recommend it. It’s also close to many stores and the beach. I’ll come in for a pasty on my next visit they look yummy.“
“Food was nothing short of incredible. Tried the Super Beef and a Buffalo Tender Sub. The beef was super tender, sliced very thin, and piled high. The sauce was reminiscent of a bbq sauce but much lighter with a thinner consistency. Sauce was tangy and slightly sweet and works perfect with the flavor of the beef. The tenders were perfect and stayed crispy even when tossed in buffalo. Portions of both were large and absolutely worth the price. Try the tortellini salad! Customer service was great as well!“
“The food items were delicious, great selection of interesting dishes. The wine list was impressive (we’ve been to major wine areas all over the planet). However, what we were most impressed with was our server Olivia. She knew the menu items very well - could answer any and all questions that we had. She expressed herself very positively. Rather than ask “are you still working on that?”; she asked “are you still enjoying your meal?” Rather than reply to a thank you with “no problem” or “no worries”; Olivia replied with “my pleasure.” When we go back; we’ll make a point of asking for Olivia!!!“
“The Lavasanipour’s weren’t looking for a new favorite pizza place but….. If you happen to be, know that Mike’s will definitely impress. As soon as you walk in, welcomed with a warm greeting as if you were family arriving. Can’t say enough good things about this place! Big, HUGE shoutout to Massachusetts Mike’s team. What a fantastic touch to San Diego’s cuisine.“
“My friend and I went here yesterday for their new brunch service and it was really great! The food was excellent (we had the fruit w/ mascarpone and I had the breakfast sandwich w/ potatoes) and the flavors were perfect. The decor was really cool and everyone that worked there was really lovely. I had no idea what to expect since we kind of found this place by chance, but I highly recommend it. It is in a bit of a random location, but don't be dissuaded by that. As an extra bonus, they have those amazing Japanese toilets in the bathroom, so don't skip that haha.“
