“All the food was outstanding. The raw fish and seafood was unbelievably fresh and aptly paired with elevated fresh flavors. The tostadas reminded me of Contramar in Cdmx, but even better (dare i say).
The atmosphere is beautiful, has a massive garden space, scattered lighting, copious succulents. It feels like an escape right in LA. The service is warm, personable, efficient.
Definitely worth the trip and such a great find.“

“Had the bacon breakfast burrito. It was off the charts delicious. The burrito was all about quality. First, Im almost certain the tortilla was freshly made. It was light biting through warm butter soft and tender not doughy. Then there was this gentle crispness from the bacon and potatoes. Absolute culinary perfection. I will be coming here often. Its a small but quant and comfortable restaurant with plenty of seating inside and outside. They also have clean and comfortable restroom“

“I love this place. I am from Mexico and this place is just perfect, same quality of a good good restaurant in Oaxaca. The hand made Tortillas are the best in Los Angeles, loved the mole, I had the chile relleno, and it was an amazing vegetarian option for me. Service was so warm and friendly. I want to take all my friends to this place so Definitely I will be back!“

“This is a go to place for our family. Consistently good. We get takeout more frequently but the times we have eaten there have been nice. There is a little covered patio in the back with more tables. The service is fast and friendly. Love this place!“

“So glad my daughter and I stopped here. We each had breakfast burritos and they were excellent. Not only delicious, but big. We both tried the hot salsa and liked it. The atmosphere was very inviting. The service was the best I've received in a very long time. The server was very attentive and sweet. The cook came out and asked if we were enjoying our meal. He was interested in our feedback. We both decided we would be back even though we don't live in the area. It was definitely worth the effort of finding parking. Don't pass this place up
PS, the cook let us try the birria. That's what I'm ordering next time. Yum“

The atmosphere is great, the staff is awesome, the food is simple, consistent, and always tastes great! Honestly, I was Very upset when Roy said he was going to close after so many years... but I'm glad he changed his mind! :) L'Abeja truly is a gem to the community! “I came to Google to review this place and help them out, but I see they already have amazing reviews and rightfully so.
I’ve been ordering caldo de Albondigas (meatball soup) to go for the last five years and it never disappoints. They give you all the fixings like cilantro, onion, limes, and handmade tortillas along with chips and salsa. I most recently ordered Chilaquiles Verdes as I did not want to pay $15 at el zarape (nearby) For the same proportion (eggs not included) and no sides. The Chilaquiles from El Comal come with eggs, a side of rice and beans, chips and salsa for $16. Worth it. The to-go packaging on this plate could use something more sturdy, but they could serve it on a sheet of aluminum foil and I would still eat it. It’s that good. The salsa is an enjoyable spicy yet flavorful. 10/10 would recommend“

“Love this place! We have been here before a few times and are always satisfied with anything we order. This time we decided not to break the bank for Valentine's day. And it was the perfect choice! The Guacamole and chips is a must. Everything we got was very yummy but the star of the show was the Guacamole and the baja shrimp 🍤 tacos 🌮 😋!! I like the vibes here and the service is on point. If there is only one negative it's parking.“

“I've always enjoyed eating here and the guys and ladies that work here have never got my order wrong..until today. But when I took the food back to have the error corrected I was met with a swift resolution, hot delicious tacos and even a free soda for my troubles. “Had a lovely meal here. We've been fans for Wes Avila since his days running the Guerilla Tacos truck. MXO has a beautiful atmosphere. We really liked being on the patio. The design touches are fun and modern. The food was absolutely wonderful. We especially enjoyed the braised cabbage, but honestly, everything we ordered was delightful. The bone marrow was flavorful and rich. The hamachi was tender and the sauces it was served with perfectly complimented the fish. The asparagus was tasty and has a complex flavor. We loved our meal and will definitely be back.“
