“I had yogurt ice cream at The Yogurt Mill for the first time this past week and was very pleased with the atmosphere, customer service and what I ordered. I had the chocolate yogurt ice cream with milk chocolate chips in a medium size and it was perfect and delicious - and I am particular about what I like in yogurt ice cream because they are not all the same in quality.The owner of the business was very pleasant and helpful and the store was attractive and clean. We go to La Mesa's main street now and then and now I know where to go in the future for great yogurt ice cream there.“

“Sooo delicious. Been coming here for 15 years +. I don't live in the neighborhood but I still visit for the watermelon ice cream drink and the ham tortas. Hands down the best smoothie and torta in San Diego. They also have their fruiteria next door where you can pick up fresh produce. Highly recommend trying senor mangos.“

The hummus veggie bagel on a great sourdough multi grain bread, because the bagel ingredients were unknown, was delicious. “I LOVE acai bowls and was pleasantly surprised by Northside Shack's variety of toppings. The bowls are expensive, as many are these days, but the large ($17) was great to share between two people. You can have as many bases (acai, pitaya, or coconut) as you'd like with unlimited toppings. There are some additional toppings available for a cost, and adding peanut butter for $2 was very worthwhile. Peanut butter complements the fruit so well and there was plenty in the bowl. There was a bit of a wait as the bases may be blended fresh and it was busy on a weekend around noon. There aren't any tables but a few benches and chairs outside the shop. The North Park Mini Park is a couple blocks away if you're looking for a picnic table. They gave us a plate with our to-go packaged bowl which really helped catch the many toppings piled on top of the large bowl.“

“Frutti Mas is such a hidden jem! Whenever I come to town my family and I go and pick up my favorites. They are so welcoming and friendly and go above and beyond in giving the best service. Not to mention the food is delicious, we haven't had one thing we don't like! Their pozole is delicious, the tortas and wraps are so good. The smoothies are also so good. They over such a wide variety! Definitely check this place out!“

I love the ambience, decorations & the large & easy to read signs. It's like love literally infuses her place, so the name is aptly fitting. I got a jasmine, dragonfruit boba & it was delicious. “ Strawberry matcha (seasonal) 5/5 (top 2 I've had in SD) Lavender London fog (hot) 4.5/5 Ursula's Revenge lemonade 4/5 - at first tasted a little weak but magically had a lot of flavor later Mermaid toast 3/5 - pretty but was more or less cream cheese on sourdough with sprinkles. My daughter loved it, though? Fruit cup 2/5 - about half banana with strawberries and blueberries. Meh, will skip next time.I couldn't really taste the matcha or early grey in the drinks so it was kind of like really good strawberry milk and lavender milk. I had no problem with this and will happily come back and get them both again but others may not.“

“Starting my day in the Mission Valley area and found this nice coffee shop. It’s in a business area that you’d never really think about going to. Free one hour parking through a ticketed gate. The caramel and salt cold brew is YUM. Highly recommended. Also had the egg, sausage and cheese breakfast sandwich. Hit the spot. They have some different drink options such as super smoothies and cold brew cocktails. Definitely recommended if you’re near the area. Very close to Dave and Busters also.“

“My wife and I both ordered the 3 day juice cleanse. I am NOT a beet fan (one of the juices was made with beets) but it was soooo good! The 6th juice of the day was my favorite- kind of like a dessert at the end of the day. We loved the juices so much, we ordered the cleanse again (allow them at least 5 hours to make before pick up). We both feel great and it was an excellent kick start to our new healthier lifestyle! On another note: their acai bowls are delicious!!! “Perfect hole in the wall froyo stop. They offer açaí bowls, smoothies, milkshakes, and a variety of frozen yogurt flavors, toppings, and sauces to drizzle. There is always parking available. “We are on vacation and decided to stop by for breakfast. We highly recommend this beautiful establishment. The coffee is superb and so is the food. I had the cafe mocha with almond milk and avocado toast. The service was excellent and the staff are super attentive. Very friendly too. “I ordered the steak burrito and the Aloha White Mocha. The burrito was pretty good and I like that the tortilla was cooked. The Aloha White Mocha was a little off to me. The drink was good but it seemed watered down or something. It was even a double shot espresso and it tasted like it was a regular coffee. Overall I would go back and try another drink so I would suggest someone give this place a try.“

“I’m giving this place a 4/5 stars. I like the fresh juice and smoothie options, the lunch special and the sandwiches are great too. The reason it got a 4/5 is because sometimes they are short staffed and the orders take a long time. I also wish that they had more sauce options for their sandwiches. They only have honey mustard and mayo as an option. Other than that I’m pleased with the food and service at Juice Adventure. Keep it up!“

“This place was a nice find. I love açai bowls, and this place did not disappoint. I met the owner Kevin who made my bowl. He was a really friendly guy and made sure that my experience was fantastic. I like the fact that you can make your own bowl, by choosing the ingredients, sidenote, they make it you choose it. He said that all of the fruit is fresh that they shop for daily. Everything is organic they have seating inside and out if you like me and you love this type of food don’t miss out on this place.“

“Been meaning to try this spot and finally got the craving for a bagel. I ordered a salmon bagel ($9.50) and my friend ordered two stuffed croissants ($6.50 each).Salmon bagel: on first glance I thought they robbed me but after my first bite I was pleased. It looked like they only gave me slivers of salmon, but they stuffed bits of it on the top and bottom piece. That thing was evenly blended with all ingredients. Only note is not much cream cheese but I’m biased because I’m a cream cheese addict lol. Would definitely recommendStuffed croissants: they did not look or taste the best. Both were Soggy mush in the center and crispy on the outside. Favorite parts were the burnt pieces around the thing, not a fan of the filling. The cheese reminded me of low quality mashed potatoes. Would not recommend.“

“Came to this drive thru to try some coffee, my favorite part is that you can park at the target and sit outside or you can just pull up with your car. The baristas were nice and helpful. The drinks we got were a bit slow to come out, which is something you should consider coming here, despite the drive thru (greater than 10min for 2 drinks). Also the drinks we got were pretty sweet so make sure you ask for less sugar if you don't want it to be too sweet. The outdoor seating is cute and not a bad first date spot if the weather is nice!“

The interior certainly had a bright and lively vibe that would fit much better when the weather wasn't so wet. Sadly, the rain made the sky grey, so I couldn't appreciate the inside of the place much. It sort of blended in with the outside. There was one man that served me, and he looked to be the only one there at that time. Around 11am. But he was nice, greeted me with a smile and seemed happy to take my order and prepare my smoothie. I ordered the Powerberry smoothie and it was quite refreshing (haha). Not harsh. And the banana part certainly stuck with me after every sip. I liked it. “As a nice hangover treat, I DoorDashed everbowl. I'm not usually a matcha girl but for some reason it sounded good so I ordered a build your own with matcha and coco base. Since I don't usually like matcha, it makes sense why I wasn't crazy about this base but the coco was AMAZING. The coco base tasted like coconut ice cream. Plus agave and almond butter is always a great combo. What really got me was the everwich sandwich. It's chocolate açaí in between two vegan cookies and tasted like a chocolate ice cream sandwich. “A Vietnamese friend of mine introduced me to Banh Mi and I would try it whenever I have the chance. A coworker told me about this place, so I had to try it. I am glad I did try it. The bread was good and not chewy like some when the sandwich is cold. The fillings were generous and tasted really good.
