“I had probably the absolute best chicken mole enchiladas I have ever had outside of Puebla Mexico. My partner had a chickpea cerviche which was really yummy. What a surprise accidental find. To me, it's the best Mexican restaurant in the entire valley. The decor is quite pretty.”
“Staff is so helpful and fun to be with, the cocktails are wonderful and wine is lovely, and the food choices are incredible!”
“We dined here last night for our anniversary not expecting much as we were just in Paris last month (Also location is on a strip mall). Needless to say we were pleasantly surprised of the food and service. Hubby had the escargot and I had the octopus for starters. He had the veal cordon bleu and I had the halibut for entree. Kudos to Chef Emmanuel for a very tasty French food and special shoutout to our server Gina. She is exceptional, seasoned and we can tell she loves her job. We will definitely be back if we’re in the area and recommend to friends and family. Thank you for a wonderful dinner.”

“Best breakfast ever!!!!!! They took care of my gluten free needs. I couldn’t have toast but I got to taste the homemade jam. It was delicious.
Dietary restrictions: I am gluten free and the build your own omelette was amazing along with the country potatoes. They gave me sliced tomatoes instead of toast.”
“Stop for coffee and breakfast while riding my bike. Great place for fresh food and great food. Service was a little off but will not deter me from returning. Will highly recommend for anybody and everybody who is looking for something good and unique in Old Town La Quinta California.”

“I usually go to the Palm Desert location, which I love, but decided to try the La Quinta location. It was awesome and the atmosphere was a little more cozy. I love their Napa Valley pizza and the green beans for an appy are always a good choice.
We have to give credit to Rick (who works there) that we unexpectedly met at a local grocery store the night before, who encouraged us to try the La Quinta location! ?”

“Took our neighbors for their 40th anniversary. Even though they’ve lived in the valley for multiple decades, they had never been there (which is what I had hoped so as to surprise them). Took us newbies (less than 3 years) to introduce them to one of the valley’s hidden gems. They were captivated and very impressed and appreciative of their dining experience at this lovely setting. Each of us had a different entree and everyone was super pleased with their choice. Our guest has named Melange her new favorite restaurant.”

“I have found it to be hit and miss. I ordered the chicken and waffles that was supposed to come with pickled jalapeños and bacon onion jam. Now there were like 2 jalapeños and I'm sorry but picked onions are not bacon onion jam. And if such a thing existed, it wasn't on my plate and I had to ask for syrup that took over 10 minutes to get. But the avocado fries were great and were actually what the menu said it would be.”
“This was a local take out order. All items were picked up as described. The highlight is the bread. Big sandwich offerings. It was tough to make a decision on what to eat.
Chocolate chip cookies were also ordered and enjoyed! Really hearty and full of chips. Thumbs up.
I would order from them again.
Parking: Lot is shared but has many spots available.”

“Delicious food! We had vegetarians and meat eaters and everyone left happy. There is a reason the Grubhub reviews are 5/5. The food! The Orange tofu was the best we’ve ever had. Very crispy on the outside and soft inside.Vegans and Vegetarians will love this place. My husband got a garlic fish dish that he loved as well.We dined in, but noticed most people order it to go. It’s definitely an old school vibe. Not modern decor. Not really a first date place.Staff was super friendly.Cute mom and pop restaurant. Support small business while eating delicious Chinese food.”
“Every time I go Basil Thai, I'm always impressed by each prepared dish. Each entree I have had has its own unique flavor and taste absolutely delicious. You will not be disappointed. ⭐⭐⭐⭐”
“Had the most incredible meal at this restaurant has definitely become my favorite. You have to try this restaurant out it will become your favorite as well.”

Takeout Restaurants
“I vacation in Palm Desert area, frequently, from Canada. We have eaten at this restaurant evey time we come down since it opened a couple of years ago. Last time 5 times in 2 weeks.
This is a fabulous restaurant, with excellent food, staff, atmosphere and prices. Their steaks are perfect, but their other offerings are really good too.
Last time down, they had lamb rack brought back for a limited time only, which was to die for. But this time down it was not on the menu. Alas. But what the heck. But bring it back again, "Eh"!!
This place gets busy fast at dinner time. So, tip, eh, would be to look on their web site, and see wait times, then book, so when you show up you know when abouts you will get in. And if you time it right, you will get right in when you arrive (or close). And avoid longer waits.
Would highly recommend this restaurant, not just for streaks, but for all the rest of chicken, seafood, etc. But bring the "Baaah" back please, eh.”
“We went there tonight for the first time after getting a flyer for them. The dining area is clean and nice decor but a bit crowded when navigating between tables. We were asked for our drink order right away, and it delivered quickly. The male server came to take our order but we were not quite ready yet since this was our first visit and wanted to look over the menu. The server turned and left in a huff 🙄, sorry we were putting him out… Later a different server came to take our order. Again, I felt we were putting her out as well, not very hospitable or welcoming. Our meal arrived and it was very good; we really enjoyed it. Unfortunately after the meal was delivered our server went missing in action, no check back or refill on our drinks. In fact she was so busy chatting with the table behind me that she just reached over to set the bill for the meal on our table without breaking stride in her conversation with the other table. When it was time to go we asked for to-go containers for what we had not eaten; again I felt like we interrupted her as she returned with the containers dropped them on the table, turned and walked away. Later she returned to pick up our payment, not a thank you or how was your visit just grab and go. Bottom line for us, while the food was very good, well prepared and presented. The service was very underwhelming. We will have to think about returning for a second visit.”
“When going here, be prepared for very friendly staff along with delicious drinks and food. Got a bunch of the bao buns and taiyaki flavors to try along with our drinks and they were all amazing. There’s also a combo deal with any drink choice and Korean corn dog for $11 which is an amazing deal for the tasty duo. Definitely recommend the rose milk tea, crème brûlée fresh milk tea, any of the taiyaki flavors (personal favorites are the chocolate churro, cheesecake, chocolate/nutella banana, and cheese and jalapeño), and the Korean corn dogs.

“7 months ago-Edit This is so much more than a sandwich or lunch. This is high quality products at a fair price. More over, the staff is friendly and the owner is so involved in the community and so giving and philanthropic. I cannot help but want to solicit his business more because of this!”
“I went on a date with a special woman and it was a great experience. The food is excellent as well as the staff. Their sushi is a work of art that tastes excellent. The restaurant has great ambiance and I would recommend going there for a wonderful experience. I Love it.

“Love the food and milkshakes, better than McDonald's. Took no more than 10-20 minutes to get our whole order in. I loved the taste of the Double Famous Star. It tastes exactly what a burger should be, unlike McDonald's which pretty much don't have taste for their burgers these days (based on what my taste buds tasted)”
“This McDonalds seems to be better than most in the area (there a good one off of 48 & Jackson in Indio too). The employees tend to be fairly nice and halfway knowledgeable in their skill set (as anywhere there's always one to mess it up). They get the order right and hot 8 of 10 times. Prices have gone up and the meal deals are hit and miss with stuff you really want.”
“Love this Applebees and their 9pm to closing extra Happy Hour. Enjoyed their 8-oz sirloin, seasoned fries with a tall Long Island Iced Tea. Fries are great...crispy outside, tender inside. Broccoli is cooked just right. Usually, the steak is spot on medium rare, but was a bit less tender tonight and one spot of grizzle, although the flavor was there. The music was hopping, and I couldn't help but tap my foot along as I chewed! Must have looked a sight, with head and shoe movin'. Bartender was great in welcoming guests, taking orders, and generally being everywhere at once. She did an excellent job even in this last hour of the night. Overall, great meal, and I'll be back.”
“A Starbucks these days is just a Starbucks. The chain that launched a thousand real estate careers has pretty much homogenized itself into just another coffee shop. The thrill of going into the warm, inviting "third place" is gone. The Christmas time thrill of the "magic", not so much.
This location stands out a little, it still has seats around small tables, a community high top and one or two padded chairs. The wi-fi is still free and there are a pretty good number of electric outlets. But its all-neutral colors and hard edges. And a not too easy drive-thru lane.
But, the crew here is particularly sharp, they understand how to run the place and seldom get it wrong. The drive thru staff is efficient, they usually have pleasant words. Yeah, there are other locations that are closer, but this is the one we like the best.
I like Starbucks Coffee. It is my favorite; I used to go every day. Now it's once or twice a week. It is not as warm and welcoming. The prices seem to increase by the order, and long before "inflation" gave an excuse. Others, like San Diego's Buzz have the edge on ambiance now.
Remember when they promised coffee would always be their core product. Now you're lucky to find a package of beans at a Starbucks.
Parking: The lot is small, there is parking in the center lot, but not close and you have to cross a travel lane. They have occasional jam ups.”
“The girl who works mornings (says Jazmyn on receipt) is the sweetest and kindest personality every time I stop by. That kind of consistency deserves a raise just for her pleasantry and I hope she does well and prospers in life. Taco Bell, good hire. ??? Ya did good.”

“My kind of place! Here in the desert, there are people from everywhere. And whatever team you follow, you can watch it here. Spacious, large place has many big screens. I especially love B&B for NFL Sundays. All the games & then lots of good beer brands on tap (and in case you gulp instead of sipping, the an extra large glass over a pint for your favorite suds). Full bar too. I gave five stars all across except for the food which I gave 4 of 5. It's very good bar food, but not great. If you go for the 10 am NFL games, I recommend the omelets. It can get a bit noisy for football, but in the 5 or six times I've been, the folks there are respectful and nice and I've never had a hard time finding a seat near a TV with my game. Lots of knowledgable friendly staff here. Now B&B is my desert sports place, forget about Beer Hunter and other dusty, dated old places.”
“Yum, yum, yum. Very nice place with great flavors. I can really recommend mango, chocolate and salted caramel pretzel. Large menu with toppings and good stuff.Place is extremely clean and neat. No background music (but tv was on in the kids corner) so it feels a bit "empty".But over all a great place and we are definitely coming back.”
“I love the newly renovated ambiance, the yummy vanilla latte with oat milk, and the exciting new updates Jodie from CaliRosina is putting towards this cute cafe in Old Town La Quinta!!! She truly believes in providing customers with the highest quality ingredients made without fillers and artificial ingredients. She sources some of the best tea from around the world and coffee from small business roasters that take pride in the products they produce. She's filled with detailed knowledge on tea + chocolates from Cali Rosina, and she's bringing her very educated background to Main Street Coffee! The best quality beverages are worth the wait, hand crafted to order. As she's putting her love and efforts into Main Street Coffee while balancing Cali Rosina, be sure to give her some grace during this transitional time period. It's a lot of work behind the scenes, but she's always soo delightful you wouldn't know just how much love is poured into every drink. I'm excited to hang out and enjoy lattes at the cafe this fall season! Well done Jodie + Team!!!!”
“Came during lunch rush, there were only two girls working the line. Despite how crazy busy they were they had a smile and were quick. The food was freshly delicious. The young ladies greeting everyone as they walked in. Will definitely come back.Having friendly fast workers is a plus”
“Have the Jalapeño Margarita….in fact have 2 or 3. They are great.”

“I have been getting threatening texts from an old boyfriends brother who I haven't seen in 30 years. He accuses me of being the lover of Michelle Salvatore and says a lot of horrible things about her. I googled her and it brought me here. Then I see his review defending her honor calling himself Pastor David Spencer DeHoyos. WOW! Its like someone who steals from you then helps you look for what they took. Michell this is your rumor culprit. You must have turned him down before. Smart girl.”
“Such a great place with a friendly staff and amazing food! Must have the house made buttermilk biscuit!”
