“I took two friends to Reve to celebrate their birthdays, and we had a relaxing and delicious meal! The atmosphere in the outdoor heated garden tent was inviting and charming, and our waiter Joel was welcoming and gracious. We all enjoyed our starters of courgeres and pomme frites, and the Reve salad was delicious. The entrees of petrale sole and scallops were also delicious and beautifully presented. The desserts of chocolate mousse and lemon tart with birthday candles were a delightful finale. I'm looking forward to returning for another wonderful dinner! So nice to have such a great restaurant in Lafayette.“

“The food is so delicious, and comforting. The focaccia is amazing, I recommend adding it to the meal. The only downside is at the end of the meal there are two additional surcharges you must pay, one being a 20% service charge. Which almost doubled the price of the whole meal.“

“Wow, this restaurant really does live up to the hype! It’s such a relief when that happens. lol. We’ve been wanting to check out Belotti for a while and finally came in for dinner. Outside seating was pleasant in the spring and the ambiance had a gentle, upbeat buzz. Wine list was nice and I was grateful for the thoughtful, well-balanced mocktail on the drink menu (I’d love to see them expand their NA program because the one I had was excellent).Food was authentically North Italian. Pasta was delicate, sauces were flavorful, courses were indulgent without being overly heavy. There were also some interesting dishes that I haven’t seen on Bay Area menus before, so that was pretty cool.Overall, it was a good time. Definitely keeping this restaurant in our rotation.Vegetarian options: Overall menu is meat oriented, but plenty of clearly-labeled vegetarian options that are fairly vibrant. They could probably stand to add a little more veggies to their dishes, but definitely have options for vegetarians.“

“Blossom and Root is a sunny and uplifting dining experience.Staff are extremely friendly and organized as a team. They all worked together to make sure each table was taken care of properly. Joe our server, expertly paced out our meal, allowing us to savor each bite. To drink, we began with The Mermaid, the Chai Espresso Martini along with Crispy Rice & Mushroom Lettuce Cups. My husband said that the first course was 500 times better than he thought it was going to be. The drinks are creative, playful, and delicious. Our lettuce cups with the killer au jus had simple flavors that danced together brilliantly. It lit up our appetite and curiosity. We were ready to try more from the menu.Next, we shared a bowl of Mushroom Chowder along with the B&R Smash Burger accompanied with coleslaw. Too bad we were seated near people because we wanted to lick the plates clean. Again, everything was well thought out and executed. We appreciated how folks came to fill up our water without asking and never rushed us. Joe our server was very friendly and welcoming. For dessert, we went with Joe’s guidance and had the Chocolate S’more Mousse along with 2 cappuccinos. What can I say, other than to quote my husband who said, “This is the best vegan meal I have ever had—and I am a meat man!”Thank you, Joe and everyone who helped make this afternoon out tasty and memorable!Parking: Street parking is abundant and there is a public lot around the corner on E. Prospect Avenue.“

“We went to the library social club for the first time last weekend and had such a great time! The venue itself was cozy, the flatbread was filling and helped with the wine tastings. What was really great was the hospitality! Benjamin was accommodating throughout our visit. He really went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable time. He was attentive, fun, and made excellent recommendations based on our preferences. He unfortunately was dealing a challenging situation with an irrational customer, but he was super professional. He provided the customer options and tried to resolve their issues (even though it wasn’t really his or the club’s fault). We signed up for a membership because of our experience and the service. Looking forward to attending fun events!“

“I really love this place. This oysters bar is hidden gems in downtown martinez. As you know, it is so hard to find oysters bar in Contra Costa county. This bar located in the main street plaza. My husband and I are oysters lover and we are so happy to find this placeOysters were so fresh and tasty. Each week will have different kinds of oysters, you can call them to ask which kind of oysters they serve on that week.Clam chowder was so good, too. But we prefer it to be more a little bit salty. It wasn’t a big deal, we just add some more salt ourself. We went there during happy hour (Wednesday-Friday from 3-6 pm) we ordered “the mother shucker”, it comes with beer or other beverages (depending on your choice). With that $120 price plus $1 off on each oysters, it was really really good deal.Another thing we were impressed is all servers were so friendly, everyone was so nice. This made us enjoyed our food even more.We definitely recommend this place! we love to support small business!“

“We had a lot of fun at this restaurant. There were six of us. The food was very good, especially the salad bar (many, many choices, very clean, well-presented). Lots of variety of meats that were presented at the table but I heard that a lot of the chicken was dry. The sirloin, ribs, rib eye, etc. were excellent as was the garlic cheese bread (yum!). . There was no shortage of items when we first sat down, so that was great. Service was a bit lacking. Had to ask for several things twice, and this was at a time before the restaurant was really busy. Asked for salt and pepper, because they are not on any of the tables. Had to ask for clean plates several times. The desserts were huge and as it was my birthday, my dessert was free. Was nice that the wait people sang happy birthday to me. Although overall it was a good experience and I had a great time with my family, the tab was ginormous - $700 for 6 of us. Word to the wise, leftovers aren't permitted (i.e. no doggy bags). Would I recommend? Absolutely - however I can't afford to go very often.“

The crème brûlée was tasty but a little less crisp on top than would have been ideal. Overall a good place to grab a bite of comfort food.“

“Pretty good restaurant in Walnut Creek for some classic Italian dishes. The dining space is clean and gives more of an open family feeling to the place. They do also have a nice bar by the front that is kind of separated from the rest of the dining area. The drinks are a little hit or miss here, though. They do skimp on thr alcohol a little bit here, so make sure you order a more liquor-heavy drink or stick with their selection of wines. The food is great and really delicious. There was nothing that our table did not enjoy eating. They do have changing specials, and I highly recommend trying them. The desserts were also very good. Make sure to try their tiramisu since they do give a good portion of it. Overall a great place to take a date or the family.Dietary restrictions: They are able to serve gluten-free pasta upon request.Parking: There are plenty of parking garages if you want to spend money. Not that much free street parking around, though.Kid-friendliness: Good place to take kids for a nice meal with the family.“
