“Incredible ragu! Meatballs; soft, cooked perfect…Only not nice thing was the toilets… the place of it, I could see some dirty areas close to the kitchen… the cabinet was dripping water..They were too busy I can understand that.Still really good and I recommend!“
“Beautiful Italian menu with lots of variety. No beach view but still close to the shore. Service was really nice... polite, engaging, attentive. We had the meatball sandwich, three pizzas, the bread, chicken parmesan and the ravioli. Everyone enjoyed their meals, although there was agreement that the food was just slightly under seasoned. Great spot for a quick lunch. The favorite was the chicken parmesan.“
“GG’s Bistro is a rare find: excellent food in a tourist town. I went today and loved it! If you’re willing to walk just a block up from the tourist traps, GG’s offers a clean and spacious new outdoor patio, as well as a nicely decorated indoor dining room. Service is very pleasant. They offered me a taste of Turkish Raki, and gave me good advice over all.I recommend the Meze Platter. And I loved the blackened salmon sandwich, which I ordered today for lunch.Parking: There is ample parking in the paid public parking lot behind the establishment.“
“Great food, great service, and the waiters really wait on you. The team takes great pride in the details. We felt like part of their family from the moment you walked in.Thank you for the great memory! I love this Italian restaurant.(part of our 35year anniversary / road trip)“
“This was our first time back since the new owners took over. We were there for OC restaurant Week. We had the set menu, but there were many other items that looked good enough for a second visit. Our server was helpful and efficient. We added the wine paring with our meal. All of the wines were delicious. The timing of the wines with the meal could have been better coordinated, but that is a minor note. Will definitely be back to try some of the Greek options on the menu.“
“You can't go wrong with a Biggaslice of your favorite specialty pizza, all with a nice view of the ocean and the street. My friends and I have been going to Gina's Pizza for years (even at the old location in the north end of Laguna Beach), we love this place! I always recommend at least trying to get a BiggaSlice once in your lifetime! This is my go-to spot for pizza in Laguna Beach!“
“This Italian restaurant offers a fantastic dining experience. The staff is exceptionally nice and friendly. The food is incredibly delicious, and the desserts are simply phenomenal! Although the place was a bit crammed, it didn't take away from the overall positive experience. The cleanliness of the establishment adds to its appeal. A great spot for delicious Italian cuisine with a welcoming atmosphere.“
“We had spent the day at the beach and walking by I noticed how yummy the food looked and immediately requested an indoor table (it was a little chilly when the wind blew). It wasn't that busy- there were more people on the patio than indoors. I will return one day to eat in that gorgeous outdoor patio.I wanted a nice meal with wine. The sauvignon blanc was not the greatest for $16 a glass -but the delicious bread came out warm, with basil infused evoo and that definitely made up for it.The service was exceptional. Our young bespectacled server was fantastic - quick, kind, and smiled at our young boys. I was glad we had him because the rest of the staff appeared so serious and unsmiling. The Mama mia meatballs were a hit with the kids. They didn't like the butternut ravioli - "too sweet".My mussels linguine was okay - the sauce tasted more like very salty pasta water, but the noodles were al dente and the mussels were fresh-tasting. I gave most of it to my 8 year old, who thought it was great. They have a long list of gelatos, but we ordered two servings of warmed chocolate cake pudding things that came with a fantastic vanilla gelato on the side. The boys loved it.Overall I would definitely return and try other items on the menu.“
“The food is amazing. Very authentic pizza and the homemade pastas are unique and flavorful. The only downside on the menu is dessert. There is a hazelnut chocolate torte that tastes waxy, the panna cotta is good but not great and they add a lot of unnecessary toppings like black sesame seeds, and finally the gelato was icy, not creamy. I won't stop coming here because of the dessert but just be forewarned. If it's your birthday just hope they have tiramisu which is often the dessert of the day and quite good. Also, I don't understand the need for club music. It takes away from the ambiance. We always opt to sit outside where we can hear one another and they are more than accommodating.“
“As someone who moved to California from New Jersey, I have pretty high pizza standards and have had a tough time finding a go-to spot that tastes like home….until NOW!!! One bite of the cheese pizza transported me back to NY. I live in LA and will happily make the 1.5 hour trip back to Brooklyn City Market any time, it’s really that worth it!!!“
“The food and ambiance was amazing , the food was flavorful and the atmosphere was great but felt very crowded in the small space . Only one gender nurtural bathroom so at times there was a long line . Our server seemed to give decent service to everyone but our table , she gave every other table touches and only checked in once after we had already finished our food . We felt very rushed. Overall I would recommend this place for the food and if you're in a hurry for table service food.“
“aPizza Doho is one of the best new restaurants to pop up in Dana Point. The pizzas are creative and flavors are always on point. Service team is fantastic - always a great experience and welcoming vibe. Personal favorites are the Stingray pizza, the Frito Misto appetizer and the Doho Chop salad. Also their lunch special is the best deal in town and can easily feed 2-3 people. Parking is challenging in the center, but the fight for a spot is worth it for aPizza Doho!“
“Pizza Amore Cafe is our new favorite pizza! I can't have gluten and their Gluten-free is absolutely yummy!! I also can't have garlic so that means no sauce and each time they have made my pizza perfectly!! I highly recommend them for tasty pizza ( Gluten-free & regular) and outstanding customer service!!!!Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free & garlic allergy“
“Vegetarian options: I can't honestly speak to this since I don't pay attention to it.Dietary restrictions: I asked about ingredients that my guests couldn't have and was graciously accommodated.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessibility from the front patio, through the restaurant to the back patio and at least the one bathroom I used.“
“Last night we stopped by LL Farro. We were promptly seated. We were also greeted by Chef O! We ordered bread and stuffed squash blossoms. For our main dish we ordered halibut with farro and spaghetti. Everything was great. It was great meeting Chef O and Fernando.“
“One of my favorite local spots. The food is always on point and fresh. The service is always great. Go for breakfast and get some incredible pastries. They’re delicious and they rotate the selection constantly which makes it fun. Their pasta is made in house, so we love going for dinner as well. I’ve tried several of the pasta dishes and I’ve never been disappointed. I could ramble on forever. Just make reservations (you have to call at least 24 hours in advance) and leave a little extra time to park. The lot in the back is small and if you can’t find a spot there, you’ll need to street park.“
“You need to come here! I have now been here 3 times and every time the experience is better than the last. The lasagna could be my last meal and I would die a happy man. I have never tasted a bread like their homemade focaccia, and if you do not add the imported fresh burrata cheese then you should slap yourself. And do not let the description deceive you, the savory pecorino doughnuts are the lightest, fluffiest, little taste of heaven that I almost asked for a few orders to go, but I held back as to know I would always return for more. Do yourself a favor and make sure to plan a dinner or lunch to come and do not plan on leaving quickly as you will keep ordering more.“
“Best kept secret! I went to Ciao to catch up with an old friend. We shared a pizza and were able to order half buffalo chicken amd half Tuscan. Such a great idea when you're unable to choose just one option! The pizza was fantastic, but the real winner here are the wings. I absolutely love wings and get them everywhere I can. Ciao's wings are incredibly plump, juicy and flavorful. I can't stop thinking about them. We had the lemon pepper and garlic parmesan. Not only was the food delicious, the manager, Andres was so friendly and helpful. I will be back often.“
“Been coming to Mama D's for years. Both this and in Newport - both have the absolute BEST service. Voted most friendly staff for a reason. It really makes the experience. The food is unbelievably good. Fresh, comfort food. If you have not been, put this at the top of your list “
“If you have not made your way to this local Italian Bistro, put it on your bucket list. I had the Turkey Panini. Easily the best Panini in Mission Viejo. As far as I've had, it's the best Panini in Orange County. There were thin slices of pear that were delicious. I came at lunch and had to take a salad to go for dinner.“
“its been a year and a half since I have been here yet their food still tastes excellent! The calamari is the best appetizer you can get in my opinion. I loved the marinara sauce that came with it. I ordered some type of truffle pasta and they did not skip out on the truffle!! Biggest amount of truffle I have seen a restaurant give. My dad ordered a shrimp type of pasta and that was also delectable. For a dessert, we ordered the chocolate tart and it was so good!! This restaurant is on the pricer side yet still amazing!!“
“Take out or delivery...same great taste for past 30yrsVegetarian options: Can't do it for you...customize it yourself...easy to do !!Parking: Small strip mall, next door to 7 eleven...corner of 17th and Irvine...tight parking...bit wild fork doesn't mind using theirs...“
“Enjoyed Foretti's... solid Italian with nightly specials. Consistent and very good. Have been there many times and will continue to go back. Pasta's are good and homemade... full bar which is nice. Picture is of the Braised Short Rib Pappardelle... which was delicious! The pizza's are from a real wood burning pizza oven. The service is good... very attentive! The one lacking thing for 4 stars is the wine list... we brought our own... but ordered a second bottle and they had a limited selection.“
“The Pizza here is Crazy good, but honestly when have you been sat down by a Calzone?? REALLY!!Quite simply the biggest and best Calzones to share, or hourd, I personally cherish the idea of my lunch the following day!! And the sauce, don't get me started, so good!!This is a solid 2 meal purchase for big eaters, 3 ppl if heading out for fun!If you know, you know! So good, I'm going to have to order another one this week. You guys are ???“
“Yummy! I ordered their Margarita pizza, light on the cheese, extra basil. I phoned ahead, and it was just out of the oven when I arrived. The pizza was just as I ordered it, and it was delicious. My hairdresser is just across the street, so I will make this my monthly pizza fix.“
“The food here is always amazing! Best Napolitano style pizza we've found outside of Napoli! The pastas and the gnocchi are amazing too. Wow! We crave it once a month minimum. The staff are so sweet and welcoming and always make us feel so welcome too!“
“Homeslice is perfect! Great variety on the menu however not overwhelming or all over- just delightfully dialed in. Pizza is super flavorful but not heavy. Atmosphere is energizing and “homey” at the same time. Staff is super attentive, warm and patient.“
“The atmosphere is very nice and comfortable, the service was excellent, and the food was superb. We started out with a buffalo mozzarella and tomato in an age, balsamic vinegar, and then shared an Osso Buco entrée between my wife and I. One of the best Osso Buco we have ever had. And my wife and I are foodies.“
“Where do I begin?? I have never experienced such authenticity, when it comes to Italian food. My server Valentina is always so efficient with her service and her smile and beauty??? Wow!!! Molto Bene!! Ciao for now Trenta. Will be back very “
“I don't know why there isn't a long line out in front of this restaurant every night. It is a small restaurant in a location that is slightly off the restaurant beaten path. But it is Onotria, the same owner and chef as the previous iteration of Onotria that has been one of the most highly regarded restaurants in Orange County - and definitely on of the best Italian restaurants in the county for many years. The original Onotria took a hiatus for a few years but is back now in its new location with excellent food - perhaps now a little more innovative and modern. The service also excellent with a little more warmth and attentiveness thrown in, perhaps a consequence of the small venue. There were four of us, we all sampled each other's food and all agreed that it was outstanding as was the service. It's great to have Onotria back. It's definitely one of the "must try " Italian restaurants in The OC.“
“Got my food to go during lunch. The pics don’t do justice as it’s in to go containers, but the taste…. Oh my, the flavor! They treated me real nice and albeit small the restaurant was very nice. If I was a local, this would be a date night special for certain.“
“It's crazy how you can go to a "fine dining" restaurant like Mastros or SET for the white table linen and white glove service but the food could be mediocre at best! This restaurant has the best of both worlds; although we sacrificed white linens and big fancy wine glasses, you get in return some of the best flavored and textured food on the market. The pasta that I serve at the fine dining steakhouse I work at is soooooooooo gross compared to what you can get here for literally half the cost. I think a Mac n cheese or Rigatoni pasta at SET can run you $35, but here you can get an appetizer and entree for that price. Wow the flavors and quality do not disappoint! It was my second sip of wine where the ambiance finally got me; gives me Godfather vibes. There's low ceiling lights that are broken up by the arms of a the rotating fans. It gives such a mysterious and old school vibe. Id rather eat here, get great service and pay half the cost and go home with a fully belly and a huge smile on my face. I literally cannot wait to go back next Sunday for dinner!“
“Met a friend for happy hour at the bar. The female bartender was very friendly and acknowledged my presence immediately. Since the restaurant wasn't busy, my drink was made quickly. The happy hour menu has a nice selection of food choices to choose from and I ordered the cheese pizza which was excellent. Just the right amount of sauce and cheese on top of a delicious thin crust. As for the ambiance, it's a fairly typical bar with at least 8 seats at the bar and enough tables to seat multiple parties. If you're looking for good food, a cold drink and a local place to meet a friend, give Antonucci's a try.“
“Good selection of sandwich choices but the highlight of this deli is definitely their bread. The only small complaint I have is they pre slice their meat (which is not a problem) but this means they will put the sauce and veggies on the sandwich first and as a result, the meat has a tendency to slide out as you can see from my picture.“
“Gorgeous cafe located on a beautifully renovated little corner of Dana Point. So many varieties of avocado toasts and mix of European and American style menu for all tastes. We had Avocado toast with arugula and Dutch Boy, they were both fabulous. All the staff that were serving us were super friendly and they looked genuinely happy to be there. One of my new favorite for weekend brunch.“
“We ordered deep dish pizza which would take longer to make so we planned on waiting 45-60 min. Had a delicious dinner salad while waiting. It got to be an hour and pizza yet. They had made it incorrectly, and we had to be somewhere. So the nice waitress (Natalie) offered us free appetizers and a large pizza on the house instead of a medium size tjat we had ordered. What good public relations and treatment of their customers. I appreciate their wanting to make customer happy and satisfied. Ended up taking pizza toGo and made it to our event 5 minutes early“
“Small coffee shop within high rise business building. Lots of sitting outside and parking is 2 hour complimentary with validation. Tried instant tiramisu and ice americano. Liked both and instant tiramisu is more lukewarm desert than coffee. Like this “
“Wow, we're so glad there's an Oliver's location in Irvine now! The food was incredibly delicious and flavorful, and the service was fantastic. You know how sometimes you get the feeling that the staff don't really want to be there? Everyone we interacted with seemed like they were happy to be there. Makes such a huge difference in someone's dining experience! Ambiance was upscale but not stuffy or stiff. Very fun and delicious place to enjoy a meal with friends or family, or even a business lunch. The complimentary house bread was so yummy, especially when paired with their savory olive tapenade. It's hard to resist filling up on bread. We started with a beet salad which was an amazing blend of flavors and textures, thanks to the thinly sliced beets, creamy cheese, and slightly candied walnuts. Fantastic salad that I would order again and again. For mains, we shared: Hokkaido Scallops from Oliver's Trattoria's Truffle Menu: shockingly delicious! The sweetness of the Hokkaido Scallops played perfectly with the truffle (not overpowered at all) and creamy sauce. The sauce was soooo tasty, we dipped pizza crust into it to make sure we didn't waste any of it, lol. A pricey dish but so well-executed and worth every penny. Tagliatelle Alla Bolognese: delicious savory meat sauce that covers nice al dente pasta. Sooo good and a must for Bolognese lovers. Chitarra Pomodoro: a signature for a reason and you can really taste the difference with fresh pasta. Margherita Pizza: sometimes the simple classics are the best, and this Margherita is no exception. Perfect pillowy crust texture on the edges, and a nice thin crust throughout most of the pizza. So delicious and we'll be ordering this whenever we crave pizza! For desserts, we shared 3, and each of us had a different favorite even though we agreed all of them were delicious, so you know they were all good in their own ways! Tiramisu: so creamy and decadent without being too sweet! Probably the best version of a classic Tiramisu I've had. Cheesecake: also not too sweet! Lovely flavors and crust. Tortino di Cioccolato: a chocolate lover's dream! And the gelato is a delicious complement as well. We can't wait to come back!“
“Off the charts amazing. This food was worth the wait. You know when you order and in this day and age you expect everything immediately. If it takes more than 10 mins, you throw a little fit. This is worth the wait. I would wait forever. This pasta is like ambrosia from the heavens. The bread and pesto precursor is perfect and addictive. However, there has never been such incredible pasta. I cherish my burps today because they remind me of the dinner last night. Chicken was hands down most flavorful and juicy we’ve ever had. We had to circle around the block because we missed the entrance which is easily overlooked by the dozens of little entrances adjacent. You can tell it’s a family atmosphere. You get old world vibes. We’re just sad they only do gnocchi once a month! We’ll be back 5/29!“
“Angelina's is absolutely delightful and delicious! There's a lot of good food in Irvine, but this is a spot I definitely want to go back to. My chicken entree was some of the best cooked chicken I've ever had; it was a huge cut that was succulent and juicy. I was a bit worried about it being flavorless since I got the Calabrese sauce on the side, but even without it the taste was decadent. The salumi board and cheeses were also a hit, as was the burrata. I definitely stuffed myself with cheese and do not regret it in the slightest. I will say my drink wasn't the most exciting, but for one drink I definitely felt like there was a good amount of alcohol in it. Service, especially with drunks was also a little bit slow and they were bringing out drinks 1-2 at a time, but we had a large party on a week night and it looked like the bar only had one worker so it wasn't a big deal, I am understanding of that! All in all I really liked this spot and want to try more of their menu.“
“Love this place. Very cozy and comfortable. They have the best Martini selection. Thursday night martini night is the best deal. Very popular. Come early at 5 when they open cause they are always busy. Food is delicious. Their seafood pasta selection is awesome. The staff are attentive and courteous. Great place for a good meal and drink.“
“We had no plans for an Italian lunch. Our mid-morning walk turned into delicious smells coming from Ciao Balboa. The food was sooooooo good. Right down to the buttery, garlic brine the shrimp were in. Our salads were beautiful. The bread was so good we paid extra to take a bunch home. The atmosphere was open and airy. Comfortable and cozy. Our server was super sweet. According at every turn.“
“OC Pizza was always a place I saw near by when I would do my laundry at the laundry mat next over. Let me just say I hate doing laundry, but the best part is coming to get good pizza and amazing secret sauce. I may not be a sports fan but I am a fan of this establishment. I saw they sell fried zucchini and that's on my next try for the following visit. The young lady that works there is really polite!!! Thank you!!!“
“We decided to have empanadas to take home and have dinner onsite. For our takeout order we have 2 regular beef, 2 sweet beef and 2 Arab. And for dine in we order pizza and chicken Milanese with fries. Since everything is made to order we waited for our food to be made. When we finally got our order, both orders tasted freshI particularly liked the pizza, we had one which has some onions and cheese topping, this was really surprisingly good. The crust was tasty. Funny thing, side comment, I started tearing up, not sure why, the lovely owner said they were cutting a big amount of onions, which surprised me as I had the reaction as if I'm the one slicing onions. Well she was right, once I stepped out, everything cleared up for me. The owner was a lovely woman originally from Buenos Aires, she made me feel as if I'm visiting her home and she's welcoming and warm. For the empanadas, they were delicious and if you're reading this review, I recommend you go and visit La Farola and the delicious empanada awaits.“
“Ambience was wonderful, our waiter suburb, my lamb rack , above and beyond. My husband ordered ravioli with lobster scallops, shrimp. Really. 5 star meal and service, feel fortunate that they are here in Mission Viejo!! Love this restaurant ❤️“
“I popped in here with my family one night and absolutely loved the pizza here. If i remember correctly, We got the pepperoni pizza with jalapenos on it. The pizza was so cheesy and delish!!! service was ok and the food took quite a bit to get to our table, but it was worth the wait. I would definitely come here again.“
“Amazing service, fabulous food!! Enjoy our meal! Love the asparagus fries...one of the best linguini and clam sauce I ever had!! Best tiramisu too! Only concern is that the bathroom needs to be checked in on more frequently...a bit dirty. The restaurant could use a little bit of an update...but will certainly return soon!!~“
“The family at AtlasAdventured highly recommends dining here! If you are looking for great pizza in OC, your search is officially over. We have been coming here for years and have never once had a bad experience. The staff is always super friendly and give great recommendations. The pizzas are all unique. Our favorite is the Hawaii 5-0. A combination I never thought I’d like and it’s honestly out of this world. The jalapeños are always spicy and perfect amount of cheese. I can’t say enough good things about this place. You can order by the slice or whole pizzas. Salads are delicious. Fresh and crisp ingredients. The wings look and smell amazing. Great selection of soft drinks and really good beers on tap. Indoor and outdoor seating is available and there is a small game room for kids!“
“I almost don’t want to leave a review because it will inevitably mean more people come to the restaurant, but there simply is no better New York style pizza in Southern California that I’ve been able to find. The owner is great, the value is good, the pizza is amazing. Be sure and come for the lunch special, and make sure one of your slices is the house pizza. You won’t regret it. Just please don’t come too often, I don’t want a long line when I come here twice a week.“
“I never leave reviews ….From out of town & not only is this the best pizza I’ve had but the fact that we got gluten free crust and I didn’t believe them that it was Gf.Seriously blew my mind! Got sausage & margarita with pepperoni. House salad was AMAZING!!“
