“I have been ordering at Umami Express for a while now and it is such a life saver for busy weekdays. I am trying to lose weight and their food is so filling but guilt free - saved me from ordering unhealthy fast food. My fave so far is the chicken bowl, I add chestnuts and cucumbers. The texture is so good and the lemon garlic sauce is good as well. I did try the spicy sauce on time and it is not for me. One improvement I guess I would ask is if there is a way that the calories are stated in the website when I do my online order? I have never been in the restaurant, so I cannot tell for sure if they have it there. With my need to be more calorie conscious that will be a fantastic help. :-)“

“Wanted a really good Italian sandwich and found this little place that I passed on Lincoln 10thousand times before. It's adorable inside and has a small cute patio too. Employees were very friendly. Seems like a real local spot. Food was homemade right in front of me and delicious. Pastries and all sorts of yummy drinks too.“

“My personal favorite Thai restaurant to support ! They are so genuine and always so kind to their customers. They prepare their food with fresh ingredient's and every meal has been delicious! The food is consistently good here. We really love everything here from wonton soup, pad se ew, pumpkin curry, pineapple fried rice and the papaya salad to name a few of the faves! Excellent combos for lunch too! Dine in, take out and delivery available during lunch & dinner.“

Every time I come here, I meet a local who’s been coming here since the 80s or 90s and it is so comforting to know that a place like this exists. “Sakura is just one of those authentic, under the radar, all around great Japanese restaurants that are all to rare to find these days. This place is a local staple and provides the highest quality fish at great price. Not sure where else in LA that you can still get a phenomenal Chirashi bowl for $26! Why would I go anywhere else?“

“Flavor is good, they use a lot of garlic. Amount was enough but not for big appetites. Price is in average of Panda Express.Food was barely warm , and when is raining you just want your food hot. Service was good, they do not ask for tip, that is voluntary. Dining room is ok, chairs are for fast people, do not try to stay more than 15 min or pay your rent. I’ll be back but I’ll ask the waitress to please tell people staff be sure my delicious food is hot and healthy. “I had the Red Ramen & Washington Roll. The sushi was fresh and a good size. The ramen broth was creamy and a good spice level. My fav part was the charred, tender pork belly in the ramen- it’s unique from other ramen I’ve had in LA. The chalkboard decor gives the place character“

“Feeling under the weather, so I came here for some pho. This is my second time coming here, unfortunately, no pictures were taken as I demolished the chicken pho I ordered. This place closes early and is only open during the week, but it is totally worth it if you can swing by. The chicken broth is so flavorful and you can request it spicy, which gives it an amazing kick. The service was good, and a few families were inside eating. It's a hole in the wall, but those are the best authentic places to eat.“

“Like what everyone said, i tried this place due to a friend's recommendation. The food is great, too bad you can't add additional proteins in your value meal. Their drinks are delicious and refreshing. It is reasonably priced, for a meal comes with a bowl + sauce + cookie. Would come back and try their other sauces - their sesame sauce is delicious so its their spicy sauce! If you like bibimbap, you would like this! its the same thing but healthier as instead of rice its more veggies like salad! love the American korean fusion!“

“Food was decent here. I got the Dumpling combo which let me have 4 of each of their Dumpling flavors. I was hoping for more flavor. Nothing spectacular here, but still an okay meal if you like light flavor. They had multiple sauces that were also light on the flavor. I may need to try their Potstickers to see if having it fried makes a flavor difference. The Hot and Sour Soup had lots of ingredients and they didn't skimp on them. Like the dumplings, there wasn't as much flavor here as I'd expect. Both items had a good amount of food for the serving. Parking is easy as it is located on the non-busy side of a shopping complex. Service was mediocre. When I was asking about their options, the servers weren't really making it seem like they believed in their own product. There was a subtle indifference in my interaction. The restaurant was clean with lots of seating. Not sure if I would go back for what I ordered, but I may still give those Potstickers a try.“

“The green salad and fried shrimps lacked the taste, which sounded mediocre. However, the macaroni one and dumplings (I forgot the name) were okay, while the yakisoba was tenderly good. However I will say the people working Saturday afternoon shifts made the soup this time around way too oily, couldn’t even enjoy the soup. I think the staff should know the standard in quality and have a consistency throughout -otherwise it’ll be hit or miss just with the consistency of the soup. “Honda is a very solid Japanese dining experience. Nothing I've had there is particularly exceptional, but the food is always reliably tasty and fresh. My wife and I usually order the dinner combinations which include miso soup and salad. The portions are good and I especially recommend the beef teriyaki and sashimi combo.“
