“I was going out of town and purchased this lumpia for them and they loved it. It was homemade and wonderful. There was one left when I got home the next day out of the 50 I bought. We will definitely use them again.Thank you for feeding my family so well.“

“A new Pinoy food place in Chula Vista area. The location is a bit more isolated from commercial areas. The dining area is a lil bit smaller but it feels good and comfortable to eat those meals freshly prepared when they served up to you. I ordered TAPSILOG, which is a combination plate of beef tapa, sunny side up egg and garlic rice. The beef tapa is very tender and very garlicky. AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS! For dessert, I have buko Pandan. Creamy and sweetly flavored. Super like it! Both food were served about 15 minutes and the staff has offered more choices on their menu. Staff is very friendly and helpful to recommend their best seller amongst the food choices on their menu. I am happy that there are more Filipino restaurants popping out in Chula Vista. Another place for Filipinos to pig out and enjoy! Highly recommended to everyone. Will come back to this place soon to try more of their food in the menu.“

“Great atmosphere, very close to balboa park! This place offers free cold brew if you purchase some of their bags of coffee beans or grounds which is very nice! They also have cold brew growlers to go. The main downside is sometimes parking can be hard to find nearby but definitely available within a block or two and then the noise from the planes going overhead. There’s also a quaint courtyard to enjoy your coffee outside that I don’t have photos of, we’ll definitely be stopping here more frequently in the future on our way home from the park!“

“Amazing food, service is so quick, and they really fill up the food boxes. The adobo, beefsteak, lumping, and chicken skewers are what I usually get, always, and I do mean always, the food is hot delicious. It's worth the hour drive everything I go to Titas.“

“Alrighty soooooo after a few visits but they were not open. And after a a tiny hiccup about getting the hours of operation clear. The owner let me know they have been short handed lately. They are a large size, a crispy golden brown, with a moist flavorful meat filling. SUPER TASTYCHICKEN ADOBO LUMPIA… Chucks of chicken adobo with rice. It’s wrapped in a crunch lumpia wrapper. Fried to golden brown perfection. You get a large order enough for two. Having had chicken adobo numerous times in my family. I guess did expect a little bit more of a garlicky tangy flavor explosion. But it is still very delish to say the least.Do yourself and your tastebuds a favor and go check out Lia’s Lumpia. You will NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.Parking: It’s a small yellow house on Logan ave. right under the Coronado Bridge. They have street parking ?️. But you gotta be lucky ? on the weekend. “I like this place the portions are hugh, i wished they used better meat for there carne asada. The last burrito i got was a California burrito the meat was like chewing on leather for 17 dollars yes 17 dollars for one burrito you should be able to chew it. Hopefully they step up they're quality of beef and then they will be the best place in town“

However ... their building on 38th is being sold and I stopped there on 4/12 and no one was there :( On my previous visit on 3/30 I was told they would be finding a new spot and would update their Facebook !! “First time at this cafeteria style restaurant. First time to eat Filipino food. Had different dishes including fried fish, roasted lechon, lechon in a sauce, noodles, rolls, rice, others. A great experience. Inside a Filipino / Asian Supermarket, so parking is available.“

“I'm so happy I was able to try this place out. I ordered before sitting at the bar, and I was so excited to finally try someone else's sinigang wings. (I've tried to make it three times now.) The wings definitely didn't disappoint. I ordered garlic rice with it and pandesal, and it was a beautiful combination. I also loved that I was able to get calamansi juice. So delicious.“

“Very good Asian inspired bowls. The pork belly bowl with rice was good and the umami gravy on top was delicious. I got delivery and the bowl was still fresh and hot. I'll definitely be ordering from here again.Update: the chicken karaage bowl wasn't that good after sitting for a while but I bet it's good when it's fresh and crisp at the restaurant“

Parking can be hectic at times as there are many eateries in the same strip mall. Prices are very reasonable (especially for freshly baked breads) and customer service is good. Either walk-in or order in advance for pick up. We ordered: Cheese rolls - delish soft bread with cream cheese inside and butter with dusting of fine sugar on top. Cinnamon Ensaymada - I would compare to a miniature cinnamon roll. Not too intense with cinnamon flavor with a light airy slightly sweetened cream cheese frosting with a dust of cinnamon. DELISH! If in the area and you want a bakery that has amazing soft bread, sweet or savory...give this spot a try. Your welcome in advance!“

“For my third times ordering a lechon here in USA this is my first time that I can say “the best lechon” taste like Cebu lechon very juicy too . Affordable price . I ordered last week and all the visitors asking where I got the lechon. Next time again !“

“Went to the Market on 8th for a late lunch, The place was not busy, but I had to park a block away, parking is better at night.I had the brisket plate from Butcher Shop, very good, tender and the potatoes were very good. My wife had the Chicken Karage Rice Bowl, very good flavors.“

“Cute little coffee shop with a solid outdoor vibe. We typically stop here at the end of the farmer's market. Folks are friendly but a little standoff-ish at first. Probably due to the wandering crazy folks that wander around the 'hood. But it's a cute little joint on the corner of the building.“

“I was craving filipino food. I wanted to try a new place. I usually don't eat sisig. I trying my hubby's sisig fries. It was ?! I got the Güd burger. I didn't want to share it with my hubby. ? My kiddos shared corn beef hash with egg. They loved it. The portion is a good size.I told my kids once they are done with eating. I'll buy ube churros. The cook must of read my mind and came out with churros.10 out of 10 highly recommend!I ordered extra churros for my sister in-law and Lola to try.“

“Great food- good people! HONEST PINOYS! We came to buy sisig. We ordered 2 large cups. The server said "we don't have enough for 2 large, just one large and one small". My husband and I looked at each other - the situation is so familiar @Porky's Lechon! We waited in suspense... To our amazement- it was one large and small! No overcharging! We went to Porky's Lechon 1 1/2 years ago and bought sisig. The owner charged for a large cup when the content is just enough for a medium! Way to go KABABAYAN! Great food good people!“

“Best Filipino food! I was in Los Angeles and I came across with their restaurant Kusina San Diego I was really happy because I saw the Kare-kare which is my ultimate favorite and I've been craving with the dish. Yes!! it was really delicious. Highly recommended!“

“This place seems popular for parties that like karaoke. I tried calling to order my food togo, but i could not get an answer. I wanted to hate the place, but the food was really good. I got the sisig, garlic fried rice, and pancit. I will be back for the sisig and garlic rice for sure.“

“My dad and I tried this place. Great customer service! We told them that it was our first time as they have a lot of choices on their menu. My dad and I shared the dinuguan and fried crispy salmon. The taste of the food was great. We bought other items too like kutsinta, polvoron, chicharon, turons, and taho. All of them were good as well. Will have to come back and taste their other food! FYI...the place is small so they might run out of tables and chairs if you were planning to eat there during their busy times.“

This eatery spot only opens 2 days a week and the rest of the days you can catch them at a Farmers' market! so catch them whenever you can! Don't miss out on what they have to offer! The 2 entrees my husband and I ordered were flavorful and well seasoned. We both finished and left our boxes emptied and cleaned . The owner did an exceptional job by making sure if we had any food allergies when taking our orders.
