“It is an inviting place, as soon as you walk in the flower hanging over the ceiling. It looks like you are inside of a garden. Waitress was very friendly and she was often checking on us to see if we needed anything. The food was excellent and the portion was good to share with 2 if you want to try different things on the menu. Crab fried rice was a very big portion. Enough for more than 2 people to share.“
“This is probably my favorite restaurant in San Diego. I love Thai food and have never had any this good! Definitely worth the price. My favorites are the Hat Yai Fried Chicken and the Grilled Angus New York Steak (over beef tallow fried rice). The ambiance is great, though it gets busy on weekends (so you probably want a reservation).“
“Great service, not the best looking location, but some pretty darn good food! I’m petty picky about my pad Thai and they made it just right. Location isn’t the best looking but that’s not what we fatties are here for right!!!? Highly recommend :)“
“Went here for Galentines, and the food was amazing. There was no wait, and our server was super nice. A bit short staffed, but he made sure everyone was talen care of! The place is super cute and small! The food was delicious. Loved the Tom Yum wings and Basil Beef.“
“Absolutely tasty food! This just went to my topmost Thai restaurant. Had a try of the Mango, Red and Green curries and loved them all but my best was the green curry. It was delightfully flavorsome and delicious. Generous portions and guilt-free!Great for our kids too so a big plus!“
“Me and two friends came here a few weeks ago for dinner around 6:30 on a Saturday. There was a little line so we ended up having to wait about 20 minutes to get seated. The restaurant isn't too big but they have plenty of seats. Once seated we were immediately greeted by our friendly server who quickly took our order. I got the basil chicken and Tom yum soup. The soup was honestly lacking in flavor (I think some of the key elements must be non-vegan) but it was still good. I really liked the basil chicken it was so delicious and bursting with flavor. I would definitely come back here again - esp if I have a vegetarian/vegan friend with me!“
“What a charming spot! Visited on a leisurely Saturday afternoon and were seated right away. Ordering at the counter was a breeze, and then we chose our own cozy spot. The selection of kombucha on tap caught my eye, though they also offer beer and wine.We indulged in the Tokyo fries, bahn mi, and tom kah soup. Each dish arrived at the perfect temperature and bursting with flavor. The friendly service added to the delightful experience. I'd definitely come back for more!“
“One of the better Thai places in this area of Chula Vista. They used to have a really good papaya salad, that I would recommend coming here on its own, but the version I had recently seems less cohesive and a little less freshly cut. The fried chicken dishes here are pretty good. Indoor seating is a little “

“Their BBQ chicken and rice bowl is delicious! Bee is amazing and keeps everything moving smoothly. Actually, the entire crew is great. The decor is stylish and welcoming. The prices are good and the service is also! Thai Joint gets 11 out of 10 stars from me.“
“Tried this location for the first time. Enjoyed the food and the prices were more than reasonable for the portions. We did a combination of lunches and dinner plates as a to go order and everything was fresh and tasty. Our lunches with chicken was approx 12 each and included rice and a small soup. Soup was delicious!I also ordered their Beef Salad which thankfully they put the dressing on the side so the greens stayed crisp. (I’ve been to many Thai restaurants and they often put it on which makes the greens soggy by the time you get home and no good for leftovers). The flavors were right on.Will definitely return!“
“I was there for take-out twice, so I have more experience w the service and food. About the food, it's fantastic. I felt like Laoatian has a ton of similarities with Thai. But even the, this was some of the best I've had, even in Thailand. I'm sure I picked the wrong places.“
“What. A. Burger! A Spicy Pad Kaprao Pork Burger with a very flavorful spice that was out of this world. Sticky rice for the bun took it over the top in a way that I've never thought to try. The fried egg was the finishing touch that will get me back in the ship.“
“This place has the best Pad Thai I’ve ever had. It was so good that the first time we had it we went back the next day. Their service is amazing too. We chatted with who we assume is the owner a bit and he was super cool and friendly. Highly recommend.“
“Here we are again having another fabulous meal prepared for us. But's this time There was a party of maybe 6 women and they prefer to have the other entrance open so my wife froze her butt off for the whole meal it seems like it was below 0 degrees but all in all we still had a great meal. Maybe I should have said something to our waitress but I didn't want to upset the girls.“
“Walked in on a Saturday day and got the last available table right away. Our server was excellent! Served us right away and the food came out SO QUICKLY.No exaggeration, this was the best Thai food we’ve ever had (and my wife and I spent months in Thailand last year). It tastes fresh and the flavours are amazing. I strongly recommend! We split this amount between 4 of us, but I suggest more food and variety. We saved our appetite for desert elsewhere after dinner, but sort of regret not trying more things.“
“The pad Thai was amazing and very flavorful. We also had pad se ew and that was also good. My husband's biggest complaint was we got an order of sticky rice and it was not sticky rice- it was steamed rice and a big let down when we got home. I'm not saying it broke his heart... but he was pretty upset. But pad Thai and pad se ew was yummy“
“This is my new favorite Thai restaurant in the USA. The photos is what was left of my pad see ew after eating my fill. Portions are enormous for very reasonable prices. Friendly small intimate with incredible food. I got Pad Thia to go a different night and I swear the portion was even bigger. I eat for 3 meals.Wheelchair accessibility: 1st floor roll in and out off the sidewalk.“
“Cute little place with tasty dishes. Ordered the Pad Ped with chicken that came with white rice. This is the first time trying it and it was GOOD! Also ordered the Kao Soi tofu and veggie. Delicious yellow curry sauce and the noodle were perfectly cooked. We will be returning to try more things on the menu“
“Best vegan Thai food in El Cajon! I definitely recommend coming to dine in I love the decor and felt a light energy. Service was prompt and courteous and the option of the all vegan menu and delicious Thai tea has now ensured I will keep coming back. Thank you thank you thank you ??Vegetarian options: New optional all vegan options !Dietary restrictions: Vegan availableParking: Parking is in the back and there are plenty of spaces.“
“I came here for lunch. I had the drunken noodle with chicken and fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce. The drunken noodle was really flavorful and fresh. The fresh spring rolls with the peanut sauce was a really nice touch. The peanut sauce is one of the best I've ever had. The waiter was really nice and on top of what we needed. The inside is really clean and the seating is just right. I would highly recommend you come check this place out. I will be back again thank you for taking care of me“
“Love this little spot for Thai. They are very friendly and they have great dishes. I always see the place packed. Be careful or patient when coming at busy times because they do have limited seating but it is worth it.Parking: Plenty of lot parkingKid-friendliness: Yes“
“I've been looking for a Thai place that has a good panong salmon. This is the place. Even though it was take-out, it was beautifully presented. The salmon was cooked to perfection. The panong was lovely, and lots of broccoli and carrots. Friendly service during pickup. I'd definitely do eat-in here.“
“Delicious food made with love and care! I love this family owned Thai place. The restaurant is a little cozy so it may be better for take out. The portions were good and the taste was phenomenal! I'll definitely be back. Thank you for your service!“
“I ordered the red curry and Tom kha soup because it's my favorite when I'm not feeling well. The dishes did not disappoint! They arrived fast and the price was tasty, too. Spicy level 1 is all you need, unless you are part dragon.“
“I met up with friends on a Thursday night. It's quite busy but we got a table right away. We ordered some appetizers (pork belly, ahi poki, crab wonton) during happy hour. We also got lamb chop, pineapple fried rice, Penang curry with chicken and they were all delicious. The presentation was pretty as well. I heard that they have an all day happy hour on Sunday. I can't wait to go back for more. Follow me @bonn_voyager for more.“
“Cute Thai place off of El Cajon. It's nestled in the same plaza as Rise, Cheba Hut, and some fitness centers, so parking can be tough, but it's open after 8pm and worth checking out for a nice dinner. Service was only one person on a Friday night, but they were attentive and our food arrived quickly. Food- Favorites are the tamarind wings, tom yum with shrimp, and pad thai. The spice level is from 1-10 so we chose 5, but as someone who doesn't really do well with thai spices, could have gotten a 7-8. We also got the house special Ka Pao that tasted even better the next day. The soup was refreshing and a good as well - two of us finished the large as a starter.“
“out of the dozens and dozens of thai restaurants i’ve tried, no doubt that this one is the best ever…the interior is chic, and the service is welcoming and sweet. the food, tbh i was blown away with the first bite. every bite was bursting with flavor and spice. a refreshing side of sweet thai tea was just so amazing? i got drunken noodles, with spice level 6 (which is pretty hot). i cannot emphasize enough how much you shud give this place a try ‼️‼️‼️‼️“
“Although I'm not a huge fan of Thai food, I must admit that this place is really good. I haven't been to Thailand, so I can't vouch for its authenticity, but the curries are a fantastic choice. Their Tom Kha soup stands out with a unique taste not found in other versions from different restaurants. It's definitely a great spot for takeout, considering the relatively small dining room.“
“Loved Soi's! Came here for a later lighter lunch and shared the crab fried rice. It was delicious! They have a good assortment of chilis that you can add and it rounded out the dish perfectly. I'm excited to come back and try out their other menu items for a bigger meal. Located in North Park so there isn't a dedicated parking lot - it is all street parking.“
“We visited Bamboo Fresh Thai Cuisine, and this place fulfilled our craving for Thai food! The ladies were super kind, welcoming, and engaging. We learned about the history of some of their specialty dishes and how the Thai people also eat them. It was hot and sunny, so we had a rich and refreshing Thai Iced Tea to cool us down. We started with the Curry Puffs, which were so pillowy and heavenly. These were definitely made with love! Next, we enjoyed the Som Tum Salad and Pad Thai with Tofu which were flavorful and complemented one another so well. The dishes were all beautifully presented and perfectly balanced between salty, sweet, spicy, and sour. Make sure you try a sweet treat in the end. We had the creamy Tapioca Coconut Milk and it did not disappoint. There were so many dishes on the menu, and we can’t wait to visit again to try them all. The food was delicious, and the staff was simply amazing! If you absolutely love Thai food, this is the place!“
“This place is amazing!! Ordered chicken for the green curry and basil eggplant and it was so good. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for Thai food. The host was super nice to us as well and we got a nice sago desert for free at the end!“
“During my first visit, I was thoroughly impressed and know that it won't be my last. Every dish we ordered was not only delicious, but the service was exceptionally friendly. Despite asking numerous questions, the staff member was incredibly kind and provided us with all the information we needed. We savored the panang curry, mango curry, Tom Yum soup, and pork belly fried rice. Let me tell you, the pork belly was cooked to perfection—not too crispy, yet delightfully tender. The curries were absolutely divine, and the sweet tangy taste of the mango was a delightful addition. The soup was incredibly flavorful, and even the white rice was cooked with a delightful texture. I'm already craving to return and sample more items from the menu. I wholeheartedly recommend visiting as you certainly won't be disappointed.“
“We LOVE Pad Thai Stand!! Ever since I moved to San Diego I have been getting Pad Thai Stand when I need comfort food, want take out or just feel like great Pad Thai. This is the best Pad Thai in San Diego. We get northern and southern and then have half of each for different flavors. Love the creativity in the different flavors of each item. People and staff and always so friendly and it is appreciated. Casual and minimal seating so better for a quick bite or take out.“
“So far everything I've tried has been delicious!! My favorites are the Drunken noodles and the cream cheese wonton. The flavors are perfect. And the wontons are so good Especially the way she rolls them you get the perfect bite of crispy wonton and cream cheese mix inside with every bite *Chefs kiss* wishing them the best of luck!!“
“The menu is varied, descriptive and contains photos of the entrees listed. I was very happy with the basil chicken. We also had spicy Thai noodles and another item; all delicious. The service is outstanding.Parking: Parking is located directly behind the restaurant, off a narrow side street. It is easy to miss if you are not looking for it.Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible from the parking lot and into the restaurant using the rear entrance.“
“I went in yesterday, never been before. The ladies who helped me order were amazing, specially one. Thank you! I wish I would have asked your name. The food she suggested I order was amazing and just the right flavor. My family really enjoyed it. I will be back.“
“Our go to Thai Place since last year :") This is the most reasonably priced Thai place that I found that has a great ambiance/atmosphere, customer service, and delicious food! I've never had bad service here before. The staff are always so nice and the food comes out so quickly. Will be back soon! ((:“
“My husband and I ordered the sampler and drunken noodles to share. The food surpassed my expectations. Most surprisingly was the Tempura shrimp, I'm typically not a fan of seafood. However their shrimp was cooked to melt in your mouth perfection. We picked up in Santee and drove 15 minutes home, everything was still piping hot. Perhaps best of all, the servings were big enough for lunch tomorrow ?“
“Came here for dinner while in town for business. The restaurant is in a great location. The outside looks unassuming, but it's quite big once you walk inside. I tried their Thai fried rice and Thai iced tea. Both tasted pretty good. I wouldn't say it's the best fried rice I've ever had, but it's good enough that I wasn't feeling bad eating that much carbs for my meal lol Service was good if you can get their attention. There were only 2 severs working that night and the restaurant for pretty full later. So I'm not gonna blame them for lack of attention since they're stretched thin. Overall a pretty solid Thai place, and I'd be back if I crave Thai food and I happen to be in the area.“
“Try outside of your comfort zone and you’ll realize all the food in this place is bomb. The owners are so nice and polite, if you have questions about the menu, they provide honest feedback/suggestions. Small space, but perfect for take out so you can enjoy back at home! Serving sizes is perfect in their containers and for the price in my honest opinion.“
“You better have some good teeth because the meat is very very chewy. I wish the meat was more tender. The sauce is gross. The customer service is not so friendly and welcoming. The guy that works at the front counter was not friendly and he was very rude. Parking is not really convenient.“
“So delicious! The soup that comes with the lunch special knocked my socks off. The prices are great. Outstanding noodles. Friendly, efficient service. Feels like eating at a little hole in the wall on a Thai island, except with real chairs (iykyk). I'll be back.“
“I tried this place for the first time today with coworkers and I'm really happy I was invited along. We ordered egg rolls, cream cheese wontons and the Tom Kha for appetizers. Their spice level is 1-10 and the soup was a 3, not very spicy. I wanted to start lower than increase the spice level on my next visit. 3 has some kick and best suited for those who aren't crazy about heat. All three items were great, soup was one of the best ones I've had here in SD. My main dish was the Thai beef salad. Lemon grass marinaded beef over lettuce and mixed with cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions, and green onions. It was tossed is a fish sauce based dressing with chili flakes and I got this a 3 spice level. Again, could have done a higher level. Delicious and refreshing! I would ordered this again. I wanted to keep it light on a work day. Next time I dine here I will order a noodle and rice dish. They have reasonable lunch specials from 11-3pm. Must try!“
“So good we had to go two Saturdays in a row! Ordered pad Thai, pad see ew, Thai Basil, Panang Curry, & all of it phenomenal. Best Thai flavors we have had I think. We got it to-go and the gentleman kindly brought it over before I was fully out of the car. Everything hot and fresh. Spice level is high so maybe go down a number or two from your usual spice level ?“
“First off, I just want to say that the staff was very nice and that alone made me more hopeful for the food. I ordered the chow mein, orange chicken, and the drunken noodles, and wow all of them were delicious. The chow mein was absolutely packed with flavor and if it's too much for you, you can mix it with rice and the flavors will spread all throughout the rice. The drunken noodles were perfectly cooked and once again the flavors were on point making you want more. Finally, the orange chicken was my favorite. The sauce was perfect and the vegetables were coated in the orange sauce making me finish my vegetables (crazy for me). Overall, I definitely need to come back to try the other dishes on the menu and it seems to be sooner than later. If you're looking for some good reasonably priced thai food this will become your go to spot in lemon grove.Parking: Lots of parking nearby so nothing to worry about.Wheelchair accessibility: There is wheelchair accessibility throughout that mini plaza.“
