“LOVE the poke bowl options including the gluten free/lo carb noodles!”

“Loved the food here! We ordered the beef ribs, grilled salmon, and a couple of poke dishes. The ribs were fall off the bone tender and SO flavorful; even our young kid liked them instantly. Maybe they smoke the ribs a little too. Whatever this shop does it's "broke da mouth" good. The salmon was delicious. The poke flavors were amazing. We even liked the mac salad and I normally don't enjoy that. Even details down to dressing the rice with dried seaweed was appreciated by us all.

My wife was super happy to be able to sample so many poke flavors as she was ordering. This is our new "go to" Hawaiian place because it's some of the best; even compared to on the islands. Also, the prices are quite reasonable. We can't wait to go back.”

“This is really a very small restaurant that specializes in Thai food. There were not many customers when we visited that night, so the environment was quite quiet. Since I was very hungry after work, I ordered more dishes. I personally liked their crab fried rice. It was not too salty or inexplicably sweet, but the Tom Yum Goong noodle soup was of a lower standard and didn't taste like Tom Yum soup at all. What’s a little surprising is that the quality of the desserts they serve is actually very good. Sticky Rice Mango is my favorite dessert. Although the mango is not sweet enough, I am still willing to give it high marks. The fried banana with coconut ice cream just won my wife's appreciation.”

“The chicken is always BOMB-TASTIC from this place, & they are speedy quick, too! I placed a pretty good sized order, less than an hour before their pick up "window" closed, & they still had it ready to go in plenty of time! They are always so sweet when I go to pick up, too, & will always give me extra pickled radishes! YUMMM! The savory aroma of their amazing chicken filled my car on my short drive home, & I couldn't wait to dive in like a,SAVAGE! :-P Thank you, b.b.q. chicken, for satisfying this cavegirl's craving tonight!

Parking: It's in a strip mall with other restaurants, on a busy corner, & I have seen the lot packed during the day. Parking is tight there during the day, & due to the busy corner, it's tough to get in & out of. However, I normally do my b.b.q. chicken runs in the evenings after half of the businesses in that strip mall have closed, so parking isn't an issue!”

“A small hidden gem!!! We were there just last Friday. The service (as always) was wonderful, the food scrumptious and though last Friday we were sat immediately (we just happened to beat the crowd). We have had to wait a few times; and I assure everyone it is worth the wait!”

“I saw it when passing by and tried it. The restaurant is clean and bright, and the service is very friendly. The lunch set is a great value. The Mongolian beef is tender and not salty, and the Kung Pao three delicacies are also slightly spicy. They are all worth a try.”

“Best Brunch spot that I came across! Most restaurants like this (breakfast joints) tend to order from premade (from food service like Sysco or shamrock, you see their trucks everywhere) distribution. Hot and Tot makes everything in-house. From their daily soups to their house salsa, it’s all done in-house with love and passion. It’s an institution that’s been around since early 60’s. It’s got nostalgia of past (with decor and comfort food) but they keep it clean and tidy. If you are lucky enough to come few times, u realize it’s really a “regular’s” place. Most customers are true regulars and it’s easy to see why. They are super busy on weekends, but kitchen works surprisingly fast. Spinach omelette is delicious as do pancakes and waffles. And it’s easy to see why some people make point of coming on Fridays for clam chowder 😋

Parking: Do not miss the parking entrance on PCH. If u miss the entrance, it’s a big loop to come back.”

“I have been enjoying meals at Okane Umi since 2016. They have always been excellent in every category of service. The restaurant has had its share of ups and downs but I am happy with how strongly Okane Umi has powered up its menu and added some wonderfully flavorful genuine Japanese dishes. Im pleased they have reinforced their sushi, sashimi, chirashi offerings - I love this restaurant.”

“Some of the best blueberry lemon scones ever. I’ve tried the cranberry and apricot which were okay. I love their breve coffee. I order from here quite often from doordash, just these two items and I would recommend. If they are out of something they usually call you for a substitute which is great.”

“As a KC native, I am picky about barbecue and this is one of the only places down in LA that lives up to expectations. Solid food (we tried ribs, burnt ends, the tri-tip sandwich, onion rings, and the loaded mac and cheese with brisket), large portions, and reasonable prices for the amount of food you get. They also gave us a discount for eating in for next time. Will definitely be back.”

“My wife and I are retired and we both love going out for breakfast. We have been looking for a special breakfast location in the south bay for some time and tried Mr. G's . It is BY FAR our favorite location - it is a fun, family owned cafe with an extensive menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We often share one of the weekday breakfast specials of 2 eggs, 2 sausage links, and 2 french toasts for $8.99. You can't beat the food, the price and the friendly staff. We are now Mr. G's regulars .”

“4-star review only because I believe there’s always room for improvement. I couldn’t be happier with this fantastic little gem right on PCH. I heard a lot of great things about this place and it didn’t disappoint. I got the Pad Thai (amazing) with shrimp, Pad See Ew ? with Chicken and a Thai Iced Tea. ?very happy, next time you’re passing down PCH stop on in, they won’t disappoint :)

“Dive bar. I like that. 2 pool tables. Both are pretty damn good. Locals are a bit on the “I’m so tough” side. But not so bad to keep you away. Occasionally there are good shooters there. Good bartenders… and again, 2 good pool tables. I’m in!

“INSANELY AMAZING PIZZA.Ordered easily online before we got there; grabbed beers at Project Barley and waited just a few minutes for pizza paradise.My friend and I consider ourselves pizza snobs and we were absolutely blown away by how good this was and why it took us four years to find the best pizza right under our noses.We shared a large 86th Street between the 3 of us and finished it off happily and easily. The cheesey, tomato saucey, basily ratio was perfect. The melted cheese pull was a thing of beauty at the first grabbed slice. The bright, super flavorful tomato sauce was ample (so many places skimp on sauce) and delicious and the crust had the perfect flavor and chew for which we snobs search the planet.Service was friendly and prompt; they brought our piping hot pizza to us in the brewery along with plates, utensils and napkins and even gave our furry friend treats.Around these parts, we typically get pizza at the following places:Costco (fairly decent and cheap, great for parties)Lamppost in Torrance (tasty American pizza)Raffaellos in Palos Verdes (tasty American pizza...awesome Torpedo deluxe sandwiches)Bonellos on Narbonne (tasty)Sorrentos in Pedro (Very good, expensive)Fat Tomato in Rolling Hills (decent)Eatalian in Gardena (authentic Naples style pizza)Masa in Echo Park (Amazing Chicago style pizza)Rance's in Long Beach (delicious Chicago style pizza)L'Antica Pizzareia da Michele in Hollywood (crazy good Italian style pizza)And we'll trek all the way to San Clemente and beyond for my favorite, Pizza Port, but seriously, Pizza Kraft will now be my go-to.It's just a day later and I am craving PIZZA KRAFT again. “I absolutely love this place; I have been going here for years. My favorite item is the chunky beef super deluxe burrito! Get this with a side of pico de gallo and you are good to go! This burrito is so large, it will last you a couple of days. And the prices are so reasonable. I truly love El Burrito Jr.!
