“Their pizza is delicious!!!Their GF options are fantastic! They use separate utensils so no cross contamination. They even had GF brownie that was the best! Only one of the three pizzas we ordered was GF. All eight of us loved the pizza!*side not: a non-GF family member tried a slice of GF pizza and couldn’t tell the difference. They loved it! Win-win“
“10/10Visiting from Vancouver and OH MY GOODNESSThe best food I’ve had in A WHILE!!!My recommendation:- gem salad Is so fresh, perfectly seasoned, amazing texture and so delicious it was the perfect appetizer!!!- tar tar was AMAZING. I recommend mixing it in the sauce before putting it onto the bread that is still warm when they bring it out to you, which is so good. The sauce is a little bit tangy and has a bit of spice, which is perfect and really brings out the taste of the tartar.- spicy Pomodoro pasta was so delicious. The sauce, pasta, and ricotta ratio was perfect.- sweetcorn agnolotti was also so delicious, it was sweet but not too sweet and it kind of pops in your mouth when you eat it and it was very tasty.- banana pudding tiramisu IS SOOOO DELICIOUSThe perfect texture, temperature and consistencyAnd it looks amazing as well. I wanted to get another one but honestly I had to refrain myself from getting two of everything.Highly recommend the food and dessert.Got the drinks too and it was good but didn’t stand out as much as everything else.“
“Located just a 15-minute walk from the Ahmanson Theatre, Maccheroni Republic is a wonderful find. The outdoor seating area is inviting, and the service is top-notch. We enjoyed the Burrata appetizer and indulged in two pasta dishes: Bianchi Neri and Pom'Amore, both of which were absolutely delicious. A perfect pre-show dining spot with great ambiance and even better food.“
“We always love visiting Propaganda and this time was no different. The 4 Formaggi & Funghi is my new favorite pizza. This time we tried the boozy pandoro dessert and even 5 days later I'm still thinking of it. Can't wait to go back!“
“There is a separate dining area and a separate area for dessert. It is best to make a reservation for meals, but walk-ins are also available. It's large, spacious, and has a high ceiling, creating a very hectic and noisy atmosphere. All the food was delicious. If you just want to eat dessert, you can buy it like in the food court system and then sit down and eat it if you find a table.“
“My daughter recommended this place so we gave it a try. There was only a handful of people there… it was a Tuesday. We sat in the outdoor area. We ordered two different veggie pizzas and bread sticks (kinda pricey). There wasn’t much to choose from on the menu. The food was more like an appetizer size serving but It was delicious. I have nothing negative to say about the taste of the food or the atmosphere. However, the parking was insane. We parked directly at the curb next to the entrance of the outdoor eating area. It’s metered parking. We had to add coins every 15 minutes… it only allowed 15 minutes before it capped out ?. I’ve read others say it was an hour meter, well it wasn’t the day we visited. I set a timer on my phone (a ticket would have ruined my day).It was a nice restaurant. I experienced it once but I’m sure I won’t come again.“
“Such a cute little wine bar in the heart of DTLA! My friend and I decided to catch up over early dinner here. We ordered the coldbrew martini and the non-alcoholic prosecco. We also shared the caesar salad, meatballs, piquillo peppers, and the margherita flatbread. Everything was delicious and tasty. We were pleased with everything we ordered. There's indoor and outdoor seating available. Our service was efficient. There is no free parking available, but we paid to park in a lot nearby.“
“An outstanding evening - great food, excellent, informative & fun Server (Thanks, Maria!). Nice vibe. Cozy space. Counter is fun. AND - who would have ever imagined we'd try “Orange Wine” (don't be a chicken like me - it's actually a whole new experience) ?. Really nice.“
“Delicious evening. Many extra courses in the tasting menu, lots of extra black truffles on many dishes. Both of the servers were super knowledgeable and friendly. The table next to us was a loud couple with a dude on his phone a lot and that was the single negative part of our evening. An amazing birthday experience. Thanks, guys!“
“Finally tried this place but street parking is tough on a Saturday due to the flea market across the street so got dropped off and unfortunately ordered take out?Wasnt dissapointed with the sandwiches, ordered the #7 Pastrami and roast beef sandwich and ended up going to Grand Central Market to eat there. Unfortunately i shpuld have asked for napkins or grabbed some since opening the sandwich up it was a bit messy.... None was provided... Live and learn. Would go again to dine in if in the area.Parking: Thrres a flea market across from the restaurant so finding parking is a bit tough...“
“I ordered via DoorDash and this order was ready and delivered so fast. It came hot and delicious. Highly recommend. Lots of flavor in the lasagna and the salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette was really good. Cheese bread was about what you’d expect. I’ll order this again.“
“A very pretty friend and I decided to try Bestia on a Thursday at 5pm. After arriving and entering an outdoor patio that leads into the indoor seating, we couldn't help notice the bright blue wall, nicely trimmed tree, outdoor string lights all coming together to make a quiet eating experience but my pretty woman friend wanted us to experience the inside. Inside was livelier, more people, closely positioned tables, and an open kitchen facing the eating area. Cool modern music that's not too loud. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. We ordered the coconut red chili oil scallops garnished with herbs and a slice of strawberry. I was pleased with the combination of flavors. Then we shared the bone marrow pasta, which was packed with savory flavors and interesting soft textures. It was delicious. Of course, we had to try the herb ceasar salad everyone raves about when talking about Bestia, and the hype is all true. We then shared a marguarita pizza and let me say this, despite the overly salted tomato sauce, the napolitano style crust elevated the rest of the pizza ingredients. I had old sunglasses: a tequila blanco cocktail with sweet citrus flavors all well balanced, I couldn't just have 1. My pretty friend had unsweetened ice tea, which was refreshing with a subtle fruit flavor. For dessert, we shared the chocolate dessert with a crispy sweet and salty crust that complimented the rich thick chocolate mouse that was just the right amount of sweet. It's the kind of place you take an attractive friend you really, really like. Recommend you plan at least a couple of weeks ahead to get a table because this place has a big following.“
“Are you willing to work for your food? Are you willing to wait in a long line? If the answer is yes then please take the time to try Apollonia's. Their hours are strange and they are cash only in the restaurant but it's worth it.This is best thin slice pizza I have had in California. They also have incredible Detroit style slices. The pepperoni vodka slice is a must try.Very little parking.Parking: Very little parking. Small lot that is always full.“
“An authentic Italian pasta place which lives up to the hype. We came after hearing about it from the Worth it series, and was excited to try some of their featured dishes. They broke down their menu and explained how they prepared their pastas. The prices have definitely gone to the pricier side, but I would say it’s worth the quality and portion size. I would definitely recommend trying the salmon and cream dish. Very limited seating, but if you’re lucky enough to get a seat they’ll give you some great bread as well. We loved it, and it’s definitely worth a try.“
“The welcoming was excellent by the manager and the flexibility to change from outdoor to indoor seating. The food was great. The steak was perfectly cooked and the octopus was tender and savory. The green beans were the exception to the excellence. They were too spicy and it tasted oddly. Manager made it right for us. Thank you!“
“We were warmly greeted upon arrival. They serve delicious authentic Mexican cuisine. You must give it a try. The restaurant is clean and has a great atmosphere. They play light music in the background. The dishes are flavorful. The waiter was attentive. The owner checked in with us and thanked us for eating at his restaurant. I will definitely be back to try other dishes.Parking: The restaurant has parking in the back and there's also free street parking.“
“Our experience at The Factory Kitchen was amazing from start to finish. We were seated immediately, and servers were very attentive, quickly refilling drinks, clearing plates, and bringing new silverware for each course. Menus are printed daily, which we thought was a nice touch to make the experience even more special. The kitchen is open, so we were able to see fresh pasta being made, prosciutto being sliced, and food being cooked. The highlights of our meal were the Prosciutto, the Gnocchi Malfatti, and the Canoli.I will be sure to come back any time I find myself in the Los Angeles area, and will advise anyone I know traveling here to visit as well.Parking: There is valet parking right beside the restaurant. It runs $12 for dinner service, and $7 for lunch. There are a limited number of spots available for valet parking.“
“In the summer of 1975, I was only 14, and already a "Busboy extraordinaire"! My family had just moved from East Los Angeles to Monterey Park, and I started working at the best Italian restaurant on the planet, 'Agostino's'. At first, I thought all the beautiful girls were coming in to see me clear dirty dishes off of dirty tables. I later learned it had something to do with the food. And something to do with the restaurants' proximity to Mark Keppel High School. On top of all that. it was Great pizza at an affordable price. I stayed there charming the clientele for about three years. I met members of the M.P. Police, council members, Mayors, and others. I saw my classmates come in with their families, on dates, and in the banquet room after every major school dance. It was a place where you could go have pizza with friends, and not be embarrassed to run into your parents having a nice dinner. It was the hub of all social life in the San Gabriel Valley. I left the restaurant for college in 1978. In 1980, Agostino ("Gus") and Alicia sold the restaurant and went back to Sicily. I hadn't seen them in almost 50 years. A half century! Well, my fellow Monterey Parklandians (is that even a word?), this past weekend my wife says to me: "Remember your wish to step into 1975 and smell the food at Agostino's again"? She then drove me to this small Italian restaurant in the community of Paramount. Inside ..... were Gus & Alicia. The original owners who gave me my first real job so many years ago. The food was as good OR better than I remembered. Just as fresh too. My wife and I split an antipasto salad, a lasagna, and a pizza. Alicia came over to sit with us, we traded hugs & stories. Alicia is as warm and delightful as I remembered her. We didn't spend too much time with Gus, he was busy. Although I believe Gus is still jealous, because Alicia thinks I'm too handsome. It's a mystery. If you lived in the MP/Alhambra area for any amount of time, you surely enjoyed the authentic Sicilian food from Agostino's. And you'll truly enjoy Gus & Alicia's "Cafe Corleone". I know we'll be going back. CAFE CORLEONE 15337 Paramount Blvd, Paramount, CA (562) 408-6100. Dine-in/Takeout / Delivery“

“Was craving for a good italian sub and found this hidden gem near my work! Located across from the hospital. Parking was easy; street and parking lot behind the restaurant. Inside was filled with Italian goodies. They sold alcohol, cookies, bread, pasta, cheese, etc. Towards the back of the restaurant was tables to sit down and enjoy your sandwich. Came here for the 1st time with my coworker and we tried the Classic 6' sub with 2 sides. I got the macaroni salad and broccoli salad. The sides tasted ok to me but could be better. However, the sandwich was very tasty. I love how much meat and filling it was. I ate it all! We got a piece of tiramisu and that was very very good! The prices are affordable and the portions are huge. Definitely a place to go for lunch or anytime you are carving for a good Italian sandwich! *TIP: call to place your order if you are in a time crunch. We waited for 30 minutes for our food.“
“Beautiful restaurant, elegant and upscale.... A wonderful evening of big band music! Definitely a classy night out and flashback to the 1930's. Food was excellent as well as the service. A bottle of wine for the table although my cousin had a martini that was incredible! Looking forward to experiencing another show....“
“Came here with my nephews and the host was blatantly rude towards us (we're Black, not sure what the host is). Thankfully, our waitress was very friendly and nice so that cancelled out the rude male host. The food and drinks were amazing. 4 stars for “
“This restaurant is tucked away from the busy part of Little Tokyo. We walked in at 6:30pm on a Thursday and were seated immediately. We came here for the famous uni pasta and mentai japanese cream pasta. Both were creamy, rich, and filled with umami. The mentai japanese cream one was slightly more fishy than the uni one. Can we talk about the portion sizes? Each plate of pasta was huge! Great value for the price. All pastas come with complementary sad and bread. Save some of the bread to soak up all the pasta sauce!“
“A cozy, romantic atmosphere, my family and I had a full table to seat us all.Learning about the menu from our server, we all found exactly what we were craving. Even learned the ingredients used to make our dish. Which was amazing, top-notch services. With our order, we all got some soup or salad. The lasagna I ordered was um um umm. My family all were happy with we order and full ready to enjoy our night.Taking home a large pizza for home.“
“Incredible food and atmosphere. Service felt a little slow. Maybe they were understaffed. Not a huge issue. Everyone had a great time and the food was fantastic. I had the pork belly dish which was delicious, as well as a feta cheese tart (?) with honey drizzled. All very delicious. The bread pudding was also a great way to end the night. I do recommend very much so.“
“On Friday 08 Mar, Bryan greeted me and my family with open arms and with a big Kool-Aid smile. ?Bryan was very informative of all the wines (Sweet n Dry), he pointed out a sweet wine from Portugal, of which they were promoting at the front entrance. My family and I were pleased with his recommendation because the following day at our baby shower everyone loved it.Bryan congratulated me and my family of our beautiful blessing, because my pregnant fiancé was with me that day. That morning we picked up my fiancé sister from LAX and we decided to stop by for breakfast. And it was a pleasant experience because the breakfast staff greeted us with a smile… a special shout out to Martín! Because he made sure we had everything at our table in a timely manner, and most importantly checked up on us throughout our meal.Funny thing is, when we arrived I really didn’t pay attention to his name tag until after we ate, and we started gathering bottles for the baby shower. It was then I realize… That’s the name my fiancé and I agreed to name our son… Bryan.Once I told Bryan he was very happy for us and bagged our bottles to go.Oh by the way, the breakfast was delicious, we order steak and eggs, French, toast, and eggs, and chicken strips and fries for the kids.“
“This place is a South Bay gem! The coffee is the best I have found in our area, the owner/staff are super friendly, and the food is fresh & delicious. In the morning, it's packed but service is still efficient. Highly recommend stopping by and grabbing a latte and a crostini!“
“The food at Brera makes your taste buds sing! I know it's corny, but it's true. Their green salad has this light dressing that is so refreshing. The prosciutto pizza was to die for. My boyfriend had the Papatelle and I had the Nettle Pasta with walnut. We walked out full with smiles in our face. To say the food was amazing is an understatement. It was outstanding!! Oh, and the drinks are strong and good!“
“Squid and wasabi spaghetti has been my favorite for over a decade. However, it was fresh wasabi root with very pleasant aroma. Now it's a pickled wasabi and something g has been missing for me. Maybe I am just picky. But the 1 dollar salad and the refillable sweet tea is always must-have! Bread is always fresh and soft inside. I will still go back every time I am nearby...“
“SOLID pasta. Had the parpadelle vodka on my most recent visit but had others in the past and they were all great. I wouldn't mind if the prosciutto with the parpadelle wasnt crispy. The tables are quite small and you have to be ok with dining close quarters. Service was adequate and friendly. Wish they had a couple beers on tap but didnt take away much from the dining experience“
“When you go on a date with your special person, I think what we all want deep down is just a peaceful, quiet, meaningful night together with a bottle of wine or two. Colori Kitchen had unbelievable food that was simple yet still like nothing I’ve had in a long time. The price doesn’t break the bank and they have a 0$ corkage fee. All you can ask for and more: we’ll be coming back again.“
“So so glad I got around to trying this place out, the pastas are SO GOOD!! We tried the mentaiko and the squid ink pasta - the flavor profile for both was perfect and the noodles were cooked al dente! The portion size was just right too. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu“
“I host a dinner for 17 And was extremely happy with the food and how well we were taking care of. Leonard and his team did an outstanding job. Even though we ordered off the menu all at the same time our food arrived promptly. The last person was served only a few minutes after the first person. Ricci's has been of one of her favourite Italian restaurants for many years. Their prices saw both food and wine are very reasonable. There's plenty of free parking in the back.“
“One thing about Uber Eats is you get to discover great places to eat. This restaurant was local and had very good food. I love Calamari and there are a lot of ways to prepare it. Fried is my favorite and this spot didn't disappoint ? here the calamari is mixed with big pieces of shrimp and tomato pasta sauce. I will return to try more on the menu, the smell when you walk in boi!!“
“Upon seeing the monstrous wood fired oven, you know you are in for a serious pizza. We had proscuito and calebrese on one pizza we ordered. Tremendous. Beautiful color, chew and char on a crust that proofs for 36 hours. Thin enough to fold, but sturdy enough to hold up the toppings. So much flavor comes through from the fire and smoke of the oven. You can tell the dude man who was running the front of the house has serious love for the place. Very sincere, very authentic. This is not a whatever pizza joint. Its one of those restaraunts that is more than the sum of its parts. This place has vision and heart and you see it, feel it and taste it.“
“I got a slice of pepperoni pizza for $3, which is a little on the pricier side for the size. The pizza was solid though. It was freshly heated, not too greasy, and had a nice crisp dough. There's parking in the back of the restaurant and a few tables inside to eat. They do have a minimum of $4 for credit and debit card use, so bring cash if you're not planning to spend more than that.“
“I showed up with high expectations, and they were exceeded. Our server guided us through the menu and gave perfect suggestions. The somm was excellent in pairing the meals appropriately, and thus enhancing the experience. I cannot wait to come back to try other menu options.“
“Came here for the mini market but would come back over and over again for the food. The truffle salt has become a fan favorite in my household so I had to restock before we ran out. I ordered two panini sandwiches for takeout, the Speck and the Classico. No disappointment there. Would love to be back here soon to try their pastas and other dishes. If I lived closer to this place I would be a regular.“
“Mama Says Italian restaurant, conveniently located in the Rolling Hills plaza next to Whole Foods, proved to be a delightful discovery. The review praises the excellent food made to order at a reasonable price. The mixed seafood pasta ordered to-go was perfectly seasoned, with noodles cooked to the ideal texture, not overdone. The addition of the carrot soup, with its enjoyable blend of seasoning and just the right amount of cream, complemented the meal nicely. Definitely, be back to try other pasta dishes.“
“Taste 10/10Value 10/10Service 10/10Highlights:- Hawaiian pizza was very good and I’m sure their other pizzas would be equally good too because their pizza crust taste perfect & the amount of cheese & sauce used are the right amounts.- Chicken black sauce pasta is the bomb. 1 of the tastiest pastas I’ve had and the you’d want more the more you eat it. Highly recommended ?“
“AWESOME PIZZA!!!I'm blown away by the quality of your pizza. I ordered the Medium Veggie and boy was I blown away by the quality of the pizza. To start with the dough is hand spun, making it nice and fluffy but not doughy like many others. Crust and undercarriage was crispy not greasy and cooked perfectly. The sauce was perfect balance of tangy and sweet. Plenty of vegetables and perfectly balanced cheese. If you are looking for a great pizza this is definitely the place. I am a tough person to satisfy when it comes to pizza but this place gets two thumbs up! I'll definitely be back. Also the service is friendly. This place is a hidden gem, so many small pizza places are dissappearing because people settle for cheap, disgusting pizza. I am happy to discover this place! Keep up the great job! Good luck!“
“I recently dined at Il Bambino, and it was an absolute delight! The cozy ambiance and charming decor made for a welcoming atmosphere. I tried their famous paninis, and they were exquisite - perfectly toasted bread filled with flavorful meats, cheeses, and spreads. The combinations were creative and delicious, with each bite bursting with flavor.“
“Marri's has been an institution in Long Beach for as long as I can remember. The "graffiti wall" is legendary, and I have memories of eating there a few times as a child. I was "reintroduced" to Marri's when a good friend reminded me of them nearly 30 years ago and my wife and I have been regulars ever since. The staff is always friendly, the portions are generous, and the price is more than reasonable. My wife, and several of our friends have sampled various pasta dishes, and we don't know if they're "authentic", but they're definitely amazong. As a lifelong TMMT fan, I've always been into pizza, and while I'll eat most any pizza -except those Mama Celeste ones made of paper plates and garbage - there are definitely tiers. If Pizza Hut is the equivalent of McDonalds, then Marri's is the pizza equivalent of Ruth's Chris without the price tag, or pretension. The dough isn't a cracker, or Brooklyn thin, but neither is it deep dish thick. A solid "hand-tossed" base that's just flavorful enough without being too much. Where a lotpizza is better the next day because the sauce has had time to age - Marri's sauce is perfect right out of the oven. They're toppings are fresh, flavorful, and plentiful. And, finally, they're marinara is thick, gooey, and generously heaped on top - if you're not an I like some pizza with my cheese person, like me, you won't need to worry about adding extra like you do in most places just to get adequate coverage. If you live in Long Beach, or are just visiting, and you've never been, do yourself a favor - Go see Shelly and Julio for a slice, or 12. And, if you have been there - IKYK ?“
“This place is close to my heart and stomach! Our family has been enjoying Appetizer turkey sandwiches for many, many years. It was a tradition for my Mom and Dad to order them for USC football games. We are continuing the tradition to this day and have also discovered their amazing pizza! So dang good. It’s always a pleasure to see them and pick up our order. They’re always smiling and happy. Love this place! Highly recommended.“
“RCP FTW! Brian is the most down to earth pizza shop owner you will meet. His crew's creation for different pizzas are limitless. Stay for the pie while you browse around at their artwork on the walls from local artists.Parking: Lots of parking“
“I ordered a pizza to be delivered and it arrived quickly. The pizza was very good. I especially liked the thin crust. It had the perfect amount of toppings, everything was evenly distributed. It was delicious. One of the best pizzas I've had. Will definitely be ordering from ASAP again.“
“This place is amazing the sandwiches are delicious. “I love the chicken Parmesan sandwich personally “. The cannolis are great, Wine prices are reasonable and really good selection,. The customer service is outstanding, all the individuals are very sweet and kind. I Highly recommend this hidden gem, The food is a true Italian experience.“
“I was there right when it opened and had the best experience, everything was perfect and definitely will be going again. For the first time everything about a place complimented everything the staff were super helpful, the food was amazing, the drinks were nice and cheap, and the atmosphere was phenomenal.“
“I've dined at this place for 10 years since it was across the street from The Grove. Even with the change of venue the food here hasn't lost its touch.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy accessibility with entrances, and spaces secure enough to fit mobile or manual chairs, as well as maneuverability.“
