It's more like a 3 out of 10 for me.All good. Just ask for chili sauce!My partner and I had the mango sticky rice as well.Portion is small but really good if you aren't trying to roll out of a restaurant!I loved that they fried and salted the mung beans on top of the sweet rice. “Upon entering, the setting was cozy, dimly lit, and there were modest decorations. The waiter bowed and greeted us with a friendly smile. Though they were the only one serving, so it was slightly slow; understandable though. They were still very polite and helpful. Food was light, healthy, and tasty. Samosas were probably the healthiest samosas I've ever had. We also ordered the Pad See Ew (vegetable) as well as brown rice with sweet and sour veggie chicken, which were both sooo delicious. It was fairly busy on a Saturday at 7pm...almost a full house. Overall, great experience. The food tasted and felt like exactly what a body needs! So tasty and healthy. Prices were also fair. I would definitely recommend this place.“

“This has been my favorite over the last couple of months. A no frills restaurant with limited menu but the quality and portion size are amazing ! My to go are the woon sen noodles, green curry, pad thai and thai iced tea ! Probably one of the best thai places in the bay area“
“This was the best Thai food I ever had. It was sort of like Chinese style on the portion size of each dish it's sharing dish. Fried fish was my favorite it was very delicious, it's must have! It has sweetness to it, it balance out. The spicy fish soup was very spicy but it's spicily good! I asked medium spicy but it still pretty spicy so if you cannot handle the spiciness don't get medium level, get lower level for your comfort. The chicken was also pretty good, with their in house peanut dressing, paring very well together. I got the Chai Tea. Their food overall is great very delicious. The server is good, but little bit of English barrier but that's no issue at all that is also mean the food is good. And it was!“

So overall, while I appreciate this restaurant option in our neighborhood, the price will probably keep me from coming back again. We got the chicken wings (excellent flavor), pad Thai with shrimp (pretty fresh, though lacking excitement), Penang Curry (our least favorite dish because its consistency was more of a soup than a curry), and mango sticky rice (we liked it although it didn’t seem authentic as the mango was hard and tasted more like an apple than a Thai mango). “This place is amazing!! In from out of town so tried this place. The food is awesome!!! I don't like spicy and they made sure it wasn't. They even customized my thai tea with extra cream. The chicken satay was super tender. The peanut sauce is one of the best I've had. The fried shrimp rolls were Super Fresh. The garlic prawns were out of this world yummy. I wish they would take off the peelings but I'll definitely order it again. The pad see ew was so fresh and wonderful. I really can't wait to return to this place. I highly recommend it!!“
“In December we ordered from here for the birthday dinner of visiting family. 8 people altogether, some foodies with high standards, one toddler, some dietary restrictions... All the food was superb! Every dish we tried was a hit. The roti curry was a favourite (family are from the Carribbean, so they had high hopes for this and were not disappointed), green curry and spring rolls were also amazing. Salads and Siam rolls were very good. When we went to collect the stuff were incredibly helpful and carried all the food to our car even though we hadn't parked that close by, and they us all iced milk tea for the ride home. Probably the best takeout I've had in the bay area for a long time.“

“Came here yesterday for a work lunch. We were on a time crunch and we let them know. All our dishes came out quickly and were DELICIOUS! I got a seafood stir fry that was amazing, with fresh scallops, mussels, fish. My coworkers got fried fish which was perfectly cooked. Service was outstanding - very attentive. We are already talking about going back!“

This is currently our favorite thai restaurant.This place is simply amazing for its fried rice, they are the best fried rice we have ever had, and even when we order them gluten-free and vegan, they are miles better than any other place.Hands down our favorite thai place to eat. Downside is that their fried rice are so amazing, we have never had other dishes at this place.The only caveat is that this is small place with limited staff, so if it gets crowded especially with takeout orders, the wait can be pretty long. We had come here on mother's day and it took around 50 minutes for our food to arrive, so best to come here on off hours.Also, the portion is kind of small. Most other places we have leftovers, but the portion size here is about 30% less that the other thai places we have visited.“

“I’m not sure why some people have posted poor reviews, but this place is great. It’s a small seemingly family owned and operated restaurant. The woman taking orders is very busy but still kind and thoughtful. I have celiac disease and a severe fish allergy, so eating out is always a challenge. The food was so delicious, spicy and flavorful. I didn’t have any reaction and will be returning often.Dietary restrictions: Celiac, fish and seafood allergies.“

Ordering through their website was straightforward, and the dishes were ready exactly when I wanted them. “Been going to this place for a long time. It has gotten more expensive over time and the portions have gotten smaller (they use smaller take out boxes now), but so has everything else these days. The food has always been delicious and the service has always been great. Our favorites are the Pad See Ew and the Pineapple Fried Rice. We also like the Stir Fried Eggplant. Online ordering is easy and pickup is quick. They have lunch specials during the weekdays too. Definitely stop by if you are in the area.“

“I came here for a late lunch on a Monday afternoon. It worked out perfectly since we were able to avoid the lunch crowd. I ordered Thai Chow Mein with beef. It was really good, ingredients were so fresh and perfect seasoning. The service was prompt from seating us, taking our order, bringing our food and making sure that everything turned out well. Prices are reasonable especially considering that this location is on California Ave. No parking directly in front of the restaurant since the street is closed for traffic but there is a parking garage on the street behind. Depending on the time you come, you can also find street parking nearby. The place is pretty small, but they also have outdoor seating.“
“The food was actually really flavorful. This place only takes credit card and you have to use a kiosk to order, they do not take your order for you. You can tell most people order online in advance. It did take a little longer than I expected to get my food as there is no seating inside, only outside. So you have to just stand there until it's ready - it was about 10 minute wait and there were 3 people ahead of me. So it's not going to be a fast in and out like a Chipotle.Overall the food was really good with average/medium sized portions. I would recommend this to others if you are in the mood for some Thai!“
“Who isn't all about an aesthetically cute place serving great food? Getting together with my friend, we decided to meet at Farmhouse Kitchen, a place we both enjoy! This was my first time at their Menlo Park location and aside from the space everything else is similar--Instagram-worthy decor, elegantly styled dishes, and warm service. The interior is quite spacious with booths and tables for small and large parties. There's also an outside patio, though the CalTrain is right across and quite loud. We were taken care of throughout our meal by the hospital and friendly workers, without it being overbearing. The thing about Farmhouse Kitchen is that they know how to make their dishes appealing to both the eye and mouth. Dishes include traditional and non-traditional Thai foods. My friend and I both had the Yellow Curry with Tofu and a Side of Jasmine Rice. Though we weren't asked for the spice level, the curry was sweet and flavorful with a lingering spice. It was on the runnier side and I wish we did get more rice to enjoy it to the full extent. Portions were decent and we had leftovers--but note that dishes are on the pricier side. Farmhouse Thai Kitchen provides a cute and creative Thai cuisine dining experience. They have multiple locations around the Bay. Their Menlo Park location is off Merrill Street with limited street parking in the area. This is a place I enjoy going to occasionally but wouldn't seek out.“
