“We had Omakase with sake pairing. The dishes were great from the beginning to the end. For me, I enjoyed all of the dishes. Chef Scott was professional, attentive, and friendly. He explained dish in detail clearly. The service was impeccable. The ambiance was perfect! Great experience overall! I can't wait to come back next season to see what chef Scott come up with.“
“Come here for a nicely-furnished, attractively-lit and entirely typical Chinese restaurant experience. The staff are friendly and helpful, the ambiance is quiet and serene, the walls are red, the tablecloths are yellow, and the General Tso’s chicken is no better than the best you’ve had elsewhere and certainly no worse than any other plate you’ve eaten. It’s essentially a version of Panda Express which is upgraded in every area. You’ve got to respect the hustle. ??Probably a safe bet for business lunches, impressing your friends from the countryside, and meetings of the local Go league.“
“One of my favorite Spanish restaurants! Second visit, about 5 years apart. We sampled a wide range of items and nearly all were excellent. Tomato bread, patata bravas, grilled octopus, and so many other dishes were really outstanding. The one issue for me was mainly a personal preference. The Tortilla Espanol was made to order and a mini version that was served hot, with a bunch of stuff on top. It was too loose and wet for my taste. Service was great as were the drinks. Noise is a bit loud, but not unusually so. Parking is easiest if you use the Amtrak lot across the street. The small lot attached to the restaurant offers valet, but is very crampt and a little crazy on the weekends.“
“From the moment you enter the property you are treated with respect and receive white glove service. Definitely recommend celebrating birthdays & life events here. The speakeasy, although tiny, was a fun experience and great drinks. Dinner at the restaurant was incredible. You won't be disappointed no matter what you order. And definitely save room for the desserts. Highly recommend the banana fosters and the chocolate soufflé! Gorgeous property. Incredible ambiance. Wonderful service.“
“Dined there twice. Both times were excellent. The menu has a good variety of food choices and prices. The service is friendly and professional. The atmosphere is upscale and welcoming. Give yourself a treat for a special occasion or anytime dinner.“
“5 stars all the way. Place was packed on a Sat night. The ambiance and lighting was perfect. We each had two cocktails and got the rice balls, grilled artichoke, halibut piccata, brisket w/polenta, and the olive oil chocolate cake w/sweet cream gelato on the side for dessert. Spent 220 after tip. The olive branch and dos hombres cocktails were outstanding. And so was every dish. Finished every last bite. Can't wait to come back for happy hour.“
“Amy & Mitchell... "Thank You"! I recently celebrated my birthday at Bouchon and I cannot remember a more fabulous experience ever. The moment we arrived the greeting was warm and friendly. Nicholas, our server, was attentive and had fantastic suggestions for pairings and dinner selections. The music... ok let's just say the mix of Motown and 70's R&B classics made the evening even more enjoyable. I apologize for my singing! Our champagne, Lauren - Perrier, was the perfect starter and paired well with the Salade Lyonnaise. Please do not sleep on the Warm Pecan & Goat Cheese Tart. "It will change your life" is what the ladies who sat next to us said. They were not incorrect. It was a "pearl clutching experience". The venison & the steak were so well prepared a knife was just a prop. The seasoning on both were excellent. They both are a "must have"! The wine we enjoyed with dinner was absolutely amazing. Adaptation paired well with everything we enjoyed on the menu. Nicholas' suggested as we both enjoy our cabs. The blackberry upside-down cake was a great finish to the meal (it too went well with the wine). From the greet to the music to the food... this is an experience one should have. I plan to have it happen more often.“
“The atmosphere is really what makes this place special. Overlooking the pier, this place offers bustling and convivial space either inside or outside. The food is excellent, though not refined. It's busy, vibrant but not crowded, at all times of the day.“
“The boathouse is a place I come a few times a year and it's always delicious. My favorite is the eggs benedict and also I like their blood orange margarita.Dog gone and I can't find the photo of our eggs benedict but it had salmon on top that they cure in house and is mind-blowing“
“Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options. Don't get anything from the fryer though. The fish I had was locally sourced & delicious! The potato parmesion pancake thing was really tasty! The California cocktail was one of the tastiest drinks I've ever had.“
“The views from this restaurant are great. The place could use a few more staff, but the few that were there did a great job. The food was alright. I got shrimp tacos, and they weren't particularly inspiring, but they were alright. Others in my group thoroughly enjoyed their meals however. All in all a nice place to eat lunch.“
“Travelling with my mother, sister and wife up to Central Coast and we discovered this amazing pitstop. Really really great food; burgers are huge and delicious varieties, the chili cheese fries incredible, my favourite the fish tacos were the ideal lunch considering the location. The large and spacious outdoor seating area is right on the beach with spectacular views, especially on a clear sunny day as it was for us. Beware the trains though; the tracks are literally feet from the garden - hold on to your margarita!! Next time were travelling north, we will make a point of stopping here. It's on our list!“
“I loved it here!. The food and the service!. Our server was the sweetest, I wish I remembered her name. She made our whole experience the best! We sat in the left corner right by the jukebox and it was a vibe. Loved all the memorabilia on the walls too, makes it a fun lil place to come and eat.Parking: Right around back there's a lot for only $3 for city parking“
“This is such a lovely little spot to sit out on the patio and enjoy some good food and drink. I would say you'll need to go multiple times to try everything. We did have one issue with a cocktail we had ordered, but other than that, it was all great. Will be returning, for sure.“
“This was an unexpected place we stumbled upon. It is a New Orleans themed restaurant with lots of flavorful dishes and a friendly staff. They do a cool sing a long with all the patrons and the staff comes around to all the tables to share a toast with you.“
“Stopped in before 9am to try their small burrito special. From 6:30-9 there are an array of breakfast burritos for $5.95 plus tax. This is the perfect size burrito in my opinion. Opted for the egg, bacon and cheese version with hot salsa on the side. Delicious. Would come back to try the chorizo, egg and potato. The service was great, staff super friendly, clean, and cutely decorated. Also it smelled really good walking in. Enjoy!“
“I lived three years in Carp and for some reason I never thought about going to Zookers. I think the name threw me off even though people would tell me I should go there. Finally after driving through Carp on my daily commute, my son and I decided we should give it a try. He really wanted the fried chicken sandwich however that item was not available on the dinner menu so he went for the burger instead and I had a tofu dish. We got some bread too. Let me tell you we were shocked how good everything tasted! The food was incredible - every bite a delight. His pup style burger cooked and seasoned to perfection. ( mind you my son is a burger snob) - and the potatoes crispy and super tasty. My tofu waiter dish was also really good. Pretty much every bite including the bread basket was amazing. We really wanted to try the dessert and the staff was so nice to split it for us since we were too full for the whole portion alone. The presentation was spot on too. Even though it's in a mini mall once you enter this culinary oasis you immediately forget that the sketchy albertson parking lot. The next day we decided to order the fried chicken sandwiches to go. And let me tell you they did not disappoint either , probably the best fried chicken I had in a long time. We could not wait to eat them at home so we started to nibble on them outside Starbucks and had many people approach us where we got these incredible tasty looking sandwiches. I still can't believe we have not gone there sooner and most reviewers on here seem to agree with me that this is the best restaurant in carp if not Santa Barbara. It had a very inviting feeling to it, a place where many people seem to return for a meal and beautiful local artwork on the wall for sale. We will be coming back for sure!“
“One of my favorite places to eat in Santa Barbara. The food is always good. I have had salads, appetizers, and sandwiches and each have been wonderful. This time I had the blackened salmon sandwich with a side salad instead of fries. There was a nice, large, well seasoned piece of salmon in the sandwich. The sauce on the salmon was perfect, not overpowering. Delicious! We went on St. Patrick's Day weekend and were treated to an Irish dance group performance. Very fun!Kid-friendliness: They have a small kids' menu of penne and Parmesan, a burger, or a hot dog.“
“Food was excellent and service too! Only one complaint sign states no pets allowed yet a customer sitting next to us with a dog on his dog bed and she fed him from a plate from the restaurant. I probably will not be back. I won't know if I'm eating off a plate a dog ate off. Health department wouldn't be happy about this I'm sure.“
“What a great find during our recent trip to SB! This place is just of the beaten path of Lower State Street, but ABSOLUTELY worth the slight detour. The food is FRESH - probably the best Poke Bowl I've ever had, and their Fish Tacos live up to the hype and awards!Parking: Just like all of Lower State Street, parking isn't easy - but it's not super difficult either if you use a nearby city lot. Most are free for the first 75 minutes and just minutes away.“
“This is my favorite bar in Santa Barbara and I doubt that will ever change. Miss the chongo shot but the espresso shot and a Bay of Santiago will always and forever hit the spot. Every. Single. Time.Everyone who works here are professionals and friendly. Never ever had less then a stellar time.“
“Love it- easy low key and friendly service! I actually love that we got to order our food at the counter- so quick! The gal was really nice, handed us free chips and cups for the salsa bar which included habanero salsa, spicy avocado salsa, and green thick salsa plus limes and lemons, onions and cilantro. We got the huevos- so good, corn tortillas or flour tortillas on the side with one corn tortilla, eggs over easy, runny delicious refried beans and red rice- big portion - have enough for a second meal! The coffee was good too and the patio is dog friendly! They had a grill on the patio too, intriguing“
“Loved the uni shooter and the clam chowder. Would recommend these! Lobster bisque was great too. The pastas were good and the seafood was definitely fresh! The toast that it comes with was divine. The sauce was a little off. Casual spot with amazing waterfront to eat alongside!“
“Got seated outside during busy time. No music played outside and only one lamp for 4 parallel tables, so cold. They seemed busy and stressed when I arrived. Excellent food. Server was friendly but did not understand my questions when I asked about wine list, wine that did come out took quite some time and was wrong.I walked or else I probably would've gone to another less busy spot. Would be great experience during off peak hours and indoors.“
“Came here the other day. It was clean and well maintained. My burger was delicious but I asked for no tomato in mine and my niece wanted pickles in hers- not sure if it was charged. When the food arrived none of our request were even fulfilled. I pulled the tomato out and gave my niece some of my pickles. I don't get why we have to tip prior to getting our food when errors with your staff caused this. I saw on the register that our information was inputted but ignored in the kitchen? I even tipped when I ordered a beer. Should I have? This wasn't a huge deal. Just annoying. Please keep this in mind going forward. Thanks!“
“There are no photos of the food, because everything was so delicious everyone jumped right in. We started with the white asparagus, wrapped in pancetta-and it was so good we ordered another one! If you are getting one thing there GET THAT!!! We also had pasta, the sole, roasted chicken, and squash blossoms-which were all delicious. This place has a fun indoor outdoor feel and is super cozy, and transports you to an ambiance that feels like it could be in Italy. The staff worked above and beyond to make sure we were accommodated and had everything we needed. This is one of the staples of coast village road!“
