“Stopped by midweek and this place did not disappoint. Easy ordering via phone, prompt service, and delicious food. We got the Blue Heat 50/50 style and the Ramen 50/50 plus a strawberry boba. Both hot dogs were perfect with the right amount of cheese pull and loaded with flavor. We also got the Sriracha mayo which I highly recommend. Boba with fantastic; not too sweet with good flavor and the right amount of chew texture.“

“Fabulous place the food here is terrific. My wife and I have eaten here gotten takeout and picked catering for a party we had. Everything was fresh and delicious and they aren't skimpy on the portions. Some of our favorite items are the chicharrón tacos, the carne asada, the chips and tamales. “The first time we went to an 88 Bao Bao was the one in Dublin, and we remembered really liking the restaurant so we were super excited to find one opened in Concord too! So many things look good on the menu - we went with the pork xlb, pork pan fried buns, and boiled pork and cabbage dumplings. Everything was delicious but be aware that the flavors of their xlb do differ from places like din tai fung. The pork flavor in all the dumplings and buns was strong so you'll love it if you like pork. We would love to come back and try out the noodles in the future! They're quick with their service and you order and pay up front before they bring the food to you.“

I wouldn't normally go to this extreme but the dudes an albino and if he doesn't medicate each day he'll turn just as pink as Pepto Bismol from the sun. Ohh... a Casper's ...I think I'll go on and get a couple of chili dogs, all this walking around made me hungry, and Casper's puts out the best dogs in the world! The last time this little pipsqueek forgot his meds he was in Tijuana and when he turned Pepto Bismol pink the Mexican police jailed him because they thought he was from outer space, they even called NASA to come get him. “Very okay food in a nice setting. Bun was better than fast food but could be more billowy or chewy. Patties were a bit overdone. Seasoning and sauce was lacking. Lettuce was not crisp or fresh. “I was very happy to find this Mediterranean place in Alameda. You order either a pita, wrap, or bowl, and then you customize it however you want. You can choose a protein then add the extras you want. Some of the extras cost extra, but there are also plenty of free extras as well. Some of the free extras (like beets) are pretty skimpy though. One thing I learned is there are different types of couscous. I've always been accustomed to the Israeli couscous, which are tiny pearl-like pastas. But here, they have Moroccan couscous, which is more like a grain. This tasted great in the salad. What we had..+ Chicken shawarma wrap - Very well put together and very tasty. However, it was a bit smaller than wraps from Kebab Shop or Halal Guys.+ Chicken shawarma bowl - I added a lot of extras, and somehow it all tasted great together. The hummus was quite a bit thicker than I'm used to. The texture wasn't conducive to mixing with your salad or for dipping your pita in, but still very tasty.Overall, this was a happy find.“

“Yeah probably my most favorite restaurant in the bay. They were closed for a while and I went by a couple times to see if they were open lol. Very much addicted to their food. I've been coming here for over 20 years My coworker is the reason I found out about them. And I still get the same thing that he would ordered. A super chicken burrito, not a happy burrito, with shredded chicken, refried beans, and chips. It's the only place I buy chicken burritos, nowhere else. The season of their chicken goes really well with the cheese, the avocados sauce, the beans and their flour tortillas.“

Today, i saw an advertisement for a gyro bowl and it looked pretty good so I came to give it a try. The restaurant interior was very clean btw! I ordered the beef/lamb bowl with extra chicken. The bowl came with a hearty amount of meat, i was just being greedy by adding the extra. 10/10! Fresh tomatoes, fresh cucumbers! Perfect lettuce! That will be my go too! “Checked out this local burger place in Berkeley after checking Yelp for burgers near Telegraph Ave and Cal. I had their turkey burger which I have to say was the best spiced turkey burger I have had anywhere. A good sized, thin patty came on a sesame see led bun with their standard toppings. Was one of the few times I had to be carful eating it as it was juicy and messy, which is not the usual case for a Turkey burger. Their fries were OK and the sesame seed bun was good but maybe not as soft as some would like, but overall a really great little burger joint. Has some interesting choices I will have to try next time, line the lamb Persian burger and Black Bean burger. Check it out“

“I live in Southern California but needed to provide lunch for 85 people at an event in Northern California. Our previous lunch plans fell through the day before the event. In a panic I called this location and spoke to the manager, Anjam. He was polite and professional and embraced the concept of customer service. I need sandwiches, chips, sodas, cookies, plates and napkins. Not only was he able to accommodate a large order with less than 24 hour notice he made sure one of his employees personally delivered it to ensure nothing went wrong. I can't express how impressed I am with how smoothly everything went and as well as their attention to detail.“

“This has to be one of those hole in the wall Chinese spots that if you quickly drove by, you wouldn't have realized it was a gold mine! First off, quality of their food was amazing! After getting back home with our to go box, the fried food was still CRISPY. It was the crispy fish filet that sold us! Wow, batter was amazing, fluffy and did I say... crispy? Let's talk about the service, upon walking in I was immediately greeted with a friendly hello and smile by a younger girl who looked like she was probably helping her family's business, scooping away filing orders and still able to friendly greet me. Ambience was more to go style but they did have some tables and benches you'd be able to enjoy your food at. Parking might also be hard to come by since it's on a main busy street as well. Plus they were a bit more affordable than other places.I usually get the Chicken chop salad which I love. I rarely eat salads but it is really good. “BRING CASH, Classic old school American Chinese food. This place been open for 47 years( I know because I asked the lady working behind the counter). It taste like it did when I was a small child. The dry fried ribs taste the same..I remember when me and my dad would go get haircuts at Jackie's cuts and Styles a few doors down and my dad would buy a Quart of dried fried ribs. We could sit in the van post hair cut eating dry fried ribs with hot mustard. IT TASTE THE SAME. No it's not pretty but the food Go Crazy. I didnt get to take a picture because I ate it too fast.“

“Tried the cheesesteak with just onions and cheese to see if it tastes like an authentic Philly cheesesteak . It was pretty good but my only complaint is that it needed more gooey cheese. It ate a little dry but had really good flavor and I like how they chopped the steak up. The bread was nice. Pretty reasonable pricing too. I would go back again to try one of their cheesesteak hoagies with the additional toppings. Also, got the popcorn chicken and it was tasty.“

I thought that it was pricey at first, but when they brought the food out, I was amazed at the portions! The chicken drumsticks were HUGE, very well-seasoned, and juicy. The corn dog had an amazing cheese pull and was delicious. I was pleasantly surprised, for sure. The service was great and it only took about 5 minutes for them to prepare and hand me my hot and fresh meal. Koko is in the back of the food court, so you wouldn't even know it was there. “I don't agree with the other review. I think it's more likely some of the customers are rude rather than the people taking time out of their day to prepare snacks and meals for people. I like the vegan dogs and onions. I like to read the political stuff on the walls. I pile my vegan dog with diced onions and ketchup. I'm kind of afraid of mustard. I don't know why people want to fill up their body with the innards of other animals.Animal cells start to decay inside people when they eat them over time there is decayed cells inside your bowels. The vegan dog is tasty it doesn't seem the same as a juicy New Yorker or Kielbasa though. Impossible Sausage gets more plump and juicy and I like the vegan casing. Remember you are basically eating the intestinal lining of animals that only grazing on some plant. I think the vegan dogs should be cheaper to see what happens to customer preferences. I think Top Dog should go all vegan. There is hypocrisy in the progressive values of the owners and workers. The workers in the meat industry are being exploited. I should write a letter to the business. Because I have enjoyed going to Top Dog for a long time. Don't change anything else but provide plant based food because eating animals is abuse not food and not healthy. There are other vegan dogs out there that Top Dog should sell. I can't afford the other eating options and I can't afford to cook my own vegan dogs rights.“
