“Tangelo is one of my favorite yogurt shops ever! Even though it's a little further than the closest yogurt shop, I drive the extra few minutes for the quality and superior taste! The staff is always so helpful and friendly, and the shop is super clean. Only request is to bring back the salted caramel on a permanent basis!“
“I was here for about five minutes, but the taste of the cookie milk & cookies is enough for me to give this place 5 stars this time. Not too sweet or rich (I do have a sweet tooth so that opinion is probably skewed) and I liked the simplicity of my single scoop. It was enough for me to get my fix and didn't make me feel awful afterwards. I didn't try the other flavors but they seemed like a fresh departure from the usual combinations of other ice cream spots. Also, from the utensils, bowls, and sample spoons they use it seems like this place is environmentally friendly which is a plus. The staff were friendly and approachable too. Will definitely come back next time I'm in the area!“
“I was visiting a friend in the East Bay and craving some authentic Brazilian açaí when I found this place on Yelp. The food is phenomenal! I got the very berry açai bowl and an empada, and I could definitely tell that the ingredients are high quality. Every mouthful was delicious, and even the 15 oz size is a huge portion. The bowl it’s served in is deep, so it feels like a lot. My friend got a coxinha, which was just as yummy as the other two. It was also twice the size of coxinhas I’ve seen sold at other places. Impressive! The staff are so friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere of the café is warm and cozy. Highly recommend!“
“The Banana sundae and cookie monster concrete were delicious! This was my first time trying custard (not very common in California) and I was a fan! The smell of toffee as you enter the store is divine. Lexie was extremely friendly and answered all our questions! We're excited for them to become a local favorite!“
“Extremely helpful and friendly staff! They explained the different flavors in detail and were very patient with me and 3 friends deciding while there were a few people behind us. This was also like 10 minutes before closing!Got the matcha and strawberry which were such a good mix. Their matcha is perfectly balanced sweetness with a hint of bitterness from the strong matcha.I'm not a specifically dairy free person but their ice cream is the only non dairy ice cream that I have tried and really enjoyed. Will be back for more!“
“You will not regret going to Clancy's. My family have been eating ice cream from Clancy's for over 20yrs and have never been disappointed. They have a great variety of flavors to offer and the scoops are much larger than most. The staff is friendly and serve with a smile. No place to sit inside or outside but it's worth the trip!“
“Cozy ice cream shop and cafe! Guava ice cream with hint of chilly was nice. Gulab jamun sundae was delicious - topped with dried rose petals and pistachios. Samosas were just fine. Felt expensive for the portions and quality. They have some inside seating and ample space outside as well.Parking: Street side parking“
“One of the best froyo I've ever had! Wasn't able to try their gelato but I'm super impressed with their froyo -- super creamy, flavorful, texture is like soft serve ice cream. I'm so grateful I work by here because Yogurt Spot makes such a good after-work sweet treat. The employee who assisted me was very friendly and efficient. They offer samples of the gelato, and I'm assuming the froyo too, but I already knew what flavors I wanted so I didn't get froyo samples. Other customers were sampling the gelato. Froyo is priced per cup size, not oz, and includes 2 free toppings! Additional toppings are $0.75 each. Upfront the pricing seems higher than other chain froyo places but ultimately ends up being reasonable since pricing includes toppings and the cups are filled up high.I got a small, which I shared with my boyfriend, with Strawberry and Cookies and Cream + strawberries and Reese's PB cups toppings. Total came out to be $7-8. The froyo was so good and not icy at all. Can't wait to come back and try their gelato!“
“I am not Vegan and these are so good!!! I picked these up for my boyfriend's family who are vegan. The apple fritter was definitely my favorite, but they are all yummy. The girl working was very patient and friendly when helping me choose which ones to get. She also threw in some extra donut holes! The cinnamon one everyone raves about was sold out when I went around 11am. I'll definitely be back to bring them to the next family gathering. 10/10!!“
“Incredible gelato!! Came here for dessert after grabbing dinner with friends. It's a cute little spot but got pretty packed while we were there because there isn't much seating. There are tables outside where you can enjoy the gelato if weather permits. The server let us sample a few flavors and I ended up getting a kids size with panna cotta and dark chocolate sorbet. Both flavors were delicious but the dark chocolate sorbet was absolutely incredible. The flavor was so rich and creamy-I had a hard time believing it was sorbet. And an even greater compliment: my friend, who had just gotten back from Italy, said that Almare is better than gelato in Italy!“
“Almost Toffee, DARKEST (vegan) chocolate, and Ethiopian coffee were the heaviest of flavor hitters for this round of ice cream in Walnut Creek! Solid service where they were able to offer some solid samples, even offering both dark and darkest chocolate for contrast in flavors! Music taste was impeccable as well!!“
“Fenton's is a long time staple in Oakland, even featured in the movie "UP" a few years ago. They make their own ice cream in house, you can see through a display window and watch them prepare it.There's a to-go line for ice cream as well as plenty of seating which can accommodate large groups. They have a big menu with burgers, fries, a variety of sandwiches. They're well known for their crab sandwich. I like eating some ice cream with some fries.Fenton's ice cream and sundaes are pretty good. My favorite flavors are Coffee Cookie Dream, Cream Caramel Almond Crunch, and Strawberry Cheesecake. They put a lot of attention in their sundaes. My cousin likes to order them deconstructed, with the syrups and toppings on the side, she thinks you get more that way.. hard to say.Come check out Fentons.“
“Ice cream was great. The two young ladies behind the counter were helpful. It was kind of odd that they were just standing around. Kind of looking into space/bored. It wasn't busy and I'm guessing they aren't allowed to be on their phones. They did a little cleaning up but I guess everything was done. Just my random observation.“
“We love the Darkest Chocolate here. This has become our sort celebratory go-to place to reward our kids for when they are their best behavior.Vegetarian options: Their Darkest Chocolate ice cream is Vegan. Not sure if there are other vegan or vegetarian options.“
“I love donuts! This place not only has the variety of flavors but the customer service is excellent. Very friendly couple helped me with my order. I got the maple bacon donuts, twists, and donut holes. I found out about them through the Too Good To Go app. I'm so happy I did cuz now I have a new favorite spot. Very happy tummy!“
“Omar (co-owner) was very patient with me. I tried a few different flavors. They're so good it's really difficult to choose! He said I could have 2 flavors in the small. I chose popcorn and the butter pecan. Both are the bomb! The ambiance is nice. The place is clean. This is my ice cream/gelato favorite place!“
“The Yogurt is okay, but good value and very popular place. You can choose and mix flavors, and up to three topping for $1.What I like most is that they put toppings inside also, they mix the topping in so it’s not just sprinkled on the top.“
“Post lunch milk shake! Clancy's is closed on Wednesdays, and I wasn't going to be denied! We swung over to Loards and got our fix. The shop is in front of their production facility. There's a small parking lot and plenty of street parking. Not sure what happens at night though. We were greeted from the back room as we entered. Apparently, the person who works the counter has other responsibilities as well. She came out very quickly, was friendly and asked how she could help us. The shop is a throwback to ice cream parlors of olde. There was an open case with sodas and a coffin case with plenty of "pints" & "quarts". The flavor menu was on a board above and behind the counter. The service freezer was a older type design where each rectangle and two doors that were hinged and could be opened separately or completely removed from the opening. The doors were not see-through unlike a more contemporary ice cream parlor. She got a Champagne Sherbet Freeze which she thoroughly enjoyed. It started with a new can of Club Soda, the remainder was presented to us when the drink was completed. I got a Coffee Shake. It was all ice cream, no milk. Probably thick enough to stay in the cup upside down and thin enough to go through a straw. Not a bad deal for $5.95. Definitely worth a visit when in the area and craving ice cream! Next time, a Banana Shake with Banana!“
“these are going to be as sweet as they look. some flavors are a little better than others. but the cornbread was so good it was eaten before i could get a photo. really enjoyed the brownie batter. but the strawberry could have used a better cookie recipe and less frosting“
“Love the rotating ice cream flavors, interesting flavor choices and all were tasty. We tried the ginger, marzipan, red bean, and pumpkin. The marzipan and ginger were especially flavorful. We got the ice cream sandwiches, the bread is very similar to a doughnut. The ratio of ice cream to bread is perfect, although it tastes best when eaten right away and the bread is still a little warm. Not a negative but just something to note - the sandwiches are pretty messy to eat, so grab napkins!“
“the best smelling aroma floats the entire street this little store is located on, but unfortunately the taste does not live up to the scent. order ahead on snackpass to pick up as you cannot enter the store. they serve you from an outside window, and they give minimal utensils. i even asked for a napkin and the employee pointed to the one with utensil, and that's all you get... crown jewel - i thought this cream cheese would have more flavor or something special to it since it's a "house special" but it's really just whipped cream. the waffle is plain and nothing special on its own, but they do give several strawberries on top. i know it's just a waffle spot, but i definitely expected better. kind of mid dessert compared to all the other spots in berkeley.“
“Review from 4/11/24: My cousin and I took my one year old son and he loved the orange cream and sour watermelon Italian ice. The guy working was nice and let my son try the banana Italian ice, but he did not like it. My cousin ordered mango and passion fruit Italian ice. The passion fruit wasn't very tasty, but the mango was delicious.“
“Tasty drinks and quality Boba. We got the popcorn chicken meal - a medium drink, fries, and popcorn chicken. Definitely enough food for two people!Just personal preference, I prefer the popcorn chicken with a bit more seasoning, but the seasoned fries were excellent.“
“I always order curbside when I have extra time the milk chocolate chip cookies are amazing can’t go wrong super soft and goey heat the for 10 secs Amazing with milk ! I also like they’re other flavors today I’ll be trying the mystery “
“You must try their Ube soft serve but personally won’t recommend the taiyaki - does not taste fresh. The crepe was frozen and we were told to wait 10 minutes before eating it.And we preferred the soft serve vs the hard ice cream. Our fave hard ice cream was White Peach.“
“Great hot wings and burgers. Obviously the ice cream was awesome. What was a pleasant surprise was the service (5 stars). The server, food runner and everyone working seemed to be fairly young. Everyone was attentive and on top of their game and the food came out fast and efficient. Glasses were always full without asking. It's rare to have received this level of service from such young people. Great job.“
“I really enjoyed this place when dropping in for a cup of hot chocolate. Our hot chocolates came in China cups and were beautifully decorated. Plus, they were made of chocolate syrup, not just cocoa powder. My daughter loved their cat & coffee decorations. :)“
“This place has absolutely delicious birria tacos and consomé. This has been the only thing I've ordered from their menu (there's no other place I know of near me that serves these tacos) but I would also like to try their birria quesadillas. They're listed on the menu as "red tacos" and are about $15 for 3 tacos and the consomé is a separate extra cost. When it comes out fresh, the tacos are super cheesy and yummy. The building is very spacious and doesn't get too busy, so I always get to grab a table. In the middle of the restaurant, they display their desserts and pastries such as flan and alfajores. The restaurant is located in the Park and Shop surrounded by a lot of different Asian cuisines, dessert shops, and a grocery store. If you try parking close to the restaurant, that is the area that is the most congested, we always park in the back of the building.“
“The peanut butter fudge deluxe sundae with just plain Vanilla ice cream is the best peanut butter sundae I've ever had, and I've tried many others. Clean shop and the gentleman who helped me was nice and smartly put my two items in a bag to make them easier to carry. Above and beyond service in my opinion. Most servers just make you figure something out yourself. Check them out!“
“Love this place. The manager is very nice. They're one of a few places that still make frozen banana dipped in chocolate and nuts. They also make excellent pies, especially mud pies. They have delicious assortment of chocolate. They even have sugar free chocolate. Must try if you haven't had it. ‼ They'll be close for renovation from Xmas till March 2024. I ordered my mudpie for Xmas dessert. Not sure what I'm going to do with them closed for 3 months.“
“Ube ice cream down the street from my house?!! YES PLEASE!! Some of our favorite scoops include, strawberry brownie, strawberry pop tart, blueberry pie crumble, coffee flake, Cookie Monster, and horchata! We love you Milk and Cookie Bar!!!!!“
“Great place! Tons of toppings to choose from! The cherry tastes like cherry slurpees with some cherry juice and melted marshmallow topping wow! Plus pineapple dole with some blueberries and strawberries. Tart with Heath bar and almonds.... Moche on top!!! Cashier was real sweet and cute too! I didn't his name but you'll see if you go there.“
“Yeah best burger in town. I like to double Diablo. Best chocolate shakesDietary restrictions: They have a Paleo Burger and a keto Burger I try them both are greatParking: You can park there for free if you have an electric car they have two public free no charge charging stationsKid-friendliness: Always lots of kids having fun and enjoying the food“
“I NEED to stop by this place every time I am in downtown Walnut Creek. ' If you love popcorn, this is a must stop on your East Bay adventure. There location has a boba tea section and a popcorn section; with this review only being around the popcorn section. Flavors: There are a multitude of flavors, like movie theater, kettle corn, double cheddar and chicago mix. Beyond that, there are specialty flavors that include Ube Caramel, Matcha, and Chocolate (note that these three flavors are more expensive. I have tried the Ube Caramel, Matcha, and Chicago mix; with a Chocolate popcorn just waiting for me to open. Based on what I have had, every flavor has been a 5/5 and the Chicago Mix is my personal favorite. Overall: I cannot recommend this pace enough and you need to get yourself here ASAP.“
“My daughter and I were hankering for a little bit of ice cream after lunch and walked around the corner and there was Tucker's ice cream. It was a little harder to find and I thought because the front door is in a bit from the street. Entering there was a typical sour milk smell, but we know that's why it is with ice cream. The entry, and the premises is very nice, and the scooper was a friendly fellow. They also serve other things besides ice cream. We shared a double scoop of coffee, brittle, and Heath crunch. The coffee was really good but the Heath bar crunch was a lot more ice cream and not very many Heath bar bits. The double scoop with tip came out to nine dollars. We sat and ate our ice cream. The ice cream is really creamy.“
“Wow. This was really good. I loved dipping my chips in my clam chowder. I ordered a soup and sandwich combo. I got the tuna sandwich. It was good. I forgot to order cheese but it was fine without it. It was nice to find good soup. I would definitely return if I am in the area again soon.“
“I visited this location that is situated in a courtyard off of Broadway in uptown Oakland, CA. This location is an upscale ice cream truck on wheels. It was well into the evening and close to closing when I arrived to see there were no customers in line and the courtyard was empty. The attendant was very friendly and engaging and I think our conversation carried on longer than I expected because we both realized we had ties to the Washington, D.C. area. I appreciated his customer service. The ice cream was good. It is on the same level of similar ice cream shops that attempt to distinguish themselves by having unique flavors and ice cream concepts. Overall a good sweet treat experience. On this occasion I ordered a brownie sundae with cookies and cream ice cream. I was a bit indecisive with the ice cream selection as I originally wanted to order a two-scoop cone, however in a rush I didn't take my time in selecting a more traditional ice cream flavor to accompany the chocolate brownie with chocolate fudge. But it was still delicious. Give them a try.“
“I wanted to to say thank you to Hope for being so friendly and giving my puppy butters a treat! I really like when this drive thru brings some of their unique flavors from their larger location. But even just the basics like vanilla milk shakes and strawberry milkshakes are excellent!“
“This place had the freshest coconut gelato I've ever tasted (and I've had MANY coconut gelatos in Italy, as well as up and down the Eastern seaboard and West Coast). It was very refreshing, and the sweetness was just right. My teen son said this place will be his greatest memory of Berkeley.“
“A classic no frills fro-yo place. We stopped by Yogurt Shack on a Saturday night and it was packed. Looks like a popular hangout for students in the area. The yogurt and toppings were self serve. I was impressed with the flavors and creaminess of the yogurt. I enjoyed the peanut butter, chocolate and coffee.“
“This ice cream tastes irresistible of it's breathtaking flavors! A yummy stunning flavor in my opinion is the cookies and coffee! I strongly suggest that you go to Tara's Ice cream to get this irresistible piece of work that will leave you speechless!“
“stopped by the shops in the area and decided to grab a bite here :) cute little shop. no line on a sunday afternoon. lots of families and children lounging around. loved this place because of all their non-dairy options!! they were friendly about me asking for samples. got their dairy free cookie dough option in a cup and it was great. few tables in front to sit at as well.“
“Came here on a Friday afternoon after I picked up the boys. Boys wanted some ice cream on a hot day and I had a craving for some boba. We ordered through the window. Kids got some Thai tea ice cream and I ordered boba. Everything came out very quickly. The staff here is very nice and courteous. If you guys are around the area and need something sweet please come by here and try them out“
“This was our first time in today and the people who are working were so friendly and even gave us a waffle to try, the drinks were delicious, the chairs and atmosphere were comfy and relaxing, this will definitely become a staple for us in the neighborhood.“
“This place is a one stop shop. Great small selection of food items but a big desert selection that's so delicious!!! Great costumer service, my daughter and i wanted to eat our food first and then enjoy some ice cream and we felt welcomed the entire time.“
“We arrived just after they had closed and the man was so kind he let us in and said we could order anything although you could clearly see they were all cleaned up. He even went as far as to make me a fresh lemonade with chia seeds. While he was making it his daughter and another woman arrived surprised to see customers given the time and they too were too kind. The daughter quickly jumped behind the counter and offered to open up all the ice cream lids to see if any looked more delicious. Customer service amazing, very clean, DELICIOUS ice cream and the prices compared to other similar locations are unbeatable. Parking is a little tricky but oh so worth it! Try the mango and maracuya you won't regret it. Will be returning to satisfy these cravings for sure! Thank you guys!“
“We love coming here during the summer. The burgers are made to order, the buns are soft and makes the burger super yummy. ? Top it off with some soft serve with fun toppings. ??? this place has indoor seating and one table outside. you can order from a window outside or at the counter.“
“I tried their seasonal pistachio flavor and my partner got the mint chocolate chip flavor. Mint chocolate chip was really great! I love the many flecks of chocolate vs. big chunks of chocolate. Pistachio was ok, it had whole pieces of pistachio, but I think mint chocolate chip won out here. Will definitely be back!“
“i’ve been to this myo AT LEAST 10 TIMES.they have such a great variety of flavors every time we go. the workers are so sweet and happy to help.i haven’t had a bad experience here yet and each time i go to another yogurt shop, i think “yeah, myo is still the winner”. they’re simply, unmatched.“
“The Highlight of MoragaI've been here many times and I have never been let down. There's more flavors than I could imagine, and all are super good. The service is always wonderful and accommodating. It would be worth a trip just to see the inside; it's filled lots of character.“
