“This was my first time at Staxx although I have noticed it for many years. We began by choosing a table and looking at the menu. After 5pm there is a "secret menu" which consists of special meat cuts that are verbally listed. We did choose a NY steak the cut was huge and cost about $69 without counting all the additional options. From seating to eating it took a little over an hour but man was the food good. We had zero leftovers at our table. I would say expect to spend about $40-60 per person on average if you are a non-drinker making this a $$$ restaurant. It was definitely good food and I highly recommend the brussel sprouts. The majority of the seating is high tables and there is one sofa seating area. I did love the spanish guitar music they were playing it reminded me of an old CD i had called, 'Azucar- guido Luciani'..... The restraunt accepts reservations and the place seemed to get pretty full by 6pm.“

“First time going & loved it. Even took my dogs. Had 1 beer & enjoyed the music & food. Even got to see some sea babys.. Parking: Tight parking..meaning the lot was full but street parking available. Took 2min max to walk bk to the car.Kid-friendliness: It is very kid friendly especially with everything to look at but in my opinion music might be to loud for some children. I took my dogs they didn't mind it at all.“

“Jena and Bruce are awesome. Loved Bruce's life stories and friendliness. The vibe is nice. The TV is massive and is a great place to catch a game. Very fun to go here when my girlfriend and I came from the city. It was a great way to get a true small town vibe.“

“The food was amazing. My husband ordered the fried mozzarella app. It was good but the bread and oil dip was really good! My husband got the lasagna and he enjoyed it and finished it. My girls (7 and 9) got the kids butter penne with Parmesan. They liked jt. I got the chicken Marsala over fettuccine noodles. It was outstanding. If you like Marsala.“
“Cutest wine bar with some of the best wines from California. On Fridays they have painting classes at 6pm. I wish I could have gone to the one last night which was a Frida painting. The service here is spectacular and I really enjoyed my time here. It looks like a great place to meet up with friends and it is adjacent to one of the only fine dining restaurants in Cayucos.“
“Los Olivos Wine Merchant offers a delightful experience for wine enthusiasts. With an extensive selection of local wines and knowledgeable staff, it's a haven for discovering new favorites. The inviting atmosphere and occasional tastings add to the charm, making it a must-visit destination in the heart of Santa Ynez Valley's wine country.“

“This is a gem! Wine list is carefully selected, wonderful beers on tap, easy but delicious menu and personable owners. That's a 10 out of 10 for me! Don't miss the homemade soup of the day, killer grilled cheese, curated cheese snack or board to go with your drinks and stellar views of the Bay! Highly recommend Savory Palette and if you are lucky enough to go when there is karaoke, well it is super fun!“
