“Crab Pub is the best! I’ve spent years going to Crab Hut but it’s been getting so expensive. I found Crab Pub literally a few days after they opened and been going ever since. I recommend then to everyone. You won’t be disappointed. Only thing they don’t have is corn bread but it’s ok!”

“I got the 'Chef's Choice Sashimi Bento Box' with a salad. My boyfriend got 'Katsu Don'. We also shared a bowl of Garlic Edamame and the 'Dancing Tuna' sushi roll.

The bento box was good. The fish was fresh, the gyoza was the perfect consistency and tasty, the side salad was marinated well with the dressing.

The Katsu Don was also really well put together and was super filling and tasty.

The garlic edamame was like no edamame Ive had before. The sauce they put on the edamame made it the best I've ever had and well portioned out.

The sushi roll we shared was the perfect balance of flavor and textures. Not to spicy. It enhanced the fish flavor with accentuation and made it blend well together.

I think I found another top sushi place.”

Recommended flavors in no particular order are spicy, soy garlic, yangnyeom (seems to be a wonderful balance of spicy and soy garlic with a bit of sweet), and their plain (no sauce) shows just how masterful they are at their primary product. Wings, dummies, strips. It's all good. Great for takeout or dine in. They have some unique spirits and cocktails as well.”

“This was a great breakfast choice at an affordable price! There was a short wait of about 15 minutes to be seated. I ordered the ham and eggs which came with fresh fruit and pancakes for only $12.99! Everything was flavorful and hot. The only negative was that they didn't serve our pancakes until after we had finished the rest of our meal. They kept telling us they were working on them, so I assume there was some sort of kitchen issue. Not a huge deal, and the pancakes were hot and fresh once we did get them. We would definitely return!”

The kids loved it and so did I. This was my first time having it in 8 years and it immediately brought me back to being in Daegu. The food was amazing and brought us right back to being there. Everything was on point. Also, the service was excellent. Our server was attentive and kept our water full. You won't leave hungry if you order a family meal. I can't wait to come back. Eat up!!!”

“Loved it! Went earlier today and I ordered an iced latte and 6 pack of filled malasadas. My coffee was great, far better than other coffee shops I’ve tried in National City, and was made surprisingly quick. The malasadas were warm and fresh, but some of the fillings were a little too artificial to my liking. Service was also great, the young girl at the front definitely gave off that Aloha vibe, and guided me through the menu as I was a little confused at first. Got my malasadas within 15 minutes, would recommend.”

“This coffee kiosk located inside Plaza Bonita makes some pretty good coffee. I had an iced Americano with 2% Milk and a dusting on cinnamon.

The iced coffee was well made and quite flavorful. They initially did not put enough milk in the coffee so I had to ask for more. They offer locally baked goods.

They service was good. The young lady who took my order had a good sense of humor. It's a good spot for coffee while you are at the mall.”

“Craft beer places are a dime a dozen in SD, but I knew after one visit that Machete is easily going to become a favorite water hole to visit when I am in the mood for a good variety of craft beer. They have a bunch of different styles, and a selection of beers from breweries that I either haven't heard of or never tasted before. Love that. It gets boring seeing the same 3-4 breweries at every place that offers craft beer in SD.Vibe is super chill, casual and divey.Staff here is really nice. I didn't get his name, but he let me try a few different beers and gave great recommendations based on the styles I like.No food here, but the Papi’s Teppanyaki food truck is here from time to time. Check their IG for their schedule. Not sure if there are ever other options since I only recently found out about this place.Cheers!Edit: I came back a second time and the super cool bartender's name is Jett. If you come in on a day he's manning the bar, you're in great hands. :)

The flavors brought me right back to home-cooked meals from my childhood. When I walked in, I was welcomed by a warm, family-style setting—and even karaoke was happening! It felt nostalgic and comforting, like stepping into a family gathering. Although I only grabbed takeout this time, I’m definitely planning to dine in next time to soak in more of that vibe.

The Oriental Cafe offers generous portions for generous prices and unless you've fasted the whole day you will be bringing home Leftovers.
The staff is friendly and efficient as they tend to the constant flow of customers that filled the humble establishment.
Some may take mark down this Cafe for its simplistic decor; but others, like myself, find it charming. And after trying their dishes, it only adds delight to find a nice whole in the wall that let's their dishes speak for themselves.
I recommend dining in because you will get a serving of their egg drop soup and it is absolutely worth trying. It's hearty flavor reminds you of the soup you wish you had on a cold day or when you're feeling under the weather.
This is an establishment that deserves its business and I am already planning on coming back and bringing more family to experience it themselves.”
