“Crab Pub is the best! I’ve spent years going to Crab Hut but it’s been getting so expensive. I found Crab Pub literally a few days after they opened and been going ever since. I recommend then to everyone. You won’t be disappointed. Only thing they don’t have is corn bread but it’s ok!”

“I got the 'Chef's Choice Sashimi Bento Box' with a salad. My boyfriend got 'Katsu Don'. We also shared a bowl of Garlic Edamame and the 'Dancing Tuna' sushi roll.

The bento box was good. The fish was fresh, the gyoza was the perfect consistency and tasty, the side salad was marinated well with the dressing.

The Katsu Don was also really well put together and was super filling and tasty.

The garlic edamame was like no edamame Ive had before. The sauce they put on the edamame made it the best I've ever had and well portioned out.

The sushi roll we shared was the perfect balance of flavor and textures. Not to spicy. It enhanced the fish flavor with accentuation and made it blend well together.

I think I found another top sushi place.”

“If you're looking for delicious birria, you have to check out La Malcriada in National City on East 18th Street! I had breakfast there this morning and everything was absolutely amazing. The food was flavorful, fresh, and perfectly made—and the service was excellent from start to finish (props to Angel). You can really taste the love they put into every bite. Highly recommend this spot if you're craving authentic birria or just want a great meal!”

“This was a great breakfast choice at an affordable price! There was a short wait of about 15 minutes to be seated. I ordered the ham and eggs which came with fresh fruit and pancakes for only $12.99! Everything was flavorful and hot. The only negative was that they didn't serve our pancakes until after we had finished the rest of our meal. They kept telling us they were working on them, so I assume there was some sort of kitchen issue. Not a huge deal, and the pancakes were hot and fresh once we did get them. We would definitely return!”

My coffee was great, far better than other coffee shops I’ve tried in National City, and was made surprisingly quick. The malasadas were warm and fresh, but some of the fillings were a little too artificial to my liking. Service was also great, the young girl at the front definitely gave off that Aloha vibe, and guided me through the menu as I was a little confused at first. Got my malasadas within 15 minutes, would recommend.”

“This coffee kiosk located inside Plaza Bonita makes some pretty good coffee. I had an iced Americano with 2% Milk and a dusting on cinnamon.

The iced coffee was well made and quite flavorful. They initially did not put enough milk in the coffee so I had to ask for more. They offer locally baked goods.

They service was good. The young lady who took my order had a good sense of humor. It's a good spot for coffee while you are at the mall.”

The Oriental Cafe offers generous portions for generous prices and unless you've fasted the whole day you will be bringing home Leftovers.
The staff is friendly and efficient as they tend to the constant flow of customers that filled the humble establishment.
Some may take mark down this Cafe for its simplistic decor; but others, like myself, find it charming. And after trying their dishes, it only adds delight to find a nice whole in the wall that let's their dishes speak for themselves.
I recommend dining in because you will get a serving of their egg drop soup and it is absolutely worth trying. It's hearty flavor reminds you of the soup you wish you had on a cold day or when you're feeling under the weather.
This is an establishment that deserves its business and I am already planning on coming back and bringing more family to experience it themselves.”
