“I have dined in here multiple times, each time was an extraordinarily unique experienced compared to other sushi bars and restaurants. The service is great here and cater to any needs you may have. Besides typical Japanese dishes you will find more exotic ones but excellence in flavor is still there. Everything is served on beautiful works of art you'll never see used as a dish anywhere else that binds with the food it's presented with to create a pleasing first impression when your waiting brings it to you. Over the many times I've dined here I have ordered the sunshine roll, nigiri mix, miso soup, seared sturgeon, ngo burger, and wagyu tsukune, all I very much recommend, but if you want something unique settle for the wagyu tsukune.“
“Fresh sushi with good quality ingredients. I got take out from here, so I can't say much about the service but the packaging of the food was beautiful. The presentation definitely shows the care they put into their food! We got two rolls and the chirashi. The fish tasted very fresh and good quality which is hard to find in Sac. The rolls were very good as well, though I can't say they wowed me. Overall, I think the quality of the fish is great but you are paying for it with the prices.“
“I eat a lot of sushi, and with my second visit in two weeks, this has quickly become a new favorite! Fresh & flavorful fish prepared in unique and traditional ways. Nigiri & Sashimi are amazing high-quality fish NOT typically available at most restaurants. No noisy crowds like Mi***y. It is a Homey connected vibe, unlike K*u. If you like mayonnaise on your fish, go somewhere else. Only light, fresh, unique sauces here. I'll be back!“
“So good we went back twice in 1 week. We kind of wish the Wasabi plates were a bit better but small small detail. All staff are great!! Sake is wonderful. Eric is a Great sushi chef!*Inside tip~~~try the Miang Kham--wrap ingredienta in spinach leaf & keep chewing-!*“
“I travel for work every week and have to come to the area for the work I perform at nearby Beale AFB. I usually stay at the Residence Inn, however it was booked. I arrived Tuesday March 12th at about 430pm and was lookig for a good meal since I only had breakfast. I found this restaurant after a quick search and found out it was open recently as it was not there last time I visited. I sat at the sushi bar. Ordered hot green tea, my go to to relax me after my flight and drive from Sacramento airport. I then ordered the shashimi appetizer which was blue fin, golden salmon and pepperfin tuna. Excellent presentation and umami. I then ordered the spicy Gyunika ramen. The flavor of the soy broth and thin noodles made my day. The tender short rib and soft boiled egg were fantastic. The entire bowl was amazing. I then ordered the Ankimo, monkfish liver or the foie gras of the sea. The smooth texture, crisp cucumber, roe, and fig made this 5 portion plate well worth it. Dont think of the word liver when ordering and enjoy the plating and fantastic umami. I finished with yuzu cheescake and the soft creamy texture and chocolate was perfect way to end my meal, along with another cup of green tea. I decided that I would be back the next day Wednesday for more. I went back on the next day for dinner again and sat at the bar. This time I ordered the Seared Tuna Tataki, Unagi Don and green tea cheesecake. I again ordered a hot green tea, my go to even at home after a long day. The seared Tuna melts in your mouth and has very good flavor. I enjoyed every bite. I then ordered the Unagi Don, fresh water eel over sushi rice. It was amazing. The eel sauce and bbq eel were perfect and the extra sauce dripping into the rice made it even better. Finishing off with the green tea cheese cake and tea. I checked my schedule and I will be back in June for a week, can't wait to try more on the menu next time I am in town. As someone that travels 80% of every month all over the country and world I typically only eat Asian style foods when travelling; it is lighter , fresher and typically quieter in their restuarants. This is important for someone on the road like me all the time. Fantastic food and customer service.“
“I've been here a couple times and in short....its well above solid. Food is tasty and innovative. The chefs are full of personality and conversation. Many items on the menu have "seasonal veggies" so you do take a roll of the dice on some. But when I got a vegetable I'm not too keen on, it was still a tasty addition to the flavor profile. I'll definitely be back more!“
“This small restaurant makes you feel you are in a Japanese neighborhood. There is one chef and one service lady who is very respectful and makes you enjoy the dinning experience. We only go to this place when we grave sushi. We love the food and the owners“
“Can't believe I didn't take any pictures to post with the review but everything was so delicious and tasted so fresh! We ordered the Mikey special, Lindsay special, Deep fried California, Fireball and 911.Each roll had its own unique taste so it was hard for me to pick a favorite. The price was more than fair for the quality of fresh ingredients, presentation and their service.Definitely recommending to everyone and will be going back again.“
“We did the AYCE and it was amazing. The quality of the sushi was amazing for the price per person. Their service was great. Very friendly and polite. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for bang for your buck. Will definitely come back again if we're ever in the area.“
“Excellent sushi. The sushi chef had 10 years of experience. You will not be disappointed. The floor is a bit sticky when you walk over it and the outside of the sushi display glass could be cleaned. Tried the Phoenix roll and the Crispy Crab roll.“
“I love this place! All their hand rolls are filled with so much fish and it tastes so good. In this picture I got the 4 roll special with 4 different types of rolls. I like that they make each roll at a time and will serve it to you when you finish eating the last roll. The service also is amazing every time I come. They’re all very friendly and will explain everything to you, just great vibes. I also tried their lychee soju and it was so delicious. They’re also very innovative with their rolls such as the zig zag roll which was hand downs the best roll I had!“
“We felt oddly welcomed by chef Hieu and his team. The ambiance was pleasant throughout our 2h stay and continuous chats.Food was not only delicious, but every piece was presented with a certain admiration towards the life of the animal - it was different, and they knew it.To whoever decides to visit: sit at the bar; interact with the fellas preparing your meal. Ask about them, interact with the environment. They did not present food, they presented an experience.Bathroom was impeccably clean and prices were moderate. Totally worthy.Should be given a chance of visiting the capital again, I'll surely stop by for another pleasant experience.Dietary restrictions: The chef accommodated our dietary restrictions, despite the note on the menu. Every item was presented and explained to ensure a tranquil meal“
“Love this place. One of my top 3 sushi restaurants in Sacramento area and I've tried dozens here. Love the rolls here! They really stand out from the rest. They have very unique combinations of ingredients and sauces that they use. The prices are also very reasonable compared to some of the other sushi places I've been to. The service is always good here too. Highly recommend this place.“
“We started ordering out from here and were pleasantly surprised with the amazing sushi and reasonable prices. We have now started coming in at least once a week to eat in. They are so kind and offer great service along with the delicious sushi and sashimi! We’ve tried a lot and have never disliked anything.“
“I haven't been here for years. I couldn't even remember what kind of food they had. We decided to try it out again a few nights ago, and It was really good. They have a nice variety of food and beers. My wife got a cider and I got a peanut butter stout. It taste exactly like peanut butter. I liked it. We also ordered a few things to share. We got a pizza, some pulled pork tacos and a burger. My daughter ordered the macaroni and cheese. Even though I didn't try it, it looked good and she liked it. I will definitely come here again, and much sooner next time. They have outdoor and indoor seating, which is nice.“
“We love Arigato Sushi! Everything we've eaten from here is delicious! My husband loves the spider roll, and I love the teriyaki chicken and anything tempura. We've dinned in, done takeout and also delivery. Everything has been great every time. If you like Japanese food, this is the place!“
“A go-to lunch spot for years! Never disappointed when we come here. Staff are super friendly, attentive and accommodating. Especially Elaine, who's the best and our most favorite server. A moderately priced casual Japanese restaurant that serves delicious food. We often go for the lunch bento which comes with soup, salad, California rolls and your choice of two item protein. The sashimi is fresh and good slice portion. We rolled out of there each time full and satisfied.“
“Cute little spot that I've been wanting to try for awhile now. It's nice to see more establishments in west Roseville. So I've been looking for a go-to sushi spot for awhile now that serves good fresh sushi (we go to mikuni often but it is pricey for a simple regular sushi fix). Well, I've finally found it! This place is fresh, delicious, and down the street from me. We got the Benjamin roll and the spicy edamame and they are sooo good. Service was great and friendly. Never felt rushed or ignored. Can't wait to be back!“
“I found this amazing little Japanese sushi restaurant and they had Hamachi Kama my favorite, it's the fish cheek grilled and so yummy! The service was great, I sat at the sushi bar and they talked me into some grilled eel sashimi, and provided great conversations. Definitely will go back if I'm ever in the area!“
“We had 5 children with us, the team that took care of us were kind and patient with our brood. The food was delicious and seemed to be on the bigger side of sushi rolls. The sushi came out chilled, it was refreshing. They even made a "kids" ramen for us with noodles and broth only. They were on top of refills and checked on us often even though we sat outside, and they were busy. This will be a must for us when we visit again.Kid-friendliness: We had 5 kids with us 13,12,8,4,and 2 they had something for everyone and even made "kid friendly" chopsticks so they could use them if they wanted. They also brought out forks just in case. They had kid cups and made sure they had everything they could need.In the restroom it would be nice to have a changing tableWheelchair accessibility: It would be a tight fit but definitely doable. The restroom is big enough for a chair to fit comfortably along with a caregiver if needed.“
“Most likely my favorite place to go for sushi, in any city I have been in (including San Francisco). You will never find a better sushi buffet than Raku, and they have two locations in the area (Sacramento and Roseville), and both are amazing.“
“I had the tempura lunch special and and Unagi roll. The staff was incredibly nice. It was my first time in, and seeing the koi pond still there was amazing. The tempura was perfect, with the pumpkin being amazing. The rolls were fun and not too sweet, which made me happy. Probably the best lunch place in midtown.Parking: Limited parking. If you have shopping to do I'd pop by the Natural Foods Co-op and then walk to Koi to pick up a take out order after you shop.“
“Me and my coworkers ordered the sushi boatIt was the best sushi I’ve ever hadSo yammy so fresh and juicyThe rolls were just unbelievably deliciousI recommend everyone to try itGreat job AlexAnd everyone for such a beautiful restaurant and very yammy sushi“
“Small, cozy spot with bar seating for some good Ramen Soup- broth was rich and flavorful so much so the noodles were flavorful. Delicious. I'll definitely be back for the Ramen Soup. Gyoza and Sushi was decent. We got there just in time before it got super busy with a small wait time.Downer: Parking - is difficult and tight.“
“I’ve been coming here for 2 years . Every single time I’ve had great service and fresh food . They have delicious built your own poke bowl and sushi. The owner always asked my feedback and really cares what customers think of food freshness or if anything has changed. I’m ? satisfied with this place!Vegetarian options: I’ve tried their vegetarian bowl and it’s delicious. Toppings options are plenty to choose : tofu, cucumbers, greens, zucchini, etc.Parking: There’s a lot of small business so the parking gets full but there’s space to park towards the back.“
“The food is delicious. Even the simple meals are packed with great flavor. The miso soup is the best I've ever had. The staff is friendly and quick. Everything is priced very well for portions and flavor. I've been there twice now and both experiences have been exceptional. It is my new favorite spot. Would recommend making a reservation. If you don't and hve to wait it's worth it.“
“Mikuni is a sushi lover's paradise! With its creative and flavorful rolls, fresh sashimi, and vibrant atmosphere, every visit is a culinary adventure. The menu offers a wide variety of options to satisfy all tastes, and the skilled chefs always impress with their attention to detail. Whether you're a sushi aficionado or new to Japanese cuisine, Mikuni is a must-visit destination for an unforgettable dining experience.“
“My wife and I always order the sashimi platter. The seafood is always so fresh. The rolls we had were also wonderful. The food has always been great. I want to give huge props to our server, Nomi! She was outstanding! Very kind and quick with suggestions when asking what we wanted. She made my granddaughters 16th birthday wonderful! Thank you Nomi!“
“Honestly, one of the best value AYCE sushi experience I’ve had in a while. We had the COURSE A AYCE option ($30/person) and the variety of foods and selection of sushi was overwhelming (in a good way). The fish was fresh and tasty. Shrimp and veggie tempura was great.Service was also top notch. Our server came by often to check-in and take additional orders and food came out incredibly quickly. Will definitely be back.“
“Everything about sushi house is absolutely wonderful! The sushi chefs make the best rolls, and the main waitress that’s always there is the sweetest and always takes great care of us. They even modify things so that our two year old can eat easily. This is our go to spot.“
“First time here and the food was amazing. I got the Bay Island Roll and Green Goddess did not disappoint, I actually had a really hard time choosing which roll I wanted to be my last bite. My dad got the Bento Box with Chicken and Salmon Teriyaki with CA roll and was beyond happy. We are leaving here full and happy. Will absolutely be back.“
“The Boneless Yangyum spicy Chicken was very tasty and they give you a big portion for the price. The entree also comes with rice and about six small side dishes. Their Korean menu looks very interesting and will keep me coming back to try new dishes. You should check this place out.“
“Don't pass on this Japanese restaurant in Roseville! Located in a small shopping center, the restaurant wowed us with it's delicious food and generous portions! At first glance, the prices looked a bit high but when we got our food we we weren't even able to finish it all. The rolls are huge, the salads very generous in size, and the bento box was overflowing. Everything was fresh and tasted so good and the service was quick and friendly. We will definitely be coming back in the future!“
“Overall good experience in would recommend. Their phones for calling orders seem to only work half the time. Not sure exactly what's going on, maybe a temporary issue and will change with you in the future. A little on the pricier side but quality is good 9 out of 10 times. A few of the times we got rolls or rice plates that felt a little bit old, but we order here on a weekly basis so understandable to not be perfect all the time.“
“Fast service, nice experience for a date or with friends, adult friendly. I wouldn't recommend bringing kids, but teens are okay. The food is a bit pricey but makes it up with the freshness and great tasteVegetarian options: The menu lets you know what is included in the sushi and lets you know if it's Vegetarian approved.“
“We got there around 5:45 on a Saturday in the place was really busy. We had about a half hour wait for a table but it turned out to be worth it. The food was excellent and so was the service. The prices were quite reasonable. We will definitely be going back.“
“Menu and quality keep getting better.Music is inconsistent—sometimes too loud; sometimes seems designed for lovesick teen girls and out of touch with paying client base…Can be irritating and hard to talk with your dinner companions or even hear yourself think.“
“This is a fun place to always watch them prepare your food. The chefs are good and the weight staff is a tentative. It's not knock down delicious but very decent. It's a pretty expensive place. The tips are built in for large parties which is typically why they get are high. The floors could be cleaned a little bit better and the countertops since a lot of the prepared dishes are more greasy thus it's harder to keep the surfaces as clean.Vegetarian options: If you have a lot of restrictions you probably ought to restrict yourself and stay home and watch CNN. Otherwise you can have soup and rice here.Dietary restrictions: You can stay home and have rice cakes and tofu if you don't want to go out and have fried food prepared in front of you.Parking: Hobby lobby and other busy stores are in this lot so it's hard to park most of the time.“
“I like this place a lot. Quality food, good flavor, kind staff. It’s not a fancy restaurant but I really appreciate its existence. Prices reasonable. Some of the food can take a while but service is good. Haven’t had a bad meal in the ten years I have eaten here. The menu is pretty large. Take out is great, too.“
“As someone that lives in San Diego and has fresh fish all around me, this place was head and shoulders above any other place I’ve tried. First of all, the restaurant was supremely clean and smelled great! No fishiness detected. The people were all friendly and prompt. Service was fast. I had the salmon and albacore nigiri and they were amazing! Huge portions and tasted so good!! By and away the best sushi I’ve had anywhere. My friend had some of their rolls and those were equally good too. Their menu was very large and prices were decent too.I will be back here every time I find myself in Sacramento. The restaurant may look small andnondescript, but it is well worth the visit. You’ll be thanking yourself that you did.“
“They are really sweet here and quality food! They have a ton of options for dessert and some shopping for unique items. Each of us ordered something different and it was all equally good. Our favorite dessert was the chocolate frozen wafer ice cream. We will definitely be back. Thank you!!“
“The buffet is overall pretty clean. I've been here 2x so far and they always bring out fresh dishes that are gone which is nice. The servers are polite and actively picking up your plates your no longer using. Honestly, I don't have any complaints! I feel like the price is worth it for how many dishes you can choose from. We'll be back again i'm sure :) PS. Don't forget about the Mongolian BBQ that's hidden (we missed it our 1st time here), choose your own toppings, and let the Chef, Chef it up!“
“Downtown's Japanese culinary haven exceeded all expectations, leaving us with a heartwarming sense of being part of a food-loving family. From the moment we entered, the attentive staff enveloped us in genuine warmth, making each interaction feel like a reunion with old friends. The service was nothing short of phenomenal – every detail executed with care and enthusiasm. The culinary journey unfolded with impeccably fresh sashimi, a testament to the chef's commitment to quality. Each delicate slice melted in our mouths, showcasing a mastery of flavor. The stuffed mushroom appetizer was an absolute delight, an explosion of heavenly tastes that lingered on our palates, urging us to savor every bite. This Japanese gem not only offers excellent food but also creates an atmosphere where passion for culinary artistry and genuine hospitality collide. A must-visit for those seeking an unforgettable dining experience where every dish feels like a symphony of flavors and every guest is embraced like family.Vegetarian options: Stuffed Mushrooms were too die for!!“
“We ate at their Eureka location. Busy Friday night, waited 40 minutes for a table. When this place gets busy, it's loud. They could use additional soft materials or sound absorbing panels. Once we were seated (party of 7) service was good. Ordered a number of platters, sashimi appetizers, hamachi collars, and extra pickled wasabi. Fish is always fresh and presentation appetizing.“
“We found it to be a very quaint restaurant with a good atmosphere and a well and reasonably priced menu. There is a plenty fenestration due to corner location. Service was prompt. The only thing that caught me by surprise is that if you use a credit card, it's an additional 4% of your total fee. And that's after tax. The notice is located at the end of every table. I guess we're going to have to get used to that, thanks to someone making decisions for everybody else. Glad we had cash and I'm going to have to carry more apparently. I think it takes away from the employees receiving the preferred tip rather than what could be or can be afforded. I enjoyed the OMG sushi roll. It was really good. There are many sushi restaurants in that area like Mikuni's which is said to be the best. We have been there recently and it's just not. It is still one of the top sushi restaurants nearby.“
“Our go to sushi place and no one makes the stuffed jalapeños like they do. Can't get enough of Arigato's.Love the nigiri, sashimi, maki rolls and deep fried rolls. The baked salmon roll (lion?) is to die for, baked green mussels, best tasting miso around. If your feeling frisky get a sake bomb and my personal choice for beer is Asahi. Love the hot tea and spicy edamame too!If you prefer cooked foods they have all kinds of bento type dinners as well, anything in tempura you'll never be sorry.Been a huge fan and customer many years but this is my first review!Arigato's is affordable and the taste is high end. Expect to be deliciously happy!“
“This place is a staple of our Arden Carmichael dining scene. Food is amazing; the staff is very attentive, and the managements laser focus on attention to detail is refreshing. The atmosphere is always fun and filled with the best of our neighbors and community. My only disappointment is that I haven’t given them a shout out sooner. I had the Tango Roll tonight which was very filling for someone currently running on one meal per day. Thank you Silver Sake ?“
“Love this place, from the service to the food and always music on for an upbeat vibe I have not had a bad meal here. The sushi is always fresh and prepared perfectly, the soups and specials are on point and plates like the shortrib dinner do not disappoint at all.“
“Gina, the manager could not have been more professional and courteous. It was my first time here, so I asked for a recommendation I told her I did like seafood, and the seafood combination Ramen that I got was hands-down, the best I’ve had in California so far, I will continue to come here for the food, and for the great service that Gina and her staff Supply!“
“Some of the best hibachi I've had in ages. I just don't understand why they don't have white sauce / yum yum sauce / shrimp sauce / Sakura sauce, whatever you wanna call that sauce... I've never been to a hibachi place that didn't have it. Strange. Didn't even seem to know what I was talking about. Eager to please and gave me more of the sauce the hibachi was cooked in instead, lol. Hate to take a star off for that, though, but just have to, cause it would be prefect with it, and wasn't without. However, otherwise, absolutely recommend, totally wonderful, good food, great service, good vibes. Just byo yum yum sauce, I guess...“
