“There are dozens of places to enjoy a gourmet dinner in the Coachella Valley, and over the course of this past fall, winter and spring season (our second in Palm Springs), my wife and I have had a steady stream of visitors and have looked around considerably for nice places to take them. We recently had dinner at Daniel's Table, our first time there, and I felt compelled to write a review. It is inconspicuously located and without much bravado in its signage, but once through the doors, the welcome is authentic as is the sense that you are in a place where excellent food and service are the star of the show. I could rant metaphorically about how good the food was, but let a blanket assessment of absolutely first-rate suffice. Braised ribs, a daringly rare salmon, lamb shank and a spectacular Caesar were our table's orders, along with flourless chocolate and house-made rose ice cream. So good. It has the stamp of the restaurateur on every dish--lush and savory while still artful and refined; l'artiste himself, Daniel, engaged us all in a boisterous chat after the dinner. It was the sort of dining experience that is just very, very much to my liking. I feel comfortable that I speak for all four of us in this warm review. With all the routing around my wife and I have done in the desert's gourmet restaurants, it's a little surprising we've only just found Daniel's. See you in the fall, sir! “This place is THE hidden gem of desert hot springs. Best mole I’ve ever had, and I’ve been to Oaxaca. The food has vibrant flavors and is truly authentic. Their cocktail flavor combinations are like nothing I’ve experienced. They have a drink with a stick of burned cinnamon, chipotle blend, mezcal, and ginger simple syrup, all homemade and hand crafted, menu created by the owner.“

“Four of us went there on a drizzly night at the very end of March. We sat outside in the patio at the back under some umbrellas by a tiny fountain which seems to be the nicest area of the restaurant. The food and drinks were quite good and worth returning for. My only quibble with the evening was the rigid two hour seating limit for the early tables. I was refused a cappuccino as we were told I would not have enough time to drink it. A quick look around revealed nearly half the tables empty and no one lined up at the hostess station waiting. I assume there was a warning on the web site of the two hour limit but I did not see it and after our table spent a fair bit of money for dinner a little bit of discretion was probably warranted by the waitress.Regardless, I will probably return and just chew faster“

“Been passing this place for years and finally had an opportunity to check it out. This spot is adorable! Located in an old Greyhound Bus Depot. Option to sit inside or outside, we chose the small counter bar. Wonderful service, reasonably priced. The burgers were juicy, fresh, like homemade . Also ordered the Coleslaw…, SO GOOD! Fries also a great choice. We grabbed a couple of fresh squeezed lemonade and it was perfect. Nothing fancy. This is a total Mom and Pop place and we’re coming back.“

Everything was pretty much perfect. Starting off with good, rich coffee and fast excellent service. The assortment of breakfast bread choices was awesome and definitely made in house. The homemade biscuits are some of the best I've had (Mammaw, yours are better). They even have homemade "pop tarts". Eggs cooked perfectly every time and the avocado, tomato and mushroom omelette with Brie is a vegetarian dream. Hubbie is a meat eater and said the bacon was some of the best he's had. Heading back to try lunch as it was that good.“

It's open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and, as often as I have gone there over the years, I was never disappointed. There is an ample choice of great breakfast dishes, Cuban, Mexican, and American. The staff is very friendly and attentive.Breakfast and lunch used to be served in a nearby location, which is now closed due to lease expiration.“
