“What a cool joint!! We’re from East Texas and I never thought we’d run across a place like Huckleberry’s in the middle of California! It was like being down at the bayou in Louisiana! Perfect place to hit a brunch. Waitstaff and cooks rocked it! If you’re passing through Oakdale you gotta eat here. Top it off, Tombstone was playing on the hotel TV that night, iykyk.”

“I tried the Dying Breed MADE IN THE IPA for the 1st time in Strawberry Ca off of Hwy 108 when i purchased it at the Strawberry General Store last year and i haven’t stopped drinking it. Great IPA 👍👍👍”

“Well. What can I say but have a rave about the exceptional service and food we had there today. They went above and beyond to get us what we wanted. We came in for the first time today not knowing what to expect and I was craving a filet mignon for my anniversary lunch, and although they don’t usually have it for lunch, they made it for us special for our anniversary and it was excellent! The service was superb, the food delish, and omg the butter cake dessert was melt in the mouth take me away to heaven good. We were so impressed we have decided any other celebrations will take place there and we will share the goodness to everyone we know plus some.”

“Stevie’s pizza is legit the best pizza I have ever had in my life and i am 100 percent a fat boy born and raised for 36 years on pizza plus pizza in riverbank through 2 of the 2 owners lol I will never want any other pizza now I will drive 30 plus min From Modesto past 6 plus other pizza places to go to Stevie’s my experience was amazing from ordering to leaving the owner Stevie himself was there and had a conversation with us and made us feel like family you are 100% missing out if you don’t eat here like legit you are stupid to not stop my only issue is there wasn’t enough I wish we would have ordered 5 pizzas I legit didn’t want to stop eating can not say it enough I am 100 percent converted will not go anywhere else unless I absolutely have to yet again hate to be repetitive but it’s legit the best pizza I’ve had stopped in tonight 9-1-24 and will forever be a customer till the day I die or he stops serving pizza whatever come first”

“I love all the servers and bartenders here! Everyone is real, sweet, and quite accommodating. Plenty of regulars! I've always felt at home, welcomed, and enjoyed the delicious food. My favorite is definitely the breakfasts. But you really can't beat their prime rib deal”

“This is my first time eating here at Gillman's. I ordered a double fat boy w/cheese, (no relish, no onions) with a side of garlic fries and a pineapple shake. The attitude and friendliness of the staff, show you their appreciation for your business. The down to earth, chill atmosphere is a nice place to sit down and enjoy a meal. The food. . .let me tell you about the food music I could taste. From the fresh grilled london broil beef patties to the lightly sweet cool crunch of the lettuce and tomato. Garlic fries had just the right amount of diced garlic and melted cheese to not overpower any other item that it is ordered with. Everything was perfectly cooked to order with an intent to satisfy the most famished of customers. Truly great food with reasonable prices! Go and try for yourself when you're in Oakdale!”

“Amazing customer service and food. The wings and pizza were made fresh and very flavorful. They are not cheap in toppings either. We explained we were traveling and got our order to go and the lady working gave us plates and extra napkins which were greatly appreciated. Would recommend 10/10.”

“I first discovered this business when I moved to oakdale in april 2024. From the start the owners were attentive, friendly, and quick to deliver when ordering. They just started working with doordash for the best convenience and best coffee. They roast their own coffee beans in-house daily and have varieties like Rwanda, Ethiopian,m Burboun barel aged offee”

“Okay, we were driving by Oakdale, and see a 4.6 star joint with over 400 reviews. It must be legit. We had to stop by. Initially we weren't too excited that it was Latin food, not because we don't like it but after a long drive none of us were in the mood for taking risks.

Other than the guac not being absolutely fresh (still fresh though), the food turned out to be awesome, given the location and price point. The fish taco with battered cod was perhaps one of the best I've had. It almost came out like a Mexican salad with plenty of onions, lettuce on a bed of rice. But lifted with tortillas, it was again fascinating. The steak was juicy but you shouldn't expect steakhouse steak here. And the pasta was also solid for the kids.

Also, the gentleman who served us was super friendly. We initally felt like we were being stood up but once he found us, everything was wonderful.

Oakdale is a city/town you drive by a lot on your way to Yosemite. And when doing so, I highly recommend stopping by at Cafe Bravo. You'd be pleasantly surprised at the caliber of Latin comfort food they serve.”

“We were wanting to try China House and it was closed. Man am I glad they weren’t open today. I am new to the area, and didn’t know Bamboo Garden existed until I googled other restaurants in the area. The food was 10/10 and the portions were stacked. The best part about the experience was the employee at the front desk Tommy. He was absolutely hilarious and had great customer service. I am grieving the loss of a loved one and I really needed a good laugh tonight so thank you Tommy. This will definitely be my go to place.”

“When the weather turns cooler we love to get pizza from here. The fact that the round breadsticks are back makes me and my family so happy. The last 2 times we’ve got pizza and the breadsticks they looked perfect and cooked up great.

Kid-friendliness: My kids are obsessed with the round breadsticks. When they were brought back my youngest instantly texted her bestie to let her know because she too was sad they were gone.”

Great food (wonton soup hit the spot), and dishes were delicious, especially the use of fresh veggies. Interesting take on Kung Pao Chicken, but I really enjoyed the veggies in their dish.

Great service; so kind of them to stay open despite our late arrival.

Far better than any fast food options on the route home. Would definitely recommend this as a stop on the way back from Yosemite.”

“I highly recommend Most Wanted Wine! We held a gathering of about 50 people there and the staff was amazing through the whole planning process. They were working so hard on the night of, and still so happy to be there and such great service for our group. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous during the day and at night. The food was delicious, meatballs, pizza, salad, and pasta salad. If I lived in the area this would be my regular spot for sure.”

I was just passing through town on a long drive and randomly stopped in for a quick bite, only to be served up the best Buritto I've ever had. It slapped.

“A couple of years ago, I found out I was lactose intolerant, which sucks because I love literally all dairy. But they have this silk chocolate almondmilk ice cream, which I think tastes better than regular chocolate!! great service, awesome staff, and good vibes!!!!
