“You can easily miss this truck tucked away on the corner of a parking lot. They are busy non stop on a Saturday night. They are quick to get you your food though.

The Al Pastor had great flavor with a slight sweetness of pineapple. Pairs well with their salsa, which is neither red or green, but it was delicious. The Asada was good too, with good taste and texture. The Lengua was very tender and went well with the salsa too.

I will def be back to try the other Cortes and horchata. My only suggestions is they should use order numbers or get a name to the order. They read out whole order for pickup and it gets confusing. Would save them and customers time.“

If you are into original non glamorous places with fantastic food, THIS WILL BE UP YOUR ALLEY! This is a family own restaurant with a full service bar adjacent room. The micheladas are insane! They have cool variety of imported beer and local to choose. The birria go some and the tiny been tacos will blow your mind.
Just watch out for the life mariachi bands if you don’t like loud music.“

“Picked up a burrito here for lunch today, what a great find! The shop was sparkling clean and the aroma of the fresh food was enticing.
I ordered a Pollo Asado burrito and it was about as big as my 14 lb. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. There was so much chicken! Well seasoned rice and pinto beans that were firm but perfectly cooked. The guacamole was fresh and plentiful.
The burrito was so big I'll be having it for dinner tonight or maybe lunch tomorrow.
The value was fantastic for the quality and quantity.“

I also noticed that the masa used had a pleasantly light, moist quality to it—it wasn’t dense and dry. I’ve never had harira before but it went down like grandma made it, tagine... who knew turnips and prunes would delight my taste buds so much, what was that bread?? It was perfect for sopping up the soup and also the tagine juice. Lamb was tender and flavorful. I had a few sips of the tea and decided to save it for tomorrow’s afternoon beverage because it’s a Saturday picnic kind of beverage. I took a nibble of the honey cookie and again, saving for tomorrow’s picnic. I didn’t want to eat it on a full stomach so I could truly, fully enjoy every morsel. “Went on a rainy Saturday and there was several spaces of parking in the lot adjacent to restaurant. Upon entering, the interior and layout feels a bit hodgepodge with the cashier in the center of the restaurant. The lady who took my order was friendly and verified my order along with the total price before I paid. I ordered Menudo and Lengua Burrito. The Menudo had the option of containing pata/feet. The broth was absolutely perfect and very typical of Tijuana style Menudo. It did not come with hominy sadly, and I suppose with the highest price I've ever paid for a bowl, I might have reconsidered my order. The tripe in the Menudo was just slightly more soft than I prefer but objectively, this was the bowl of flavorful Menudo that my cravings desired. The Lengua (beef tongue) burrito was huge! That said there was more rice than beans in the burrito and I wouldn't be mad if it had more beans instead. The lengua was cooked perfectly and was seasoned well. I can't believe I'm saying this but in a tongue burrito, I think less cheese works the best. Corn tortillas included in my order and salsas were delicious. Overall, I enjoyed the food. I'd come back to try another item for sure.“
