“My husband and I had the oxtail pho and oxtail fried rice with grilled ribeye on the side and everything was amazingly very tasty. Definitely coming back to try more on the menu. Service was excellent and staff were very helpful and friendly. Parking isn't a problem. This place definitely is keeper.“
“We got the popular food menu items: garlic noodles and the beef stir fry. I really don’t understand the hype at all. The meat was extremely dry and chewy while the garlic noodles didn’t have much flavor. The grilled shrimp is basically in the name itself, there’s not much flavor besides that. Was very disappointing. Although the appetizers saved the day. The wontons and chicken wings were absolutely phenomenal, an explosion of flavors. Did the popular food items deserve the price tag? No, but I’d rather have the appetizers be the entrees.“
“Came with friend, a peruana, and we both enjoyed the food. We ordered (for share) papa huancaina, sopa de gallina, arroz con leche and chicha morada for me. All delicious, excellent and attentive service with reasonable price. Will come again and try other items!“
“Ive only tried lomo saltado at few other popular restaurants.A Friend suggested I try this place. My lomo saltado had soy sauce twist to it, meat was really tender but I think I prefer the regular Lomo Saltado without the soy sauce soaking all my rice as it was bit salty for my taste.I would definitely return to try other dishes.Oh I remember Id normally received those green sauces at other places, I will ask next time.“
“Went to lunch yesterday and had the most amazing meal (I just got back fromNapa and Sonoma and this place was better than all the meals has there!) What makes Costa a goto destination is the service. Hector went above and beyond to make our lunch memorable. When we ask for a taste of a red wine, he gave us the others to compare without asking. The Lomo Salto was juicy with crispy onions and vibrant with cherry tomatoes with a lovely Unami based sauce. The pappas came out pipping hot.. crispy on the outside with a savory beef inside. We didn't have cocktails but Hector gave us a taste of the watermelon cocktail which was a perfect balance of sweet and sour with fresh squeeze juice. This will be our goto restaurant in the future.“
“From the entrance, we can feel happy, since the Latin music surrounds you with joy. The service is 1A, (since I ordered a dish and it was not what I expected, they immediately changed it to the one I thought it was and it was not on the menu, it was a jelly made of only fish and really super delicious, I recommend this restaurant 100%, the price, the taste and the kindness of the girls and the man who serve you are 100% 1A excellent. Thank you very much ☺️ for everything. And congratulations for such excellent service. We loved the food and of course we will return .⭐️“
“I ordered the brisket pho on a Friday, and to go, they gave me a water and the pho was done in 5 minutes flat. It saved me a lot of time waiting as I likely would have had to do at other pho places but at SUP noodle bar the service was very fast. Pho was also delicious ?“
“This is a perfect example of casual, but delicious Peruvian food! I had the pollo a la brasa and my wife had the lomo saltado. We loved both of our dishes! Everything was cooked perfectly. The chicken was tender and flavorful. The green sauce was just the right amount of spicy and herbaceous.Since there aren't a ton of Peruvian places in SoCal, I would say Senor Pollo is definitely worth a small trip to check out. When I'm craving pollo a la brasa this is going to be my spot, even though it's about an hour drive. It's worth it for me.“
“They did not have Peruvian Options which were seen online on their menu. There wasn't any Leche de Tigre or any Ceviches. Do not trust the Menu. Call ahead. Edit: the food is really good coming from a Latino with vast taste in Latino culture food. The flavors are strong but not overwhelming. The empanadas are pretty good. They have chicken and meat and even shrimp. The lomo saltado is pretty good. It doesn't have the smoked flavor but it is still pretty well made. Their niche is the comercial area of civic center in Santa Ana so don't come here expecting rich flavors. Expect pretty good prices and good food.“
“We love this place, both for takeout and dining in. Many variations on lomo saltado, and every one I've tried has been delicious. Be careful with the bread with the green sauce- the burn kicks in after a few minutes and it can be persistent. Overall, good food and good service, we'll be there any time we're craving Peruvian food.“
“The food was ok. The disappointment started with the Chicha morada drink. I was told that it was home made but unfortunately mine was water down. The service was definitely great the young ladies working were very attentive and always with a smile.“
“We've been coming here since it was Mario's Peruvian. The food remains the same- great! Their Lomo Saltado is always made with freshly cut potatoes, setting it apart from other places that skip corners by using frozen fries. Go for the lunch specials, and you won't be disappointed!“
“Quality of service: the boy who served us was very attentivePleasant atmosphereThe food: excellent, I was surprised by the anticuchos, delicious, delicious, juicy and soft, and the grilled chicken, excellent and ready.I would give them more than 5 stars. I recommend them 100%The best of Santa AnaWe will return without a doubt“
“I have to say when it comes to money, this is your biggest meal when it comes to Pho that I have seen. I love pho and have tried dozens of places here in Orange, all which are great but this is the only place i go where I have to take a to go bag home. So delicious! The rib bowl is my go to.“
