“My friend and I stopped in for the first time as we were walking home from an event last weekend. It's surprisingly very big inside. It's a beautiful little joint. The people were very nice as well, giving us some history of the place.“

On my most recent visit I ordered a La Louisiana which in addition to whiskey and vermouth also requires Benedictine and Absinthe, which most local bars here don’t carry.“

“The best place to get the absolute last call in the whole city of Ventura CA. Dude I've been going to the Sewer since my 21st birthday. R. I. P. Jim W has bought me over ten birthday drinks and even smoked a few cigars way back in the day when the sewer sold stogies and cigs. A special thanks to the associates who are friends for decades Mike and Cashes who tha Bomb at the bartender bis and business is awesome.

“Super cool little place that we have been wanting to check out! I tried the sidecar specialty cocktail they had on their menu and I loved it! My hubby ordered an old fashion and he loved it! We got a few of the hand rolls to try. My fave was the spicy tuna hand roll but they were all tasty. We ordered the wings too. They were spicy but yummy. This place is great for drinks and a couple of finger foods imo. I didn’t have the urge to try their main entrees not sure why. Might come back and I’ll update.“

“Latitude 34 is our favorite restaurant (not just in Camarillo). The food is fantastic (lobster bisque, filet mignon, halibut, salmon, ribeye, scallops, sesame ahi, Seabass, Brie chicken, filet mignon bites, chocolate cheesecake are some of our favorites). The servers and the rest of the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive.“

All of the bartenders are amazing, the owners and staff are friendly and fun, and they work hard to make this an all inclusive, comfortable spot for a quick drink after work or really get your party on with live music on the weekends. They have taco and trivia on Tuesdays, game nights on Wednesday, Tiki drink Thursdays and Monday is potluck and karaoke. There's always something happening at The Garage Bar!“

“I thought the Clam Chowder and the Calamari and the cocktail were really good, I do have a beef with how expensive the tacos are for only two tacos. They're good but not that good. It's more like $20-30 per person. Ambience is great though. That sun feels so good. Plenty of places to sit outside.“

“What a great little find this was. Exquisite food at a reasonable price. Good varied menu with fresh local ingredients. I had the fresh tuna tartare with chips and a gem lettuce, pear, blue cheese and walnut salad. Good portion sizes too. One of the best meals I’ve had in Ventura these last six months.“

“man where do I even begin? the minute me and my girlfriend walk in we got greeted and seated, that’s how a food place should be. felt welcomed not that skin color matters but I’ve been to some places and I get stares because of my skin color or appearance, let alone they treated me equally and that meant a lot, the server was an excellent person they treated me and my partner with kindness and patience, the food was on point exceeded my expectations, and let’s not forget the plate boy after he cleaned up after the second we finished, I definitely recommend if you want a good date or a nice lunch. “When making reservations, be informed that if you decide to eat inside it is in the upstairs bar area. The music is loud and more for the younger patrons. That aside, the food was great!! Completely made up for the loud atmosphere. Next time it will be on the patio or wait downstairs for a table.“

“Coming from San Diego, we had huge expectations. The food is reasonable but they don't have salsa bar. It's good if you are in the area.

Self serve: order at a window, wait for your number to be called, pick up food, beg for mini salsa cups and you get 2 at a time no matter how much you ask. We ordered 4 entrees and got 2 salsa. We asked for more and got 2 again. Their default tip for self serve and repeated requests for salsa is 15%. What are we tipping for?
