“I have been a face painter at Mr. Bones pumpkin patch throughout the month of October, and almost every day I’ve been there, I got lunch from the Maravilla truck. They are incredible!! Everything I tried was delicious, and the seasoned fries were a personal favorite. They are all so friendly too. Face painting at the patch is definitely a high pressure job, especially when it’s busy, and Maravilla really helped to keep my spirits (and energy) up the whole time! “Great handmade tortillas tacos for $2.00 each. They are well served and can't beat the price. Quesadilla made with home made corn tortillas are delicious for only $11.00/$12.00. Agua Frescas for $6.00 Friendly service. It's surrounded by other food vendors on the sidewalk right in front of Target.“
“Tried them once while I was working at the Universal Studio backlot, not sure if they contracted exclusively with NBC, but I have not seen them since, food was great, portion was pretty decent, get you full and give you enough energy to work thru out the long day on set.“
“4+ Considered one of the best by many or at least one of the most popular taco spots in Los Angeles. They have a good variety of items and meats, but I would say they are most known for their al pastor (marinated, spit-roasted pork that is usually served with a slice/ chunk of pineapple). The service here is pretty efficient since they have to be - there's almost always a line. The vibe: depending on the time of day or night you come, it's usually a mixed group of people wanting to try this spot, people eating after a drinking session, or just people looking for decently priced tacos. One of the times I was here, I was standing behind Dante Basco (Rufio!), haha. Usually a fun vibe for sure. My usual here is two tacos (typically the al pastor) and a mulita. It used to be that there was a toppings and salsa bar where you would dress up your food. Not sure if it's because of the pandemic or people taking advantage and taking too much stuff home, you now have to go to a separate window to ask for the toppings and salsa and they're individually packaged. I definitely think this place is worth going for the al pastor. I myself have been here multiple times. Parking can be tough, but if you are going during the week there's usually parking along the street facing south on LA Brea right around the corner. Just be careful though as it is a relatively high traffic area and some people seem to drive recklessly in this area.“
