“It’s a worthy dive bar with a frigging delicious hamburger. We went for the atmosphere having walked by on our vacation to Manhattan Beach and had to go back. If you love an authentic old bar and are happy with a great cheeseburger and chips and can overlook a sticky table and a bit scary bathroom situation, this is your spot. A breath of fresh air from our usual bougie eating in South Bay. Did I mention the burger was delicious??“

“I love the red onion If you don't get there as messials you just get like typical California Mexican food for white people but if you get the especials it's pretty good they local vibe of gray haired Hill people as I say is pretty epic You can run into your friends and chat“

“My daughters (4-7) were spellbound by the “inside / outside at the same time” space. And I absolutely loved the plant filled atmosphere. Food was above average too! The one hiccup was that we ordered a flavoured coffee flight & they were all iced! Wife said she knew, but I didn’t catch that they weren’t hot coffee. So people really like cold coffee?? (Wife loved them. I know I’m the weird one.)“

“I got there just before the dinner rush. The outside tables were filling up, and the bar was full. Great Service. The most amazing food. They gave complimentary homemade flour tortillas, butter, red salsa, and green avocado salsa. Wow best tortillas I ever had. Then finish off with the three most flavorful De Filet Mignon Tacos that just melted in my mouth. The meat is very tender, and the flavors are like a bite of heaven with every bite. JD the GM runs the place very well.“

“Our church, Triedstone MBC, just hosted a luncheon for our leadership team. It was catered by Darrow’s New Orleans Grill. We were very pleased with our experience. The food was delicious. And the service was great! They arrived early. And the food was hot. The owner, Norwood, presented the food with a very appetizing description of each entree. Everyone loved it! Additionally, the portions were very generous. And everyone went back for seconds. At Triedstone, we do everything with excellence. And Darrow’s definitely met the challenge. “The food here is really great, and they have a good selection of Wine, Beer, and Cider. The burgers are really good and a nice variety. I love getting the chips instead of the fries, trust me on this they are sooo good. The patio is so nice because you can sit outside and enjoy yourselves, and there's lots of space so it's a great place for groups. Parking is also easy in Downtown El Segundo, and the service here has always been top notch and very friendly,in true El Segundo fashion!“

“Such a great experience. I performed here with my band, Negrazul Ska. The staff (bartenders and security) were really kind and supportive. The sound was amazing, they cleaned the microphones and made sure the sound was always spot on. The bartender were attentive and provided free water for everyone. The atmosphere was aweseome, I would definitely come again!“

“Always consistently good food. Had the salmon and salad with brussel sprouts, and my friend had the grilled chicken sandwich. Seasoning was robust, but not too salty. Waitress was friendly, introduced herself, and had no problem with request for two checks for the table.“

“Always love it here , food, servers, atmosphere, only complaint is they took the Brussels sprouts off the menu. We were very surprised and not understanding why. They didn't even replace them with another vegetable. Every restaurant has Brussels sprouts and I hope they will put them back on“

“Being a former sailor, I just had to stop by Shellback Tavern to see what it was all about. I felt like shore patrol would stop by and drag me out, which is a good thing! This is a wonderful little spot with a local vibe. Everyone is so warm, laid back and friendly. I tried their mango cart beer which is definitely a must try if you visit. The fish and chips were incredible and very generous portions along with very fresh fries. The chef even comes out to check to make sure you’re happy with your order. If you’re ever in Manhattan Beach and have never visited this restaurant, you’re missing out.“

“This place is a gem, I am so glad to have finally tried their food. There are lots of scrumptious options to choose from and right when I think I've made up my mind on what to get I spot the daily specials board. Mind you I did get in late for dinner so they were mostly sold out of their specials but I did not leave disappointed. The staff is friendly and very attentive, they make you feel like family. The chili is DELICIOUS! I loved it, I even took a pint of it home. Their poke is good, it was marinated with sesame oil and green onions. I also ordered a bento box and the somen salad and brocolli medley were the best parts. Overall a solid place to have a satisfying meal.“

“This is a popular place near the beach, I strongly recommend calling ahead to see if there is a wait. The staff are super friendly, they appear to genuinely be happy to be there. They had a decent variety in selection and I think they could have been a little more generous in portions.I had the lobster Mac and cheese . It was creamy, covered with crunchy bread crumbs. That was a decent serving. I had a poke bowl that was full of different flavors, that could have been bigger.Just a heads up, this is not a quiet place. It was a Saturday night when we were here, but it was loud.Overall not a bad place, would come back.“

“The servers were well informed of the menu and cocktails. Atmosphere was extremely friendly and inviting. My table was reserved with my name when I arrived. The menu has a wide variety of wonderful dishes for every palate. My porterhouse was grilled to perfection and I was impressed with the wide variety of whiskey. “Maybe Valentine's Day dinner is not the best time to write a review but... Food: Main courses were 50/50 - mussels were fresh and yummy; the coq au vin chicken was dry and a tad over cooked but the vin sauce was tasty. The deviled eggs appetizer was disappointing as it tasted like it was made the day before. Service was solid and attentive. The interior needs some sound dampening as the main dining area is way too loud. You have to almost yell to carry on a conversation because everyone is doing the same.“

“What a wonderful experience. First time at this establishment and I appreciate it very much. We had a nice lunch and enjoyed the history it has to share. It's the perfect spot for families, children, and fans of aviation and history. Ordering was simple. You can use a self order monitor at the front or you can order at the desired food location. You'll get a text when food is ready. They have a variety of food, refreshments, and a bar. Food prices were appropriate as well as portions. Indoor seating gives you the opportunity to enjoy the planes and ambiance of the restaurant. It's was a sunny day so we enjoyed the seating area outdoors located on the patio. There's a playground for your children to enjoy, incoming flights landing at LAX (across the street) that fly directly over head! What a treat for children and those who love planes. “This place has lots of good memories for me. If you love beer be sure to check this place out. They always have a huge selection of beers that they rotate. With so many beers, it's super fun being able to pick a new beer with each round . Not a lot of places with this much selection. They are nice enough to give you a few samples if you can't commit, or pitchers if you can. Def a dive bar. Lots of regulars and locals. Weekends can get packed, especially in the summer. They also have live music on weekends. Food is bar food but tasty. My friend is obsessed with their wings.“

“This is one of oldest bars in the South Bay and it is a true dive, with lots of character. The walls are covered in old photos and memorabilia, and the vibe is fantastic. Our bartender had heavy pourer, so you're sure to get your money's worth. She recommended some nice drinks and shots. If you're looking for a laid-back place to have a drink and relax, this is a place to check out.“

“This is such a kicked back bar. I have been going to hesr the Blues band " Ledbetter Blues" I heard th bass player singer Is the Grandson of "LeadBelly" . I had to see n listen for myself, yes this band is hot. Will be going to see them at Harold's in May 18,2024. And have a great time as usual.“

“Went on a Saturday night for the first time. There was a DJ that had the music and dance floor on point. One pool table but everyone seemed good in coordinating next games. Friendly atmosphere. TV’s around that showed videos of the music being played. Drinks are on point-try the Blueberry Muffin.Parking: There’s a parking lot adjacent to the bar.“

“Came in to catch a late game. Great place, cool vibe. The music is a lottle overpowering where it's hard to hear your party. The food was really good.. one real highlight is the salsa that comes with all meals. It is spicy, and I feel that it is lacking in most places that try and tone their salsa down.“

I picked a guy up today from here and I seen guys talking or drinking at the door and I found out they were once army dudes that were deployed to war that made it back home. “I'm reluctant to write this review because I don't want anyone else to know about how cool Muso Style is. If you're Japanese, you'll love this place because it tries to replicate the smaller bars in Japan with it's food selection, cocktails, service, and ambience. It's great for small groups of up to 4 or dates, where you want as few people around you as possible, but also right next to you. I don't think they can fit more than 20 people in there and if they did, it would be too crowded. So keep this a secret!“

“It’s such a lovely dump LOL! Love going there on Wednesdays for the rib eye steak. I hope they don’t ever remodel or change a thing in there including the ripped up mish mash chairs, wobble tables… it’s our favorite happy little place. We donated some ping pong rackets because theirs were sooo bad but they probably don’t even notice it. Dive bars for the chill low maintenance people. : ) Xo“

“I was craving an authentic Japanese Highball like the ones I've tried in Japan and this place did not disappoint. Their Gin and Tonic and Moscow Mule are tasty as well. The bar tenders are very polite and you receive the same level of service サービス ‍ you get in Japan. Keep in mind there is a $10 cover charge plus $5/hr charge.I went inside with a T-shirt and felt underdressed, so dress business casual or better. “Just want to acknowledge the excellent waiter who informed his diners of group of men filming from sidewalk and not getting the diners all paranoid and upset. Excellent way to deal with the customers AND the gentlemen filming in public. Even though it may uncomfortable to be filmed, it is legal and they moved on pretty quick due to no negative reaction. Management should acknowledge that waiter and others should go and dine here as they are truly professional!“

“This was the first place I came once I hit my grand 21. I absolutely love it. Diana is a sweetheart, she treats you like family, I've been coming here almost a year now. I'm on a first name basis with most of the bartenders, they're all great, I absolutely feel welcomed and valued here. I try to come here at least once a month, I love the ambiance here. The patrons here are always friendly and welcoming ❤ They're the best of the best here. 10/10 recommend. They're very hospitable here, they'll never let your cup go empty, the servers are on the ball here. If you want to have a great night and make good memories, come to Froggy's Bar and Grill.“

“Love this place but today I had the wings and was very upset.Wings were barely warm tasted like they were not fresh. Buffalo sauce was almost tasteless. Like I said I love this places food but the wings were not on par with all the other food I have gotten there.“
