“Love beach hut deli penryn. Great staff, fantastic manager, awesome food!!! Very relaxing environment and love the laughter of the staff.Vegetarian options: Lajolla is awesome!!”
“Great chicken! Have been twice now and I haven't had a bad experience. The chicken tenders and honey biscuits are . Tried the short rib burger as well, and the picture does not do it justice. Everything was great”
“Highly recommended. Lady at counter was very hygienic (changed gloves for every customer by default) and sensitive to allergies of people. They are also super careful handling food especially for strict vegetarian vegan folks. Plus cheapest place near Sacramento.”
“First time ever stopping into this place got the chicken wrap. Not too many poultry options and seating is pretty limited inside BUT its definitely worth checking out if you aren't on a meat restriction style ”
“Amazing food and experience! Hopefully they are able to get a liquor license for Tequila or Mezcal, but still the cucumber gimlet is perfect. The staff is very polite, explained the mains, explained the history of the restaurant and the inspiration. Thank you for an amazing time! We'll be back!”
“Great Food amd Ice cream! Lil wait not too bad! Food is fresh and Tasty!! Ice cream sweet creamy amd cold couldn't ask for more!!Vegetarian options: They had a few options.”
“This was only the second time I’ve been here I had the tri-tip tacos the first time, and they were the best in all of Northern CA. This time I came in during their lunch rush I literally only waited in line about 60 seconds, and then another 90 seconds for my burrito. Such a low price for so much food and it was delicious, a must if you’re in the area.”
“My third or fourth visit to Hawks. I've never been disappointed, and tonight was a memorable experience. Party of four for early dinner. The mushroom soup amuse bouche was wonderful. White Fog Farm lettuce salad was (reportedly) excellent. The Caesar salad was tasty but the creamy dressing revealed it as an imitation Caesar (in my opinion); the saving grace was the white anchovy on top. (I am a Caesar salad purist and I am frequently unimpressed; woe is me.). Entrées: Duck--excellent! Short ribs--excellent! Steelhead--excellent! Lamb loin--excellent and more! Wine: Fair--a Tuscan red, good but overpriced for the quality. Dessert: We have had the "beignets" before--these are tasty enough but they are NOT in any sense beignets--just sugary doughnut holes with caramel sauce on the side. What they called an entremet might, in a pinch, be considered a "deconstructed" entremet--but an entremet it was not. The parts were, however, very good, if little more than a small mound of fond chocolate with cocoa nibs and a bit of white filling. We were very pleased with the unexpected serving of two extra dessert items, quartets of little chocolate dollops on shortbread and Sangria-infused gel cubes--very playful and delightful. Decent late-bottled vintage port and good tea and coffee. The service was spot on--absolutely top-notch. We were VERY pleased with service and atmosphere. Despite the scattered culinary contradictions, I say : Go to Hawks--time well spent.”
“Came here on a Sunday afternoon. The service was super friendly. The space is open and comfortable with lots of seating inside and outside. The food was delicious. We got the hummus and one of their rotating specials. We would definitely come back. There were so many drink options to choose from including beers, ciders, seltzer, kombucha and non alcoholic sodas.”
“We had not been here in awhile so we decided to try Chicha again and what a great surprise!! The food was delicious and had the taste my wife was looking for and she being Peruvian knows very well the meaning of that. If you love Peruvian food I highly recommend you head over here and check it out. The owners and staff made sure the experience was a fantastic one. They are opening a second Chicha in Midtown at the end of March. Excellent Restaurant.”
“Prosciutto and Margherita pizzas were both excellent. The Focaccia bread with the oil and balsamic was perfect. Took a really long time to pay for my to go order but the food was worth the wait.”
“Food was okay. I've eaten here a few times and the prices have gone up a lot! Our bill was $50 (with tip) for two meals and two soda drinks. We ordered a stack of pancakes and a French dip! Will not be eating here again just because of the steep prices for what we ordered.”
“We've been to GG multiple times over the years (Bay Area locations too), but the food and service are always consistent no matter where you eat. This visit was for my wife's birthday because that's where she wanted to go. I asked ahead of time about particular seating and location, which they were happy to honor. When we arrived they were busy but our table was ready and we were seated promptly. They also topped off the night by allowing my wife to pick a dessert on the house, which was awesome! We've never been there to celebrate a birthday per se but now we know thats a wonderful experience as well!”
“Loved this place. We were surprised by the lentil soup and baklava that came with the meal. Such a nice touch and both were delicious. My favorite baklava I've ever had! Not too sticky and sweet, it was flaky and nutty. I would go for just that. Our entrees were delicious but honestly the flavorful rice was one of my favorite parts! Some of the best rice I've ever had. The service was good and they were all so kind. The inside is basic, but it doesn't matter because the food is good!”
“Best pizza place I’ve ever been. As soon as I walked in, I was treated as valuable and important costumer. Atmosphere was bright and felt like home. Food is delicious and ”
“Only giving one star on atmosphere because it was the most ridiculously hot, uncomfortable, miserable dining experience we have ever had. Not sure if no AC is their thing or what, but they clearly had power when we dined there. We couldn’t enjoy our meal due to how suffocatingly hot the dining room was. That aside, the food was absolutely wonderful. But we are hesitant to return since our dining experience was truly the most uncomfortable one either of us has ever experienced. We just wanted to eat and leave as quickly as possible. But maybe that’s the point?Parking: You may have to walk a bit. Parking lot is plentiful, but close-up parking isn’t typical.”
“I love the horchata boba here!! I dont like most boba places because of the black tea bitter taste they usually have. But this one doesn't have that aftertaste it is just right!Vegetarian options: Some of the jellies contain geletin. You just have to ask which ones are kosher.”
“This is the best pizza! I swear you will not be disappointed. I live 30 minutes away and I still make it here once a month. Also, definitely order a salad. They change seasonally and are always flavor combos I wouldn't have thought of but work so well. I wish they'd put in a location near me so I could go once a week.”
“LOVE their sandwhiches. My husband gets the rat trap sandwhich with extra of their sauce, and I get the turkey on french with mix cheeses.I don't know how long they've been doing soup, but we got the brocolli and cheese, that too was really good. Not to mention they have a big assortment of cheeses and meats for sale.”
“It's good food, affordable and very local. The customer service is very good and they are not at all like a big company just get you in and out, they try to be nice and they are very friendly.”
“Ordered the Naan Tacos, and they were good. Naan was a bit hard in some spots which was a bit weird but they came out of a bag and we got there around 8pm so maybe they had been left out all day. There was a leaking roof with a bucket collecting drips, and the bathroom wasn't all that clean. $8 for two tacos was a good price IMO. Would try it again to see if the Naan is better, or maybe do a burrito instead, as the meat and veggies were great. Wish the Naan was made fresh would be my only suggestion.”
“Busy, busy! A sign the food is good. I tried the mango/strawberry cream cheese French toast for its high ratings. Yummy, it was right on the mark. Can't wait to try their other selections.”
“First time in we had no idea what we were doing. Turns out they were only doing take out atm but the very nice lady let us dine out side. She even brought us icecream at the end. Sweetest woman truly. Great food too.”
“I made an order for pick up. I was not prepared! This is the BEST butter chicken I’ve EVER eaten!!! 6 out of 5 stars! I was stuffed, so saved my chili chicken momo. Only issue was that when you order garlic naan, you get only o e piece, where every other place serving naan will give minimum two. But it was delicious! Will be coming back for the butter chicken guaranteed.”
“The food was tasty and the service was good. It appears they rely heavily on takeout business and have chosen not to invest in the atmosphere of the restaurant.”
“Stopped at AA for the first time on a Sunday after bowling. We ate in the large back room. I thought the prices were a bit high, but I admit that I don't eat out much and realize costs have come up. It is a huge menu, so something for everyone but may be overwhelming. Our server Wyatt was very attentive and friendly. The food was excellent. I sampled the reuben, salmon benedict, and bread pudding, all delicious. The portion size is generous and the food came out hot. AA gets my nod over Sweetpea's (across the freeway).”
“Be prepared to wait! Even coming for early dinner it is PACKED. But worth it every time. A staple dish is the Mary's fried chicken. Not pictured are the pesto fries and they're bomb. All their cocktails are delicious, lots of beer on tap, and seasonal dessert options. All the same people always working and so kind. Never disappointed when I leave here.”
“India Oven in Auburn gets an A+. Everything was absolutely delicious, the Tandoori Chicken, the best we've ever had. Service was fast and competent. Restaurant was clean and had a lovely atmosphere. Can't wait to return.Dietary restrictions: Gluten -Free options”
“This is a terrific family owned business! The food and service is always top notch and the vibes are amazing, and they have an ALLSTAR MVP behind the counter, she’s the best!!! Even hours later the food is delicious (my sandwich) highly recommend”
“Took a quick detour to try this place with my Daughter. Perfect Daddy Daughter lunch. Awesome atmosphere kinda like apple hill. Food was great and piping hot. Portion size was large. Can't wait to take my wife back”
