“Highly commendable service and absolutely stunning set menu! we went here for dinner last night for our Halloween date night! Their wagyu cuts are 100% top-grade and not just random "wagyu" that are below the marks. We tried their A5 and M9 meats, not to mention their salmon carpaccio that is to die for. Their sides are absolutely delicious and smart, one great example is their fried pork buns that is like a spin on soup dumplings. To top it off, you get premium ice cream in the end. Their salad is so good with yuzu and smokey salt, plus you get a chili mix too. They serve the meats fast plus your tablet menu is in front of you so you don't have to keep calling the staff to refill. I give them 9 stars! 🌟 🐄 🥩“

“This is the best BBQ I’ve had in LA. Tried for the first time yesterday - had the brisket and ribs and both were fantastic. Brisket was incredibly tender and the ribs were as well. Mac and Cheese was rich and delicious, greens had a little bite which is a perfect contrast to the richness of everything else we had. Delicious BBQ sauce, enjoyed the sweet slightly more than the spicy but both were great. I can’t wait to come back and try more sides.

“Came here pretty much when they opened for the day, there was already some people inside for a Saturday. When we finished eating, the restaurant was barely half full?

Food wise, the bbq meats are pretty decent cuts for what you pay for and the big shrimp we ordered is actually pretty good. They didn't have a real fishy smell, which is a plus, knowing some places just serve what they have sitting out.

There is a sauce bar with appetizers near the front of the restaurant, the bar itself is already baked into the price, there isn't any extra fee. There is also a self serve sherbet freezer with three flavors: vanilla, chocolate, and rainbow, as of writing this.

For the non grill foods, the soup and cold noodles are decently portion, definitely should split it up with others so you don't overfill. The popcorn chicken can be ordered as a half order, and to my surprise, it actually is pretty decent in terms of texture and juiciness, only downside is I wish they used some spice in the coating to give it a bit more oomph.

Overall, if I am ever in the area here, I might consider coming back when I'm looking for AYCE.“

This is inside a little mini mall atmosphere building I would have never found it if it hadn't been I was meeting a friend. By the way the food the barbecue is awesome it is unbelievably good The meat was just so tender and that barbecue sauce was absolute heaven on earth. I love the atmosphere. It was so nice and cool inside parking was a bit of a nightmare but it was worth it to have lunch at the pit and bull. Bathrooms provided an indoors very clean great atmosphere there's a lot of picnic tables set up where you can pick what restaurant food you want pizza or barbecue or there's a bakery in there that has the most awesome desserts I got a cherry pie and an apple pie They were $9 They were a little mini pies. “Great atmosphere overall (more of a young dark ambient vibe), though the wait was long — over 40 minutes when I arrived around 8 p.m. on a Saturday. The Yelp online waitlist worked, but it felt a bit odd to use.

The food has a very distinct flavor profile — not exactly my taste, but my family really enjoyed the variety of dishes. Personally, I only liked the fried rice and tofu skewers. The food itself isn’t bad at all; it’s just got a very unique flavor style that may not suit everyone.

I liked the digital menu and ordering system — it’s convenient — but the food took quite a while to arrive after placing our order. The staff were kind and attentive, which I appreciated. Seating, however, was not very comfortable; the chairs were light and tended to shift even with small movements.“

“This place is great and something I've been wanting to try for awhile and glad I didn't finally.

I had their barbacoa tacos guisados which was very tender and with cheese added. Their salsa bar added a lot to flavor to it and the barbacoa was very tender. Their chikali taco comes with beans and guacamole and I got it with carne asada. The asada was charred very well and seasoned very well also. The beans went well with it and were not soggy. The staff was very nice and helpful in describing what was available, popular, recommended and what they thought it should have.

There's some seating next to their shop which is convenient. Their agua frescas was very good also according to my friend. It was his favorite place so far when I took him the multiple taco joints in east LA.

I noticed that a lot of people in Korean Town over in Los Angeles were starting to purchase up commercial real estate and launch businesses in South El Monte. South El Monte is one of the most vibrant, diverse, and sweet pockets of hidden gem Asian foods in California and the San Gabriel Valley. When I go to school on the East Coast, I really miss it.“

“Came to Chinatown to look for a place to eat lunch. We ended up here and ordered 2 noodle dishes - beef chow fun and singapore noodles. The beef chow fun was delicious and spot on! The singapore noodles were good but the roast pork was a bit dry. I also thought the noodles lacked curry but my husband said it was fine. The portions were HUGE. We ended up taking the rest of the food home. For the price we paid, it was definitely worth it. Waitstaff was quick and courteous.“

We ordered a combo 2 for $29 ( only online) n got it to go since they almost close. The food came out hot and portion is generous, they gave a lot of meat and sides r delish. For a bbq chain this is really good quality. Fries r crispy n well seasoned, mac cheese was good, bbq sauce was delishhh. The toast was soft but crunchy at the same time, very buttery. The meat is so juicy and tender and soft fall off the bone type. I couldnt finish my plate in 1 go n i was pretty hungry! Definitely will be back again :) 9/10“

The roast duck and pork belly were fantastic! The lady told me I had good taste for picking the fatty meats ?Looks like a 1 item combo plate is $5.50 these days. Don't forget to tip well if you're able!“
