“First off the ambiance is this place is amazing! It's just so pretty and opulent! I didn't really know what to expect as it's located in the middle of a busy area next door to a burger joint. Once you enter the driveway and walk up the ramp, you see a beautiful historic home and a pretty tent covered "front yard" dining area with twinkling flower lights in the trees, perfect for hosting a special event or just a nice dinner. My kids were thrown off with the dining experience as they felt like they were eating in a living room, which it probably was at one point. Next to where we were dining was a "sun room" that would be fun to be seated in also! I explored upstairs and there is a spacious bar area along with a restroom and a couple of the bedrooms that were converted to dining areas as well. So cute. We came here to celebrate my oldest son's birthday. We ordered a few drinks, gluten free Penne Amatriciana, penne Carbonara, Cacio e Pepe, margherita pizza and the Whitefish Florentine. We also ordered for dessert the tiramisu, and the soufflé El Niño, and our server brought out a celebration plate of 3 mini desserts with a candle for my son's birthday. Everything we had was great. The presentation of the food was so pretty. The pizza was a bit on the soggy side due to the tomatoes that were on there but the taste was still good. They have gluten free penne as a pasta option and vegetarian options as well for those with these dietary needs. I can't say enough about our server, she was great. She was so so nice and attentive and made our evening memorable. As a matter of fact, every staff member I encountered here took the time to greet me. “I can't say enough good things about Mr G's pizza. The owners know how to make your experience an unforgettable one. I live in San Pedro and my mom lives in Diamond Bar. I gladly travel miles to taste their pizza and treat my mom to Mr G's whenever I can!! It is literally some of the best pizza I have tasted and wish they were located in the San Pedro area. The pizza dough is delicious and the toppings are always fresh and flavorful. Their pizza sauce brings all the ingredients together in a way that makes their pizza's insatiable. “Tucked away in the back corner of a strip mall in Hacienda Heights. This neighborhood gem Italian deli doesn't occupy a large space, but the space feels really efficient with a full service deli on one side and the other side having a place to order sandwiches/ prepared Italian foods with an area to sit. Like most Italian delis I've been to, this place sells a decent variety of market/ dry goods well. The prices here for the foods/ goods are more than reasonable and the overall place has that old school feel or at least the feel that this place has been here for quite a while. Came here on a rec from a coworker. Not sure if I was super hungry at the time, but I walked in greeted by friendly people and delicious smells coming from their hot dishes/ pastas. I ordered the Italian Grinder Sandwich (6 inch or regular size). Again, not sure if I was just particularly hungry at the time, but this sandwich was so fricken great. It had the classic Italian sub flavor profile and I though the bread they used was fantastic. Nice, soft and chewy with a nice firmness/crunch on the outside. The sandwich was more than enough. I actually was really tempted to buy some of the prepared pasta dishes to go for dinner (lasagna or baked rigatoni). Definitely would love to comeback to try some of my other classic fave sandwiches like chicken or eggplant parm. Or their Tuesday Guido sandwich special or pastrami sandwich. Parking was really easy to find because there is a pretty sizable lot relative to the traffic this place gets during the day.“

“After my beloved Angelo & Vinci's closed in downtown Fullerton I ventured off to find a new pizza and antipasto salad joint that could compare. This place had been recommended so I gave it a try with a take-out order of 3 large pizza’s, chicken picatta, a beet salad, and antipasto salad. Food quality wise everything was great and closely resembled years of memories at A & V. The standard menu only shows a single-serving antipasto salad and we needed to feed 8, so when we called in our order for take-out we asked if they had a family size antipasto salad and the gentleman said yes, we have it in a “half tray size”. We thought without hesitation great, and we completed our order and drove to pick it up. Not once during the phone call did the restaurant mention the $90.00 price tag for a family size antipasto salad. To say the least we were slightly shocked at pick up time that the salad we ordered was going to cost $90.00. The 3 large pizzas cost less than the salad. The large antipasto salad at A & V was only $33.95 at time of their closing last year. And $60.00 would have been a fair price considering inflation and rising wages. 5-stars for the food quality, 3-stars for the staff not stating the price of an item not on the regular menu, and 1-star to me for not asking…….just never expected the shocking price. Didn't rate atmosphere as we did take-out. Will be back for pizza in the future but hold the salad please.“

Our friends picked the spot, and I have to admit I wasn't super excited about trying this restaurant just because there aren't a ton of reviews and it's pricey. However, I have not been able to stop thinking about the gnocchi since eating it. It was the best gnocchi I've ever had by a long shot. I didn't realize I loved gnocchi until I had the ricotta gnocchi carbonara. My understanding is it's made with ricotta instead of potatoes which would explain why I'm obsessed with it. It was so fluffy and had some cheese in the center and was beyond perfect.We also had the pepperoni, burrata, hot honey pizza and it was fantastic.Service was fantastic.My only con is that parking is valet only. We spent $15-$20 to park for the evening if I remember correctly.
