“For months I would stop and read the menu but just couldn’t bring myself to try one their “concoctions”. That was my loss. I’ve stepped out of my comfort zone trying several of their master pieces and have not been disappointed once. This place is like the Disney Epcot of sandwich shops. Ready for an American classic, the biscuits and gravy sandwich might be their simplest sandwich but I’m salivating right now just thinking about it. The gravy is top three I’ve ever had, if not the best. Ready for a trip south of the border, the enchiladas suizas sandwich might be my favorite so far (minus the sour cream). The addition of the chips might seem like something my kid would do, but don’t think this sandwich would be same without them. The salsa verde rivals anything I’ve had at any Mexican restaurant. Looking for something a little on the sweet side then give the honey walnut prawns a try, and continue down the Asian fusion path with the pot sticker cheese burger. I could go on but just know your trip around the culinary world doesn’t stop there. Don’t like to travel, no problem, the cheese burger will more than get the job done. Fair warning, they have a lot of fun and work their butts off, but on busy days there can be a bit of a wait so take some time and enjoy all Main Street has to offer. It will be more than worth it.“
“Excellent and welcoming staff. Lisa is very hospitalible and set up the outdoor firepit for us right away and bring us some wine for tasting. We ordered roasted squash, spinach and almond salad with bacon dressing, and a chicken artichoke cheese flatbread. Food tastes great. The flatbread was crispy and warm but a little burnt at the bottom. Lisa keeps checking on us to pour the wine and bringing us hot water and water in addition to the wine flight. She is very attentive and informative; we learned much about their winery and the wines we were sampling. Their. cute little dog is also very friendly and welcoming; keep wanting to play with us. We shall return and try their other wines.“
“This market was a great find for me. Only been to this area a couple of times. We were visiting friends and they took us here for the first time on Saturday afternoon around 4pm. There was plenty of parking and it wasn't busy or crowded. The market is clean and very open. All items looked great and I wish we were able to try some things so we could buy it....There is a small outbuilding that is designated for "tasting" but the employee who was there wasn't very friendly and we didn't really feel welcomed. We tried one thing and then left the tasting building. (We were a little disappointed at how this area was being operated). The rest of the market was great! There is a bargain table that had some amazing deals and I was told by my friend (she's a local) this is the area to shop first! There are locally made wines and cinders. They even have a tasting if you want to pay for it. We actually purchase a bottle of wine (Blackberry apple? Yum!) and two ciders (pomegranate and blackberry -Yum). We definitely want to come back here when we in the area again.“
“We've been members of Boeger's wine club for a number of years, and they never fail to impress! Love having access to their amazing selection of rarer Spanish and Italian varietals, in particular. Winemaker Justin Boeger is a true talent - lucky to have him and his staff doing their thing right here in the Capitol region!“
“One of the best sandwiches I have had in Old Hangtown (Placerville)! I had the Angry Irishman. It was delicious. It's a grilled sandwich with Corned Beef, Pastrami, Cream Cheese, Havarti, Caramelized Onions, Jalapeños, and Hot Pepper Spread all on beautifully grilled Sourdough. Service was friendly. Inside seating is sparse. Just a few seats at the bar, and a table.“
“What a fantastic place this is!We were there on day when a storm came in. Sitting on the back patio, under a umbrella, sipping wine and enjoying the clouds, lightning and thunder roll through. The people there were so nice and the amount of awards the wines have was pretty cool.We will certainly be going back again.... And, again.“
“Great tasting room and wines. Stopped in on a Thursday and had a nice time. Great indoor space with games that you and your friends can play with. They do have trivia nights - looking forward to checking that out. Overall a great experience“
“I love coming here. I know they treat everyone in the supply chain well, the coffee is great, they have all the alternative milks one could want, and delicious homemade pastries. Lots of space to lounge, work and enjoy. The little courtyard outside seemed pleasant! I wish we could’ve stayed longer.“
“I brought my wife and daughter on a Sunday afternoon, it was a very idyllic and wonderful little vineyard! It was spacious and very accommodating with a wonderful atmosphere. The wine wasn't too expensive and the service was top notch!Cannot recommend more highly. My family will certainly be back!“
“Thank you to the staff for accommodating our dog on the deck. The sausage gravy was a little under-seasoned in my opinion and we prefer our bacon more crispy, but the sourdough was excellent and the pancakes and syrup were definitely a highlight. Great portion sizes.“
“My biscuits and gravy this morning was delicious and a generous serving. It was brought to my table with steaming hot coffee by the owner, Haley Kline. Very friendly welcoming kind of place, I'm looking forward to many more visits. Can't wait to try one of the many bagels with a tasty smear of my choice, or maybe even lox and cream cheese. The turkey pesto bacon Harvarti on a garlic bagel yummy, lots of choices... Thank you to the amazing team involved in making my order. Jean Long“
“Been there twice in recently everything was great. In the past I went often. I was working at the time and had extra money now living on a fix income do not go as often. Service has always been excellent and food is very good.Parking: There was plenty of parkingWheelchair accessibility: Easy in and out“
“This is a great, fun stop if you're exploring downtown Placerville. Tasty wines, friendly staff, really cool space, lots of comfy sitting spaces, and great local music Thursday thru Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons. Don't miss!“
“This burger joint is close to my home, so I have been a regular consumer. One favorite was the Chinese Chicken salad. Their limited hours makes it tough to eat there. They take no orders after 6:30 pm and close the indoor seating early as well. Recently, they raised their prices significantly. At these rates I would rather eat at a nicer place such as the Tap House or Brick Oven Pub.“
“This was our first time here, we saw the place 2 days ago, but we were in a hurry, but we decided we will try it in the way back home, and we did and everything was excellent, the BBQ was flavorfull, all the meats came off the bone easily and all the sides were perfect, specially the cole slaw and the green beans and the rolls, they reminded me of my country.Everything was great, from food to the place to the staff.Keep up the good work and the superb food.Parking: Right at the door, lots of spots.Kid-friendliness: This food is perfect for everyone, kids will love it.“
