“I’ve been waiting for a high quality, good tasting, family friendly brewery to arrive in the deep east bay ( Martinez, concord, Walnut Creek, Pittsburgh, Dublin etc) to drink at after our family outings in the area and it finally arrived. All the other ones were just not good beer or service. From my understanding this brewery is originally from Tracy and opened this as a second location and all I have to say is thank the hop gods it’s here. Large menu featuring all sorts of beers from IPA more malt flavored, and even traditional German,English, and Scottish. The inside is nice and the local area is very classy and safe. The inside can be a tight squeeze for families and kids but we always see other families there for my kids to play with as well as having a park/ fountain connected right next door and a little outdoor seating area.If you want food there is lots of options nearby that they will allow you to bring in or order on the app but they don’t serve it themselves. The staff is always friendly and has great customer service. This has quickly turned into one of my favorite breweries in such a short time. Highly recommend!”
“Ok so first, the food was absolutely DELICIOUS, AMAZING, TERRIFIC, and so much more. Second, once you have ordered your food it will come in 15 or less minutes! Third, once you come into the restaurant, (you may have to wait in a line) the hostess will ask you for your name and phone number, if you want to be seated outside or inside, and how long the wait time is (about 20 minutes). Lastly, you should definitely consider coming to Jack's if you're feeling hungry! (They serve breakfast until 2:00pm and lunch all day.) PS you HAVE to try the Mac and cheese!Vegetarian options: You could get the omelet (which is very good) if you are looking for something that is for vegetarians.Kid-friendliness: The hostess would ask you if you want a kid(s) menus. Plenty of options on the kids menu.”
“Fairly pleasant place to walk around and enjoy the surrounding with lots of other places to eat. The restaurant had American style delicious food and at a fairly good priceParking: Limited time parking”
“Came with my son(5months) for a quick lunch. Got there about 40mins before closing. Right away you can tell this place is top notch. Everything tasted wonderful. I cannot wait to bring my boyfriend back for a dinner sometime.”
“We've been to Wisegirl twice and had great food both times. We sit in their open "alcove" next to the actual restaurant, which works great for us -- with one exception. Both times, when our food came, we still had no table settings. We had to wait, and in one visit, had to ask twice. They need to bring table settings when they seat you or take your order.”

“All pros, no cons. Tzunun is a great place to wear a collared shirt out to dinner, or go have a casual bite and drink. Their bartenders and cooks know what they're doing and the serving staff provide wonderful service.Small menu, but enough variety for a large party to all have a different experience. When you go, I recommend coming hungry and trying multiple items!”
“Loved Loved Loved this place. The drinks were yummy, the food was delicious. The service was awesome. Definitely a must try.. I ordered the Seafood Grill. I enjoyed every bite but I just loved the deep fried polenta. So good!!! Perfect place for any occasion.”
“Wanted jjajangmyeon (black bean noodles) and got it here. Added a little salt to taste and it was great!!! They also have bulgogi Kimbap (beef roll) which is a plus but the meat was slightly smoky tasting, but still tasted amazing! The restaurant was full of Koreans which is a good sign. I’ll have to come back and try some other dishes.”

“This has been the BEST experience dining in! When I came in I was deciding what meal I wanted, and after communicating that to the cashier, he helped me combine the best of both worlds (of which I was debating) and created an amazing meal. Thank you so much! I look forward to my next visit!”
“I’ll give it 4.5 stars. It’s a chain sandwich spot. Bread was solid. Sandwich was good and hit the spot, but it’s not earth shattering. Staff was courteous. Come here for a solid sandwich. It feels very corporate-sandwich-shop-ish inside so I ate and left. I was wondering how this place earned 4.9 stars and found the note on the tables where they offer a free gift for a review. I am personally not a fan of that, so I wanted to share. Overall a solid chain sandwich spot.”
“Solid brunch spot. Food was good, huge portions, and the option for bottomless mimosas. They have some good vegetarian options including an impossible patty. No reservations allowed, but you add your name to the check in list. Took about 30 minutes to get seated for a group of 4 (we arrived at 11am and were seated just after 11:30). We were seated in an outdoor tent that was a bit hot from the sun (no ventilation). Friendly servers and they were definitely busy. Were prompt on refilling mimosas though! Would return.Vegetarian options: Avocado salad was yummy. They also have egg and impossible pattysParking: Plenty of parking”

“Excellent Bay Area specialty coffee with vegan food menu and enjoyable for anyone! The coffee menu had a handful of creative and tasteful signature drinks along with the classics. While in line I heard someone ask if the drinks were sweet and they kindly said “not St4rbux sweet” which is a green flag for sure to anyone who really knows coffee. They also offered that customer to make their drink less sweet if they were worried. I had my go-to iced americano to see how good their espresso shots taste since I was sure they were doing something right with so many other good reviews and my experience up to that point. The good vibes were there before I even ordered and that coffee hit too! The Avocado toast is on the fluffiest freshest bread with some sprinkled hemp seeds and chili flakes. I also opted for some chili oil and loved it! Super friendly service and a wait time that was indicative of the care they put into each order without having to wait too long! I wish I lived around here cause it seems like THE local community coffee spot I would be frequenting.”
“Historic and Classic Hot Dog spot.Hot dogs (with fixings), chips and drinks only. They do well what they sell.No public restroom.Parking: Parking lot and street parking available. Purple don't stay long. A lot of take-out orders.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible.”

“The first 5 times I went to this place it was great. The last 3 times I've gone here there's been something wrong with our order. The last two times we ordered super burritos the cheese is never melted. Just a big lump of cold cheese in the middle of the burrito. Also we seem to have gotten really overcooked carne asada meat. It was like chewing on leather. Our orders were to go so we didn't notice until we got home. Hopefully they shore up their problems in the kitchen. I'll still go back and order their food.”
“Junenov offers a refreshing twist on Taiwanese teas, making it a go-to spot for tea enthusiasts. Their selection of fresh Taiwanese teas is simply delightful, boasting authentic flavors that transport you to Taiwan with every sip.”
“One of the best pizzas I've ever had! The crust is perfect and cheese to toppings ratio is perfect. They can even customize your pizza by doing half and half. Service is great too! Highly recommend this place.”
“I'm a proud torta snob and my BF and I have been on the hunt for a good one for ~6/7 years. On a whim we found this pace and love their tortas so much we don't order anything else for fear of missing the torta experience too much. We get the carne asada specifically and it's perfection. The bread is soft but slightly grilled so there's a nice crunch. The meat is ALWAYS cooked well, sliced thin, and flavorful. The veggies are fresh and the pickled jalapeño adds a kick. The bonus is the homemade chips with the salsa - just so good. I've eaten at least 7 of them and the quality and taste is consistent. I think it's the bread, honestly, that takes this next level. I wish I could buy their bread in bulk. Also, we've eaten in the restaurant only twice and the main woman who runs the show is the nicest person with the biggest smile. She is lovely. The whole staff is great and always smiling when I see them, too. Overall just a great place with tasty tortas (and I'm sure great food in general) and kind people.”

“What an amazing addition to Pleasant Hill! First off, the service is wonderful. The man (whom I am assuming is the owner) is so nice/sweet. Second, there is actually parking in front for take out orders! Third, the food is amazing and portions are a good size! We ordered: 1. Shrimp rolls #1 -- fresh and yummy! 2. Bun Bo Hue #14 -- SO SO good!!! 3. Grilled Beef with Garlic noodles #33 -- SO good! My girls loved the garlic noodles 4. Grilled Chicken with Garlic Noodle #32 -- SO good! 5. Grilled Chicken Salad #23 -- my dad loved this salad so much, he finished the entire entree in one sitting. He Initially said he'd only finish half. The restaurant is very clean, and it's busy, so it sounds like this place has already caught on!”

“You know who the more seasoned servers are- I know you have to learn along the way but they call it shadowing for a reason. If you want to work, get great tips, pay attention, have integrity, and huddle. Get off your damn phone, refill drinks, cold plates come with the salad and always provide a pizza server with a hot pizza. Ask if the customer wants pepper or Parmesan cheese on their salad/pizza. Besides that the food is always amazing every single item. The seasoned servers know who they are and I always ask to sit in their section!”

“I attended a work function here. The room was quite nice. Very clean. Our bartender/waitress "Liz" was awesome! So friendly and helpful. The cocktails were tasty and so was the food. It was a plated dinner with hors d'oeuvres. My NY steak was perfect! Huge portion and tender. My family and I will be back for a regular sit-down dinner.Wheelchair accessibility: There are two entrances. One in front and a larger lot in the rear of the restaurant. Both are wheelchair accessible.”

“This is one of my husband and mine's favorite breakfast restaurants. It is cozy, the staff is friendly and treat you like family, and the food is absolutely wonderful. The portion sizes are huge, and it's always tasty. Better than homemade. I highly recommend this restaurant.”

“My friend and I visited for lunch on a Saturday and like other reviewers, appreciated that there were lunch specials on a Saturday. We both ordered the short ribs lunch special which included banchan side dishes. The short ribs were delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. The staff were super friendly and also checked back with us as to whether we wanted additional banchan. Restaurant was clean. We will definitely be back.”
“Their "eggwich" bagels were tasty and filling, stayed hot from start to finish. Very satisfying! We will return next time we're in Pleasant Hill!Vegetarian options: I enjoyed an eggwich without meat. There were other vegetarian sandwich options, but perhaps not much for vegans.”
“Come to the Bay Area to visit family a few time per year and stop at Zachary’s every time. The stuffed spinach & mushroom is one of my favorite foods anywhere. The original spot on College Ave or the in Pleasant Hill are I make my stops but sure the others are just as good.”
“My son was craving In-N-Out.Usually, each one of them is extremely busy, and a waiting of minimum of 10 to 30 minutes to make the order, but this location at 1pm wasn't that busy.He had his meal in less than 15 minutes.Have fun and carry on people ?”
“Typical decor, clean and organized table setting, food is great and if your having large pho be prepared, its big and loaded with the ingredients you chose, its ok to pay $13 and up for your meal, after many years of not having pho and with my strict diet, large bowl of pho overwhelmed me, next time im having the kids size pho!?”
“been going here for years and years always a good meal always a good special priced well and good old American fair service is always great service with a smile. Ambience is a good diner surrounding.”

“Wow. This was really good. I loved dipping my chips in my clam chowder. I ordered a soup and sandwich combo. I got the tuna sandwich. It was good. I forgot to order cheese but it was fine without it. It was nice to find good soup. I would definitely return if I am in the area again soon.”

“If you want to try real Mexican foods on the USA soil, try this restaurent. The size of the meals are generous and the workers are passionate about what they do.Try their shrimp salad!”
“Food has never disappointed, the service has always been accommodating, and the atmosphere, especially in the outdoor seating, is just wonderful. I’ll come 1,000 times more!”

“My favorite Chinese Food spot! I've moved away from the area and still drive out to Pleasant Hill just to pick it up. The owner is always wonderful when I walk through the door. It's a great experience!”
“Post pandemic, the service amost everywhere has gone downhill, but Amanda on the bar side is amazing. Back 40 has always had good food but Amanda puts it over.”

El Morocco
“So fun and beautiful! The food and atmosphere was perfect for a special occasion with friends. Very comfortable seating, lots of options for meat eaters and the vegetarian/vegans in our group. We both ordered different dishes with shrimp and enjoyed them. The belly dancing was fun and we all got to dance and be involved as much as we wanted. I recommend that you make a reservation for dinner and check when the belly dancer will perform. We brought some cash to tip the dancer. She was amazing! If you don't make a reservation, you can walk in and there is a bar where I also saw people eating.Dietary restrictions: There were vegan, vegetarian, fish, and meat options.Kid-friendliness: I did not bring kids but saw some children here.”

“I got the black garlic ramen. It had great flavor. It was not spicy. So if you like spicy, ask for it. The waiter was very nice. It was a little warm in the restaurant. Would come back if I lived ”
“Absolutely incredible life changingly good food, even for a vegan like myself ?Vegetarian options: They had so many vegan/vegetarian options, seriously fenomenal how delectable”
“Very lovely owners who cook and clean themselves and make DELICIOUS food. Please, if you're looking for a nice change of pace, come try this restaurant out. Such friendly staff ( all family) and very quiet, nicely lit atmosphere. Quick to come out with food and very gentle attitudes toward customers. Will definitely be coming back here again.”
“Went out for lunch with 3/10/24 Sichuan is located in a quiet area. Outside, no wannabe macho men making vehicular racket. Inside, no misbehaving parents training their children to be noisy neighbors. My not so clean daughter had Some Nerve to complain about smudge in her teacup. The waiter explained that "the cups are clay and the tea stain is impossible to remove". I'm thinking of calling it tea patina maybe? The service and presentation was Fine, Almost Everything tasted delicious. That interesting Szechuan spice yummy umm. Moist pork shoulder with crunchy and chewy skin oh yes.. Lip numbing tofu squares pressing sweetly on my tongue! Save me! Take me back for more! Ok I'm getting carried away but it was a very good meal and worth 60 miles on the odometer. Almost all the dishes were perfect. The only complaints? The potsticker wrapper was a bit chewy. Also the Walnut Prawns were conspicuously short on walnuts and one son wanted more sweet sauce on them. I found them refreshingly not too sweet. Check out the pics. And visit my new gem in Pleasant Hill.”
“We are diehard fans of Okini Sushi, since they were located on Pleasant Hill Rd. We always get a Chicken Katsu or Teriyaki Dinner Bento & a roll, or a bowl is Chicken Udon soup. I don't think there's any 'bad' order here - I also love their hot green tea (flavored with toasted rice).Service is exceptional; this is one of the local places I'd love to see around for decades.”
“We've been here several times now and really enjoy how flavorful the food is. Even our young kids really like it. My favorite are pretty much anything that's spicy, the hot sauce they use is delicious. My daughter likes the brisket and pretty much fills up on that over a rice bowl.My only complaint is how expensive it is. So we only go on special occasions or when we have the extra money for it.Atmosphere is beautifully lit and we enjoy sitting at the booth seating.Kid-friendliness: We bring our kids and they enjoy the food and helping on the grill.”
“This is our go-to Chinese restaurant in Pleasant Hill - we've only done dine-in and service is fast and friendly, while the food is always delicious. I'm a big fan of their salt and pepper options, as well as their kung pao chicken. Their crispy glazed chicken is tasty too. Great lunch specials too - you get your entree and rice, along with a cup of soup and your choice of salad or spring roll.”
“Hands down the best sushi in town! My go-to when I’m craving sushi. I’ve tried other Japanese/sushi restaurants and none of them are compared to Matsu Sushi. This place never disappoints!”
“I only come to this location for the lunch specials with my family on Sundays The resturant is in a quiet shopping plaza near the sun Valley mall. The ambiance is a dark room with the lights off the entire time. Staff doing utensils in the same room as the customers. Some weekends are busier than others. This past weekend, there is no one in the dining room except for me and my family. Staff is usually attentive to our family needs. For less than 20 dollars, we got salad, hot and sour soup, and our entre. Today I got Mongolia three ways with chow mein. It was a large portion and brought leftovers home. Much more worth it compared to a small plate at panda express. Overall, I enjoy this place ALOT more than the food options at nearby mall. If you want good meal for the price, come for the lunch specials between 11 am to 3 pm.”

Jack's Taps
“This place is awesome. Good food, good atmosphere and a convenient location with accessible parking most of the time (Sunday brunch not so much). On weeknights, we like to go to Jack's Taps. One bartender in particular (Caitlin) always makes the trip there a Cheers moment. She knows our names and whether we have a preferred order. So glad we have found our place in Pleasant Hill.”
“They have lots of options and the lunch/dinner meals are really nice. I wish their kimchi was a little spicier, but overall this was a stellar experience. If you're walking from the parking structure next to it, Google can be unhelpful because it'll only take you to the back of the building, but if you continue past the tailor's store in the side, you'll find it and won't be disappointed!”
24 Hour Restaurants
“Tammy T gave her best effort to provide our table attention, for she was the only server in the evening. She was obviously swamped. I don't recall seeing more than one server on the floor. Hopefully, management can address the staffing issue.”
“Absolutely delicious. Fresh chips and salsa carnitas burrito so flippin good. This place is the best around. They know how to cook. It's seasoned well and fully delicious. And fast. Ten stars.”

“We've been going every Wednesday and it's been great. They switch out trucks every other week or so. Plenty of parking, there's a band that plays and there are some picnic tables as well as plenty of lawn area to sit at”

Takeout Restaurants
“A cute and pink little bakery in the center of downtown Pleasant Hill. You will not be disappointed when entering Batter n Icing and taking one, or a dozen, delicious cupcakes. I made mini cupcakes with floral patterns and some special cupcakes for my birthday. Delicious and adorable. The raspberry almond is delectable.”
“I’ve passed by this place going to a boba shop and have always wanted to try it. In short: I’m SO GLAD I did. My sister and I ordered two flavors of chicken: Yang nyum & Chee-rinkle. Yang nyum itself is a staple, chee-rinkle is different but became one of my favorite flavors. Planning on returning and trying all the flavors. We’ve also ordered the veggie kimbap and the kimchi fried rice. The fried rice? Delicious. Homemade with love AND had mozzarella cheese in it.TLDR: 10/10, can’t recommend enough. Will bring more of my friends to this restaurant.”
“Food was excellent. I ordered the duck liver and it was outstanding. The host and waiters were on top of it and did a great job. Jacob, especially!! I'd come back just for him. And the place was beautifully decorated.”
“Great food. I had the special that was chicken enchiladas with molé sauce that evening, which was the best molé I ever had. Sometimes, they have live Mariachis, who are very talented singers and guitar players.”
“Oh my, there's so much to say about this Mountain Mike's by DVC. Not only does it have the most excellent food, yet also such wonderful staff! Hanish & his wife are so-o kind, caring, patient, knowledgeable, friendly, professional, & hard working! The entire staff is the same as their role models (recently met Rahul & he's amazing, as well).I feel like they're family, & I can see how much they care about their work, pizza, etc., & people too... :-)If you haven't been there/ordered, please give them a try; you'll be so happy that you did! They're very special folks with very delicious, yummy menu items.Peace & Joy ~ Cindy :-)”
“Food was tally tasty and filling. We're were served quickly. My friend ordered a Margarita and said it was the best she's had in a while. Also, I was dining in, but also placed an order to go. Our waitress didn't muss a beat and brought out my Togo order when she brought the check.I've also been here for Sunday brunch. Great taste and selection.”
“Found this truck at Five Suns Brewing in Martinez, and I'm going to come back every week. Their Churrasco is divine: charred, tender, flavorful. Even their rice was great. Moving down the menu now. Do it.”
“My favorite Chinese Food spot! I've moved away from the area and still drive out to Pleasant Hill just to pick it up. The owner is always wonderful when I walk through the door. It's a great experience!”

“Long time favorite! Haven't lived near there in 20 years but make a point to stop anytime we drive through town. The (old no. 19) burritos are tasty and filling! The crispy taco just the right crunch and flavor! Friendly service! Happy to get to stop by Pacheco before it's move... classic spot!”
“I loveeee my coffee from here. We stop on the way to church every Sunday! Family owned, sometimes they take a while because they're busy which is understandable. I'm gonna keep supporting : )”
“This is one of the better sushi spots around, I would definitely recommend it. You’ll be hard pressed to find much better in the area. Service is always good as well.”

“Amazing iced tea - extraordinary customer experience, clean and fresh cafe. Highly recommend. You will not find freshly brewed iced tea like this short of sun brewing it yourself.”
“They have a taco truck in the plaza in front of the pleasant hill bart. I went on a Tuesday night and got 5 tacos. They were so good and pretty quick too. I tried one of each meat, and they were all delicious. I will definitely be going back.”
“We love going to this Outback! Great service, friendly staff and good food.We make this our go to date night dinner and like to sit at the bar while having dinner. The Grilled Salmon is my favorite.”
“First time in my life trying sushi with beef and lobster. Definitely an interesting mix of flavors to try but although they seperatly tastes great, I wouldn't order the same thing again and would stick to the classics. Everything on the menu is delicious and worth a try. Food 10/10, however very slow service which is why I'm giving it 4 stars. Would go back again but just not go hungry because the wait may be long.”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“We ordered our food at the kiosk. It worked well. We didn't receive the glasses for drinks, When we asked for the drinks, the woman stared at us as if we were thieves. (We're senior citizens.) Uncomfortable, but she finally gave the glasses to us. The food is fresh and well made and hot.”
“I went on a Tuesday for the $5 Single Papa meal (cheeseburger, fries and a drink). It's a pretty good deal. It may not be enough food for some but I was happy with the serving size. It has been years since I have been to an A&W. This one is also a KFC. A bonus if you have a family that can't agree on food ”
“For it to be a Taco Bell, I got what I would expect, and a little more.As soon as I walked in I was greeted by multiple people, very nice. It was pretty early in the morning, I start work at 5am. I asked if Lunch was available, and received no judgement. My food was out as fast as I was ordering it, Hot as can be.It’s Taco Bell… I got what I wanted.”
“This is my favorite BK location around the Bay Area and the only BK I'll order from because I've never gotten the wrong order, the food is never over-fried or dried out, and the customer service is great! I usually go through the drive thru and Armando, the cashier, is the nicest person I've ever encountered in fast food. I've never been rushed to give my order, He is always so friendly and makes the BK trip so pleasant!”
“Came for the Deluxe Breakfast and is always a pleaser. Ordered at the kiosk with a number for table service, and they told us we had to pick up our food from the counter. Not sure if this is new. The bathrooms required a combo so couldn't access the cleanliness. The exit can be confusing as it is next to the drive-thru. The coffee always seems to be missing the sugar or sweetner.”
“I had a fantastic experience at VitalityBowls! The food was fresh, delicious, and full of flavor. The atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. And to top it off, the service provided by Rajni was excellent. She was friendly, warm, and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I give VitalityBowls and Rajni a well-deserved 5 stars!”
“I love using the mobile app and sometimes drive thru, the staff is always so nice and fun! The other day the app was down so I had to drive thru to order my coffee, the young gentleman at the window was really kind and friendly! The way they make their coffee is similar to 1690 location, both are not too sweet and the freshest coffee beans at all times! I love this location”
“Parking: The parking is right in front of the business and there is plenty of space to park !Kid-friendliness: Yes it’s kid friendly great spot for anyone to come and enjoy!Wheelchair accessibility: Yes , it’s only a one story building their a handicapped parked slot strictly for those who are handicapped and their is a sidewalk for those who need to ride up in their!”
“Decent food unfortunately its gotten way too expensive especially since the minimum wage raise cause none of the fast food workers can get a order right, always missing items or wrong items. Havent gotten an order right outta 4 visits!!!!!”

“Really good food!! Enjoyed the food a lot, fast and friendly service, didn’t have to wait long for my food to be ready and the food was so good, I’ll definitely be ”
“We've been here several times now and really enjoy how flavorful the food is.
“Today was my first time at this roundtable pizza. They were a little busy, but it was well worth the wait I’ve been eating at roundtable Pizza for a long time so I know when they’re making the pizzas to recipe or not. This location knocked it out of the park. Great job guys made a delicious pizza and I very much appreciate it.”

“There is another starbread location in pittsburg ca. I personally like this location more than the pittsburg one. Location: the location is in a shopping plaza near sunvalley mall and diablo Valley College. The same plaza with happy lemon. Parking is easy to find in the area. Ambiance: smell of Filipino seniorita bread and baked goods fill the space. However, there is no chairs and tables. It only has space for the tables and chairs. Food: you don't need to travel to Hawaii to eat a good masala. Starbread has a variety of deserts like seniorita bread, mochi donuts, Filipino style donuts like bichu bichu. And masalas. Credit card is accepted if the order is more than 7 dollars. The ube msalas is delicious. Overall, come to this place if you miss Hawaii and want to Try filipino baked goods for a reasonable price.”
“Really well made Thai comfort food, better than most appetizers, fast service, good proportions, to go containers keep food hot for the ride, a lot of different things to try, ive eaten here now about a dozen times, nice decor on holidays, I've been to Thailand and eaten with Thai people, and this is a close second I'm America. Best part if you want it spicy, they know how to give it to youVegetarian options: Had to get off meat while my teeth got fixed and was able to change every dish and appetizerDietary restrictions: Same thing, had teeth issues, ask for and received soft foodsParking: More than 20 spotsKid-friendliness: It's weird my kid orders nuggets and fries and fried rice and to my surprise everything was cooked so well, I began stealing his food and ordered my own fries once. Also they made a nicely simple fried rice, no spice and finely cut veggies, perfectly cooked, I eat his leftovers all the time, same with noodles and curries”
“Very cute local BBQ joint with excellent food and friendly staff. The food is very quick compared to other places like it and the prices are super reasonable. The restaraunt and bathrooms are well-maintained and clean, offering a very welcoming experience.Dietary restrictions: They offer several gluten free sides like the German potato salad.”
“I feel like this review is going to be unfair, because last time we had an out of this world experience. First visit. The restaurant was completely empty. An older gentleman suggested an amazing slow braised meat in curry. It was so tender and tasteful beyond description. We waited a while for that dish. Others in my party praised the food as amazing as well. Second visit. We tried to get that meat braised in curry and received a beef version of curry chicken. Now it wasn't bad but it wasn't amazing. The food us still pretty good, but after that first visit, it's really hard to compare anything to the flavors we tasted. So, I am going to still give it a 4 stars eventhough I feel that there has definitely been a change in taste and flavor.”
“Ham and cheese crepe was delicious. Pear, jam brie crepe was okay, could've used more pears to balance the brie. Salad was a disappointment, they were out of some of the ingredients yet did not inform us until we were served and started eating the salad and asked about the missing ingredients. The service was friendly and helpful, other than lack of communication about salad.Definitely recommend the crepes, done well and tasty.”
“Very good customer service and food. The atmosphere was peaceful and very clean. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and he's so down to earth. The catfish is a must!!!!”
“The seafood combo plate with short rib is the best Hawaiian BBQ I've ever had! My second time here and they are beyond my expectations. I am always kindly greeted and served my food in a timely matter. The restaurant is clean and tidy. Such generous portions, seasoned perfectly, cooked well, and high quality food. This was my first time trying the spam and egg musubi and I appreciate it so much that they offer this. I've been to other Hawaiian BBQ spots who don't serve spam and egg musubi despite having the ingredients for it! Good move on L&L Barbecue for making the best of their menu. One of my favorite places to get good quality food in the East Bay. Please stay this amazing forever!”
“The place is always clean an the staff are always nice. The prices def got $$ since I can recall. Which I didn’t mind but they had to have done something with the buns. Something changed. There not as they were before. An they seem to go light on those Cajun fries with the spice. Throw more on!!!! The ref fires are blah.”
“The first time you were able and you had to do something about the situation you had with your family you had a good relationship and I think that you had to do that with the kids because I know that you had a bad experience and you were trying and I think you had a great ? and you were right to say it but I don’t know what to tell him about it and you have a lot more than that and you know I’m”
“Bowls with potatoes and meat are excellent. The meat has a great flavor with or without the sauce.Vegetarian options: Not a place for vegetarian or vegan dining”
“BEST CHINESE IN THE EAST BAY HANDS DOWN !! There's a reason they've been around for 30+ years ! Never once been disappointed and our family's been going here for decades. The owners & waiters are an absolute delight as well and are always so fun to speak with. Genuinely cannot recommend this place enough, their lunch specials are such a good deal so if you want to try here and leave stuffed for under $15 swing by! The ginger scallion beef is stupid fire and their kung Pao is the best I've had. Hope they continue to be in business for another 30 years :) love you guys !”
“Familyyyyy who knows?!!! I absolutely recommend this bubble tea shop! With their incredible range of flavors and impeccable service, it's a go-to spot for bubble tea lovers. I just tried their new bento, I have to say it’s the best bento I ever had.Kid-friendliness: They have special drinks for kiddos”
“I love this little cafe. I normally only come in on Sunday mornings, and when I walk in, you feel like family there . They already know what I'm going to order. I'm from out of town and make you feel like living in the neighborhood next door to them. .”
“Their new store hours are 8:30/8:45.I got there at 8:40 on an 8:45 night and they were already closed & the staff wouldn’t even look at me when I approached the door and knocked. I thought they were still open for another 15-20mins so I was confused. After I knocked they went into the back, and I read their sign to see if they closed early that night, but it turns out they changed their hours. The yogurt is good, the place is usually clean, a little sticky, but it’s froyo so that’s to be expected, overall a good place. They just need to update their hours!Dietary restrictions: Their flavors have ingredients listed (:Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible”
“Teapot is literally the only boba place with mango sagos that I know of in concord, pleasant hill, Walnut Creek and Martínez and they make them SOOO GOOD. I always come here from Walnut Creek because of this drink. Their fruit based drinks are so good in general. They taste very natural and not artificial like other places. Please come here for a ✨delectable✨ mango sago you won’t be disappointed ?”
“Hands down the best sushi in town! My go-to when I’m craving sushi. I’ve tried other Japanese/sushi restaurants and none of them are compared to Matsu Sushi. This place never disappoints!”
“Nation's is always a place to go with reliable quality, quanity and overall good service. They have a menu if delectable burgers, chicken, sides and the best of all breakfast all day. So if you wake up late and need that omelet with sourdough toast and hash browns, to make your day..Nation's is there! Omg the grilled cheese is always on the table, too.”

“First timer impression- cozy. Came on a Saturday night to hear live rock and roll music from Jokers Wild. Love the atmosphere, seating, friendly staff, and best drink prices around. There’s a section with two pool tables and shuffleboard arranged with a dozen recliners along the wall in front of the big screen. Parking is well lit and right in front.Check it out.”
“The Manager and the staff are absolutely amazing. Every time I walk in there I get such a friendly welcome with smiles. The food is out within a couple minutes, so nice so friendly, so sweet I love them all so professional. The place is always clean. They will come every single person that walks in the door. I will never go anywhere else but that location I’m a very happy unsatisfied customer.”

“I got the black garlic ramen. It had great flavor. It was not spicy. So if you like spicy, ask for it. The waiter was very nice. It was a little warm in the restaurant. Would come back if I lived ”
“My son was craving In-N-Out.Usually, each one of them is extremely busy, and a waiting of minimum of 10 to 30 minutes to make the order, but this location at 1pm wasn't that busy.He had his meal in less than 15 minutes.Have fun and carry on people ?”
“This has been the BEST experience dining in! When I came in I was deciding what meal I wanted, and after communicating that to the cashier, he helped me combine the best of both worlds (of which I was debating) and created an amazing meal. Thank you so much! I look forward to my next visit!”
“Excellent place for pastries and decent coffee , it is a boulangerie. The croissants are good. All bake fresh in situ. The cakes looks delicious, haven’t tried yet.The package eggs sandwich is not that good , the white bread is a dried out and not what I am used to from other bakery. Ate the filling and discarded the bread.Clean and bright location. Staff and service are excellent.”
“Absolutely delicious. Fresh chips and salsa carnitas burrito so flippin good. This place is the best around. They know how to cook. It's seasoned well and fully delicious. And fast. Ten stars.”
“Very good customer service and food. The atmosphere was peaceful and very clean. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and he's so down to earth. The catfish is a must!!!!”
“Tammy T gave her best effort to provide our table attention, for she was the only server in the evening. She was obviously swamped. I don't recall seeing more than one server on the floor. Hopefully, management can address the staffing issue.”
“been going here for years and years always a good meal always a good special priced well and good old American fair service is always great service with a smile. Ambience is a good diner surrounding.”
“Come to the Bay Area to visit family a few time per year and stop at Zachary’s every time. The stuffed spinach & mushroom is one of my favorite foods anywhere. The original spot on College Ave or the in Pleasant Hill are I make my stops but sure the others are just as good.”
“One of the best pizzas I've ever had! The crust is perfect and cheese to toppings ratio is perfect. They can even customize your pizza by doing half and half. Service is great too! Highly recommend this place.”
