“Amazing tacos, esp. the Baja fish and turkey carnitas!Attentive service -- they always ask the preferred level of hotness.Definitely a take-out place -- the 2 tables outside are kinda perfunctory...The only issue is they are no longer opened for dinner!“
“Their fried fish tacos are 10/10. The batter is perfect and it comes with avo, radish, and pickled carrots and cucumbers. I think it's better than Ensenada's on Artesia, and that place is already sets the bar high for me. Worth a visit and don't forget to give the fruta lady down the street some love too.“
“From start to finish Teddy’s was a 10/10. I got the deluxe plate and was not disappointed in the least. Everything was made to perfection and the consume was wonderful. The salsa had the perfect kick to it and you can’t beat the staff and ambience. I unfortunately am only visiting the area so I’ll just have to dream about eating their tacos on repeat.“
“As a devoted food lover, Dirt Dog- Gardena, is a Southern California experience worth savoring. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by a striking large wall mural of the Legends of West Coast Hip Hop, adding to the laid-back vibe that California is known for.The menu boasts a tantalizing array of options, from bacon wrapped hot dogs to birria tacos to fried Oreos! But when in doubt, you simply can't go wrong with a classic dirty dog and a side of filthy fries. Each bite is a flavor explosion that leaves you craving more.Refreshing beer on tap perfectly complements the bold flavors of the food and adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the dining experience.Overall, Dirt Dog in Gardena is a must-visit destination for any food lover in Los Angeles. With its inviting atmosphere, delicious food, and refreshing drinks, it's the perfect spot to indulge in a taste of the West Coast.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND“
“We ordered Tamales from here for the holidays and they were absolutely delicious! Great flavor with just enough spice. The server was extremely friendly and got our order fast. Not to mention they were super hot so it tasted so fresh. We were able to freeze some as well for later. We can't wait to go back to try other food!“
“4+ Considered one of the best by many or at least one of the most popular taco spots in Los Angeles. They have a good variety of items and meats, but I would say they are most known for their al pastor (marinated, spit-roasted pork that is usually served with a slice/ chunk of pineapple). The service here is pretty efficient since they have to be - there's almost always a line. The vibe: depending on the time of day or night you come, it's usually a mixed group of people wanting to try this spot, people eating after a drinking session, or just people looking for decently priced tacos. One of the times I was here, I was standing behind Dante Basco (Rufio!), haha. Usually a fun vibe for sure. My usual here is two tacos (typically the al pastor) and a mulita. It used to be that there was a toppings and salsa bar where you would dress up your food. Not sure if it's because of the pandemic or people taking advantage and taking too much stuff home, you now have to go to a separate window to ask for the toppings and salsa and they're individually packaged. I definitely think this place is worth going for the al pastor. I myself have been here multiple times. Parking can be tough, but if you are going during the week there's usually parking along the street facing south on LA Brea right around the corner. Just be careful though as it is a relatively high traffic area and some people seem to drive recklessly in this area.“
“If you’re ever in the Southbay in LA do yourself a favor and source this seafood gem. It’s ALWAYS busy and I don’t like waiting in line but I will here. The benefit of seafood being fresh is because they sell enough that it’s always excellent. There providers must love the account and take good care of them.Okay, ceviche is a must do with tostada chips, avocado and a slew of hot sauces and a self serve salsa station that also offers marinated white onion ribbons and wonderful whole roasted yellow chiles dusted with a red tangy red spice.Tacos come with a variety of seafood options, I suggest the battered fish as a beginning test since you will come back for them anytime you go again, just trust this.Prices are reasonable and the staff are very happy, why not, everyone eating there are friggin happy too. Parking can be a buzzkill but you’ll figure it out.“
“Not only do I love their breakfast burritos here (specifically the chorizo), but I've always had excellent service here. The workers always are so nice and welcoming. Do NOT skip out on the salsa bar, it can really take everything to the next level.“
“This is my first time coming back this tacos stand in over 7 years and this place did not disappoint at all, the tortillas are handmade store is delicious I like that they have a limited amount of meats meaning that whatever you get, will be delicious. People working they provide friendly and fast service. Location is as it should be for street tacos, it's just adds more to the ambience and experience of street tacos 10/10.“
“After running an errand in the area, G's popped up on Yelp and it did not disappoint. Conveniently located in a plaza with plenty of parking, G's was not hard to find. Upon entering, it was plenty busy for 11am on a rainy day (a good sign.) I was pleasantly surprised they offered $1.25 tacos for Taco Tuesday ! In addition, they offer this special on Thursdays and Sundays! I ordered two asada and two al pastor tacos. After ordering, I helped myself to the salsa/condiment bar which had many of the usual suspects (red, green and an avo salsa along with limes.) The tacos came out freshly cooked and were served on heated yellow corn tortillas. The meats were well seasoned and topped with onions, cilantro and red sauce. I've been on a taco crawl all over LA the past few years and these rival some of the best around. While scarfing down my tacos, I was looking over the handwritten whiteboard menu and noticed that they offered complimentary consome. How awesome is that?! This along with the fact I skipped dinner the night before prompted me to order two birria tacos which along with the consome totally hit the spot . Safe to say I will be returning again and again!“
“HOLY WOW! For someone who is afraid to eat pork for several reasons. The taste is usually not for me other than bacon of course. I had the Carnitas Quesadilla with no rice, beans only and a Pacifico brewskiThe portions were enough to last me a couple if days. My mouth is watering thinking about it . I rarely crave specific meals, treats, or anything . I want to go get one today. Doing some Spring cleaning and this will fill me up and then some. They were so so sweet here. Please tip the kind people whether you take it to go or not out it of the multitude of reviews I have given on this app over the years. This honestly night be the best food I have ever tried. ? Go get some. Just make sure you go before 4pm on weekends, and before 6 M-Th and they are open until 7pm Friday. They open at 8am on weekends and 9 during the week days. Surely hours might be subject to change. RUN! DON'T WALK. Lastly I was told to try other items for next time. I am running before they close ?????Kid-friendliness: It is a restaurant for all ages. I believe I also saw high chairs.Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance has a ramp“
“Love stopping by here after a Dodgers game...always get tacos Al Pastor & then finish the night off with dessert from the churro stand next to the troca. So delish. Tonight we got 4 tacos de al pastor, a burrito de al pastor, an agua de horchata, & a bottle of Sidral (apple soda) & spent $31.Parking: Small parking area since it's also a tire shop...but the security makes it work by telling you where to park.“
“First time here after a concert at Sofi. Food truck opened late so we were able to grab late dinner. Great service. Since we were first time customer, they let us try their popular item. Not sure what is called but it's a fried corn tortilla with refried beans and meat. It was amazing! Their salsa is also spicy and delicious. We got birrira tacos, which was good, and the burrito is packed with refries beans and meat. I'm very picky when it comes to beans but these were my favorite. It's gooey and soft and perfectly seasoned. Would come again if I'm ever back in town.“
“Flavorful, simple, complex- great on the tongue and even better in the tummy. The red sauce gets everywhere and ai loved it! I can't say enough about how helpful and gracious the staff were - brought the food to my table "FROM A FOOD TRUCK!!! AMAZING!!!!!!" before I had a chance to get up.The dining area is just off the alley off of Slausen. Under a canopy with a little music and a restroom and a sink. "Only in LA" and only at Teddy's can you find such a great spot with the tastiest birria and extra tortillas.I will be back for the torta and more of the consommé.Don't miss this, it's definitely worth the trip.“
“In town from Texas, and these might be the best pastor tacos I've had in a very long time.. So good I came back the next day. Good prices, the red salsa is delicious, all the right condiments, cebolla, cilantro, rabano, ? the horchata was very refreshing, and they made our order super fast ? Def coming back on future trips to LA (AND THEYRE OPEN LATE!!)“
“This is a very cute little taco shop! The service is warm and friendly. There are chips and a delicious salsa included. I ordered the Carne Asada burrito and my husband got shrimp and chicken tacos. We were able to sit inside at a cute little booth. It was overall a great dining experience! Everything was extremely fresh and scrumptious. Highly recommend!!!“
“My husband and I stumbled upon this place for a quick snack while walking down the Venice Beach boardwalk. We ended up sharing the Mahi Mahi tacos. It had pickled onions, corn, cheese and a white wine sauce. The fish was super fresh and the ingredients were fresh. Each order comes with 2 tacos so it was the perfect snack. I wish we had gotten more! They are soooo good!“
“This was my first time trying this place. I decided to try their quesabirria with consume. To me it was sure good i enjoyed every bite of it with red salsa and lemon squeezed in my broth and sure did the dip on the quesabirria. Very crunchy was just good. Sure will be going to visit in person.“
“I stopped by this evening with my sister in law after a Dr. Appt down the street when putting gas I could smell the cooking. I ordered 3 tacos and champurado basic of asada my sister n law ordered 2 de tripas and 1 lengua and a large jaimica. Wow the food was really really delicious like it was made from your home kitchen very tasteful. The service was very fast and they were polite and helpful. I am definitely coming back even though I'm about 30 min away it's worth it. They are located on Redondo and Vermount Gardena.“
“Absolutely delicious and great service! You can pick two meats in a burrito which was music to my ears and my carne asada and el pastor burrito was amazing (and huge). If you are in the area, stop here, and apparently you can order ahead as well.“
“The salmon at California Fish Grill is always the best, but I think another thing that I like is the street corn and the zucchini. my go to spot for healthy food and you can never go wrong with it. in this location the inside has a really cool minimalistic vibe which makes for a really nice nightParking: Easy parking but you definitely have to come at the right time“
“Finally tried this spot out a few months back and it's now a 3-4 visits/month kinda place for us. Food is fresh, hot, not greasy, and not over salted. Love their fresh corn tortillas, portions are solid, salsas are on point, and service is friendly and efficient!“
“Wow! Sunday live music 12-3 PM. Delicious mole sampler and pozole hit the spot! Great atmosphere! Attentive staff! It was even more special as it was Dia de Los Muertos season and they had a beautiful ofrenda display. This restaurant I will recommend to friends visiting L.A. A+ all around.“
“Great, quick spot for Mexican food in Hermosa Beach! Got the Asada Nachos for only $11.50. The nachos came with plenty of meat, cheese, guacamole, and salsa. Some of the best nachos I've had in awhile and for a price you can't beat!“
“Shore Grille offers a delightful dining experience with their nice, hot, juicy burgers that are sure to satisfy any burger lover. The waffle fries are fresh with just the right amount of crispiness, making them the perfect side. The restaurant itself is very clean and inviting, creating a pleasant atmosphere for enjoying a meal. One exciting addition is their new cocktail menu, which adds a fun twist to your dining experience. However, during my visit, the service was a bit slow despite the restaurant not being busy. Despite this, our waiter was very nice and made sure we were taken care of. Overall, Shore Grille is a great spot for a tasty burger and a relaxed dining experience.“
“First time eating here was delicious ? great ? taste ? on my food tostadas de camarón ? where fire ?.. my boyfriend fish ? tacos ? where fire ? as well .. my shrimp ? cocktail ? was tasty ?… I would definitely recommend it .. there’s plenty of parking ?️ the agua fresca de jamaica so yummy ?…“

“We got to meet Juan! He is amazing! Not only did he make us feel so welcome. He broke the menu down for us and showed great hospitality! One top of that the tacos, pastor and asada (what we've tried so far) are truly out of this world! Salsas made in house. & they cater! We will be back.“
“Some of the best tacos and quesadilla I’ve eaten and the service is amazing they treat you like at home. The green salsa is not spicy and is amazing. They are clean and just perfect spot for some street Mexican authentic food. Only thing missing was maybe a little table to eat but I don’t know if it’s permitted but still amazing.“
“Nice local place good food and drinks at a reasonable price. Great place to watch the games. The staff is very friendly. I had the Barbacoa Quesadilla that was very good. They have a private room for parties of business you can book. Great place to hangout and meet the locals.“
“Stopped in the area for a quick bite. I ordered 3 carne asada street tacos with onions & cilantro. The order process was quick since there wasn't anyone but a couple sitting in the place. It took roughly 4 minutes for me to get my tacos. It was really quick. I'd give the tacos 4/5. They satisfied my want for street tacos although the meat seemed a little dry. However, they did give me chips and the stuff that comes with birria, so eating the tacos with that was good! The ambiance was very casual. It looked cleaned in the restaurant and the bathrooms were also clean. I would come back here again if no other place was open to eat.“
“From first to the last bite is so good. I've been looking for a place that serves biria tacos with consomme and not just a place but the one that is not disappointing. And as I was passing by hermosa I saw their sign. And it was as good as they advertise “
“Very delicious. I ordered the Chile Relleno, and it was very good. The sauce was hearty, and homestyle. Very nice quaint place to have a pleasant memory if you're not on the run. I took it to go on my lunch hour. The staff is very friendly, and helpful. Very polite. great service, and great food. Look forward to trying more dishes! Highly recommended. Muy buena cocina, y muy amable el personal. Gracias por el buen servicio! Delicioso el chile relleno.“
“Came here because they accept debit, but this is our go to taco stand now. We got two mulitas, four tacos, one burrito, and one pambazo. Everything was delicious! Very friendly, nice peeps too. It's a taco truck, so you order and take your food. There's chairs to sit and wait for your order. Right in front of Numero Uno grocery store. I only took a picture of my food, not the rest because they weren't patient for the gram lol but yes, totally recommend this taco truck.“

“The burrito was great. The staff was very warm and friendly and made me feel at home. Definitely recommend this place.Thx only thing is the parking lot spaces were small. I recommend street parking if your car is not big enough or it gets too packed.“
“My coworkers had recommended this place after watching a Netflix documentary and let me tell you the story behind the restaurant is very heart warming. The food on the other is belly warming. If you come here the must is the carnitas tacos. Duh, simply the meat very tender and not fatty and the portions are big. I had two tacos and you can definitely make 4 with them and double it. The winner on the other hand I would say is the mafita. Pure hot cheesy mixed meat goodness. It's a giant carnitas taco with mixed meat with cheese. I don't think there's anything else I can say about this place. The other reviews speak for themselves but do watch the special about this place before you go. I definitely will recommended and come back to this place.“
“DANNY DAVIS. You seem to have forgotten how you called us pieces of crab and were being racist all bcuz we close at 4 and you arrived when we were closed and started yelling at us and saying we were pieces of crab bcuz we were closed and you also told us you were leaving a bad review on google bcuz we were closed and didnt serve you we never disrespected u or said any slurs or called u names..i believe if you are going to speak of an establishment you should speak the truth..“
“I literally think about these tacos all of the time, they were so good. I got the cheese and egg plus the beef and cheese, both were amazing. The house made tortillas were super soft, cheese was melty, salsa was fresh and tangy plus the meat was flavourful and not greasy. My three year old daughter and hubby also loved them as well. I really enjoyed the cookie milk iced coffee as well, just heavenly. I wish I could go back literally now lol see you someday soon, Homestate!“
“Just a white mofo who likes tacos so I'm no expert. But, these sh*ts where solid street tacos. Al pastor - dope Brisket - fire Carne - de-lightful Pollo - pretty standard They have ALL of the fixing! 2.50$!?!? - hell yeah. The People - great Setting - on the street so it works Listen, if you just need some quality street tacos, here ya go.“
“Wow. The Percheron Burrito. It's so good and bad all in one - a bacon wrapped Sonoran style burrito. This thing shouldn't even be legal! From a flavor and foodie experience standpoint, this is a must try. Inside your bacon wrapped burrito is either chicken (my choice), carne Asada, or Al pastor along with queso blanco, tomatoes, sliced avacado, and finished with chipotle mayo. Pure deliciousness, but obviously nothing healthy about it besides the protein. This could become THE iconic LA burrito. A must try.“
“On our way home from the Youtube theatre we stopped by for midnight munchies. I ordered the al pastor burrito with everything included and I added my hot salsa from the several bowls they had available. The burrito was a good size and the meat wasn't dry and had a good flavor. They have tables and chairs available so you can enjoy your food right there in the parking lot. They also have a restroom which is a major plus.“
“A short 15 minute walk from the LAX airport Hilton.I was there just before the family run food truck closed.Got chicken tacos to eat and a burrito for take away.Their food is filling and delicious.Enjoyed it very much. The truck is located at the edge of the airport and I watched planes landing from where I sat and ate.Thumbs up.“
“(Translated by Google) Rich carnitas tacos, very well served, well filled, the extra a golden tortilla to accompany it.(Original)Ricos tacos de carnitas, muy bien servidos bien llenitos, el extra una tortilla doradita de acompañamiento.Parking: Es una lonchera, las mesas y sillas están sobre la banqueta por lo tanto el estacionamiento es en la callé, donde se pueda.“
“Fighters... fighters .. fighters if your not eating here you don't care about muscle gains food is clean n healthy.... weather u trying to gain weight or lose weight you don't have to hire some expensive dietitian just eat here no cap ...and the food is bomb ??“
“It's rather amusing that I worked about 10 minutes away from Top Shelf for 19 years and it wasn't until I retired a few years back that I finally made it here. I was across the street at Scottsdale quite often to visit the parents of "challenging" students but never realized a gastronomic paradise was waiting across the street. Man oh man, I had been missing out. I ordered the Al Pastor burrito wet and let me tell you, it was delicious. Not a huge burrito but a generous amount of food. The sauce was flavorful and I appreciated the fact it had just the right amount of salt unlike the majority of the other places I've frequented lately. It was the best burrito I've had in ages. My wife's protein bowl with shrimp met with her satisfaction and happily had a decent quantity of shrimp unlike many other Mexican restaurants we've gone to recently. I ordered the strawberries and cream dessert but was too full to eat it so it will have to wait until later. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. No complaints about service whatsoever. The shopping center has more than enough parking so that isn't an issue. I'm not sure I would visit at night unless you feel safe going into an area with its fair share of troublemakers in the area after dark though. Top Shelf turned out to be just as advertised. I only wish I had tried them much further back in time. I would have made better use of the time I had when I was working in the area.“
“Your new fav Mexican joint & bakery. I ordered a steak & egg burrito with beans, rice, guac, and onions/cilantro - so fresh & made w love. The tortilla had a great flavor, everything was freshly prepared and it was PACKED w steak. For $9, #worth. I also got some super yummy pastries for cheap. The market also has fresh squeezed health juices, cakes, and a little grocery section. Only thing I wish they had was hot coffee for my pastry. But other than that, the staff was super sweet and happy to have us. Will recommend to everyone!“
“It's hard to find carnitas that are actually made good, but this spot has the good carnitas, the meat is perfect (not dry) and the cueritos make it even better! Definitely a must try place and is the best I carnitas place I've tried!!“
“(Translated by Google) Exquisite I recommend them and you host them on top of the tacos if you ask for them and consume the delicious birria for free when hungry or raw I recommend these tacos mmmmmm delicious ?(Original)Exquisitos se los recomiendo y le hechas huestes encima d los tacos si los pide y consume gratis d la birria riquísimos cuando con hambre ho crudo t recomiendo estos tacos mmmmmm deliciosos ?“
“Enjoyed a relaxing outdoor brunch at this popular Mexican restaurant in the Torrance Hollywood Riviera. We picked a nice corner spot with partial shield under the umbrella. It’s a dog friendly restaurant but we wanted to be away from others with our young puppy. The food came fairly quickly, we highly recommend the Octopus Ceviche if you like octopus. I had the Wednesday Burrito special, and my wife had two tacos specials with Asadas. Both were delicious. Our server, Anthony, was prompt and friendly, multiple other servers stopped by multiple times made you feel welcome and made sure we have what we needed.Parking: Parking: a bit of hit and miss in this popular district, once you find a street parking spot, I recommend using the QR code and pay electronically, it’s relatively painless. Another person tried to mess with the meter and sometimes the screen is hard to read, especially under the sun.“
