“This is a great place to get dessert after dinner or lunch. They have really good soft serve and a variety of drinks available as well. They have monthly flavors that rotate so flavors are not the same every time you go. This month's flavor was pandan and ube. Both were delicious. Only complaint is it already looked melty when we picked it up from the counter. The black sesame frappe was delicious as well. It had very rich and strong black sesame flavor. They have plenty of non-milk substitutes available as well for all their drinks. Shop overall is very small and they only had benches out so most people just grab and go. And there was only one guy working so it can be slow if you go at a busy time. Would definitely recommend coming here for dessert especially as it is warming up!“
“Amazing restaurant ♡ super friendly staff, great prices, and some of the best donuts and bagel sandwiches I've ever had. Felt very welcomed, will definitely be a regular stop now. If you ever need another worker, call me (only half joking haha)“
“Let me tell you.this was my first time going and I ordered online. Glad I did. It was packed with a line waiting due to no seats...( good sign) I pass everyone and go to register to pick up my order.. I got 2 #2 pho ( good) and a shrip and sausage spring roll..( fresh) I drove aways because i seen 4.5 stars they had and had to try.. everything was amazing I will be definitely be coming back and recommending this place to friends.. keep up the good work and thank you.“
“Unexpected place that has great food & service. The Tom Yum Goong soup was the perfect on a cold rainy day. Perfect balance of spice and ingredients. Was able to smell the ribs before they arrived at the table. There were great also! The waitress was friendly, timely and responsive. Definitely a place to try if you're in the mood for Thai food.“
“I was on my way home from a sporting event with my dog and it was quite the warm afternoon for mid-March. I figured, what better way to quench my thirst than a drink from a boba shop? I looked up boba spots from the Rosemont to Rancho Cordova area, and honestly there aren't many in that side of Sacramento. However, I came across Dream Tea and decided to try it out. Dream Tea is located in a quiet strip mall by a Dollar Tree off Bradshaw and Old Placerville Rd. When I walked in, it was quiet and modern, with fun neon lights decorating the interior. The menu items are displayed on TV screens, and I decided to get their butterfly pea flower passionfruit tea. I always opt for light ice and either 25% or 50% sweet when I order boba, and for this drink I asked for 50% sweet and light ice, which they were able to accommodate. It didn't take long for my drink to be made, and I'm glad I was able to order first, as a group of people came in right after me. This drink comes in one size, and is honestly a really good size considering how thirsty I was (water just wasn't cutting it for me that day). As another review mentioned, it is a large cup and only one size, so if you're getting another drink that isn't just fruit tea, such as milk tea, it will be quite a large drink, but personally it was the perfect size for me. The passionfruit tea was the optimal amount of fruity and sweet, especially after I mixed in the butterfly pea flower portion of the drink. I personally would have liked more passionfruit seeds as I enjoy the texture, but that's just me being picky. I didn't get boba in my drink this time as didn't feel like it, but I would like to try their other teas next time and add boba. Overall, I'm happy that there is a boba shop in the Rosemont area, and will be back.“
“No where to really sit when I went, but they made a spot for a friend of mine and I. Coffee was great, donuts were wonderful, and service was perfect. Nice lil coffee and donuts shop.Parking: There are two parking spots in the front and some more parking in the back. Better to walk there.“
“Been meaning to try this restaurant for a long time but every time I visited the wait was always over 45 minutes. Finally decided to wait this time and I'm so glad I did! The food was so delicious that I came back two days later. Both times our wait was 45 minutes long but very worth it. I can see why they are so popular! The space is small and seating is quite limited. They do have outdoor seating but it wasn't available due to the cold, rainy weather. They open their Yelp waitlist on some days so I would recommend checking to see if the waitlist is open and joining prior to heading to the restaurant. There's only street parking but I didn't have trouble finding free parking on the same block. Both times we ordered their garlic noodles and vegetable dumplings. We also ordered their mapo tofu, garlic eggplant, and spicy wonton. Food came out super quick after ordering and was piping hot. Portions are generous and everything was so delicious!! My favorite had to be their garlic noodles and garlic eggplant! The garlic noodles are perfectly cooked and seasoned and so tasteful! The garlic eggplant is one of the best ones I've had! The eggplants were soft, savory yet sweet and pairs so well with rice or noodles! I also really liked the mapo tofu as it was flavorful, although it was spicier than I had expected. The vegetable dumplings were perfectly steamed and the filling was full of texture and flavor. The dipping sauce was soy sauce based and I would have liked the dipping sauce to be more vinegary, but it still complemented well with the dumplings. I didn't try the spicy wonton but my friend enjoyed it and it comes with a spicy dipping sauce. This is one of the best Chinese restaurants I've tried in Sacramento. Would highly recommend!! Definitely suggest coming with friends and ordering family-style so everyone gets to try everything! I really appreciate that they have a variety of vegetarian options and is clearly indicated in their menu. I will definitely be back to try all the other vegetarian options!“
“Been going here since before their remodel, they just keep getting better and better. I love that they expand the menu every now and then.My only complaint is that they close at 9pm, would love to he able to come here later at night <3“
“We ordered donuts here for my daughter's first birthday. They suggested us to email someone whom I believe had an authority. Turned out the person named Van was really rude and didn't care to respond after asking me how many donuts I wanted. My husband drove straight there and asked if they could just help us out. We did a unicorn theme so anything colorful was good enough. When we came to pick them up, the baker was very excited to show us what he got. He went above and beyond for us. I almost teared up when I saw how sparkly and colorful the donuts were for my daughter's birthday. If you need anything I suggest not to email the generic bober email but go directly to the store and ask for bulk orders.“
“I work and the area and while on lunch I was craving a coffee so I stopped here. Once I saw classics like an Americano I knew the coffee here was gonna be better than more Tea places. My Sea Salt Caramel Latte was great, prepared quickly and the person who made it was very kind. Love the esthetic of this place and the selection of donuts too. Definitely a place I would come back to. 4.8/5.“
“Such a cute little boba shop, their teas ? are also very tasty! ? if you use the Too Good To Go App you can get surprise boba bags ?️? for a ? deal! Best of all, the employees are so familiar with this, from the moment I stepped in, I let her know I have the Too Good to Go app and she asked for my purchase code and had the surprise bag packed and ready to go!“
“Overall rating: 4.5/5 I went to Cafe La Vies today, Sunday 3/24 around 11am. It wasn't my first time here but when I arrived I went straight to the kiosk to browse through their menu options. The worker at the front offered to take my order at the register, which I thought was nice, but I explained that I just wanted to look through their menu first and he was understanding. I ended up getting the Vietnamese Ube coffee. Service was fast, probably about 2-3 minutes, and when I went to get my order they said that they had accidentally made a Vietnamese Ube coffee by mistake earlier, and offered to give me the extra one in addition to the one I ordered, and mentioned that the ice might just be a little melted on the extra drink. I thought this was really sweet of them not only to give me the extra drink, but also because they could've easily just given me the drink they made by accident instead of making a new one, and I would've been none the wiser lol. But it's nice to see the integrity and I was really happy with the service. The reason for the half star deduction is because of the price - a large Vietnamese Ube coffee was $8.70 after tax, which is just about the same price as most of their other specialty drinks. I get that it's a specialty drink but I feel like that price is over the top.... However, this is one of the few Vietnamese coffee shops around and if you go here you probably are aware of the price but deem the coffee worth it anyway. I don't love the price but I am willing to pay it for a little treat once in a while. The coffee itself is pretty good, although personally it's a little on the strong side for me...not complaining, just that I usually don't drink super strong coffee, so if you aren't a super strong coffee drinker you could consider asking to make it extra sweet or less strong. Compared to Vinhouse, I would say Cafe La Vies is definitely less sweet. Overall, service is amazing, coffee is good, only thing that could be better is price, but hey, beggars can't be choosers. Definitely a great treat every once in a while!“
“Warning ahead of time, no cash establishment! Place is small but dazzling foodie lounge, they got a good selection of Boba tea drinks, interesting mochi donuts (Taro is the best imo) which is a variation of dongo balls in a circular ring. Young children teens will most likely be appeared by the ambience.“
“First time here yesterday and ordered the salt n pepper shrimp. It's amazing and delicious and the best part is it's only $8!!!! The drinks are good too. I had lychee and honeydew snows with boba and can't wait to go again.m to try other flavors. They have soooo many flavors to choose from! Friendly service and I will definitely be back. I don't know why I never stepped foot here as I always shop at sf supermarket nearby. I shall be a regular now.“
“We came here on a Saturday night and it was actually super busy and there was limited seating so we were standing around as we waited for our order. The inside is aesthetically pleasing to the eye! The staff were working fast to get everyone's orders out right away. We ordered a Thai tea with boba and a taro milk tea, they were both good and flavorful. They have so many variations and options to choose from, we stuck to our safe orders this time but we definitely would come back to try some of the other options!“
“I have tried all the Boba drink shops in Sac and Raretea is hands down the best! Their teas are strong enough where you get a boost in energy and the drinks are all expertly crafted by their friendly and knowledgeable team. I will always make the effort to head over here even if I have to take the extra time to park in the DOCO garage.“
“Man oh man. This place is too dang good! We come every Sunday & the owner is always here! Hard working bee she is! Super nice & we just reccomend this place to anyone coming out to the Natomas area :) 5million stars out of 10! The Taro & popcorn chicken is super good!“
“It's so cute. If you're into warm fuzzies, and all things pink, this place is for you. Customer Service is great, and I brought my 10-year-old with me, and she loved the little gigantic cup with the little stuffed surprise at the bottom of the cup. I got the grape mock beer fruit tea, and I found it really refreshing and not too sweet. It actually tastes like real beer! My daughter got the strawberry matcha ice cream and tea and she loved it. We got a lychee milk tea to go with lychee jelly and it was also good. Also enjoyed the crispy chicken. Would definitely come back!“
“I had lunch at this authentic Taiwanese restaurant yesterday, 02/18/2024, and was satisfied with the quality of the food. I had Pot #2 (Lamb Hot Soup) and it was delicious. The pork bone soup is very tasty and that it could be filling since you can always request a refill of the soup. The veggies and the lamb meat were prepared well to give the customer a good size portion meal. This is one hot pot place that I will be coming back. The $17 price tag (tax and tip not included) for my meal which include the iced tea is reasonable. And this is my honest and unbiased review.“
“Tried this place last year with my sister and it was good. But I completely forgot about it. Until my husband mentioned teriyaki chicken. Omg i am glad I remembered this place. The food is so good, even my picky 4 yr old said it was “bussin”. We had the chicken mix combo plate, and the regular chicken combo plate and the lumpia. The lumpia was sooo good. Not burnt or dried out. We ate the leftovers for lunch the next day. Tasted like real authentic Hawaiian bbq“
“Banh mi, pho, rice plates, bun, bobas and more! I love grabbing banh mi from this place if I can't drive all the way down to Stockton Blvd. I also love some of their speciality dishes like banh cuon. The texture is perfection. They sporadically have desserts as well. You order and pay first. I also love that there's a little shop on the side for Vietnamese staple items. The openness of the shop along with all the windows is nice. Prices are reasonable for location. They also do party trays. The owner is very sweet. Come support this mom and pop shop.“
“Updated: 10/31/2023This place is always dead. An Asian guy took my order...doesn't seem to speak or understand english well but my oblong red bean, & Herb jelly milk tea with extra sugar light on ice still tasted delicious. ?I ♥️ this tea place. She made my thai tea super quick. Prefect amount of sweetness.“
“I normally am not a big fan of these tea places, but I love the option of 0% sugar. The yogurt drinks and the tiger brown latte with boba and cream is soooo good. New favorite place. 10/10 next time I'll come in and order, I usually DoorDash.“
“This is a fast snacking place with an Asian heritage. It has teas, smoothies, flavored ice drinks and snacks galore and rice bowls. I usually will have a large tea or a smoothy to cool off on a hot day. But if I am hungry, I will get a snack or two with a rice bowl. They will serve the order within a 5 - to 10-minute wait. There are many different sizes for the drink. Each drink can be topped with a wide range of toppings.“
“Stopped in on a road trip to Lake Tahoe since I was craving boba. Cute little shop with lots of drink options! I got the golden which was really yummy. The boba was a little too soft before my preference. We also had the garlic fries which was so good!! Big portion size and shared with my husband. We ate them up! The area is a little sketchy but the shop was very welcoming. Would come again if I lived in the area.“
“Good corn dogs. I plan to try a couple of different ones. Too bad they took a while to make and that the charge one average price for the coating and add another price for the inside.Well, geez... if course I want either meat or cheese inside of the outer coating.(No... could I please order just the breaded outer costing to go? [said no one] )And seeing as how it looked as though all the outer coatings had the same price and all the inner filings had the same... why not just say that each one is one set price unless you get one or two of some kind of specialty item they might offer?I will be back because they were really good, but it's kind of unnessacerly confusing, and the process of their pricing should be rethought.“
“Came here to get a Boba drink for our daughter during vball tournament at convention center. What a hidden gem! The mocha coffee smoothie with Boba was good! There are also vegan food available for sit down. Place is clean and safe. Came back for more.“
“walked in & noticed if you order on the app (as your first order) you get $10 off a $15 order! we ordered a milk foam green tea (half sweetness & ice) with boba, earl grey milk tea (half sweetness & ice), and a thai tea. it came to about $9. the drinks were alright, my boyfriend liked his earl grey and i'd say my milk foam green tea was a bit watery but still had that floral taste - just wish they'd have those "sippy-cup lids" for the foam!“
“Great ice cream, I always go here with friends when we're in the area. You also get free coins for the machine so its extra fun. The staff is also always attentive and nice since one time we got a cup of just mochi bits. Thanks a bunch“
“We had a wonderful experience here! The person at the counter was incredibly helpful, assisting us in choosing and preparing delicious drinks. The service was excellent, and the beverages were top-notch. Will definitely be coming back for more and more!“
“Love that they have little games for kids to play and tons of areas to sit. Additionally I love that they have a recycling program and you can bring your own clean up and get free topping! That's awesome! Thank you for doing things this way to help our planet. I'll post pictures below. I am always happy with my drinks every times I'm here.“
“The drinks are super flavorful here! I got the strawberry lemonade with tapioca pearls and lychee jelly. Very strong lemonade and strawberry flavor with actual strawberry pieces blended in it. The regular was good sized and decent priced for the quality. Service was awesome, she even gave us personal recommendations. Atmosphere very quiet and good for studying or small conversation even on a Friday night. Thank you so much, I hope to be back soon!“
“Go to spot for boba when visiting my friend in this neck of the woods. I really like their taro milk tea with boba and their fruit teas. My friend got a kiwi something last time and it was legit good! I'll have to remember to get that one next time. Inside they are connected with the sushi spot, so you just have to walk up to the first counter and ignore the wait to be seated sign. Even when the sushi spot is closed between dining service, they will be open to order boba. Everyone has been nice, patient, and helpful. Quality of drinks has always been good too.“
“This is a great staff and very very helpful and caring .i dropped my tea on the way to my vehicle and busted it open .Since it was for my daughters I had to go back in and pay for another one which I wasn't mad at all because it was my fault .As I was paying for it the owners I presume and the ladies taking order then told me that there was no need to pay and that they would make me a new one ..I'm so grateful that we have honest caring individuals working here .you guys are awesome“
“I have enjoyed the food here every time I come. I recommend if you’re in the neighborhood, to at least give this family owned restaurant. Guaranteed it won’t be your last visit here. The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly. Great job BOBA PHO U!“
“The tokoyaki and garlic fries are my go to snack here they have a large selection of snacks and drinks but take into account that they are usually busy since they are connected to the restaurant next door but its worth the wait and you can even play card games that are available to you while you wait nice vibe overall.“
“The customizable options allow you to tailor your drink to your exact preferences, ensuring a perfectly personalized beverage every time. The modern and inviting atmosphere makes it the perfect spot to relax and unwind with friends or simply enjoy a moment of tranquility. 10/10“
“Star KTV Lounge & TeaHub does not only have karaoke sing-along. They are also an excellent place for lunch or dinner, even if you’re looking for a place for a good drink. They have a good dinner menu and yummy drinks. I’ve been here for dinner many times, and I have never disappointed. The customer service is very good too! The only problem is the parking lot. Too many cars and the parking space are too narrow and very busy!Parking: The parking lot is Very narrowWheelchair accessibility: Star KTV is wheelchair friendly.“
“My sister own a business in the same complex and always raves about the sushi and owners. So I knew I had to try it out and it was the best sushi e ever and my husband agreed who is very particular. Can’t wait to go back! The nicest owners too! We will be back.“
“Passed this place all the time and finally decided to give it a chance, and I'm glad I did. The menu has a variety of drinks to choose from, and because I'd never tried boba before this, I didn't know which one to get. Thankfully, the cashier was kind enough to assist me with my decision, by offering suggestions. The takoyaki was tasty and the atmosphere was really cozy. I'll definitely be coming back for more!“
“Wow, I really like this new milk tea place. I got a JUMBO sized (32oz) Vietnamese coffee for $7 that was delicious! My partner and I shared it and we had some the next morning as well. Their popcorn chicken is really tasty, and I love that you can pick the spice level. I always load up the cayenne pepper myself, so I picked level 3/5 and it was highly seasoned. It was a little too much seasoning for my partner, but perfect for my taste. I would recommend this spot to others.Vegetarian options: Plant based milk and French friesDietary restrictions: Non dairy optionsParking: Park behind the shop near movie theaterKid-friendliness: Sugary drinks and chicken and fries“
“Pros:- Teas were delicious! and not too sweet. (Taro milk tea, jasmine milk tea).- Very friendly staff.- A nice, easygoing place to hang out.Cons:- Popcorn chicken was not the Taiwanese style you usually expect from boba tea cafes. It was just the regular grocery store kind (and for $7+ :/...)- Bobas were tough in the middle.Dietary restrictions: Dairy free options available“
“The roasted pork was really good, me and my family really enjoyed the food served, although the front desk people don't speak fluent English they tried hard to accompany and understand what I needed. Overall this is a really good affordable restaurant I would consider going to again! Thank you for the food yall left a good impression on us :)“
“I came to this place a few times for drinks and donut(Amaris )was there last time. She was so attentive to everyone coming in and making sure all the guests were taken care of. Even though there were lots of people sometimes she was always quick yet had a very nice and calm attitude and was very sweet and friendly, she took the effort to tell everyone about the offer they had that day.Thank you so much ☺️ ?“
“This place is a hit or miss. And I mean every time we tried to come here, they were closed. So confusing. This time they were open and we were meeting up with some friends. There were a couple of customers ahead of us but the ordering didn't take too long. However, it took quite a bit before we got our drink orders. Our friends ordered food and it came out fairly quickly after the initial lag. Drinks were delicious there's a lot to choose from in their menu“
“This place was a blast for my daughter and I. So many photo moments built into the restaurant with their decor and design. They even offer events upstairs with a ball pit! Pretty cool spot, the boba was excellent, coming back for mama daughter dates in the future.“
“Pretty good boba teas here. A bit on the higher price point but the quality makes it worthwhile. Sometimes wait times during rush hours are long, a couple times I waited almost 30 minutes for my drinks, but it’s good boba teas so the wait is not an issue for me. I really enjoy the crème brûlée speciality milk tea.“
“Use of natural teas in the milk tea enhance the overall flavor profile of the boba on hand. The brown sugar flavors present in a good chunk of the teas is only further accented by their ice cream boba drinks. Great for hot snacks and chilling, nice atmosphere and great food.“
