“Great place to watch a game and grab a cheesesteak. Food is made to order and is delicious. I had a South Philly with sweet and spicy peppers. It was fire! I wasn't even that hungry and I was going to split half with my gf, but somehow ended up eating the whole thing. Definitely recommend going to this place if you want to get full at a great price. Plus the owners are dope! Tell them Jason sent you!“
“My husband got the Chop pastrami salad, which is always good and this time I got the shrimp tacos. Perfect amount and should've asked for some spicy sauce or jalapeños because it could've used a little kick. All in although, service was great what else can you ask for!?“
“I've now been to Deli Lama about four times and have had a great experience every time. It's in a random part of town but usually there's parking nearby even though some of the spots might not look legit because of construction but regardless, the food is tops and it's a great value too. I've never made it early enough to get breakfast options (and I love breakfast burritos, so I wanna do that some time) but their sandwiches are really solid. I got the TPA most recently on Dutch crunch and it's filling and a great deal! Definitely wanna try more different options but will just have to get up earlier!“
“Went a little before the dinner rush. My group is from out of town and struggled with deciding what to order but the person who took our order was extremely patient and friendly. We ended up getting an original cheesesteak and a GMO cheesesteak. The GMO was my fav. I’ll definitely come here again.“
“Great no frills steak house in the neighborhood.Very simple but to the point menu.Asked for a very rare steak, came through and was well seasoned and of good quality.2 steak meals with beer is $60, which is a great value!Interior design is humble and welcoming. Feels like you are transported to a movie set in the early 70s or 80s.My only notes: drafts appear to be misaligned. Beer tasted a little flat.Would definitely come here again, and recommend others to try it too.“
“I ordered classic cheesesteak. The cheesesteak is really good! The bread is crunchy and it has full of meat and cheese. I feel full eating half of it but ended up finishing the whole one. The store has a lot of wall art and it is cool. The staff maybe Jay the owner is really warm making me comfortable while dining. If I will be around this area again, definitely I will go back here again. Their price is reasonable. :)“
“This place is delicious and convenient! They even have a mini parking lot to park in which is great for the area. The Philly cheesesteak was delicious and filling. Also really enjoyed the fried combo which came with sauces thankfully. Amazing spot here for quick food!“
“I went to school outside of Philly so I know a bit about what an authentic cheesesteak should taste like and Phillies is the real deal! Highlights of my first visit include authentic Amoroso rolls brought in from Philly, a wide selection of Boylan sodas, and, for old school ambience, an impressive collection of pennants from Pennsylvania universities that adorn the walls of the place. We ordered two original cheesesteaks, one with Cheese Whiz, the other with white American cheese, plus garlic fries. The sweet and hot peppers in the sandwiches were awesome! We also enjoyed the Scrimshaw beer (Fort Bragg) and the locally produced Headlands beer. Service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend!“
“My husband likes Charley's Cheesesteaks sandwiches and I like their fries. I liked the sandwich too, but they use sweet bread, like many fast food places, so it's not my taste.Anyway, this place is quite suitable for a bite to eat.“
