“First time visitor. Ordered the bacon and egg breakfast with a side of biscuits and gravy. The breakfast was really good. I liked the country potatoes and the eggs were done to order. I have to say I did not care for the biscuits and gravy( well the gravy). The gravy had a congealed texture and was fairly bland. Being a southern boy I expected to have a white gravy and sausage. I took one bite, was unsure so took a second. That was all it took to decide I did not care for the gravy. They removed them from my bill but left me with a unsatisfied craving for real biscuits and gravy. Everything else was great.“

“I love Outerlands, it's a beautiful, small and cozy space and at dinner time it is lit just right. We were a large group seated by the window, and the service was truly impeccable. The String Theory & River Crossing cocktails are two of the best drinks I've ever had, anywhere. They make that aperitivo rossa themselves, OMG. Balanced perfection and, oh, just SO GOOD! Outstanding mixology. The starters were great (esp the kohlrabi salad--GET IT!), but a bunch of us had the chicken as our main and it was sadly disappointing. It might seem extreme to give three stars for food based primarily on the chicken alone, but I do feel that chicken is such a foundational/cornerstone dish for a restaurant, the chef should feel compelled to put out the best possible version they can. It was dry, the skin wasn't crisp enough, and it was accompanied by a crouton, chicory, and fennel salad that was very tart and one dimensional, totally missing balance (I think it needed some currants or golden raisins--SOME spec of sweetness to offset the VERY bitter chicories and the lemon vinaigrette). All five of us who ordered the chicken left half the food on our plate--and we're hearty guys who love to eat. Please, take a critical look at this dish. Your customers are loyal and we love you and want you to succeed. BTW, great date night ambiance!“

“Garden Creamery offers some unique and delicious ice cream flavors. Be prepared for a bit of a wait, though! There's almost always a line snaking outside the shop, and it can take 10-15 minutes to get your hands on a scoop (or two). The indoor seating is also very limited, so be prepared to enjoy your ice cream on the go or find a spot on a nearby bench.Despite the wait, the staff at Garden Creamery is fantastic. They're friendly, patient, and happy to answer your questions about their ever-rotating selection of exotic flavors. Here's where Garden Creamery truly shines. If you're looking for something beyond vanilla and chocolate, this is the place. They offer a wide range of options, including vegan choices, that incorporate Asian-inspired ingredients. For my visit, I tried the Calamansi Creamsicle (vegan) - a delightful tart and creamy coconut dream featuring a Philippine lemon. The Ken's Korner (Oahu) was another winner, combining Hawaiian vanilla ice cream with a sweet and savory hit of Ken's horner Hing Mui Sauce and passion fruit preserves. They also have more adventurous flavors like durian, hojicha (roasted green tea), Thai tea, and even black sesame. If you don't mind the wait and the limited seating space and you are looking for a truly unique and flavorful ice cream experience, then Garden Creamery is the place. Just be prepared to be patient and adventurous! 4 stars for the delicious and creative flavors and the friendly staff.“

Their flavors and pastries are all hand crafted from what I could tell and it shows because they taste amazing. Everything I had was absolutely delicious and I'll definitely be coming back. When we went, there was only one person working so be prepared to wait but I promise that it's worth it. I will say next time I'll probably go with a regular scoop because I feel like I got less ice cream than my girlfriend who didn't get the bun. The bun however, was very flavorful and wasn't too thick, which I appreciated. Also if you get a bun, it does melt and get messy which is to be expected so be prepared for that. Overall, absolutely love this place and would highly suggest to any ice cream enjoyer.“

Plus a nice hot mayo to go with it, there is not a single thing I would change about it. We tried their IPA on tap, dark lager, and two of the saisons (original and strawberry). Everything was delicious. I normally do not like IPAs but this one was on the lighter end. I do wish they had a slightly larger selection. I love stouts and was disappointed to see they did not have any stouts on their menu. Seems like they do rotate their beers often so will be back! We did not try their food but looks like they often have pop-up restaurants there. There were burgers the night we went, and looks like the following night was going to be BBQ. I ordered the fried egg on brioche toast, which is a delight. Its clever how they add frisee salad mix that sits in between the fried egg and brioche toast. It has the right acidity to amalgamate the buttery brioche, fried egg, saltiness from the prosciutto, and the gruyere cheese. The chili flakes add the right amount of heat and doesn't overpower. The plow potatoes are absolutely bangers! Salt, naturally sweet potatoes, rosmary, smashed and baked! Yes, please! “What a beautiful coffee shop! Lots of outdoor seating too. I loved that this was just a few steps from our airbnb when we visited SF. they have lots of options and everything was delicious. I love a chai latte so of course I ordered the ginger and turmeric chai. Wow!! So flavorful and so delicious. Spicy!! My hubby got the vanilla latte and their vanilla was wild! Sooo good. Better than any vanilla latte I've ever had. Great spot to check out!“

“Eating at Luisa's restaurant is like walking into a family kitchen and sitting down for an authentic home-cooked meal! We were just visiting the area after returning from a cruise and decided to try it. We enjoyed wine and appetizers of bruschetta, meatballs, Caesar salad, and beef carpaccio. Our main courses were Pappardelle with vodka sauce and Clams linguine with red sauce. We topped the evening off with a cannoli and limoncello and mascarpone cake with creamy lattes. Luisa was there watching that we got the best possible service. You owe to yourself to try this place at least once, but you'll probably return again and again.“

“Nice ambience, solid friendly service. I'd come here again. Good for a date night. Extensive wine list, would order the margarita pie next time.Skip the castelvetrano olives, nothing special. Chicken liver crostini was solid, good ratio of liver to toast, and the little radish and olive on the plate was nice. You do taste the liver though, don't get me wrong.Gnocchi with nettle pesto was very good, nice texture on the gnocchi, not too firm or bouncy. Pesto and fonduta were rich, the chanterelles adds needed textural and flavor contrast. Pizza with fungi was solid but I'd recommend the margherita next time for more contrast with the acid of the tomatoes. The crust is really good here, nice chew, solid base with a little droop. The fungi pizza was just a little one note with the richness from the cheese and a little savoriness from the mushrooms, missing some acid for freshness for balance.Market price on the 1lbs roasted snapper (other option was sea bream) was $42. Nice firm flesh and they remove the central bone in advance. The preserved Meyer lemon on the side was only ok, the parsley sauce was better, the grilled scallions quite good. We picked the cabbage with bagna cauda for our side - great execution/char on the cabbage, the sauce was savory without tasting fishy at all with some crouton/crispy breadcrumbs for contrast. Highly recommend the cabbage.Buttermilk panna cotta nailed the texture but my table mates commented that it just felt like Greek yogurt given the tang and that's fair. It's hard to get the passion fruit on the spoon so it's a bit of a waste. For the brown butter gelato and blood orange sorbet to, the gelato was better imo, more depth of flavor, quite dense, but it overall tasted more milky like a fior di latte with just a touch of nutty brown butter at the end. I wonder if they add more milk solids to the butter to bump that up. Blood orange could have been more orange-y, get some oil extraction of the peels or something.“

“I often walk around Pillar Point and make my way to Princeton where the waterfront eateries are. I've noticed this place along the way though it was usually at a time when it wasn't open to the public. On one particular afternoon, I saw there were people milling about with drinks in their hands, so I thought there was a private event. Did I just crash a wedding reception?Turned out I was right as I took a closer look, but I also noticed a converted trailer serving cocktails and what's more, it was open to anybody. It even has a name, The Swell Lounge, an apt name because that was the first word that came to my head. Yes, I'm the type that still says 'Swell' or worse, 'Swellegant'. Cole Porter died after I was born, so I can't be his reincarnation, can I?Anyhow, I was taken by the cute names. In the mood for a Moscow Mule, I ordered the $15 Paddle the Volga, an intoxicating mix of offshore vodka, lime, blackberry, sage, and ginger beer in the appropriate tin cup (photo: yelp.to/KHEpu3eT1m). I was able to nurse it in their large patio area where I kept wondering if I should've brought a gift. Silver tongs are always nice. They could use them to shake hands.I was ready for a second drink, the $15 Humpback Migration, a margarita doppelgänger with blanco tequila, pineapple-serrano pepper juice, lime, and blackberry sage syrup. It came with a salty-spicy rim (photo: yelp.to/cHoT3VDW3Q). This one was quite tasty and almost had me consider the variety of appetizing small plates and desserts they make here, but I had to position myself for the bouquet.COCKTAILS - 4 stars...nice libations with creative variations on a Moscow Mule and a margaritaAMBIANCE - 4 stars...even if it felt like an event space, it was still a nice settingSERVICE - 4 stars...the bartender was attentive TOTAL - 4 stars...a reason to chill in HMBRELATED - Exploring the Pacific side of the peninsula? “The ham and cheese croissant is the best of ever had in San Francisco. Oh my God. I did get a black coffee which maybe was a mistake, cuz it was not that great. But honestly that doesn't matter. Every single pastry looks amazing, I will be back and will be getting espresso instead of drip.“

“I have to admit, as an airplane nerd I’m perhaps a little biased since this spot is at the Half Moon Bay airport it here it goes!Pilot Light is literally in an old terminal building so to the reviews that say it feels like it…. Yeah. But that said, I enjoy the environment. It’s relaxed and bustling at the same time. There’s a good sized outdoor patio with several tables when the weather is good. There’s usually a few operations of general aviation aircraft every hour. The food: I have yet to have anything here that isn’t good. I’ve tried several meals, and the Huevos Rancheros is definitely a fave. Presentation is always pretty, too! There was one review about the plastic glasses being worse for wear, but that problem is solved by nice aluminum glasses. Even the coffee, which is tasty, is served in an aluminum insulated cup!Pilot Light is definitely on my must go list in the area. The service is always friendly!Wheelchair accessibility: Looks like it would be good.“

“Came here with my family for the first time trip try this place out. Called ahead and they don't take reservations. There is a public parking lot just a couple hundred feet to the left of the restaurant. Parking is only free on Sundays. We went on a Sunday night for dinner and the place was almost full. I tried their mushroom soup which was thick and had a strong mushroom flavor that was really flavorful, creamy and not salty. Their cup is really a bowl. Very generous serving. I ordered their mushroom ravioli with truffle sauce. The ravioli was all dente and the mushroom truffle sauce was very good. We also ordered their bruschetta which had several different variations. Probably the best bruschetta that I have tried. With so many people in the restaurant, it was quite loud. And having a conversation with your party you will need to raise you voice to be heard. Most entrees were in the $20-$27 range. This is definitely a family friendly place. It would be difficult to conduct a business meeting here during dinner. The place is clean and has a simple decor. Overall I would recommend you try this place.“
